Patio andalúz La Zubia Reviews
Comida rica y abundante. Siempre lleno pero te buscan un hueco donde puedan.
Delicious daily homemade menus. A well-established and well-run place. Always a good choice.
A large group of us went for our annual family lunch, and everything was spectacular. The service was excellent and very fast, even though it was packed. A million thanks, highly recommended!
Generous portions, very friendly staff, spacious dining areas. Sitting on the terrace is the best; it doesn't feel overcrowded. The set menu is relatively inexpensive, but you can also order tapas, which are very tasty.
We spent the weekend in the village and the hotel receptionist recommended it. We went two nights in a row. Tapas were served with drinks. For food, there was a wide selection of meat and fish dishes. Half portions and full portions were available. The half portions were huge and of good quality (the tapas were delicious homemade food). Dishes included: scrambled eggs with baby eels and prawns, grilled squid, oven-baked ribs, and Iberian pork shoulder. Tapas included meat in sauce and meatballs in tomato sauce. Everything was delicious.
A good place to go for lunch. We didn't have a reservation, but there was room and they found us a table. The service and attention of the staff were excellent; the food was very good and well-prepared, and the amount of food is so abundant that it's impossible to leave hungry. It has a large terrace or patio with plenty of tables, and easy access to the restaurant. Parking is difficult, as you have to search the surrounding streets. The restrooms are clean, and payment can be made by card.
Very good food and lovely terrace.
This is a great restaurant for lunch, dinner, breakfast, and even coffee. The food is delicious, and the freshly baked bread is also delicious. We ordered a portion of migas (breadcrumbs) with fried anchovies and a slice of melon 🍈. They also served meatballs with tomato sauce 🍅 and homemade fries. The squid is actually squid, and we didn't like that at all. The poor man's potatoes were quite dry. It's still a good place, the food is good, but there's room for improvement. Also, as I said, we didn't find some of the food very good, like the "squid," which was squid, or the meatballs, which were also dry and a bit tasteless, but the food is good. Thank you for your attention, and here's another one of my reviews 😊.
Quality home made food. Reasonable price and quite a big patio to eat outside.
Nice food good stuff
The food is very tasty, the prices are fine but I didn't find the staff that friendly
The bar is located deep in La Zubia, so parking can be difficult. The tapas are more about quantity than quality, but they're not bad. They have a reasonably priced set menu with two courses plus dessert, and larger portions are also very reasonably priced. We ordered a portion of hake, meat in sauce, and calamari, and as we said, none of the dishes particularly stood out; in fact, they were quite heavy going. The waiter was polite, nothing special, and the place is very spacious. It also has a covered terrace that's always open for ventilation. They also offer delivery, which I honestly don't think we'll try.
We didn't like the food at all, to be honest... the migas were very watery, the salmorejo was watery, the meat in the sauce was poor quality, and the "papas a lo pobre" side dish didn't even have any peppers or onions... the dishes were very poorly presented.
