I got the vegan dry noodles and coconut pandan panna cotta. The dry noodles were tasty, but the panna cotta was out of this world. Next time I go I’m getting multiple!! PS I went again again and got breakfast. The pandan waffles were tasty and chewy

This restaurant is huge on flavor but not on price.. we had a beautiful dinner here. You order at the front counter and then they bring everything to your table. There is an outdoor patio or an indoor dining room to choose from and both are clean but nothing fancy.. just a down home come as you are casual beach vibe. Our favorite dishes were the spring roles, shaken beef, and the brisket banh mi dip sandwich. The garlic noodles are a nice side alternative to rice and the chicken wings seem to be a universal favorite. This is a great relaxed place to grab a bite.. food comes out fast and hot. There is a free parking lot on the north side of the building.

I got the noodle soup with brisket. The portion is quite large, so I took most of it home in their plastic container. Good for a couple of dinners.

When I was looking for a Vietnamese restaurant to meet up in Laguna beach, I came across this gem! It’s a cozy, homey spot with a great atmosphere for dining. We ordered fried egg rolls, crispy wontons, a pork banh mi, a pork vermicelli bowl, pho (traditional soup), chicken curry, passionfruit mango limeade, and Thai iced tea. The food was absolutely delicious, I especially loved the appetizers! The server, who was the only one working that day, was like Wonder Woman! She was friendly, easy to talk to, and super nice. It was the perfect combination of good food, great service, and a lovely place to try.

My wife and I loved the original location in Newport so we were pleasantly surprised when we found another location in Laguna. Food is super good, plenty of seating and parking too. Everything was made fresh and large portion sizes. Here's what we ordered: Vermicelli Bún w/ chicken, two pork belly sliders and two grilled pork spring rolls. Their sliders are a must-have, they are pretty much our favorite thing on the menu. Update: we went back for mother's Day and had the pork belly lollipops and also the chicken wings. All dishes were super duper tasty.

We love this place right in the heart of Laguna Beach! Wonderfully seasoned dishes and super friendly owners and staff. We always come for our favs, pho baguette, 420 rice downtowner, pan Dan waffle and tried some new yummy menu items today as well - crispy wontons, lemongrass, chicken wings, saucy bossy ribs, and dirty fries!

Please have respect for yourself, your mouth & your belly. This restaurant is delicious we ordered everything on the top 5 special menu and every dish hit. The flavors really tasted like I was really sitting on a beach in Vietnam 🇻🇳. Also the papaya salad if you can handle spicy.

Great food! We got chicken baos, they were amazing. Banh Mi sandwich, the baguette is soft, not too hard and crispy! We’ll def visit again

Ordered the pork belly bao, grilled pork spring rolls, beef pho baguette dip, and shakey shakey beef with garlic noodles. Had been wanting to come here for months and it was even better than I imagined. Staff was super friendly and nice on top of it all. I want to try everything on the menu- can’t wait to go back!

Been going to the Newport location for years and recently tried Laguna. It is just as good with some other menu options! The pho baguette has become smaller unfortunately but is just as good as it’s always been- like pho in a sandwich. The pork belly bao are must have small bites and the 420 green rice is very juicy and perfect when topped with sriracha and hoisin. The coconut hot chocolate was delicious!!! I hope this place lasts for 50 more years so I can always visit when I come home😭

Shared shrimp/avocado spring rolls. They were fresh and flavorful. The dirty French fries were amazing and the lemongrass wings were delicious. My daughter had shrimp pho and said it was really good also. Service very friendly. Enjoyed eating outside. A great first night in Laguna.

Had a solid banh mi here and egg rolls. I saw there was a special protein for pork sausage with lemongrass to put on it and I'm very glad I tried it! The sauce for the egg rolls was delicious My only negative is that the cucumber a large slice along the sandwich and is not cut up into thin strips Ample parking for customers

We had such a wonderful experience at Saigon Beach in Laguna Beach! The food was absolutely delicious, and the owner was incredibly kind. He offered amazing recommendations that made our meal even better. We enjoyed everything we ordered, but a special shout-out goes to the spicy lemongrass soup. If you go, definitely try it… you won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend this spot for great flavors and genuinely warm hospitality.

Really, really good food. The Spicy Lemongrass Soup was very flavorful, definitely one of the best Vietnamese soups I've ever had. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Nice outdoor patio. Highly recommend.

The food and drinks here are phenomenal. I think I finished two dishes before I even blinked- really. And also the crispy onions are addictive and if they sold them in bulk I’d buy all of it

The food was okay, my wife thought the pho was good, but if you have ever been to a mom and pop shop you've had better. You also have to ask for the normal accompaniments, bean sprouts, jalapenos, lime, etc. I assume this helps them save money and cut down on waste. Speaking of money, I spent close to $90 dollars for five chicken wings, one bahn mi, two apps, and two pho. Not mind blowing but definitely way too much for the quality of food. You're paying for the neighborhood you're eating in. Based on the price, food quality, location, etc. I will not be returning.

Good spot in Laguna, but does not compare to Vietnamese restaurants outside. Ordered the brisket pho, and was slightly disappointed by the brisket. The pho broth was also quite salty, flavor was not as rich as other pho spots. Similarly, lemongrass noodle soup was also salty, but did have a good amount of lemongrass flavor. Overall, fine spot for lunch/dinner, but don’t come here expecting authentic Vietnamese flavors.

Understandably to a certain extent, it was closing time but they way they told us to leave was not professional and not the way to do it. And the food was ok.

A place i will remember not to go to. Pho was too salty. Brisket was ok. Curry with some chicken pieces was nothing but yellow sauce over potato pieces and a side of rice. Few specs of green veggies i guess. All self order and self serve utensils, sauce, napkins. Pathetic.
