⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding experience from start to finish. The food at Diho Siam is absolutely exceptional — true compliments to the chef. Every dish is perfectly balanced, full of flavor, and prepared with real attention to detail. What truly elevates this place to another level, however, is the service. I spent over 10 years working as a head chef in Europe, including in high-end fine dining restaurants, and I can confidently say that the level of service here is something many establishments could learn from. Professional, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The quality of both the cuisine and the service deserves the highest recognition. Five stars without hesitation. Even expensive restaurants could take notes from this place. Highly recommended. Respect and compliments to the entire team.
Visited this place earlier this week with my family for dinner. The place was packed and was very lively. The service initially was a bit slow but once we placed the order, the food came pretty quick. We ordered fried rice and massaman curry and both were really delicious. The staff was not super friendly and there is room for improvement in this area. The restaurant has a good ambience and a really good variety of dishes to choose from. The curry portion was good enough for one person, but then the fried rice portion was huge and easily two people could eat. Ample parking available as they are located in a mall. Will surely visit again.
One of the best Thai foods I have ever had. The service was fast. The lunch portion was huge considering the price and it came with the most delicious sour and spicy soup. Can’t wait to go back

Service was friendly. Food was quick. Huge portions! Lots of sauce for the togo order. Fantastic shrimp wontons. Everything was above average. Will definitely be back. Thank guys!
I had the Kung Pao, it was delicous, with roasted peanuts and crunchy little cubicles of zuchiny, or some other goodness. So tasty, so great, and so differnet from loads of overrated places. And the owner: the kindest man of all.
Delicious food and the service is great. We love this place!
Been going here for years. Joe is so nice. I don't live in Mission Viejo anymore, but anytime I'm in town I make sure to get some awesome Thai food 😋
If you like Thai and Chinese food... just go! I normally get their fried rice (extra hot) with seafood combination. It's total comfort food and very reasonably priced.
They always have great food, highly recommend the Pad Woon Sen (Glass Noodles) and the Yellow Curry, those are two of our favorites.
The best Thai place ever!!!
Everything is cool !! The best tom um I’ve ever eaten
Reeeeaaaaally liked this place. The food was amazing! I will go back who knows when but, will def be back. I had the pumpkin curry with shrimp. I still crave it.
Reliably tasty Thai every time.
This is our favorite thai place!! They have amazing food and the staff is always friendly! This is definitely one of our top favorite restaurants to eat at as a family. We love all of their dishes, especially the spicy noodles, chicken yellow curry, chicken pad thai & chicken thai fried rice. You really can’t go wrong!
We LOVE Diho Siam. We frequent both locations near our house (crown Valley and La Paz). Never have we been disappointed. I am picky about my Thai food and this is it. If you are looking for GOOD (meaning exactly awesome) Thai food try this place and you will have to stop looking! ;) friendly ppl and good food!!
What a great experience!! It was not pleasant circumstance that brought us in for dinner, we walked out of Selma’s next door for incredibly poor service. Even though they were closing in 30mins, Diho Siame warmly welcomed us in, gave us beverages without even having to wait or ask and then cranked out amazing food! Everything was FRESH and flavorful, we had the house chicken and crying tiger, both exceeding our expectations. This business deserves your money (not Selma’s!) you will not be disappointed!
I can't wait to go back again! We love thai food and found this place on Google maps. Happy we found a new great restaurant to go. The food was great, price is right on and the staff was friendly. Our server volunteered to wash off my son's pacifier when it fell on the floor, so I didnt need to get up.
My favorite Asian restaurant in all of OC. Excellent food with a variety of dishes. Room for improvement - the phone does not stop ringing during the sitting time in the restaurant, very disturbing.
I've been going here for 13 years The quality of food and service has never taken a dip in that time. As long as they are around they will always be a staple in my culinary Rolodex -
Recently moved to Las Flores and this has become a weekly staple for our house. Wether taking out or dining in, this place always delivers delicious food. Out favorites are the Chicken Pad Thai, BBQ Pork Fried Rice, and the Orange Chicken. Great staff too, very friendly band hospitable. Thank you!
I’ve always enjoyed eating here and always order their House Special Chicken (New Year Chicken) - it’s crispy and sweet, and just outright delicious. The staff here are outstandingly nice and professional - thank you guys for your food service!
This is our favorite place to eat. Service is quick and food is awesome, rare combination of quality that you can find in a restaurant. We go at least once a month there and never had a problem with anything.
We've been going here for years and they have never failed to provide the best Thai food. We've been to many Thai restaurants in our travels and Diho is always the one we rate the others against. I highly recommend Diho Siam.
Great Thai and Chinese food! Awesome lunch specials, you get a ton of food. I always have leftovers to take home for a snack later in the evening. Yellow curry was delicious, as was the pad thai. Only request is that they had a pad woon sen lunch special. :) Otherwise, they are my go-to Thai restaurant in South County.
Awesome staff and delicious food. The drunken noodles were SO good!
Best Thai in OC Yellow chicken Curry And I love their beef chow fun I know it's not Thai but soooo good
My favorite Thai restaurant! Their food is so fresh and great quality. I highly recommend.
I don’t ever leave reviews but I need to leave a review for these guys, by far the best Thai food in oc not even close. Great people too
Truly delicious, we absolutely love this place! Our four year old asks for the pad see ewe with beef regularly. Amazing flavor, and great service!
Our family loves coming here for lunch, they have special lunch price and the servings are alot. Beef Satay and Pad Thai are our favorite. Salad is soo good too.
The staff here knows my husband and I and knows our order. They are friendly and hard working and their food is soooo good. I highly suggest the pan friend chicken rice noodles and the mango with sticky rice.
We love this place! Food is always delicious and the whole staff is so kind
Absolutely Delicious. Great Menu. Has things for everyone. Great value for what you get. This is my go to place to bring dinner for mixed aged family group. I let them do the cooking. Everything has been delicious. I’m crazy about their Green Papaya salad. So few places have it.
Great place to get Thai Chinese food. They have a good selection and their food is always hot and very fresh tasting. My wife loves this Diho Siam and when ever we go to the Albertsons market my wife wants to stop and get take out from this Diho Siam. We have never had a bad experience here. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends
Authentic Thai dishes at authentic spiciness levels! Portions are very generous; great value for your money. Thank you, we'll be dining with Diho Siam again, very soon.
I absolutely love this restaurant, the employees and the food! They get it right every time, are very kind and respectful and I’ve been going for almost two years with no intention of stopping!
Love the food here, definitely my go to thai place.
What a fantastic restaurant! We had three lunch specials that were a phenomenal value and extremely tasty. Waiter even brought us our food to the public seating area. Couldn’t be happier!
Incredible food at a great price, and my water glass was never under half full even with every table full. I will absolutely keep coming here
New favorite thai place in the area! Husband and I just moved and were looking for a new thai place. We ordered the pad thai, yellow curry, and cream cheese wontons. Everything was exceptional, flavoring was great, huge portions (we both ate this for 2 meals), and we'll be coming here regularly.
Joe and his team go above and beyond. Amazing Thai cuisine and they treat their guests as family. Our kids are grown now and they still want to take friends to Diho when visiting. Love their personal touches and connection. Their Pad See Ew with extra veggies will change your life. Thanks for being reliable and authentic. Cheers.
Love this place food is always amazing
Green curry with mixed seafood is our “go-to” for take out
We take out here every couple weeks. The food is always great and ready right on time. We’ve tried about half the menu and every dish has been great. Love it!
Always have thai food cravings. Our go to
The food is always on point. The service is exceptional.
Inside looks like a typical strip mall Chinese / Thai Restaurant. Servers aren't particularly friendly but they are fast and proficient. The food is surprisingly great. My personal favorite is the fried shrimp appetizer. Super crunchy outside and perfectly succulent inside.
The Tom Kha soup is excellent, so is the Yellow Curry. The beef satay is flavorful, but the meat was a little tougher than I would like.
I moved to Colorado 2 years ago and have been missing the chicken fried rice! I visited this weekend and had to stop in. It was as delicious as ever!
My favorite Thai food by far. Every item I have ever tried has been A+. Drunken noodles are my favorite
I love this place ! I come here probably once a week and place an order by phone and it’s ready as soon as I go to pick up. The orange chicken is AMAZING. it’s by far my favorite place to get it. The guys who work here are so nice and so friendly, I definitely consider this one of my favorite to-go stops especially after a long day at work.
The food is great here, both Thai and Chinese.
I have eaten here many times over the years. I love their New Year chicken. The people are always friendly and smiling when I go in for my pickups and I've never had a problem with my orders that they didn't immediately correct. They forgot my tea one time but I just asked the waitress if she could get it for me and she did. I didn't get upset and pout about it until the end of my meal as they always returned to my table to see if I need anything despite being very busy. Quite surprised by some of the other comments about rudeness, it seems very out of character for them in my experience. I tend to think that if you act like a jerk you get treated like one but that's just MY opinion.
This place has absolutely fabulous Thai food. The Phase Thai is to die for. The atmosphere isn't much to speak of, being located in a strip mall, but the food more than messages up for it. There is almost never a wait for a table and the process are very reasonable considering the excellent food quality. Highly recommended!
Food is tasty and consistent. For takeout, even when busy the staff manage you through quickly to collect your items (Joe is especially excellent). If dining in, the coconut mango rice is a surprisingly wonderful treat for dessert!
Our family’s go to spot. The food is always flavorful and consistently delicious.
We love the amount of gluten free options they have! Food is always delicious and has become one of my kids favorite places to eat.
Diho Siam is our go-to place for Thai. We appreciate the freshness and refined taste of each of the dishes.
My friends and I had a rather exhausting day and as we were searching for places to eat, we stumbled upon Diho Siam. We were greeted by a wonderful man named Noi. After we ordered our food for takeout, he had noticed that we didn’t have an utensils or water. He kindly walked to where we were eating and brought us everything we could possibly need; appetizers, utensils, water, and some fortune cookies for dessert. Even as we started eating, he came two times to check on us to make sure we were having a pleasant evening. I would definitely recommend this restaurant solely based on customer service, however the food here was simply exquisite. This was some of the best Thai food I have ever had. A stressful day turned into a still and blissful evening.
I ordered take out and the food was hot and delicious. It was ready on time when I picked it up,
Salmon Curry and Chicken Fried Rice - 10/10. Very tasty and very nice staff. Delishhhhh
The food is incredible, the staff are fantastic, and the overall atmosphere is great. My only complaint about the atmosphere is that it's freezing inside. I always have bring an extra layer. Other than that, they do a wonderful job with the presentation, especially the Tom Yum Soup and some of their hot sauces. The staff provide great recommendations if you ever feel curious about branching out of your comfort zone. Everyone there is very accommodating and the wait time after ordering food is fairly short. Highly recommend the Pad See Eew! It's delicious and my favorite thing on the menu. One of the best parts is that they serve both Chinese and Thai food! It's great for groups that can't make up their mind about what kind of food they want to get.
Diho Siam never disappoints. The food is always fresh, full of flavor, and priced just right—and the service is consistently great. It’s one of those places where everyone at the table is happy, which isn’t always easy to pull off. My oldest son swears by the combo drunken noodles, and my youngest never orders anything but the BBQ pork fried rice—they’re both big wins every time. As for my partner and me, we always end up over-ordering because we can never decide between the red curry, Pad Thai, or the eggplant with basil. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them. A fantastic spot for family dinners, comfort food cravings, or just a reliably great meal. Highly recommend!
Picked up tonight, always ready when promised or earlier. Was still hot after 15 min drive home and food was just as tasteful as expected, really tasty. The portions are really good, the taste is such that one wants to finish the meal but there is always enough for tomorrow's lunch (if you can control yourself)
The twice Cooked Pork was so flavorful! The Wor Wonton Soup was also delicious! We'll get these two again (soon)!
Always a good experience. The food is always fresh and delicious, made exactly how we order it. Service is fast and friendly. I’ve been going here for years for take out and will continue to!
I have been coming here for several years now. Everytime, the food is delicious, and the staff is amazing. It's one of my family's favorite places to go for any occasion.
I always do take out. The staff is friendly and knows me by name even though I only order once every couple months. The food is amazing every time!
Always the best. I get the drunken noodles with rice. It’s my favorite. Always so friendly every time I come in to get my order. Thank you for being so kind!
We ordered our food for delivery and it arrived as expected and hot. The food is excellent so we were extremely happy!

Stopped for Sunday lunch, Pad Kee Mow, Tod Mun, Twice Cooked Pork. Very good, needed to insist to get spicy, but got a nice Thai chili favor.
Food is great and a big selection to choose from. However I wouldn’t recommend ordering online or by phone call on Friday and maybe Saturday nights as there will be a very long wait and will probably have to wait a half hour to an hour after the scheduled pick up time. During the the week days service is great and you should have no issues with take out.
We were denied dine in service as they were closing in 30 min. Person who took our order didn't seem interested in our business. Gentleman who brought thr food out was super nice and amazing. Food def gets a solid 5 stars
Overall, the food was very good. The tempura was a little too greasy, but otherwise everything was very good.
My family orders from Diho Siam probably about once per week. Would absolutely be 5 stars as I love their food and the employees are super friendly, but it’s really disappointing how dramatically they’ve raised their prices (literally from last week to this week). Orange chicken went from $13 to $18 overnight, cream cheese wontons went from $9.50 to $12.50 etc. To raise prices so significantly really sucks for your customers.
Very good dishes from the standard fare of Americanized Chinese and Thai plates. Would like to see portion size improve. Quantity of food on takeout seems to have decreased.

This was the first time trying this restaurant. I have had better Thai Chinese restaurants. The food was average at best and the service was mediocre. We ordered the Pad Thai which was very average.

Service was great, food could have been good not so sure. It came out quickly but then again were were the only ones in the restaurant I lost my appetite when my arm touched the table, tables were sticky, maybe the varnish coming of from the table or years of oily residue The Water Glasses were yucky, they were all scratched up from 100s of years of service and had a white calcium build up that you notice when the glass dries up
The food is 4 or 5 stars but the service is 1 or 2 stars so they get 3 stars because they are always understaffed. If it says 30 minutes to pick up your food on Friday, Saturday or Sunday double that to at least an hour. DiHo hire more staff!!!!
We ordered the Pad Thai, Thai Fried Rice, Satay, and Mango Sticky Rice. The food was delicious, with flavorful dishes, generous portions, and very reasonable prices. I’d even say it was cheap considering the serving size. Everything we ordered was great for sharing and definitely satisfied our Thai food craving. However, the service left something to be desired. We arrived about 40 minutes before closing, and when we walked in, the front staff didn’t greet us or offer a menu. When we asked a few questions, his demeanor felt unwelcoming and disinterested. It wasn’t rude, but it lacked the warmth we usually associate with Thai hospitality. It was a bit disappointing, especially after being so excited to find a Thai spot. The food was great, but the overall experience would have been better with a more welcoming attitude from the staff.
I ordered the vegetarian pad Thai through DoorDash. The flavor was decent but not great (I’m spoiled by really great Thai food where I come from.) I was also surprised that the vegetarian option didn’t include tofu and it didn’t seem to be an option (nor was chicken) as a protein add on. The food is OK, but I won’t be ordering from here again.

This place used to be great. Unfortunately the quality had dropped. I ordered the usual bbq chicken and they gave it to me boiled with a little sear. The meat was way over cooked/dry.
Was seated and waited 20 minutes for water, then to order. The tables were less than half full. The soup was not hot. The bamboo in it was too fibrous and I could not chew it. It was semi-hard. The service was okay. The atmosphere was loud and echo-y
Good food but when you’re told time and time again that your order will be 30 minutes to pick up and you get here in 30 minutes only to be told to wait another 30 minutes it’s frustrating. Will be finding a new Thai restaurant because this is ridiculous and food is not so good that it warrants long waits like this. Btw here now again waiting an hour fir take out and there are 2 people sitting in restaurant. :(
Awful. Pad Thai was mush. Thai Basil Beef was terrible quality. Summer roles half rice?? Thai food has been my fav for 35 years. Probably worst Thai I’ve ever had. Fellow customers need to know.
I wanted to love this place, really I did. I was so excited to see the good reviews... i'm desperate for good chinese food near me, but man does it lack. Tried twice and been disappointed both times. The wife seems to like the curry which I got to go...but the bbq pork was truly awful. As in go home to brush my teeth to get the taste out of my mouth awful. Service is poor. Had to flag down servers for literally every interaction, i.e. ready to order, needing water, tired of sitting there for 10 minutes with an entree I didn't even want to eat and just wanted my check so I can leave. They don't seem to care either. Server asked if I wanted a to go container and I told her no, I didn't enjoy the entree. I got an "ok" and she walked away. Not, "could I get you something else" or even an "i'm sorry you didn't enjoy you meal". Stellar service, truly fantastic. Wasn't even all that busy so no real excuse there.
Ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan. Delivery was quick. Not happy with the food quality or customer service. First, they messed up the order and did not offer to correct it. I spoke with Joe. Second, the bok choy was a solid piece of vegetable. It was not cut or prepared in the least bit. The food was also bland. It tasted as if all they added was a bit of salt and thickener for the broth. To top it off, they forgot my chopsticks in the delivery order.
This place is like a Kardashian, popular just because it's poplar. Food is on par with the average Chinese buffet, service is terrible, and prepare to wait 2-3 times longer than they tell you. Simply not worth it.
It was 8:25, they close at 9. The two workers looked at each other and at us and said nothing. I said hello and we were sat. Then told to order right away and be done eating by 9 or take to go. We left.
My rice noodles are literally white because of how little seasoning they put in my pad thai dish, I’m a regular at diho siam mission viejo location and i’ve gone to this location twice and both times the pad thai has been terrible compared to the mission location. I’m fed up I can’t believe I paid 14.28 for this 😤
We have been eating at at Diho Siam for 12 years. It has always been great until recently. We ordered take out at 6pm and it was not ready until 7:30. Then we went again a week later thinking the service would be better. Nope... Had to ask if our food was ready yet after a 40 minute wait. Then ask the owner for more rice, he looked at and pointed at the single serving of rice, then walked off. (They used to give the table a basket of rice.) We needed more rice so we again ask for some. When the bill came, they charged us for the second rice. Won't be going there for a good long time.
My family and I have dined at Diho Siam in Ladera Ranch three times now, and have felt let down by the service. The last time we were there, my dinner and my wife's dinner were delivered promptly; however, my daughter never got her dinner. We witnessed the same thing happening to a group of four the previous time. A glass of wine that was ordered before the meal was delivered once the meal was completed. I will never return. If you can deal with maybe not getting your order, and other failures in service, then you'll find their curry dishes to be quite tasty; however, there are other Thai restaurants nearby who have good food AND good service, like Glass Door.
The most ridiculous wait for a to go order. We placed an order on door dash and it was supposed to be delivered in 45 minutes. Our driver has been there for 2 hours and they keep saying 10 more minutes we are now at over 3 hours and still not delivered. However they are not updating their delivery times on door dash it still shows 35 minutes. What a scam
