This place was recently renovated. The theme use to be 1950s Route 66. However, its been changed it's styled like most other McDonald's now a days with dark woods and sleek metal and warm tones. The customer service here was fantastic. Everyone was super nice and helpful. As welp as funny and made us feel very comfortable. The only problem with dinning in was that it was rainy earlier that day and had stopped. The temperature was very chilly compared to typical California weather, im not sure if the door was broken. But they did not close it. And so it was very cold inside despite them having a heater on to try to warm patron's
Im not a McDonald person. Took my grandbabies. They enjoyed it. I think mostly due to the playland. We were there for a while. They had dinner, snack then dessert.
The McDonalds In La Verne Has Great Customer Service. There Are A Lot Of Food And Amenities Provided At This Location Because Of Its Convenience And Purpose. I Must Say That This Is A Bustling McDonalds All The Time, And It Gets Crowded At Peak Times. In This Case, This Is A Thriving McDonalds Location. Overall, The Service At This McDonalds Is Awesome And Is Recommended
Organized fast service at this location. You don't get that kind of service unless there's good management in place. It's just too bad mcd food in general sucks. I use to like it but it all taste pretty nasty now. Only went there cause a guest with us wanted some. But for those that don't know or can't remember what it use to taste like, it's a satisfying location. It can crowded but they get u through as fast as they can
Overall a good place to visit, a lot more packed than I remember. My biggest gripe is the parking situation they have parking attendants that will allow a certain amount of cars through otherwise they will send you back to a huge loop, it happened to me three times in a row and ended parking in Afghanistan ,Not to mention parking was 30 dollars next to a camel.
Stopped on my way home to grab a Carmel Latte and a Coke. Everything was perfect. Good service and the Staff was very friendly.

They messed up my order and fixed it. Mistakes happen, it's what was done after the fact that counts. Owner called me and made things right. She was genuinely trying to make up for it. Overall the place is solid.

There was a huge problem with DoorDash. According to the Dasher They were given the wrong order, I know this to not be true as they brought a Drink tray with several ice cream, sundaes . I have ordered from McDonald’s with doordash more than a dozen times and it always comes in a sealed bag . After trying contact DoorDash Which was a fiasco , I decided I would drive over to get “ Satisfaction “ and the order hadn’t even been picked up. Apparently the Dasher grabbed Someone else’s order , I would like to mention that when I walked in, DoorDash was talking to Maddie, and she was explaining to them that the order hadn’t even been picked up yet. Seems there’s a lot of confusion with DoorDash . I don’t know what Maddie’s position is there, but she handled everything professionally and had my order remade fresh ! Although it was not McDonald’s fault that DoorDash is incompetent, Maddie made sure that I was takin care of . Unfortunately, Until DoorDash contact me, I will not be using their service. If Maddie is not a manager, she should be !!
I like going here because the playground is big and nice for my kids. The sliding door that keeps them in the play area never works. But I like that it has a bathroom with changing pad for the kids. The food is the same as always. They do bring your food to the table and anything else you need.
They're very cool and understanding I was in a situation where I stayed at the gym too long add chuze fitness across the street from this location I didn't realize the time got away from me and so I missed the dining room hours by like 5 minutes 10:15 and so I called and I asked the lady that answer the phone if I could get a hot water my car the longer story so I'm kind of tracking it right now and it would be useful to have a hot water filter but Maddie was an All-Star came through was concerned with my car situation more than friendly I give her all the stars 🤩💗 thanks so much Maddie good things will come your way 🥰

Great location. Super busy for lunch time, but has a great play place with lots of seating for parents. Staffed well. Will bring your order to your table, both in store or online ordering.
I left a horrible review.....the manager/owner here is incredibly rude. Awful. HOWEVER! Food was very fresh and delicious! It really was great ;) Except for, like I said, "owner"????? Doesn't matter if the food is good. What a bummer, this could be great for a fast food place. But nope.... Thumbs down 😞
Early in the morning this place is quiet and clean. The play place is nearly empty and my son loves that he can run through the play place freely. The service is friendly and fast. I received a warm welcome when entering and my food was brought to the table with a smile.
The drive thru line appears long but moves quickly. However they just have you move to the front of the building. I asked which number and they said any where which would later add confusion to the person bringing the food out.
I go here so the kids can play since it is dark so early now. The food is always good and usually the service is great, but i think they need more employees, when the drive thru line is super long the customers inside seem to get left hanging going off my last few visits. But this mcdonalds all in all is great i will always come here with my kids.
It was alright, once I ordered my food, it arrived quickly (Might be due to me ordering a small meal). The place was clean and the food was somewhat inexpensive, not much to complain about.
First off, My review of this McDonald’s is solely based on service as I’m not a huge fan personally of their food. This particular McDonald’s seems to have their service tightened up compared to other restaurants in the area. The employees seem friendlier then others in the local area. They definitely have the fast food game locked in and for that I feel they deserve four stars. If you like McDonald’s then I’d recommend this one in particular. Customers seem friendly and the line always seems to move. Happy eating friends!
We always order our burgers and fries "fresh" so they are hot off the grill and out of the fryer. They actually aren't that bad when they are piping hot and haven't been sitting for a few minutes. Try it next time!
I've given higher ratings before for this store, but I'm guessing they weren't having a good night. We went thru the drive-thru and had to wait in the waiting area. The order had the wrong size fry. He was going to bring the correct size. After about 10 minutes waiting, I went inside. The young lady that helped me was just perfect. Took care of it right away, and pleasant. Thank you! (She's heading for good things in the future. You just know.)
Cashier was pretty slow and not quite sure of what she was doing. The food was okay but I did not get what I originally wanted as the prices have gone up and are too much in my opinion. A plain Quarter Pounder was $5.49. If I'm going to pay that much I'm going somewhere where the food is cooked fresh when I order and not sitting in a steamer tray. I ended up just getting a regular hamburger to eat something and get out of there as a few homeless had entered, and I was no longer comfortable with all of their belongings and the odor that came along with it. Unfortunately if this trend continues McDonald's is going to price themselves out of business, in my opinion you are not getting value for the money anymore.
Enjoyable....no line...it took WAY TOO LONG so i had to take the initiative and Then the look on her face said it all...fyi....she was not busy...she was just talking to another employee. It was obvious that she knowingly was aware of what she was doing...who knows how long i would of waited , had i waited on her..they do still pay employees, right??? So i dont see what her problem was.
It's a McDonald's, it's what you expect in food. I only went there to take my granddaughter to the play ground. She had fun with the other kids and really enjoyed herself. Place was clean and safe. You have to order your food on a screen with no interaction with anyone. I don't like that
Not all staff are friendly. I would suggest to have a workshop on working values and sales and customers relationships. Clients, customers or members are the bread and butter of the employees and employer. Food . Since this is America and mix race. why not to have a fried chicken with roll or smash potato or rice like other country . Just wondering because fried chicken is very american. This McDonald’s in La Verne is the best in the area, even with four others closer to me. It’s consistently cleaner, the service is friendlier, and the food quality is better. Orders are usually accurate, and the fries tend to be fresh. The drive-thru can get busy, but it moves efficiently. The interior is well-maintained, making it a decent spot to sit and eat. It’s not perfect—sometimes mobile orders take a bit longer—but overall, it’s worth the extra drive for a better experience.
Miss Vanessa was attendant, quick, and friendly. Highly reactive to my entrance and presence and very much remembered to hustle and grabbing three things at once For other customers, still managed to run a reminder call for my request. She showed upstanding skills Consolidating her task list, while handling a busy situation with customer service, kindness and still managed to engage with friendly conversation. I find her to be in exquisite worker here with upper management written all over her. Keep up the good work Vanessa! it shows 🙏🏼💯🏆🫸🏼🔥🫷🏼
This place is decent at best. Yes, I know they tend to mess up orders sometimes but I know this happens because they were understaffed back then but I am not so sure now. They also do not make Caramel Frappe's properly sometimes. You will rarely get a hot and fresh McChicken from this place. This place is only good if you desperately need a quick eat and need to go fast. If you want real quality food head on down to the San Dimas McDonald's headed on Arrow Highway. They actually make premium quality food with more freshness and actually care about their customers more than La Verne. I'm simply speaking the truth here. Someone has to eventually fix this place up. Also, to those who complain over wait time when placing a mobile order, they only start making the order once you tell them the code. This is true for a lot of McDonald's and some days there could be a lot of customers which is why you have to wait in the parking lot.

After a 15+ min wait in drive thru they said cash only which was ok with me but I ordered 2 large unsweetened iced teas and got sweet tea instead. Had to go inside where the person barely listened and apparently did not hear me when I said 1 was with no ice; got unsweetened tea but both with ice.
Been to this location several times for dinner and dessert. Dinner has been fine. However, their McFlurry machine is always broken and they take the order anyway. Multiple times they given me sod serve with toppings on top. Not a McFlurry. Don’t bother getting one there. Just get soft serve and save $2…on the other hand, the line moves pretty quickly and they otherwise have gotten my order right.
This day they got the order right. This is a neighborhood fast food and they have some good wait staff, but then they have others who don't represent well. Can make a lot of order mistakes. Still showing egg white delight with white cheese on menu board, do not serve white chees for some time, need to pay attention to their menu board and make corrections as needed.
I guess my app sent the store a receipt that I wanted I store pickup, even though I actually picked curbside pickup. Tech has glitches I get it, but their customer service was bad about it. Waited 7 min for someone to take my order, they didn’t so I used their kiosk. Gave me a tent number and said “table service, please place tent on table and relax. Your delicious food it’s on it’s way” 15 min later they called out our table number. Ok no biggie. It was set ‘to go’ when I’d ordered ‘for here’. I noticed our drinks were missing, tried flagging them down, but no one seemed to want to turn around. Took another 4 min. Once at our table I noticed there was no sauce or ketchup, sent my son to ask. He waited another 4 min, decided I had to go since they were probably ignoring him since he’s a kid, I waited another 3 min till someone finally turned around. Food was delicious but service was extremely slow. Took more than 30 min to finally eat.
I haven't gone to this place recently but since time is changing I wish it can be as before with the jukebox, mood setting lights, huge space, sturdy tables with plaques and photographs from the 50s-90s plastered all over the walls. Last time I went was the mid 2000s. It was so beautiful. Now it looks like the setting isn't right with the new and old. On Route 66 this place shouldn't had changed. It was perfect how it was. The renovation shouldn't had happened. It was like a time capsule.
It was a to go order. When we got home, one of the items wasn't there. We don't live in La Verne, but we were passing by. There was no way that we were going to go back to get what was missing. You should have someone double checking the orders, to make sure that they're correct. Definitely not going back.
Should I be honest or I get myself in trouble? Well if I don't open my mouth that would make me a coward, that is not an American way. Well, the closing time is inconsistent ( the drive thru) . A recent month ago , I tried to ordered online, like 12 midnight, all orders were not available. Then I saw a staff went back to a store like 1 am just to close the store. That is not fair for leaving the store or taking a break for an hour. I'm sure he was paid. For leaving the store and placing a cone on drive thru,? Why he have to back at 1 am . I saw this because I was in a parking lot from 11pm to 2 am. This beside talking about what is drive thru mean. When you at work, from wherever or whatever company you were considered that as your Family as where your money came from for you to have everyday expenses. And treat your customers , clients or members as your bread and butter so treat them with respect whether they are right or wrong! Comphrende? It's a second language LOL! And we as an employee we are the bread and butter of the company. So again treat your work as a family. Especially that includes, when you're wearing a uniform it signifies where you work. So place a dignity on that uniform . Gracias !

No point in placing an order on the app and going through the drive thru, they won't have your food ready. They make sure their drive thru times are good by having you drive around and park. If you are in a hurry, def skip this location.

Bathroom was below my expectations of a McDonald's, especially given the locked door entrance. The rest of the McDonald's was very clean, but the restroom area maybe was between service checks - floor was a bit wet. Hand dryers stopped frequently and needed to be restarted.

Went thru the dive thru and they got my order wrond I ordered a large drink and paid but I didnt realize until they gave me a drink at the window .I told them I ordered a large drink and they said they charged me for a meduim then I had to wait two minutes for my food after I got my drink just to find out my food sat there for one minute and a half because the person was serving the front also… serverve was horrible and had a huge line waiting plus one side of drive thru has been close for almost a week now. Every time I go to McDonald’s, I end up getting only half my order at the drive-thru and then have to sit in a reserved parking spot for about five minutes. By the time they bring the rest out, the food I already have is cold. What makes it worse is they assign me a parking number, but then hand the orders off to random cars anyway. It’s honestly ridiculous, especially when the service keeps getting worse while they’re asking for raises.
I usually drive through McDonalds and I do not go inside. Sunday evening/night I decided to bring my son, two goddaughters, and my friend. There were many employees who were nice. I believe this shift seemed to just be a bit hectic and the employees seemed to not have particular roles. I went into the area with the play pen for my son and EVERY single table was filled with leftover food. The ground was disgusting and I could not even sit until I asked for someone to wipe some tables down for us. This review is more so to encourage a bit of direction because all employees were nice, but whoever was in charge of the children’s play area was lacking extremely. The stores overall cleanliness is the reason I decided to even leave this review.

We were in the drive-thru line for over 20 minutes starting at 8:45 pm on Saturday night . It appeared that the employees were completely incompetent. We would have left if we weren't boxed in. This isn't the first time it took an unacceptable amount of time, but this was definitely the longest!
This is by far the worse fast food service I’ve ever gotten. waiting in line for 40 minutes and still missing half your order is ridiculous. Ordering off of door dash isn’t any better, chances are you’ll end up missing your entree and just getting your fries and drink while still paying the full price. Not only is the service horrible but the employees always have an attitude. I never rate places because I understand restaurants can have a hard time but after 2 years of constantly having to check my order and always having half my order missing I’m sick of it.
I've been here a few times while driving home at night, usually about 10pm. Everytime there was a really long line and a much too long wait. This last time was ridiculous. The line went almost to the driveway on Foothill when I got in it. I sat there for about 20 minutes and it didn't move a car's length the entire time. Not sure why this place is consistently bad at making fast food. Definitely needs new management.
Something's happened here recently - I've been coming to this McDonalds for awhile, pretty frequently, and they've usually done a great job with fulfilling any kind of order during lunch, drive-thru, curbside, or any other way ordering on the app. I wonder if their system has been tampered with or has a bug or something, because the last two or three times I've ordered on the app (and I've tried it for both curbside or drive-thru), the curbside order got sent to drive-thru, and the way I learned that was because the app didn't give me a place to check in for curbside and put in my space number. So I picked it up at the drive-thru where they knew the order name and number at the speaker, but nobody knew what the order was at either of the windows. So fast forward to today where I decide to forego ordering on the app at all and just try traditional drive-thru... Well, whoever took my order put in my chicken sandwich in as spicy rather than the regular deluxe... Whatever, wrong order-taking happens all the time. The guy at the payment window fixed it easy, no problem. I pull up to the second window, and I'm immediately told to pull around to the front even though there is no one behind me, and the drive thru queue is super empty. Nobody at the window gave me my drink nor my mcflurry. Now everybody is waiting for their food in the drive thru reserve parking spots, and the people bringing the food out don't know who it goes to because there are so many of us. When mine finally came, the guy only had the food. I asked him about the drink and mcflurry, and his response was "they didn't give it to you?" - as in they were supposed to give it to me at the window. He was a nice enough kid and went back in to go get it, he was pretty quick too. Kudos to him (and the payment window kid who fixed my order), but BOOOOOO on the management!!. What should have been 30-60 seconds at the window turned into 4-5 minutes in a parking spot and fixing a whole lot of confusion. I don't know what McDonalds La Verne has done to their "systems" (Drive-thru, app, ALL OF IT!!), but its been wrecked. Don't break something that is not broken. You used to be accurate, quick, and provided full service at the two windows you have, but somethings changed in the last few weeks, and its not for the better. Its pretty bad now, and I'm done with these guys. I'll drive to San Dimas now for my trouble. I'm not doing La Verne anymore, even if it's closer to work.

I didn't check the bag before leaving like an idiot, and they got my order wrong. All I wanted to do was to try the new spicy sweet chicken tenders and I got the plain tenders instead. How hard can it be?! It was NOT busy during my visit, either.
I just place an online order to pick it up at the counter, I had placed it at 12:45 PM at 1:02 I went to pick up and the cashier told me they did no have it, I show her receipt and it was the right location and everything, she call the manager and the manager said we canceled the order because you took 10 minutes to pick it up, after 10 minutes we cancelled the orders and you are going to get a refund in 72 hours, however in the app said they were making my order and it was not cancelled, and the manager just walked way in a rude manner without a reasonable explanation
Every time I ordered happy meal plain cheese burger it will never ever a plain cheese! They even put a sticker on each happy meals it says plain! But they never ever make it plain! Allll the time! I am tired of calling the manager. Also, today not just they messed up the happy meals they forgot my big mc sandwich! We even waited at the parking lot! I gave this place a lot of chances... It is so frustrating...
Horrible experience, today May 1st, 2022 I waited 40 mins in the drive thur. This is the second time I had a horrible experience. A lady got off her car and knocked on the door. According to the employee they were low staffed. Then close down! don't make the customers wait. This location is worst then the one on Garey/Arrow in Pomona.
The inside of this McDonalds actually looks really nice and classy. The service is terrible though, maybe the worst I've had at any McDonalds. I've only been here 1 time to be fair, but the 1 time I did come here, they only gave me half the food I ordered. Unfortunately, I only noticed when I got home because I was in a rush. How does that even happen though? That's one of the worst things a restaurant can do in my opinion. Messing up an order can be forgiven but ordering like $30 worth of food and only getting $15 of it leaves me with a terrible feeling.
They rebranded to say they are 24 hour open drive thru but 2 different times Ive have come to this location at 3 am and no service was given.
Worst McDonalds I have been too, ordered mobile pick up, get there and go through the app to notify staff which parking spot we parked at. Well 30min pass with no one coming out, wife goes in and the cashier says we gave that order out. So they gave our order out to some random person, proceeds to have attitude about it. Gets the order wrong in the end. Never again, if i was you i would avoid this location like the plague.
This place is absolutely horrible. There hasn’t been one time when my order has been made correctly. Last time was the last straw. Stop giving unsuccessful grown adults jobs that high school kids should have. If you’re over 25 working at McDonald’s you should be ashamed of yourself and not take it out on the customers that you are a failure. The audacity that they have when you go back to get your food made correctly as if you’re in the wrong is insane. No way I will ever come here again and I live in La Verne. Don’t waste your time and just goto the one in San Dimas
Saturday night 5/14, one lane to order and everyone in lines meal wasn't ready. We all had to park and wait. And wait and wait, my receipt time and our food to car time was 9 minutes. Our food as well as others was carried under the arm of the employee with many other bags. Absolutely no one cared and the lady who delivered our food while talking to her walked away. This isn't the first, not the second or third time this McD's has horrible service. I don't bother calling the number, they don't care and make excuses too. I guess if we don't patronize, we won't have the problem.
Staff is friendly but the service was horrible. Homeless guy and his dog came in and was just hanging out. Filling up his cup that her brought in with him along with all his belongings. No ketchup unless you ask at the counter. Tons of employees but not at the registers. Took forever to order as no one was up front. Food took even longer. It's sad to see our hometown McDonald's go down the drain. This used to be a good location. Not sure what happened.

I specifically ordered no onions or pickles and behold as soon as I got to the park the burger was littered in onions and pickles. I called them back because I wanted my burger remade and they hung up on me before saying anything. This happened 15 min ago. Can't count on them to do the simplest things. I want my burger remade!
It is my worst first and last experience. I don't wanna come here again. First of all, change the staff and Hire some new professional staff, they don't know how to behave to customer as well as they don't know value of the time. Few hours ago,I am standing at counter almost 30 minutes without any staff response. They didn't even tell me how much time order takes they just scold me and just said one word wait. I'll see one or two staff member is on phone and some chatting with each other. Instead to taking customer it's very shameful. It's my humble request to management, kindly take some action.
Waited in the drive thru for 35 minutes and when we finally got to the window to get our cold food, the lady with the braids was so rude, didn’t apologize for any inconvenience and walked away from the window without saying a word We didn’t even know if we had everything, I wasn’t gonna complain about the food being cold because there were like 10+ cars behind us, but that lady should not work in customer service. I understand they may have been short staffed , but at least acknowledge your guests
Drive thru always makes you wait in the parking lot in designated parking spot even if you order 2 items. This McDonald's is by far the worst in California.
Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Never seen so many cars in the drive thru reserved spots. Waited almost 30 minutes in our pick up spot and no one ever came out. We went in, got our food which they apparently still hadn’t made despite their app claiming that it had, and they STILL forgot something. Had to go back in again. The In N Out down the street is probably faster and certainly better quality food and customer service. Just go there or anywhere else instead
They missed my order but I was too far to go back that’s why I lost money😡

If you can go to another McD’s you probably should. We live between 2 and I regularly regret going to this one so if you have a choice, go to another location. When we order drive thru, 100% of the time we are asked to pull around and wait. Then the staff seems to rarely find us on the first guess since so many cars have to pull around. We have tried mobile orders and have waited 30 minutes for food both times we have tried.
The food was cold. I didn't get my sauces I asked for and they said that they put it in the bag. I didn't get napkins and my bread had a horrible appearance. It was damaged. I wish I could post a picture
Why do I have wait every single time I come to this store? It’s FAST FOOD. Waiting 15 minutes for two cheeseburgers and chicken strips is diabolical. I hope McDonald’s corporate sees all these reviews and does something about this store.
One of the worst McDonald’s I’ve visited—and unfortunately, it’s in my hometown. This location used to be well-kept, but now it’s just disappointing. Don’t be fooled by the snazzy computer kiosks; the restaurant is dirty and the service is painfully slow. I watched as they prepared orders one by one instead of using an assembly-line process like most other McDonald’s. No wonder the drive-thru line was so long. I only ordered dessert items, yet it still took forever. They made my wife’s sundae first, so by the time they finally brought everything to our table, it was already melted. The bathrooms were in such terrible condition that we immediately walked out upon entering. Between the slow service, poor cleanliness, and overall lack of care, this McDonald’s has really gone downhill.
Being a doordash driver this is the worst place ever for me to pick up a order to deliver . Yesterday i went in to pick up the order and the staff took more than 30 minutes to give me the order plus they act racist towards me . And later on they false reported me to doordash when it was them who completely made an unsafe and abusive enviroment. They dont care about doordashers and dont treat them with equality.
I almost always avoid going to this location by all means. I always get asked to park when I order through drive through and I always have to wait about 20 to 30 minutes while other cars get their food. Today again got parked after employee repeated order I paid got my receipt and parked. 30 minutes and they came out with wrong food I told them it wasn't mine and employee got attitude another short came oit trying to give attitude . Its their employees fault if he gave wrong receipt I still want mt order correct. I was upset said just give me what I ordered what he repeated she came out handed me a bag all pissed I said thank you she walked away. Now if you are the manager you lack being professional you came out ready to argue with me because your restaurant made a mistake um no You won't last!
Extremely disappointed and making a serious complaint. McDonald's food quality must be strictly adhered to. Food should not be sold to customers after a specified time. This is McDonald's global standard. At around 9 PM, the store wasn't busy at all. I asked the server for freshly fried spicy chicken burgers. Having worked at McDonald's before, I know that sometimes fried chicken cutlets are kept in warming cabinets for a long time, significantly affecting their taste and texture. I ordered two spicy chicken burgers. After waiting for the normal frying time, I received the two burgers. The first one was indeed freshly fried, and the taste and texture were excellent. However, when I took the food to my car and ate the second burger, I found that the chicken cutlet inside was cold and hard, clearly having been left out for over an hour. Therefore, I am filing a complaint against the store's quality management manager; he failed to properly train his employees. I have already filed a complaint on McDonald's official website and hope they can respond. Deceiving customers, playing tricks on them, and using expired or substandard food – I hope McDonald's can truly train its employees properly and stop tarnishing the brand's reputation.
This is just about the “Special edition“ Bacon Gold Deluxe chicken sandwich that my kids wanted try. It was one of the most terrible sandwiches I’ve ever tried. The patty texture felt like it had been sitting there long before I even arrived. lettuce and sauce amount was laughable. Bacon was hard even to bite. None of us liked it.
I deeply regret visiting this McDonald’s every single time. Waiting in a drive through for 30 minutes is ridiculous.
Place is a mad house at peak breakfast hours. And seems the team breaks down and starts running in circles heads down eyes closed. An elderly couple had been sitting for over 30 min with receipt and table number on display. Not one employee has looked there way or called there number.
