If I could give Norma a 6 I would. I suffer from severe food allergies and they could not have handled them better. From answering any question I had, to suggestions options of their own, they made me feel safe and at low risk of an allergic reaction. I got the plain margarita pizza, it was very tasty, warm and cleary cooked to perfection. Finally, the atmosphere was so cosy, my only issue would be the music was a tad loud. Otherwise it felt warm, homely, and authentic! Thank you Norma! I will definitely be back!

Always great food. Delicious pizza and pasta. I went on a slow day due to a sports event, and everyone was very friendly and attentive.

First time here. We were escaping some nasty weather (winter 2026, iykyk) had an amazing server who was so friendly! My partner and I came in at an odd time. Too late for lunch, too early for dinner, but we were glad the restaurant was open and didn't have to wait for a table. Fantastic food. Got pasta, a salad, and pizza, everything super fresh. Seems like a menu where you can't go wrong! Extremely cozy space. Felt very at home. Not to be that girl, but I was reminded of my semester abroad in Italy with the homey dining space and warmth of fellow patrons and staff. I'd be delighted to return to this spot next time I'm in NYC.

Great Italian Restaurant. We had a waiting time of 15 mins for group of 3 and for 2 people it is relatively faster. The Pizza felt so fresh with Tomatoes and Cheese. Also tried Schrimp Pasta that was delicious as well. The Staff were nice and friendly and ambience is perfect for a cozy dinner.

We stopped by for a quick bite and were delighted to discover this little gem while walking around the area. The food is delicious, the Sicilian vibes abound in warmth, and the service was just on point. Loved the combination of four cheeses on the thin-crust pizza, the bruschetta was delicious, the arugula salad mouth-watering, and the Prosecco hit the spot! Definitely coming back when around!

My family and I didn’t plan well for dinner and randomly stumbled upon Norma and it was the best experience. My son still talks about the pizza and now compares every pizza to it, nothing has come close. The service was friendly and food came fast. The drinks were amazing as well. I wish I lived closer!

What a find. Loved the food, setting and service. Pesto Trapanese pasta was delicious and the coffee Italian and strong just as I like it.

This place has the best pizza I've ever had in my life. The crust is thinner but airy and light and the red sauce is to die for! If you're looking for authentic Sicilian food, definitely visit this place. It's a cute place for date night in the evening or casual eating during the day. Try the Bruschetta and the Prosciutto pizza!!

From the moment we walked in, this Sicilian gem felt like a little slice of the Mediterranean. The ambiance was warm and rustic, with soft lighting, The food was incredible! The arancini were perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy and flavorful within. The lasagna was a standout! But what truly elevated our evening was the service, especially our waitress, Alessa (I hope I’m spelling that right!). She was absolutely wonderful. Attentive, genuinely knowledgeable about the menu, and full of great wine recommendations. Her warmth and charm made us feel like welcome guests rather than just customers. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly loves what they do, and she brought an extra layer of hospitality that made our dinner unforgettable. We’ll absolutely be back! not just for the amazing food, but for the heart and soul this place puts into every detail.

Norma is definitely my favourite pizza spot in town! The food is amazing and the staff is always welcoming and nice. My husband and I are regulars here and keep coming back not only for the delicious pizza but also because the team makes every visit special. Alessia is always incredibly kind, professional and attentive — she makes us feel at home every time. We also love Davide, who’s always friendly and warm. If you want real Italian pizza and great vibes, Norma is the spot! 😎

Love this place — the pizza is one of my favorites in NYC for wood fired pizza. Get the octopus appetizer. The pasta is also delish — we got the gnocchi but the goat cheese w lamb ragu one is also delish.

AMAZING! The food was delicious! I had the gnocchi bolognese and it was probably the best gnocchi I have ever had! The sauce was delicious and I tried several of the other dishes at my table and they were all so good!

If you are to get one thing here get the mortadella pizza. I don’t eat pork so I substituted with beef. Still 10/10 godly. 1st pic is beef version. 2nd pic is pork version. They got other good items but honestly nothing is nearly as good as that pizza.

Just magical. Service is also nice; they can manage a wine suggestion for a mixed set of dishes beautifully.

Quality Italian food, the lasagna was perfectly cooked and with several layers of pasta, béchamel and sauce. Very nice selection of wine from Italy. Next time I’d like to try the gnocchi dish, as we saw several people enjoying it. The waitress was patient with my elderly parents, thank you !

Wow! What an amazing little spot. We arrived about 10 minutes after opening on a Sunday and it quickly filled up. It is so cute inside and a well thought out space but the food is definitely the star here. We were served fresh crusty bread with olive oil immediately after sitting down. We started with an arugula salad with pears which was well seasoned and heaping in fresh Parmesan cheese. I had the lasagna which literally melts in your mouth, the pasta is paper thin and layered in a delicious ragu. My husband has the pasta trapanese pesto. The pasta noodles were cooked all dente and the sauce was fresh and light. Every single thing we had was a 10/10. Will def be back!

Really cosy setting, great service and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the swordfish pasta with a tomato sauce, almonds and eggplant. Hands down one of the better pasta dishes I've ever eaten. If you're in the area and want Italian, this is a must go. Pricing very decent for being New York City as well.

Amazing dinner. I was traveling solo and arrived for an early dinner. They greeted me warmly and despite being a party of 1, they seated me at a great table and not relegated to the bar. Everything was delicious and the service was great. The gnocchi was perfect. So good!

Cute neighborhood spot for regional Sicilian cuisine. Tasted authentic. The pizza looked outstanding but we went with arincini and pasta with a ragu with eggplant and peas. Great pasta. We left happy.

So far, my favorite Italian restaurant in this area. Comfortable dining experience with a cozy seating and friendly staff. I like the their pizza (I forgot the name, but we ordered a veggie pizza with eggplant on it) more than other famous pizza restaurants. On the flip side, their famous rice ball was not very impressive to me, although it tasted good. Generally, I will definitely come again!

I love service here: polite and friendly, fast. I ordered Gnocchi with beef. Gnocchi was perfect cooked. I can't say that this experiment with to add beef to this dish was lucky. I prefer more a classic Gnocchi. My rate is 4 from 5. The wine was smooth and tasty. There are many tables, but they are located close to each other. I want more private (especially in winter time, because you have to look for a place for your voluminous jacket). It would be nice to have a separate hanger for such cases. The overall rate is 5 from 5. Thanks

Enjoyed a lot in Norma. Good Pizza and Pasta and the service with the Italian staff member was just excellent. The restaurant feels and taste authentic and is very charming. The food was prepared super fast and was just on point, the Pizza dough is excellent. This is a gem in NY and the prices are pretty good. Totally recommend it.

We went in during dinner time and grabbed a table immediately, the wine we got was very good. Their bread starter and the eggplant crostini was amazing. However the C’antrovas pasta and the margaritas pizza was alright

1 star for the really great food but I do need to leave a poor review for the way they packaged our food to go. They put hot soup in a box and it ended up seeping through on our walk home and all of the food was spoiled from dropping on the floor and being soiled from the broth . This really should not have happened and it's a shame considering we had a lot of left overs .
