Great place for a morning latte and some breakfast! Highly recommend trying the sunrise flatbread … it’s my go to! All their syrups are made in house making them extra fresh! Matt and Ava ( the owners) are there a lot and truly make everyone feel like they are part of their Lola’s family! Highly recommend stopping by!

What a cute shop! They had food, coffee, and pastries. I love that they had vegan options. 💜 The lemon poppyseed loaf was BOMB, the coffee was delicious, and the staff was super nice. I would definitely come here again!

A local gem! We enjoyed our first visit immensely and will certainly go again. Friendly service, excellent food, indoor and outdoor seating. We loved Suzy's Icelandic and the egg & and turkey bacon sandwich. I wasn't a huge fan of the avocado toast. They have a small but eclectic beer selection. Plenty of coffee and tea options.

I absolutely love this place while visiting from out of town. The food was so fresh and tasty. Customer service was great. We went during breach. I had an egg and avocado sandwich and a coffee and my sister had tuna melt sandwich with tomato soup and a vanilla latte. We both loved our orders! There is indoors and outdoors seating.

Lox ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - favorite dish here Breakfast burrito ⭐⭐ - the eggs didn't taste that great, it's over cooked, which made it taste like vegan eggs almost? - the cheese is a little too synthetic tasting - the tortilla is interesting - the turkey bacon is a little too fatty - needs hot sauce, or something to make it more wet, bc it's kind of dry - would definitely not reorder Rose latte ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ - a little on the sweater side but good

Love the ambiance here, The owner is very friendly and willing to go above and beyond. I wish there were more Lola's. We are vegetarian and gluten-free. He helped us and figured it out! We had the breakfast pizza, not on menu, but OMG! Was so amazing! Best kept secret in Ladera!

It's been forever since my last visit, and was very happy that everything was just as delicious as I remember! Got their avocado toast with a poached egg, so good with crispy bread and just seasoned perfectly avocado!

Ordered the cappycino without the cinnamon. Really good coffee. Been to tons of coffee places and this one got the brew perfect. Cashier was very helpful with the coffee menu.

Highly recommend the breakfast burrito. It has flavors youve never tried in a burrito, but the flavors work well together. All while not giving you the groggy post breakfast burrito slump. Filling but light. Service is unbeatable, very friendly service from the couple that run the place. Price isnt even that far for a privately owned hip eatery. Make this place a weekly habit to make your week better.

Lola has the BEST avocado toasts of Orange County (and believe me I tried many trendy places). We are driving once a week from Laguna Beach to go there because it's sooooo good. The rustic bread is amazing, the thick layer of avocado, the little spices above it, and you get 3 bread slices which makes you really full. One more tip, ask for the Lox as well, it's amazing. One of my favorite places here.

K
Kahlil Crawford

Best coffeeshop in So. County IMO. Truly love this place - a class experience. Great for people-watching with a nice view of the foothills. Rangey staff - from seasoned culinary experts who can sell me out of my shirt to neurotic emo chicks who treat each transaction like an existential crisis. 😆 The rock 'n roll interior ain't bad, but not as cool as the fact that management had the foresight to brew fresh Intelligentsia - Chicago's own! ❤️🤍💙

Love love love their turmeric chai latte with oat milk. Best potato salad I’ve ever had (& it’s vegan)! Chicken curry is crazy good.

Great food however having to pay a 20% tip before I get the food or a chance to eat it is really strange. I guess in a strange country you have to fit in, but honestly, the food and service was not worth a 20% tip considering we were called back inside to fetch our drinks, they could not even bring them to our table with the food?

A
Andrew Martinez

The wait can be long, but is worth it. The food is excellent and fresh. The atmosphere is laid back and casual. Plan to sit and have a good conversation while waiting for your food. If you have an immediate hunger grab a blondie brownie at checkout.

First time here, they recommended the ego avo smash sandwich, which I ordered. Bomb!! Super delicious! I little pricey and for sure hipsterville, but staff was inviting and friendly. When in the area I'll be back, thank you for the yummy breakfast, just what I needed!

A cute café with healthy food options and good lattés. Indoor and outdoor seating, very friendly staff and fast service. I had the quinoa bowl with avo and chicken and it was yummy and filling. I would definitely come back here again.

The avocado toast is the best! After a little surgery I told my husband I wanted avo toast from Lola's! Called the restaurant and they had it ready to go ASAP! Better than ice cream!!! They Never disappoint!

D
Danielle Lobao

A lot of their food options contain bread (avocado toast, eggs and toast, sandwiches) so you have to modify a bit if you are avoiding carbs/bread... But if you can treat yourself... I have never been let down by anything I have had here. They have a ton of specialty lattes, like lavendar and green tea, and all different kinds of milk. Seating is somewhat community style, and there aren't really many outlets if you are looking to stay here for a significant amount of time to get work done, but it's a good start to your day or a nice mid-day place to go and take a break

Met the owner and the energy of this place is amazing. The staff is proficient and i can tell they have a standard of customer service that is prefessional and friendly (reminds me of chick fil a). They have an amazing lavender coffee, and thr coconut cake is balling! Its moist yet light and creamy.

Idk what happened to my original review but I love this place. It is a little on the pricey side but worth it once in awhile. Cozy place with lots of character. Upscale but not pretentious. The owner, Matt will probably be working the counter so be sure to tell him how much you love it too.

I planned to take a picture of my quinoa bowl but I completely destroyed it when it arrived. Again, Matthew and Ava have exceeded my expectations (ref. My yelp review). I always feel at home at Lola’s. Today, I made the mistake of ordering the wrong latte. Matthew noticed my sadness upon this realization and created a new delicious latte for me and brought it out to my table as a surprise. This place is truly the bees knees, you will be cared for and fed all of the most yummy delicious foods!!!

Best cafe in the O.C. and I’m a native! Grew up in Orange/Garden Grove, moved to South County in 1998 and lived in Newport Coast for 5 years so I’ve been to most of the best cafes in Newport, CDM, Laguna Beach and everything in between and nothing compares to Lola’s for the absolute freshest, healthiest options including organic coffees, amazing teas, incredible salads, best sandwiches (try the turkey club with nitrate free turkey and turkey bacon, avocado, cheese, fresh organic greens and tomatoes on the best rustic bread — you’ll think you died and woke up in Europe!). Finally, a cafe O.C. can be proud of. No more low quality ingredients and blasé food. I’m hesitant to rave too much because I’m not sure if I want the best kept secret out. If you live in Dana Point area, check out Maison Cafe on PCH, another hidden gem with delicious, fresh and healthy food.

My wife likes to try new places for dinner, so we came to Lola's Cafe for a change. What a wonderful experience we had, good food and great service. The menu has lots of different things to eat. I like desserts and they have some really good things for dessert. My wife was very happy that we stopped here for dinner. We both will be back again very soon. Highly recommend

We live in Ladera Ranch and this was our first time visiting Lola's. Met the owner Matthew who was very warm and friendly. It's a great little place with excellent and unique food choices. The house cold brew coffee is high-octane and delicious! A nice patio outside offers shaded seating. Highly recommend this local business!

Amazing food! They make their own syrups for their espresso drinks and you can tell, the honey vanilla latte was heavenly. Good vegan breakfast burrito, and normal breakfast burrito, too. Met the owner, Matthew, and he was so welcoming and kind. 10/10 would recommend :)

My college age son loves this place. I see why. My icelandic sandwich with lox, dill seasoned egg salad on artisan sourdough was delicious and original for South OC. He loved his breakfast burrito. My lavender coffee was too subtle for me, but the barista happily provided the extra lavender shots it needed. Pastry items were very fresh, unique and delicious. I had a mini citrus cake, gluten free which I can't wait to have again. Nice coffee cafe vibe with great outdoor seating. Looking forward to returning.

I love this place! It was really what Ladera needed. They serve high quality food that tastes great. They have a very interesting menu full of choices. The food is delicious, fresh and served quickly. I love the atmosphere. Matt (the owner) is really a quality person as is his wife. We have known them for years. You won't be disappointed.

This place is absolutely fabulous came here for a group meeting that was held for my work YMCA and love the food and the service. Then I came here with a friend and had absolutely the most delicious sandwich that I can’t recall what it was called but it was very good! And the owners of Lola’s café the most awesomeness people you’ll ever meet seriously they’re so nice and so great to their customers service is literally satisfaction. if you’re looking for a place to lounge around with some friends and get some coffee or drinks this is it .

First time for us to drop in and sample the breakfast menu. For those like us who haven't been there before. The food menu can be found at the counter, mounted to a clipboard, in a tin bucket. I got the lox and baguette. My wife the egg breakfast sandwich. Both we're served quickly and brought to our table. Our items were delicious. I enjoyed the lox better than sitting me of the selections we have back Easy. It was subtle and not fishy. The ice tea was also amazing. No sweetner required. There's parking in front of and off to the side of the cafe.

Had the absolute best experience here today! I spoke to Matthew at the front when I ordered. He was so friendly and kind. I was able to share I was a new mom and he was so excited for me. I ordered the La Vie en Ross Latte and the gluten friendly espresso cookie with buttercream inside! Everything was delicious. I was also able to try a slice of their gluten friendly cauliflower flatbread. It was to die for! I’ve been here before and had the Louis’ grilled cheese on GF bread and their avocado toast on GF bread. Love those too! I had such a lovely experience and it truly felt like I was at my little neighborhood community cafe. I used to live in a small town in Oregon and love having that experience again. I’ll be coming here lots more for my solo getaway outings!

I wanted to give a special shoutout to Lola’s staff and management for going above and beyond for me yesterday! I was in an extreme time pinch for lunch while on business travel and only had 10 minutes to spare and was hoping for a grab and go sandwich. It turns out they make the sandwiches fresh on demand which normally takes about 20 minutes. I was originally going to just suffer it out and not eat but the management/owner said they could accommodate me and get me in and out quickly. I said “heck yes let’s do it” and ordered the turkey club. It came out so quick and was probably the most delicious sandwich I have ever eaten at the same time as I scarfed it down running back to my car. The staff at Lola’s were my “saviors” of the day! (They’ll get the reference) Thank you so much again and I’ll definitely be back again when I’m in town.

I absolutely love love this restaurant! The owner is all hands on, making sure it's run properly and clean. Most of all, he has a few little things, not on the menu he suggests. One was a cauliflower flat bread breakfast. It was vegan and wonderful! We shared it, but it could be for a larger appetite. It's our 3rd time coming and we will return for sure.

It was my first time at Lola's and I absolutely loved it. Matthew (not sure if he is the owner) was the kindest and sweetest person ever. I couldn't make up my mind as to what to order. He recommended their gluten free vegan chocolate cake. I was not very excited about it. But let me tell you it was DELICIOUS. A must have, highly recommended. Not in million years would I have thought something vegan and gluten free could taste this good. My friends had the avocado toast and it looked amazing. Very fresh

Love this place. We went here out of convenience because we were at a Volleyball tournament walking distance. We got the Turkey Club Sandwich. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich (and the sweet pickles are super yummy), so much that she was thinking about and talking about the sandwich all week and asking when we can go again. The following Saturday we made a special trip over there just to get those sandwiches again. The co-owner is super nice as well as all the team members. The place is busy and everyone is working so hard and super friendly. The decor and vibe of the place is super fun too. A side note, the co-owner wears some fun vintage concert Tshirts. I also noticed they have a lot of GF baked goodies. This was a great find, will definitely be back regularly.

Small Cafe and Coffee shop with kind service, Vegan offerings and the feel of a team that takes pride in slinging caffeine. My construction friends would think it too fancy. My health nut yoga friends would think it was the greatest coffee shop ever. Enjoyed a Cappuccino while waiting for food. Took 20 minutes but they warned me they were backed up, so no surprise, which works for me. Found while at volleyball tournament at Open Gym Premier, Ladera. 5 minute walk from that building.

Recommend putting it in the maps description that the kitchen closes at 2:30. This is important information if your really hungry (and vegan), and spend your time coming here to find out that they arent serving cooked food. I If I wasn't vegan it would be easy to go next door and grab a bite but when you go out of your way because they have vegan items to find its closed then it's quite inconveniencing. I shoulda seen it on the menu but I just saw "closes at 5" on google maps and didnt think twice. They seemed friendly and the food seemed decent so I'm giving it a 4 star for now (whereas I had given it a 1 star earlier today when I was hangry). I'll update it when/if I try it. :D

Lola’s is a family favorite for my household. We come here all the time and I am continually impressed by the food they have it’s always top notch. The service is usually good but there are a few staff members that are kind of rude who could use some straightening up.

It was definitely an interesting take on breakfast food and coffee. It is very trendy and the food was of superb quality. It was all organic, cage-free, healthy, and delicious. I'm coming back to try a few more of their dishes.

Great food and exceptional coffee and tea. Everything is organic and generally local. I would characterize the good as near artisanal. However, the prices are commiserate with that level of quality. So if you are looking for a cheap lunch, this ain't it.

Try the French toast soufflé and the lavender latte. You can’t go wrong with the Turkey Sandwich at lunch either. They make their own pickles and they are awesome; it makes me want to try making my own at home.

Lola’s is a Ladera institution for coffee and a delicious fresh breakfast. My only feedback would be more comfortable outdoor decor. Changing from the metal chairs and tables could be a great differentiator.

s

Menu is diverse Food is good but $$ Coffee is directly from an espresso machine. Restroom was unusable. Some people are inconsiderate. A free parking lot south of the building. Service was understandably delayed due to the popularity. I saw wine and beer but we were there for breakfast. Overall, it's a nice place with a patio with quality food.

M
Marcia Vojtech

The food was of very good quality and was also very flavorful. I had the grilled cheese (add avocado and tomato) and tomato soup even though it was hot. My friend had the Lola's salad and said it was great. The produce looked fantastic. The food preparation was unexpectedly slow - unsure if they were taking orders online or from the phone as the in-store business did not seem to warrant the delay in service. Will still return and try something else tasty next time.

Dog-friendly cafe that has both indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast & brunch items, baked goods, coffees & teas available. I enjoyed my fresh green salad with goat cheese and beautiful watermelon radishes sliced paper thin. My pumpkin latte with oat milk was great too. Not too sweet!

First visit, will probably not return. I had the Italian Tuna salad sandwich, very dry. The tuna mix had very little moisture, the multi grain bread was dry, and then toasted, too. No mayo (mentioned on the menu) on the sandwich. The side pickles were very good. This place was a little too foo-foo for me. But, to their credit, they were busy.

Yes the food is pretty and all but the tastes are just blah... First of all everything is gluten free so things are just different. I guess we're just not those type of people lol. I ordered the egg and bacon sandwich which looked good when it got to the table after 20 minutes, but the egg whites were very runny which is an indication of undercooked egg. My wife ordered the avocado toast and again it looked pretty but the toast was cold and there was no bacon on it. We added bacon to it when we ordered it. When we asked about the bacon not being there, they actually said that they made a mistake and never charged us for it and they actually asked for a credit card to charge the bacon!!! Over all every thing was just ok nothing too exciting...

This place is so slow! I ordered sandwich and americano. I finished ate the sandwich and had to wait the coffee. Also, the egg salad sandwich was very plain. No taste!

The brewed coffee was good, I'll give them that. I also got a roast turkey club sandwich and a tabouli, which were under-seasoned and over priced. The tabouli seriously needed some salt. The club sandwich was a big nothing special. Definitely didn't justify the $13. The bread was meh. The bacon. Omg what was that? Either they make it days ahead of time or just totally peace out and buy it pre cooked. The cheese was translucent around the edges, like the cheese on a party platter thats been sitting out all day. Deli turkey meat. Seriously nothing special. I cant tell it apart from the turkey club I got last time I was at the airport.

This place is okay, the food is extremely overpriced but the lattes are worth the money. The people who work here are nice, however they’re very slow! Don’t come here if you have to be somewhere within an hour. The people that come here take super long to order. Even with to go orders they take longer than they say. Been here multiple times on different days and it’s always the same no matter how busy or not busy they are. Come here if you’re wealthy and have the whole day to do nothing, otherwise probably not worth it.

Coffee and food are average. Not bad but not great either. Nothing memorable. Biggest issue however is the wait time. I’ve waited there over half an hour for a cappuccino as well as for food. I won’t Got it there unless I have at least 45 minutes to grab coffee.

Drink prices aren't listed on the menu. Asked for the price for a 16oz latte, which is listed, and ordered that hot. Only received a 12oz drink and was told they don't do hot lattes in 16oz with no action taken to make it right. I won't be returning.

I feel robbed. I paid $5.50 to add chicken to my salad. This is what I got.

First time here. Waited 15 minutes for coffee. Regular Coffee. At a coffee place. It's 7:30 in the morning. Tried to buy the parfait but they were moldy when opened. They said they could make a fresh one but it's been over 15 minutes just sitting here. Just Got the new one and the fruit is old. Totally disappointed since I just moved here. They forgot to put the stuff in the coffee too. Oh, and this all cost $15. So bummed out.

I’m sorry, I don’t usually ever do “bad” reviews…. But we are traveling vegans, and their vegan breakfast burrito was a complete let down. 30mins of waiting, for a small, unfulfilling “wrap”….

I have given Lola’s many chances and they continually let me down. Took my mom here for her birthday and she ordered the Louis Grilled Cheese, which is supposed to have brie, jam, and sliced apples. She was given a plain grilled cheese. It also didn’t come with the soup as it was supposed to. This is not our first bad experience here either, everytime we go something is missing or a dish isn’t as listed or they don’t deliver.

Really bad breakfast. I don't recommend. Really nice workers. Everything was horrible and tasted like it was microwaved! The eggs, the turkey bacon the avocado toast AND THE EXPRESSO all of it was awful. We definable won't eat here again. Our tab for 2 people was 59 bucks.

My first and only experience at Lola's Cafe was as confusing as it was enjoyable. As soon as I walked into the quaint little establishment with random decorations strewn about, hot and stagnant air blasted my face. I wasn't too worried though, the ambiance was favorable despite not being able to smell any of the coffee or food I had heard they frequently boast about from others. It took a bit of a search to find the menus, which at the time were placed in a bucket, attached to clipboards, atop a counter off to the side of the disheveled pastry case. Being treated to the meal by my girlfriend who had a job interview that day, I ordered the Turkey Club with basil aioli substituted for the garlic aioli, and a honey vanilla latte to accompany it. Perusing the dining room after having ordered I was able to get a detailed set of observations concerning the establishment. One wall was covered in music memorabilia and directly next to it was a hodgepodge of local business promotions and placards. The next wall was a mix and match of random photography and paintings. On the final wall was a myriad of different rustic decorations combined with retail items available for purchase. It made me wonder who decided the layout, but was overall negligible compared to the uncomfortable feeling I got from the emptiness of the place at the time. When your rear end begins to get sore after almost an hour of waiting for your food, sitting on a hard wood bench and chugging three glasses of water in the sweltering heat, seeing your food sit in the window as employees of the establishment get served before you can be a bit perturbing. Compounding the issue was my wondering why there was only two other pairs of people within the restaurant at the time and a single man hammering away at his laptop. The only other people to walk in were denied food due to them closing the kitchen at the early time of 2:30 PM. Seemed strange, but understandable for a business in this area. When my food had finally arrived, after being inspected by Ava herself nonetheless, I was excited to dig in as the wait had built a burning hunger in my gut. I noticed a piece of meat I mistook for turkey sitting in a crease of the wooden board my sandwich was sitting atop, and to my horror it was tuna. I nearly regurgitated the three glasses of water I drank prior. Not letting this one mistake ruin the meal, I dared to bite into the sandwich and it turned out to be one of the most splendid sandwiches I have ever eaten. The coffee, which seems to be placed on some sort of pedestal, tasted so watered down I'd be afraid recommending this place for it at all. Nonetheless, I do recommend it on the grounds that when they are at the top of their game I am sure the food is absolutely delicious. I would find it morally reprehensible at this point, however, for myself to be spending my own money here until more has been done and that effort has been maintained much longer concerning the allegations of employee abuse around the establishment over the last three years. I have heard through the grapevine, though, that not only the kitchen's procedures have finally been given a chance to try new routines, but also that treatment of the staff is more appropriate. Only time will tell what is true between the surface presentation and what goes on behind the scenes. I hope to one day take this one star to five, because as I said earlier, the food is splendid.

This place used to be one of my favorite place for breakfast but lately, either the avocados are brown or greens are bad.. You never know what to expect.. Sometimes fresh, sometimes not! When I asked the owner how come my avocados were brown he told me it was from a oxidation and didn’t change my place..I eat avocado toast all the time in different places they never served me brown avocado toast.. I will take my business to somewhere else..

According to other reviewers, this place was good so we decided to give it a try. Big mistake. We hand an omelet and waffels/turkey bacon/fried egg breakfasts. The food was gross to say the least. The eggs and turkey bacon were literally like rubber and practically cold. They ran out of silverware so they offered plastic utensils (similar to what you would use while camping). We paid over $40 for food that was no better than “military grade”. Vets out there will know what I mean. Save your money and go elsewhere. This might be a decent place for a cup of coffee but that is it.

The staff not friendly at all. They didn't know how to say welcome you and smile. I believe robots would do better. Very very cheap for coffee. Very small cup for almost 4 dollars which they wouldn't even fill it up. One dollar for refill and they give you a few drops after they ask you too many questions in a cold rude ways. I didn't like it either. When I told my friends about it, they had the same opinion especially about being cheap and not friendly staff. I gave 20% tip which if I knew that cheap and rude they are, I wouldn't give a penny

# Claw and Order: Una Experiencia Gastronómica Destacada en Ladera Ranch

Claw and Order: Una Propuesta Culinaria Intrigante

Podría referirse a:

Claw and Order probablemente ofrecería:
