Ship to Shore Kingston Reviews
last night was my first time going to ship to shore. not only did they create the most romantic atmosphere on valentine’s day, the staff were kind and the food was absolutely delicious. i can’t remember the last time i ate at a restaurant and felt the passion and love cooked into a meal. you can tell a lot about a person by the food they feed you. 1000000000/10, would definitely go back there again. ** you should book a reservation in advance for dinner bc they are super popular!!!**
So It was my first time going and I really liked my dinner -only thing I would of asked for the sauce on the side. They gave about 10 big carrots -a spoonful of mashed and chicken. I would of enjoyed it more with less sauce. All in all I ate the whole thing! ( no carrots)🥕 He said steak was good.
I eat here about once a week. The food is always fantastic. The wine selection is really great. I love this place so much.
Great food, ambience, and service. No notes.
We sat at the bar for our meal, and had the lunch fish and chips, and the Bronzino. Both were good, and so was my margarita and the great service from the bar tender who also had good convo for us. I would go again, and bring some quarters for street parking.
I was there with friends on Christmas Eve. I know...not the best timing. We were warmly greeted upon entering and immediately shown to our table. In spite of the place being completely full, staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. The food was extraordinary! I had Black Cod in an Asian sauce with wakami and snow peas. I was in heaven! Dessert was Key Lime Pie which was the perfect end to a lovely evening. I highly recommend Ship to Shore.
A wonderful restaurant with a truly great menu. We were pleasantly surprised by both the atmosphere and the level of service. Our waiter, Luke, was incredibly professional, attentive, and polite, which made the experience even better. The food arrived quickly, and everything was absolutely delicious. The tuna appetizer is to die for, and the mussels were excellent as well. We enjoyed every bite and will definitely be back.
We reserved a table for 3 for Thanksgiving. The butternut squash bisque was delicious. The individual plate of meat they put in front of me was humongous! All the sides and dessert was very good as well. I had leftovers that lasted me another 2 days.
A favorite eating spot for our family! I called ahead for reservations and arrangements to bring in a birthday cake complete with candles. The staff was extremely helpful and efficient! They brought out the cake before I could even get to remind them! A fun place to eat! Staff is awesome! Food is kind of pub style but every taste will be accommodated!

Helena took my reservation on the phone and was very nice. I was on the 1st date after my divorce. Our server was so warm & welcoming 🙏 We were allowed to relax and take our time which I really appreciated. All of my food was Delicious and we enjoyed ourselves completely. Sadly, my efforts including flowers 💐 did not resonate with my date. But, I will be back , next time I will need a table for one !! To all the staff & Kitchen staff & Chef at Ship to Shore, Bravo
My goodness, what a friendly place. Jordon, our waitress, was terrific, so we went with her recommendation. The food was spot on, and the atmosphere was comfortable. We sat in the front with a small hole in the window. It's worth the drive. Don't waste your time at some of the restaurants in town. The harbor area is beautiful.
Wait staff were all smiles, knew the menu, and gave great suggestions. We had the grilled salmon and flat iron steak, crème brûlée, and almond tart. We scraped all the dishes, so delicious. Our view was just beautiful. 200 feet away is the water, with ferries passing, and a bridge.
Great price & quality. Big portion Food is amazing. I got a set of a burger (side of fries or salad) & a glass of wine for only $20! I didn't expected that the burger would be this big. 🐶Dog friendly (outside seats). They provided our dog iced water too! Nice staffs. Outdoor seating is on the street. So, there was smoke from the cars and cigarettes. We would definitely come back!
Last night on Eastcoast. Want to have a nice dinner but don’t want to break my wallet. Randomly pick this restaurant without reservation. Luckily we went early was able to get a table. Everything was so delicious, from starter, bread 🥖, main course to desert. The server was very polite and attentive. Nice atmosphere. He said the bread was from the award winning bakery up the street. So good. The bridge is closed for repair. So the road around is kind of crazy. Plus raining. Otherwise, I don’t mind sitting outside
I thought most of the food was good not great, with the exception of foie gras which was so deliciously succulent. Everything came out very fast although it might have been because it was late and we were the last customers. Friendly waiters. Solid seafood spot. The highlight was definitely their drinks — tried 2 random ones and both were very well balanced and went down in a blink.
This was a very disappointing lunch. The food was meh. The service equally so. An adjacent table received bread to start although we did not. My beet salad, to which I added grilled shrimp, was OK. The shrimp were small, but the additional cost to add them was big; the salad with shrimp was $35. Ridiculous. My husband thought that the chicken in his sandwich was sub par. I don't understand all the positive reviews. We had creme brulee for dessert, which was fine. Our total bill for two, including tip, was $124 for lunch. For that price, everything should have been better.
We dined outside and that was probably the best part of the experience, unfortunately. We order the strip with lobster tail. Strip was ok, edible but not impressive. Lobster was lacking flavor. Disappointing to say the least. On the plus side, amazing location and outdoor seating is pleasant.
