Chipotle Mexican Grill Lake Forest Reviews
Chipotle has patient and excellent teamwork where everyone takes their part and pride in crafting your personalized meal. Plenty of options rich in flavor and highly enjoyable.
As a member of a Mexican family of great cooks I have to give this place the credit deserved, then again I only order Steak salad or Sorfritas bowl. All else is too basic or too high on spices (good enough/normal for the average none traditional Mexican cook) 📓🖋
Really good, and they have almost everything you want. The only suggestion is consistency. Sometimes, you ask for something one day and get too little, and then you ask for the same thing the next day and get too much.
Great atmosphere and friendly customer service!
It’s just a chipotle and y'all know how chipotle works haha but I felt I got outstanding customer service today from Ernesto, had to give it a formal shout out. It really makes a difference, like actually the sort of small upgrade to getting lunch that makes you more likely to come back.
This is a great Chipotle location. Clean, efficient, with awesome employees. They properly fill and wrap burritos here so they aren't falling apart and you aren't getting big bites of 1 ingredient.
As usual simple menu great food and clean restaurant. Drinks fountains are well stocked compared to other branches. Family friendly with tables and chairs set up for families throughout. Came after lunch hours things are still fresh and warm, happy tummies, will come again after shopping nearby!
Chipotle is one of my favorite places to go in general and this particular location is quite fantastic. Their location is pretty good and I'm always able to get in during lunchtime without issue. The staff is on top of things and the line moves quick every time I've been there. They even have a nice outdoor eating area when the weather is tolerable. And once you're done eating you're already in a great shopping center for your other needs.
Food is always fresh and delicious you can build your own burritos and they do a real good job. No problem is that the more you pour on the more expensive it becomes over $10 for a burrito is a little steep but it's still delicious.
Always great tasting food. Nothing more needs to be said about this place it's pretty uniformly great and every location of ever visited all of my favorite Chipotle is in El Toro next to the Home Depot. The folks there are exceptional all the time for all the years I've been going there. You must have a hiring Tradition that is exceptional. Always easy to make friends with as long as you're not any lunch production line and everyone's in a hurry.
I'm a vegetarian so this place is great. I can go in and get the spicy tofu burrito. It's super filling and super good and the same time light. I think it's called the sofredas. I can also get it in a taco farm or a bowl. I'm a very big guy and very athletic so I need a lot of protein. It's hard to find in a lot of restaurants so when I'm on the go I need a quick fix this place is perfect. However I do wish they gave out punch cards, So you get a free meal every 8 meals or something. It would be just a little bonus on top. But anyways good job Chipotle. Keep it up maybe adding some vegetarian options with different flavored proteins.
Staff is very nice and the place is clean. I usually order the salad with brown rice, black beans (I think the pintos are not vegan), fajitas peppers, salsa, corn, and guacamole. It's quite a large portion and fills me up! Great place for a quick healthy-ish bite to eat.
This place blew open my third eye and fourth hole. As a WiFi addicted 38 year old who identifies as a pre pubescent furry teenager I find it hard to focus on the good that can come from the public. Generally speaking I am afraid to leave the confines of my adoptive parents property in Anaheim… How ever this place was recommend to me by a homeless transient and his donkey make the trek from South American to Alaska.
I can be rather critical of Chipotle restaurants since I worked at one in college about 20 years ago, and I’m happy to say this was almost a flawless location. Outside presence looked inviting, inside the employees greeted me and were pleasant. The rice, proteins, and veggies all looked fresh and appropriate portions were given on my steak tacos. The tables were clean and the steak and a nice adobo spice that left my mouth slightly tingling. Impressed by this Chipotle, and a great place for lunch.
Had incredible service tonight, Specifically from Julia, Arion, & Paul! I know working in food service can be difficult. Those three had an amazing infectious attitude. By far the best chipotle store I’ve been to.
Look I haven't been there for a while but when I did go there the food was awesome because of my finances I can't go there right now everything is way out there out of my reach out of my pockets the food is delicious when I do have some extra cash I will be back in there thank you Chipotle
Now this is how all the restaurants should be run! There were four people running the front, and so the long line was breezing through. When I asked for extra rice, the server asked me when to stop. Portion sizes were excellent, even the large chip bag was over half way full. Nice staff, very respectful. Best experience so far
shoutout my goats fidel and the girl working with him — y’all made my day 🫶🏽 somebody promote them please!

Build your own custom tacos, burritos, salads and burrito bowls. Ingredients are prepared fresh all day, prices are quite reasonable. No drive through access but your time to get in and grab to-go will usually be 5-10 mins. They offer some healthier options these days like tofu and brown rice. Don't forget, guacamole is extra.
I love chipotle. This location is generally good when you order in person. When ordering online my burritos or bowl weren’t as good
Today Bogo deal 4p.m to close Dining in only
Got the chicken burrito bowl. With guacamole. Still the usual taste & quality. Nice clean store too. Prices are climbing -- $18 now with a fountain drink. I can get a salmon entree nearby at Calif fish grill or Spikes for about same price. Seems out of whack.
One can almost expect to get the same quality, the same taste and an efficient service day in day out. This is the recipe for a successful fast food business and no wonder it holds a huge market share with a much higher potentials. Maybe someday they serve beer n wine too Cheers! 🍻
Great place quite and fresh food
Nice employees. Portions getting smaller

The staff has steadily gone down at many locations of Chipotle. The food is the same but less fresh for to fewer customers. They definitely need a new menu or direction.
used to love this place, but its dropped to less than I'd pay for a burrito and guac. Place feels like they are over worked and going through the motions. I'd look to upper level staff and how they are treating hourly. Don't know exactly how to put it but having been an hourly I know what it looks like.
My food was good but yesterday my buddy found some kind of little "leaf" or "lettuce" bug in his food. Pretty sure it was there from being served not landing there after the fact. Personally I've never seen one of these bugs but it was a rich green little guy. Blended with the guacamole nicely. Pretty gross. Needless to say we stopped eating our food.
Manager wouldn’t honor a $2.50 birthday coupon because the email/app wasn’t loading and instead suggested we contact customer service. Overkill for some thing so small, and I didn’t appreciate the clear implication that we were trying to get away with something. Extra stars for the clearly embarrassed cashier that had to relay their managers silly decision.
I thought they said they were putting more meat on their items but that's not what I saw when I bought my burrito
I went in on April 13, I go to this location at least once or twice a week, as I approach the employee to order he looked very annoyed to take my order. He had a blank Stare, wasn’t friendly at all and was more in a hurry to get my order in and out as soon as possible just throwing the food on the bowl. And the amount that was served Was very little compared to the other times I have been here. I get it we all have our days where we’re not feeling our best, but remember we’re spending our money at this Restaurant which pays your salaries a little nicer attitude wouldn’t hurt

I made an online order and was told It would be available at 4:30pm. I arrived at 4:30pm to chipotle and they told me there was no order under that name. Refused to refund via their website. No business services to speak to-all chat bots that do nothing to resolve the issue.
I had a terrible meal there last night! I got it to go and ended up throwing it down the garbage disposal. The meat was mostly big hunks of fat and was uneatable. I have to say, we eat there a lot and this was the first bad meal I have had there.
4:45 Dec 1/2023 ordered a steak Burrito. Guy didn't drain the beans. Then he added steak and then he didn't drain the pico and then he added cheese and sour cream. The burrito was soaking wet so I asked him to drain the burrito so it wouldn't fall apart and he took the Burrito tilted it over the pico container and poured all the mixed juices in the burrito back into the pico container.
I am writing to express my concern regarding a serious sanitary issue I encountered at your establishment on September 4th 2024. Before ordering my food, I went to the restroom and noticed a worker come in. After he finished his business, he walked out without washing his hands. I immediately went to the front to speak with a manager to inform them that the soap dispenser was not working. While doing so, I saw the same employee enter the employee area and go directly to serving food. I informed the manager about the worker not washing his hands. The manager spoke to the employee, who then went to the back, presumably to wash his hands. The manager then told me that the soap dispenser has not been working. This implies that all employees and customers have been unable to wash their hands, which is a significant sanitary concern. If employees do not wash their hands after using the restroom and then proceed to prepare food, it poses a serious health risk. Even if they use gloves, touching the gloves with dirty hands contaminates the food that customers will later consume. I urge you to address this issue immediately to ensure the health and safety of both your employees and customers. Proper hand hygiene is crucial in preventing foodborne illnesses and maintaining a safe dining environment.
Worst experience I’ve had at a Chipotle. I usually go to a different location where everything is fine. This location was more convenient for my family’s weekly meal. We pay about $40 a week. At this location, however, I was put through the ringer. In order to get your take out, you have to show your driver’s license and payment method. And then they want to see the actual card and check it against their records. Never go here. They hate their customers.
It’s been a while since I’ve been to a chipotle and they must’ve cut back on the portions for meat. I used to get a full spoon now it’s maybe half a spoon. Oh well, I was there on a free gift card. Won’t be there on my own dime though lol.
It used to be good. Unsure why it was so sloppy this time. We usually go to the pickup place to get our order, but this time they had our food in their kitchen like they were hoping we weren't going to pickup so that they could eat it. We were late by only 10 minutes but they still had our bag ready to eat in their backroom. We won't be eating at this location anymore. Our bowls of food were only filled halfway and what was left had tasted weird. We threw it out after the first bite and ordered from somewhere else after we had gotten home.
BEWARE! Very bad, horrid customer service and staff doesn't know menu and gets items mixed up. This is dangerous when customers have food allergies and the staff does not pay attention to the order. Also, there are issues with the restrooms which need attention. You can get locked inside due to a jammed lock!
These two guys straight up ration the food one of them put like half a scoop and then when i asked to put a little he shuffled 3 pieces of chicken more not good for $11 a bowl half full. There is a better chipotle up the el toro road do not waste money here.
This is a great location. Use the app to create your order in advance, then pick it up without having to interact with anybody. OR, go through the line and watch them make your meal. Parking is kind of a pain in the butt, but it's a minor inconvenience. Updating to one star since their online customer service makes it impossible to get any issues fixed. This location was fine, however their company is backwards. Their online ordering system is ridiculous when it comes to trying to get fundraising funds applied to my daughter's school. I wasted more than an hour of my time through their "Pepper" app, chatting to a live person, but getting nowhere. Always promise that a person would from the fundraising team would contact me, but it never happens.
The service would have been a 5/5, but they did serve me moldy food. If I could put the star rating for food lower than a 1, I would have.
Worst burrito I’ve ever had. Not sure what happened to Chipotle but it’s nothing like it used to be. The burrito was cold, chewy and didn’t taste fresh. Small for the price and overall very disappointing we will not go to this chain again.
First time ordering online and picking up. The geniuses forgot to put the steak in my steak salad. And now going round round round round with pepper bought who is clearly not understanding the problem you guys need to figure this out.
I ordered a double-steak bowl. Takeout. $22+ & HALF+ the steak was u chewable/gristle!! The meat that was inedible is in my picture on the foil lid of the container. Absolute theft charging that amount of money for clearly substandard steak/meat. Used to regularly go to Chipotle but now the goal seems to be save money serving dog scraps of meat....at least the steak was crap. Service & staff were good but food was the opposite.
They open at 1030am on this store. I ask the person which will serve me and probably im the first customer that day. I ask her if there barbaqua is newly cooked and she said they cooked it everyday. So took out the food and ate on my work, unfortunately this not fresh and not hot. If this is fresh and hot, the red juice will see it everywhere on my bowl.
Came here to buy half and half bowl. The guy claiming be called Junior Hueutero overcharged me for a steak bowl instead of a regular pastor bowl. I didn’t realize that thinking a chipotle restaurant won’t do such a shame thing by overcharging customers, but it happened. When I confronted him, this guy named Junior Hueutero refused to refund me the overcharged amount. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. TRY OTHER LOCATION CUZ THEY OVERCHARGE U!!!
This place deleted my review. Horrible staff likes to harass customers and skimp on meat portions. Bowl was rancid and lettuce was moldy. Go somewhere else unless you like being robbed.
