Tandoori Grill Lake George Reviews
It’s outstanding how in 2024 there’s so many prejudice and bigoted reviews there are simply writing a review that this not proper “Indian” and complaining how this is a Pakistani restaurant. Please Ignore those racist reviews. The service here we received was welcoming and the food is great if you’re in the lake George area
I don't understand the hate for this restaurant. We were tired last weekend after skiing at Gore, and wanted some nice veggie food. I saw the negative reviews for this place and decided to go for it anyway. Vegetarian food in this area is not easy to find. Tandoori grill had great food and quick service. Of course, we did takeout. I got palak paneer, which was pleasantly spicy. I got to choose the spice level, on a ten scale. The rice was long-grain, fresh and sticky. We also got a two orders of samosas, which were tasty. I have extensive eating experience, I lived by Jackson Heights for many years and I know Indian food. This was great. I will stop in again next time I'm in the area.
Just picked up our food this evening and wow! We are impressed! Great flavor, We got to choose our spice level as well! Sauce is thick (not watery) and very flavorful we had a great meal! We will return very soon! p.s. for the reviews saying there was a fragrance or perfume scent...its anise, its a spice and its delicious lol
With My family had lunch here, chicken biryani was great tasty, paneer tikka masala best & Butter Naan Amazing. Everything so delicious & mouth watering. Highly recommend. Will back again and again and again. Shukriya for chef hats off. ❤️
The food was delicious! We were able to ask no spicy please and they made our food not spicy which was great for the kids. And they made a tandoori pizza for the kids which was so good and interesting, there was some Indian gerah spice and cilantro on it. The service was great and very friendly as well. We’ll come again.
The food is outstanding. The family is amazing and have worked really hard to add to the lake George Community . We woul only be eating pizza if it wasn’t for this family. There are a few fake reviewers trying to ruin the reputation of this restaurant. Showing images of bad salad and others. That is not a product from them. And images are cropped so you can’t make out really where there were photographed.
It may be possible of a new chef based on the poor ratings because I ate there last night and saag paneer was excellent. I asked for level 3 spicy and it was perfect to my taste as well as the sang was not oily or overly creamy, it was just right. Also the spices they use were slightly different or better quality because the flavor was excellent. Even the rice had a distinctly nice flavor. The woman at the front helping me was so nice and the place was spotless within. I took time to give a great review because I've never eaten at an establishment with low ratings that was so far from the reality of my experience.
We've gone to the Grill for years and it is consistently wonderful. It is family owned and operated. Lassies are great. I love the Channa Marsala--so vegetarian is possible. Their Korma dishes are great too. While it is now more expensive it isn reasonable by LG village standards. Why do people go the village for burgers and pizza when you have this option. I would recommend a "5" on the spicy index. We tried 7 once but it was too hot for us, and we love hot!
5 star so that people read this review...actual review is (-10)...very bad paneer tikka masala and chole.....there is an oily odor from naan...staff is not at all courteous..when informed about food quality. Rather then being apologetic...i was asked if i paid bill... Please dont go if you are looking for a vegetreian indian option
Delicious! We licked the plates and the spoons! Very elaborate and complex favors.
We had a wonderful meal. Having to order at the register was the only (minor) down-point. The food was great, though what we ordered did have a lot of bones. We ate every last bit. I appreciate that you can customize your level of heat.
We went here despite the low stars because my hubby said he was craving Indian food and we were pleasantly surprised! I have no idea why people have rated this wonderful restaurant so poorly. I am Indian and hubby, is American and we both loved the food! We ordered samosa, pakora, chhole and chicken tikka masala and 7/10 spice level. Every dish was delicious. It is a take-out place as they don’t have wait staff and so we just took our food and sat in their cozy, breezy outdoor seating area. Everything was hot, freshly made, delicious and tasted like homemade food. It is not ok to give a restaurant low ratings and one star over one issue. So glad we ignored the low stars and went here.
Always stop here on our way to NYC and Abany. Food is always delicious and consistent. Plenty of parking and easily accessible from route 9.
Fantastic food! We liked it so much the first time, we came back a few days later. The atmosphere was great too, nice dim lighting and some smooth jazz. My vegetarian partner also had many options - which wasn't the case in some of the other places in the area. They also let you choice the spiciness level of your food. I'd recommend staying at or below 7 if you'd like to really enjoy your meal. I chose to brave the 10 the first time, and it was pretty hot!
Great food cheap, right outside of the overpriced strip of LG. Got the palak paneer.. it was excellent. The kids got chicken tenders which were also fantastic!
I ordered the food saw the reviews after got a little worred because there were so many bad reviews but i tried the food and its really good got the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan solid flavor i recommend this place
I have celiacs and was staying at a nearby hotel. Their menu was clearly labeled, so I knew which was gluten-free ( it was also labeled for vegetarian and halal). I had the chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, and the vindaloo. All were delicious, but the palak paneer was especially good. The people were attentive to my concerns about gluten and were very nice. If I am back in the area, I will definitely go back to this celiac friendly place, especially for the palak paneer.
My experience at Tandoori Grill was excellent! Truly enjoyed the authentic desi flavors, with both taste and service being outstanding. The ambiance is also family-friendly. Definitely recommend it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I don't know why there are so many bad reviews. We had chicken tandoori, chicken seekh kebab over rice and mango lassi. The jeera rice was really fragrant and the chicken was flavorful. The restaurant has a nice ambience. I think this is great if you want to try halal food in the Lake George area. The mango lassi was delicious too. However, they have an extra 15% service charge.
We were traveling and were in the mood for something other than burgers and fries. We accidentally stumbled across this place and boy were we glad! The food was EXCELLENT! So much so we went back again the next day for some takeout for our long drive home! The owner (Humera) was such a pleasent and warm person to deal with! Restaurant is clean, staff is friendly and food is DELISH! Definitely recommending this place to anyone reading!
This was delicious!! The salad was fresh and the rice was perfectly cooked and also fresh. The kabobs were fresh and the perfect combination of spice. The consistency was perfect with a little char and soft on the inside. The owners were so kind and attentive. This will be our go to restaurant whenever where in the area. Thanks again!
This was actually our first time in this restaurant. When we first entered, the restaurant was empty and we were a little hesitant, but the food was amazing. We ordered the chicken Korma and tandoori leg and everything was good. The spice level was perfect and we actually ended up enjoying it to the point that we came back the next day. Had a nice chat with the owners/cook and they are a nice couple. Please give them a try and help boost their business.
When we first walked in I really thought I would not like any of the food. The restaurant was a little empty but I feel like that’s due to the really negative reviews people have given them. To my surprise, the service of the restaurant was really good. I have severe allergies and this was acknowledged and cared about by the staff. The food was great. It brought me back to being in Pakistan and I really appreciated that. I would give them a try, I know the reviews seem off but the food speaks for itself.
Absolutely DELICIOUS food & fantastic service every single time. The chicken makhani with peshwari naan is our favorite. There are many vegetarian & vegan options. They will cater to your spice preference on a level from 0-10! Between dining in & take out I’ve eaten Tandoori Grill over a dozen times and it’s always great! Food consistently comes out in timely manner & take out is always ready when they say it will be. There’s a reason Tandoori Grill has been here for over 10 years now. Highly recommend!
This place is excellent. The restaurant's aesthetic is visually pleasing. The tables were clean, and the lighting is enchanting. We ordered the mango lassi and according to four of us, "This is the best mango lassi I've ever had." The food arrived in a timely fashion and tasted spectacular. The meat was tender and flavorful. Presentation was good; photos attached. The amount of negative reviews on this establishment astounds me. Based on my experience, they are unequivocally unjustified.
We have been coming here since 2015. The restaurant is not fancy, a little rustic and is getting renovated gradually. The food and drinks are delicious. We have had almost everything on the menu. The Mango shake is also just as it should be. The owners are wonderful people and always welcoming. I would not suggest you try their Chai if you are not accustomed to the real taste of Chai, do not expect the taste from your coffee shop or Starbucks.
Food curry was tasty. We got a take away.
It's a small restaurant along the main route with plenty of parking space. The person who greeted me who seemed to be the owner was friendly and patient while I looked at the menu. The chicken biryani I got was the best I had as it seemed authentic and was flavorful. The chicken was cut in dices but the bones were left and it added flavor but I had to work a little to remove them. The restaurant operated as take-out since it was the low-season and since I was just passing by, I've got offered to dine-in. There was enough food in my portion for two or three people. I ate very well!
When we arrived for dinner, it was empty. Host was attentive and friendly, woman who checked us in and out offered subpar service, and outdoor seating was enjoyable with the patio lights. We ordered tikka masala, chicken makhni (they were generous with the chicken). The alu potato naan was amazing and we enjoyed our veggie samosa app. Food was slow to come out but was delicious with suitable portions.
Best tasting food from any of the restaurants around during my week there, only truly satisfying dinner I had. Showed up for dinner to find no other customers which made me nervous. Waiter was a bit off, no smile, no greeting but not rude either, very soft spoken. Maybe them flog the friendly staff. Had to ask for ice, but did get a pitcher of water which I always love. They ask on a scale 1-10 how spicy you want your meal and they get it EXACTLY right which was amazing. Lots and lots of room to eat outside. Wasn't expecting great service from an Indian restaurant. Biggest thing holding them back. Saw 1 or 2 white kids working there, maybe let them take the orders and let the Indians handle the food.
very good food, so warm and yummy and fresh. rice was amazing and meat tasted great. there was a constant banging noise and no air conditioning but the food made up for it!
Food was pretty good. The owner was super accommodating towards our severe allergies, told me she was a physician and I really appreciated it. Don’t find that kind of service often.
Food is PAKISTANI/BANGLADESHI. NOT INDIAN. Not sure why there are bad reviews when this is not going to taste like Indian food. It was VERY authentic, clean, delicious. My American Friend and I were so happy. Service was amazing & the food was so damn good on 06/17/2024. The dining room has very good AC system which makes it cool and comfortable. Taking one star away because they need to clean the bathrooms better and they need a waiter to approach the table to order food instead of customer walking to the counter. But the people who work there are very nice and the food is good.
My family and I went here twice, for lunch on one day and dinner the next day, despite the negative reviews. There was no wait time for a table, we were told to choose any. Waiters don’t take orders, you have to go to the cashier lady to order the food, which was fine by us. The food was served within 5-10 minutes. The waiter is very hardworking. The food tasted fine and was filling, we had the chicken tikka masala with rice and side of naan. Also the mango lassi. We had the same the next day as well. The only complaint we had was the odd smell in the restaurant, so if it isn’t cold out I’d suggest sitting outside.
Surprisingly, the restaurant was open on Monday, lucky me as I was starving and couldn't ask for more. I was the only customer at the restaurant. Only take away option was available at this time due to off-season. Paneer Butter Masala was reasonably good but the BULLET NAN is NOTEWORTHY.
Good food, indifferent service. We were greeted by a young guy that I'm assuming is the son of the owners. He could not have been less interested in helping us. Every time we had a question about anything it felt as though we were putting him out...his demeanor alone is the reason it's not likely that we'll ever return or recommend going there, even though we enjoyed the food. We did have a few interactions with a lady who was kind, but it wasn't enough to make up for his behavior. The way they run their restaurant is not obvious to newbies, but the attitude was clear that we should have known. Everything is sold as take out. You can choose to sit in the restaurant, but everything will be served in to go containers with plastic cutlery. What I did appreciate was the uncomplicated and limited choice menu as massive menus with lots of options overwhelm me. I'm assuming they chose to sell dishes they know how to make well.
Food is good. You have to go to the counter, order yourself and yet you have to be mandatorily pay 15 Percent Gratuity. Use and throw plates were given.
We got hyped for no reason. We visited lake george for the first time and got many activities done on the first day. We got so excited to see a Pakistani restaurant and decided to stop by. We got there at 8pm and they said because of COVID they have to have reservations in advance. So they didn't serve us. We were tired and hungry so asked for chai only and oh man we were told to wait one hour so we left. We called the next day and finally came, got seated and ordered. The food took a long time. The food is not authentic Pakistani. Naan tasted like sourdough bread. Chicken karahi is made in spices and tomatoes only, they clearly need to label that dish because clearly its not karahi. Their chicken Tikka masala was okay. Palak paneer was made with cream and thats all you could taste it was disgusting. Overall, the food is made only for gorey peeps so stay away if you want a good tasty meal. Because we wasted all that food made for 15 people.
Keep this in mind: there is the food and there is the experience. First the experience. This is basically a take away restaurant (as of June 2021). There are tables, but there is no table service. You order at the counter and pick it up packaged for you. You can eat it at picnic tables on the patio if you like. The food: Very good. Our party of four ordered one dish from each of the three main sections, one naan plus Vegetable Pakora as an appetizer. It was more than enough food. Spice level 4/10 was a bit high for our palates but flavors were good. Prices were slightly high for not having table service. Menu was confusing because the "lunch" menu looks identical to the "dinner" menu on the same page. Bottom line: food was unique and well prepared, they just need to do a better job of letting potential customers what to expect.
I normally avoid restaurants with this low of a rating but we didn’t have option so we figured we’d give a chance. That was a mistake. The negative reviews are mostly spot on. 1) We had to return both of our appetizers (samosa and chaat); the samosas smelled expired and the chaat had a long string of hair that was somehow missed by the cook. 2) We ordered a handful of different entrees and it was mostly hit or miss — my tandoori chicken had 0 flavor. It was dry to the bone and wasn’t seasoned at all. The Chicken Karahi was really good and as was the lamb. 3) Their “iced tea”’is actually a mint lemonade — it was good but I’m not sure why they’d label it one thing and produce something entirely different. Hopefully ownership takes these reviews into consideration but the negative reviews really do speak for themselves. It was one of the more disappointing aspects of our trip.
We waited for about 10 minutes and a lady with not a hint of a smile ordered us to sit outside even though there were empty chairs inside. We had to to go to the counter to order which we did We had to wait another 10-15 minutes for the lady to show up to take the order. She was extremely rude with us and behaved as if she was an adult admonishing kids for discussing the order to finalize. She doesn’t realize We the customer are the reason she is there. Rude, Patronizing. Not a pleasant experience- don’t care what the food tasted like - leaves a bad taste in the mouth
Vegetarian food was pretty terrible. We got malai kofta and paneer tikka masala and they used the same sad beige sauce on both. Space was pretty beat up. It’s too bad because it’s the closest place for Pakistani/Indian food near us but we won’t be back. The tap water was good! The rice was nice!
I didn’t enjoy their food. We are not from Lake George area, but decided to give it a go since it was very close the attractions. We ordered chicken tikka, sheesh kabab, chicken jhalfry with garlic naan. The kebabs were dry and chewy, barely any masala on them. I felt like most of the dishes were full of cumin flavor. Would not recommend this place. Definitely food was not fresh. I don’t mind their mandatory 15% tipping, but we literally had to walk to cashier desk to order. And then they will bring the food. It makes no sense.
Unfortunately the food was extremely overpriced. 1 curry is $18. At least the naan was cheapish at $2/ naan but it was pretty hard and not like the naan we’re used to in Long Island. Chicken Biriyani tasted like perfume was sprayed in it and didn’t come with anything like pickle to add some flavor. There was yogurt but we were afraid to eat anything cold from there lol. The masala chai was like made using Lipton tea bags. Workers seemed sad and depressed. The bathroom was very gross. Booth chairs were like sorta damaged as if the paint was like peeled off somehow. Good potential but lackluster in almost every way. Someone should buy them out and renovate and revamp the food. Only extremely good point was there was ample parking.
We have been coming to Lake George 2 times a year for 6 years.. and every single time we eat at least one meal here. Tonight was the first time dishes did not taste good. Got Tandoori Chicken and Palak paneer. Neither dish tasted good. Either the chef quit or the owners changed.. never eating here again ever!!
Smells horrible inside the restaurant. Food is tasteless garbage.
I never seen any biryani served as tomato rice and taste is worst and it’s frozen food and even they charged for having food at that restaurant 15%
Food quality - Very bad. It was tasteless. Paneer tikka masala was made in white gravy. Channa masala did not have any taste. The naans were very dry and not well cooked. Food quantity - The quantity was very less. One entree usually sufficiently serves 2 people but not here. The rice portion was a joke. We asked for raita and they gave in a 1 oz condiment container a watery lassi. What a joke! Food price - The price is way too high. They are taking advantages of the tourists specifically who stop by just because of the name. Place - Lot of maintenance is needed on this place (both inside and outside). The restrooms were dirty. One of the ceiling plank was out and it was a safety hazzard. The outdoor patio was all worn out. Service - Service was very bad. Our food came after 45 minutes it was ordered and when we ordered 2 more naans it took another 30 minutes and by that time we already finished with the meal. They named Sprite as Soda line and it came 40 minutes later perhaps they ordered it from the near by gas station. Not recommended at all!
With all honesty the food was very disappointing and the price was way too much!! It’s a disrespect to our desi culture!! food was way too salty and the chicken had no flavor!! I’m very disappointed and upset
Worst indo pakistani food I had in the USA. None of the preparations were palatable. The dining area, tables and even utensils are dirty with houseflies sitting on served food. The service was minimal, where you have to walk up to the door before you find a table. They charge you upfront for the food when you order and add a 15% service charge which is not mentioned in the menu. Skipping a meal and staying hungry is a better experience than dining at this place. Highly encourage people to stay away from this business.
Such a horrible food…. Very disappointing. We ordered paneer tikka, Chole and biryani. All tastes horrible.
Worst Restaurant I’ve ever been to. So extremely disappointing. Ordered chicken makhni and ghoshth so tasteless. The naan were burnt and neither dishes had any flavor at all and were a mushy grainy texture. Also the water was so salty and dishes were dirty. Left still hungry and disappointed. If your in lake George and want halal food get gyros or fries or fish or pizza from somewhere this was so bad. Bathroom was dirty. Food was unauthentic and bland. If you’re desi this place will not suit you feels like everything is watered down for less spice for non desi people tourists. After a long day of cruising, vacationing and swimming in lake george we thought we’d have some home away from home at this restaurant but it’s beyond unauthentic
This restaurant the food is horrible. I wasted my money. The tandoori chicken was dry, hard, and stale fried chicken. The butter nan was very thick and tasteless with yeast. The channa dish was ok. We were visiting and needed some halal food, we left most of the food. This place is for people who don’t know what Indian food is. If you are from NYC and know what good Indian food is don’t visit this restaurant. They need to put air freshener. When people leave most of the food on the table the restaurant should know the customers did not enjoy the food.
Raita they need to learn what actually it is.. Whatever you are serving is white water.. I guess they add some sugar in Palak Paneer instead of Indian Masalas.. Tandoori Chicken is full of Food color. I would never ever suggest this to any desi People Traveling Around and searching Indian Restaurants me.. Hope will improve in future 🙂 #disappointed
Worst restaurant in town. Broken glass cups, dirty plates. Test lese food. We order paneer tikka masala. It was in white gravy. Who makes paneer tikka masala in white gravy.when we complain about it they didn’t have answer 🤷🏻♂️. Didn’t want to stay there for even one second so we paid in full and left. Never coming back to this restaurant. And not recommending anyone to come.
Don’t go there, their food taste horrible, every curry you order has same taste. My kids got sick eating from this place, we ordered chai & it taste like shit. When we spoke to front lady, she started to give us attitude. Nasty place, nasty food & nasty ppl.
We were very upset with the overall experience. The whole inside of the restaurant was smelling so bad , body ordor smell so we took the table outside. Tandoori Chicken - 4/10 Ambience - 1/10 Cleanliness - 1/10 Dal Tadka - 8/10 Geera Rice - 8/10 Naan - 8/10
Food was horrible order tandoori chicken it was dry and old they just heat up an old dish will never go back absolutely disgusting
Trust all the reviews. Do yourself a favor. Dont eat here no matter what. We ordered NAAN, Chicken tikka masala and palak paneer. Chicken tikka was microwaved, palak paneer was weirdly white . We got food poisoning eating here. Tea was terrible , mango lassi was worst we ever had. I’m Surprised they still in business. If that wasn’t all they add 15% service charge but try their best to hide it. Avoid at all cost I don’t care if this is da last place open in 100 miles radius and I’m starving. Not eating here
The food was excessively salty. We had lamb and chicken, and both were overly salty. Then we took about three naan, which tasted stale as soon as we put them in our mouths. They had just put some garlic on top. When we told them about it, they came and started behaving rudely with us.
Do not do here if it is your last option. Food tasteless, and not prepare fresh. My entire family got sick from eating here. Please don’t go here.
food just wasn’t good. watered down food karahi and jalfrezi were the same exact thing no difference. server was nice but that’s about all it offers.
The taste was not good and it's not worthy. The biryani is like tomato rice and chicken and lamp was not cooked properly. We wasted 100$
Halal food is very scarce in lake George. We drove around a bit and found this place. The food was disgusting. We were served rotten food. I showed the food to the man at the register and he said “ that’s not rotten. That salad is good. I would eat it.” We ended up walking out leaving the food untouched because they were unwilling to do anything about the food, expecting us to feed our children rotten food. Their attitude is just as disgusting as their food. We ended up at a seafood restaurant and later at a pizzaria. Save yourself the trouble and your money.
Absolutely a terrible place. We order two masala chai and chicken tenders and this is what we got. Tea was $4 it was so disgusting and that how they just gave us five pieces chicken nuggets instead of chicken tenders. This is a halal Pakistani, indian and Bangladeshi restaurant yet its the worse restaurant I have ever been to. Please stop using Bangladeshi name when u cant even provide good service. The owner was not friendly, bathroom was dirty, spider houses everywhere. No wonder there wasn’t anyone. I wont recommend anyone to go there especially u r hungry and looking for a nice halal place to eat.
I wish I could give no star at all, One of the worst food I have ever tasted in my entire life and I would not recommend visiting this place ever and no spice or salt and everything was watery. After talking 1st bite, we threw away all the food as you can see in pictures. Nd the pictures on their pages are totally different than what they actually gives us.
I rarely leave bad reviews, but Tandoori Grill in Lake George deserves one. This place was such a disappointment. The food had zero flavor, completely bland and tasteless. For a place that advertises bold Indian spices, I was shocked at how watered down everything tasted. On top of that, it’s ridiculously overpriced for what you get. Tiny portions, cheap quality, and they still charge like it’s fine dining. Honestly felt like a scam. The menu and photos make the food look way better than it actually is and totally deceiving. Save your money and appetite. There are way better options in Lake George. This place is not it.
Ordered chicken curry takeout and got a bowl full of oily soup. What is this? LOLOL!Never seen or even heard of desi curry this soupy. This is so bad it’s funny. Also think that this is definitely old leftovers that they served me. Paid $21 for this. Inedible. Unreal. I’ve driven past this place before and the parking lot is always empty except for mostly the employees. Now I know why. Advice: Read the reviews before you decide to spend money here lol
The worst food ever, rude customer service, the foods were bland and cold, the ratings should have been lower actually. Please dont visit if you want value for your money.
honestly don’t know how this place is still in business. Tandoori Grill served me one of the most forgettable, flavorless meals I’ve ever had. The chicken tikka looked the part but tasted like it had been boiled and waved in front of some spices from across the room. The curry was watery, bland, and somehow managed to taste like nothing and still be unpleasant. The naan had the texture of something that had been reheated five times and left under a heat lamp for six hours. Every bite felt like a punishment. I came in hungry and left confused, wondering if they forgot to cook half the food and just hoped no one would notice. What really blows my mind is how expensive this place is for food this bad. You’d think you were eating at a top-tier restaurant with the way they price things, but what you’re really paying for is disappointment. The pictures on the menu and online make the food look flavorful and legit, but what shows up at your table is a sad, low-effort mess. It’s borderline false advertising. Nothing matched what was promised, and everything tasted like it was made by someone who’s never even heard of seasoning. This was a complete scam. Do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else. Even instant ramen at home would be a gourmet experience compared to this.
This used to be our favorite Indian spot in Lake George. Came back today for the first time in years (we’re from out of state) and it was abysmal quality. We were so excited to love it, but the food was very blandly colored, no spice, and described as “gelatinous” by my local friend whom we took. We all got Korma, and it was all almost a beige color, unfortunately it doesn’t look like the Korma a few reviews down. I got it on the spicier side of things too, so you’d expect some color from spices. I wish I got a picture of it. Even supermarket Indian has more flavor. Not the restaurant’s fault but just unfortunate to top it off, my brother got an allergic reaction from it, and he eats Indian food weekly and this has never happened. I’m really sad to write this review as it really used to be our favorite, and a demand by my brother that we go there anytime we are in town. Unfortunately we will not be ordering here again.
BELIVE IN ALL THE BAD REVIEWS PLEASE , garlic naan was peta bread with garlic on it , cheese naan was pita bread stuff with cheese , bhatura was fried pita bread .. lol and kadai chicken was forzen and microwaved with maggie masala powder , DONT CHOOSE THIS RESTAURANT EVEN AS YOUR LAST OPTION, fasting would a better option , good for your health good for your wallet. and yeah inside furniture looks from 90’s thrift shop.
The food at Tandoori Grill was very disappointing. The chicken tikka masala and naan were a solid zero—completely lacking in quality. No salt in curry, no flavour, brick like bread. To make matters worse, the papadams were burnt, making it inedible. To the owner: Please don’t disrespect our deshi cuisine. If you’re serving Bangladeshi, Pakistani, and Indian food, do it authentically and with the quality that customers expect. When people dine out, they want their money to be well spent, not wasted on subpar food and poor service. This restaurant needs serious improvement in both food and service. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend dining here.
The food is very bad. No salt at all. When i mentioned that why there's no salt. They said that's how people eat it here. This place is a tourist spot, they supposed to ask people if they want less salt on the food or more.on top of that the food is overpriced. This is ridiculous. I don't know how they run the business. Worst food. They are total rip off. Food was not fresh either.naan was rock hard and burnt.chicken makhni was white in color which is terrible. Shrimp was not cooked. It felt like they just boiled it a bit and mixed up with some masala.nothing has salt. About mango lassi...they just mixed mango juice with water and added some ice on it... soooo cheap! Every food is watery...thry don't even cook with proper ingredients! Please whoever is reading this review... stay away from here at all cost! Horrible place to waste your money.
Atmosphere was good however the food?!?! Can’t believe the quality for the price. I expected so much better, with the cooking skills (not great) I have I truly believe I can make it better. Don’t recommend it. The photo was taken the day after from the restaurant across named Spice Gyro and Kabob. Look out for that review.
If you need good food please do not try this restaurant do not go with restaurant look. These folks can do much much better. The food is not in par with its taste. There was only one waiter who was running around the entire restaurant. Ordered chicken karahi but regretted on how to finish… Try some other place if you need good food. All the best…
