I have been a patient of Dr. Khalid since 2018 and from the very first visit I felt truly comfortable. He is def. one of the few physicians left that Has GREAT Bed Side Manners!! He listens and at the appropriate times may even add a lil humor. Lol. I Love his professionalism and the fact that when having procedures…he is VERY GOOD at making u Comfy, Relaxed yet Seriously Business like, knowledgeable & Detailed w/ALL Procedures that I’ve had. Last, some have complained about delayed Test results in previous reviews but remember..other labs etc. actually preform these, therefore, the timing probably NOT on him/his team!! Thank U, Dr. Khalid and staff❤️

Friendly and thorough, yet efficient. Every employee I encountered, (reception, nurses, physicians) was personable, friendly, and did a great job of explaining their role and the procedure, yet allowing me to ask questions. They have their process nailed down and are so efficient that I waited very little time. I brought a book with me to read while I waited, and only got in 2-3 pages! Dr Khalid kept me informed and explained the outcome of the procedure.

The entire office is full of such nice and competent people. Dr. Khalid is a very good doctor and takes time with his patients. He makes you feel very at ease and secure.

Dr Kalid is great. Suggests I see a surgeon. I was told by the girl that sets up the appointments that someone would call me to get this done. I’m still waiting!!! Hopefully someone will get on this soon.

The doctor is great(from past experience) but their front desk needs to seriously get their act together. On hold for 30 minutes. When I pointed this out the worker scoffed. I was trying to get the location of my appointment and needed to cancel because it was at a location too far from me to make it in time. (My fault for not double checking that if it was at my normal location) the worker answered the phone laughing and took 3 tries to greet me.

-10 Stars. Dr. Omer Khalid almost killed me doing a colonoscopy when he was in Thomasville, NC. Not just because he cut me during colonoscopy, but because instead of getting necessary medical help, he tried to get my sister to take me home while I was screaming due to being septic. Kept giving me pain shots to knock me out, but would not call ambulance to get me to hospital. I finally got to hospital and lost part of my colon and ended up on life support due to his delaying the medical care I needed. Only 3% of people survive what I did. And he put in my medical records that the colonoscopy went fine. Instead of firing him, they let him resign. Then he got this job in Richmond, VA. Check his background and see how many states he has worked in and how many lawsuits he has had. Just warning you for your own life and those you love.

Dr Khalid is an outstanding physician. Consequently his office cost him a patient…me. I received 2 texts from his office in 2024 about a month apart stating they wanted to schedule a procedure. Upon calling the office in both instances I was told the 2025 calendars were not available. No apology for the misunderstanding but so what. I missed a call Tuesday tried calling back and was put on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. I called back again today and sat on hold for 21 minutes before an automated operator wanted to know if I wanted to schedule a callback which I did. When the woman called back she wanted to know how she could help me???? You’ve got to be kidding THEY CONTACTED ME ABOUT THE PROCEDURE. With 2 erroneous texts and a phone call don’t they make notes. I’ve contacted my Family Doctor for another referral and told the woman I would not be making the appointment. She could have cared less…. The sad part is I truly like Dr. Khalid but it’s time to tell these offices with the attitude that we’re not going to be treated like something you wipe off the bottom of your shoe which is how I was treated. Their people DON’T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I’m not putting up with it; I’m going elsewhere.

Dr is fine although you can’t get an appointment with him staff TERRIBLE I have a bacterial infection since June first available for EGD September biopsy positive staff took 2 weeks to call in BISMUTH really Medicare does not cover this med and no antibiotic was given 🤔🤔 I go to my PCP get retested sure enough we are in October now to get an antibiotic still positive call Hanover office they have not heard of dr Khalid this is such a mess right now you can’t leave a message for this doctor either nowhere is his name under the answering machine ….so sad really
