Baja Grill La Mirada Reviews
Got a Classic Burrito with chicken and steak. Son got his dry, I got mine wet with red sauce. We were both satisfied with the flavors, textures and size. The burritos easily feed two people. We each took home half our burritos. So good. Tortilla chips were fine, but the salsa was fantastic. Good spice and flavor.
Crunchy shrimp tacos were incredible. Shrimp was crispy but not burnt, and had no heavy oil flavor. The sauce was *chefs kiss* husband had chicken enchiladas with spicy green sauce. Such diverse flavors between the two meals! We'll be back for sure!
Try the Poblano chicken tacos! Taco Tuesday deals. Delicious menu! Always great service and nice, clean atmosphere, they have a nice patio and it’s next door to the AMC theater, perfect for a dinner and movie night out. My family and I have loved every dish we’ve tried, they have a nice selection of beers and I think a full bar! The owner is there managing pretty often and seems like a very kind and knowledgeable guy. He’s done a great job with Cabo Taco. If he ever moves/ expands to a bigger location I would absolutely follow. Big fan of this restaurant!!!
Cabo Taco Baja Grill serves great fresh tasty food! There were four of us that had dinner here before we went to the La Mirada Theater. Between the four of us, we at the pozole, chili verde burrito, beer battered tacos (my favorite), and the chicken taco combo plate. The servings are generous and the service is genuine! It gets very busy here, but worth the wait. There's lots of parking and it's walking distance to the LM Theater. Bon apetito!
Went here with my mother and a friend, I had gotten a combo meal of an enchilada and beer Battered Fish taco. The Taco was pretty flavorful but the enchilada was greasy, the hot sauce could've been better and the beans were fine. Their tortilla chips were tasty.
The food is really good and the service is even better. The current management and staff make us feel as if we are the only customers even when the restaurant is full.
1st time here. We highly recommend. Came for Benton school fundraiser. Enjoyed our meal and dessert. Guacamole is also delicious.
Great service! Delicious food and best of all they follow all current guidelines! Had a Wonderful time!

Family owned Mexican food restaurant. Never fails to get a good meal here. Waitresses are very punctual and friendly. Also plays sporting events on several screens.
A lot of the times when you go out to restaurants you don't know what kind of service you're going to get so it's almost like a hit and miss. This place is a nice gem that I will definitely be coming back because the service from the managers the owners and the servers was amazing. The food was really yummy, got refills without asking our server was amazing!! My girls had the flautas in the quesadillas and they finished it all. I had the fish and shrimp tacos same as my wife and they were yummy.
More people need to hear about and come to this spot. Small, family owned spot with delicious fresh food and friendly service. Been there many times and enjoy it each time
I go to Baja Grill once a week. The place has excellent tasting food with a variety of Mexican style choices along with new beers on tap each week. The servers are polite and are quick to acknowledge you the minute you are started with free chips and salsa. I try to get there before 5pm as they can get busy, but regardless of how busy they are your food gets served hot and faster than any other place I've been. They have a nice little bar top, if that's where you like to sit, along with both booth and table sitting. There is a patio that offers outdoor sitting as well. Several flat screen tvs throughout the venue which usually has sports on and some good music playing giving the place a good Baja Mexico vibe. Definitely check it out next time you are looking to eat out and enjoy yourself.
Always good food and service. Been coming here for years. Family favorite!

This place is at the other end of businesses from the LA Mirada Theatre. The chips and salsa are made fresh daily. I got the ribeye steak and it was delicious 😋.
Good place for Mexican fare. Good selection of brews. Good menu items with unique ingredients. Plenty of lot parking. Need to hire more staff. Our waitress was overworked and forgot some things. Our booth was without utensils. Friday night 6:30pm.

There were only a few others when we visited. Service was helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was nice and seemed to be well suited for a game night or group. The only drawback was the food. The highlight from the group would be the Mole. It's was good. Everything else was lacking in flavor and heat. This stared with the salsa served with chips. Just ok. This goes for the guacamole also. The beans (refried) are usually a great base to add on. These were just bland. The biggest disappointment is that it felt light it would be good to very good if they just seasoned it more. We may stop again if in the are and try a few other dishes. (I'm a big fan of Pozole, so I'm willing to risk it.)
An ok Mexican themed pub and grill in La Mirada. The restaurant is spacious with good seating. The service was five star. The waiters were super friendly and did not hesitate to offer samplers for selecting the beer on thr tap. They have a decent but limited selection of beers on the tap. I was very impressed with the service. The issue was the food. It did not relate at all with Mexican cuisine both in terms of flavor and taste. The portions were good but the cooking was average, so 3 stars.

Honestly just kind of mid Mexican food. It's in a convenient place next to the theater but I will not be coming here just to eat this.
I ordered the camarone enchiladas. The shrimp was under cooked and entire meal was luke warm. The, I guess you could call it "green sauce" was more like pesto. Our server seemed less than happy to be working. She acted so put out that she had to get us menus bc we didn't want to have to scan the wall icon to our phones. She delivered all our plates practically on the other side of the table so we had to pull them closer to us. She finally forced herself to be pleasant when she overheard that we were not going to tip her. It was obvious that we were her last customers bc she couldn't wait to flip the "closed" sign on the door (1/2 hr early). The only thing good was the chips and salsa.

I came to this restaurant specifically to try their carne asada plate. My daughter, who wasn't hungry for the same food, got some sushi from the place next door and came back to sit with me while I waited for my order. About 20 minutes passed--my daughter had almost finished her sushi, and I still hadn't received my food--when the male owner suddenly came over, took her empty plastic sushi bag without saying a word, then came back and threw a sauce packet at the table, followed by a napkin in the same rude, aggressive way. Not a single word of explanation. His behavior was completely uncalled for. I felt disrespected and uncomfortable, so I asked the waitress to cancel my order, which she did. Later, the female owner came over and apologized, explaining that food from other restaurants isn't allowed due to health department rules and that it could cost them points. I understood the policy, and I told her that I would have respected it had it been communicated politely. But the way the male owner handled the situation was unacceptable. I left without eating and will never return. No one deserves to be treated like that, especially when a simple explanation could've resolved everything.
Didn’t even get to order food because they were inpatient. We have kids and we brought food for them and they refused to give us service because the kids had their own food. Sorry but it’s sad that they couldn’t make small exceptions especially for kids. Horrible service!!
