We were looking for Halal Taco restaurant but took us to Kabob korner which happened to be the same restaurant. This is our first time in the restaurant and came first father day. I was surprised by the extensive menus items. We ordered variety of food and we very happy with each delicious meal. I live in Houston but will travel to Katy to eat again. Recommend this restaurant highly

I dined here Saturday night and ordered the mixed platter, which was accompanied by delicious naan bread served with a side of creamy house hummus. Every bite was absolutely scrumptious! The service was also top-notch, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience.

I recently visited Kabob Korner and had a fantastic experience. The service was quick, and the food arrived hot and flavorful. Their halal tacos, offered through the Halal Taco Company located within Kabob Korner, were particularly impressive. The Tandoori Chicken Taco, featuring spicy tandoori chicken, tandoori salsa, and pico de gallo, stood out as a delicious fusion of flavors. Kabab Korner is our absolute favorite place to dine! My husband and I love the warm and inviting atmosphere, which makes every meal feel special. The service is always quick, and the servers are attentive and friendly. But the highlight is undoubtedly the food – consistently delicious and flavorful every single time. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food overall tastes very good. I tried combination feast with chicken, beef, and sausage. The sizzling sound from the hot plate made me hungry the moment it was served. The green pepper and the grilled onions went very well with the meat. My only complaint is that the meat was a little bit chewy. The mango lassi tastes also good. Not too sweet. Very healthful. I will definitely come back to this restaurant.

Our first time here. My wife and I decided to try them for lunch. We had seen it many times but never stopped for some reason. My wife tried their ginger mint iced tea. I got a plain unsweet tea. My wife ordered the chicken kabob plate. I ordered the iraqi kabob plate, I was warmed it was spicy, which it was but good. The staff was really friendly. They sat us promptly and brought us menus. They were very friendly and attentive. We noticed when we walked out, on the outside of the door, committing to people that it they were hungry and couldn't afford to buy food that they would happy feed them. My wife and I were both shocked and happily surprised...what a great idea.

Hidden gem amongst bustling city! A large group of us decided to try the location in Katy as first-timers, so we all ordered various dishes and shared amongst each other. I must say, there wasn't a single dish I didn't like! Everything was incredibly good! The service was great and the place had a wonderful cozy atmosphere. By my surprise, it wasn't too jam packed full of people, nor was the parking a nuisance, either. Definite jewel in the rough! I'm going back!

The street tacos and grilled tacos were great. The setting was great and service was fast and accurate. The lighting isn't too bright at dark so it sets up a good ambiance for a dinner conversation.

The food was delicious. We ordered the mixed platter and the butter chicken. The platter came with juicy kebabs and tender chicken pieces, though the beef was a bit tough for my taste. The butter chicken sauce, however, was wonderfully smooth and full of flavor.

I live near Kabob Korner and I generally like their food but I don’t eat there often because their prices are ridiculous. Case in point: none of the burgers or wraps come with fries included. A side of fries is $5 and the portion you get is robbery (see pic). For what you get, it should cost no more than $2.50-$3.00 max. The drinks like the lemonades are fresh but at $6.00 a cup? I can go to Chick Fil A and get more value. I always feel ripped off after eating here.

This place has been our favorite for a long time, especially for kebabs. Unfortunately, our recent takeout experience was disappointing. We ordered beef sheekh kebab, beef bihari kebab, and chicken malai boti. The sheekh kebab was overcooked, dry, and burnt, and the bihari kebab was also dry. Only the chicken was good. We noticed a similar drop in quality during our last order in November as well. We even called the restaurant to complain. Something has clearly changed, as the taste is not what it used to be.

i wanted to like this place—i typically don’t leave bad reviews but this was pretty bad. service was terrible from waiting staff except for one sweet waitress who was helpful, didn’t catch her name though. we waited long periods of time. ordered 3 dishes and the beef and chicken shawarma plate was one of them. it was bad. told them the beef tasted as if it had gone bad and the waitress said that’s just how they make it, that they had orders for it all day and nobody said anything, and there’s nothing that they can do. then we asked again later and they offered to remake a chicken only one. that was ok but still bad. very dry and the hummus was gross. and the portion was pretty small. for $18 i expected a lotttt more the loaded protein nachos were good, wasn’t a fan of the tandoori chicken that i selected as the protein. tandoori chicken taco was not good, again it was dry meat, and very spicy. the birria and consume was good, the only dish i liked unfortunately atmosphere of the restaurant was good, the music was way too loud, bathroom was dirty. would probably not come back here

I got takeout because they close the dining at 8. No problem but they forgot my drink, garlic bread and garlic sauce. The chicken shawarma was ok, no garlic sauce in it flavor was different. Hummus was also a little off, not sure if it was the olive oil or the hummus itself.

Picked up nihari with 4 naan for takeout from Kabob Korner in Katy . Everything looked normal at pickup, but when I got home and unwrapped the naan, they were rock-hard frozen ones—straight from the freezer, not fresh from the tandoor like they should be with desi dishes like nihari. I called back right away, spoke to the front desk lady, and she admitted the tandoor was broken that day. She promised a refund for the naan since no one bothered to warn me or offer alternatives at pickup. Sounded fair. Followed up today, and now the story changed: “Owner said no refund because you took the naan.” Took it? I took what was handed to me after they assured resolution over the phone! The manager wouldn’t even come on the line to discuss it—zero accountability or basic courtesy. This is disappointing from a place that charges premium prices for “authentic” Med food. Fresh naan is a basic expectation here, not a luxury, and lying about refunds after the fact is shady. Feels like some Desi spots think once the money’s in, the customer doesn’t matter. Won’t be back. Avoid if you want honest service and actual fresh food. One star only because the nihari itself wasn’t bad—everything else was a fail.

I will never attempt to go to this place just went to this place yesterday and ordered some platers. The meat was not cooked properly. I told the attendant that the food is not really good. It’s too hard to chew the meat. She said I’m gonna tell the manager and the issue was not solved. Nobody came even to ask what is going on. I had a very bad experience.

Kabob corner on south mason rd in Katy used to be so good , however to my surprise today I went to take home order of a mixed platter . When I open the box to eat at my home . I was extremely sad.Omg The quality , the taste, the texture, the quantity . Horrible horrible horrible . Instead of beef and chicken kabobs I found shredded meat only a handful. This is not kabobs and it taste like dead dog meat dry to the bone taste like 10 days old food. Also the yellow rice smelly already started rotten . I asked salad as side item and salad is bunch of old dried leaves , nothing but a trash food I had to dump in trash can wastes my $22 . It looks like new owners , may not be Halal anymore. Do not go there . It’s not Kabob corner that it used to be . I regret going there . It never like this before I used to take out at this place many times in the past it was very tasty and fresh and good quality . I am not going there anymore. I didn’t write any review in my life . It has to be known to the public . That’s why I am writing . It’s located on S.Mason rd . Katy
