This site has a large seating area and a nice verity of seating. The customer service was good, and the food service was prompt. The food was fresh, hot/ warm, and even looked good when the burgers were unwrapped. Easy access and easy in and out to the interstate. Clean, very clean inside and out.
The service was pleasant; the food was whataburger quality. However, the cream gravy was a bit runny. The establishment was nice and clean.
Wow I wish I had the name of the cashier/manager that helped me. She was a Wow best customer service ever. She was on a roll. I loved the way she was handling a rush. Good job Whataburger take care of these type of employees. Thank you I gave her a verbal compliment.

I went to try the chicken sandwich and it was good, a good size, and the price was reasonable.
It's been awhile since I've been in region where I can indulge my Whataburger crave so first opportunity to get off highway and step to the counter I took it...quick courteous service...very well maintained...and table service on condiments...cant be beat by similar franchises of this type..

Update: The last time I visited, my experience was not great, and I shared my honest review. I received a follow-up email offering a complimentary meal to make up for it, which I truly appreciated. When I went back today, Sam, the manager, kindly comped my meal and made sure everything was fresh and right. I ordered a #11 chicken meal with a shake, and everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. Trinity was my server, and she was very pleasant and provided excellent customer service with a great attitude. I’m happy to say this visit turned things around, and I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for making it right!
This was my first time trying Whataburger and I was really impressed. The menu was small and easy to chose from, the prices were reasonable, and they bring the food to your table. I liked their sauce selections, my favorite was the jalapeños ranch. I got a double patty with jalapeños and cheddar and that burger was delicious. It wasn’t too greasy and it was filling. They had zero sugar lemonade which was great. First time at Whataburger but definitely not the last.

Slow, like every Whataburger these days, but decent enough.
Good food, great Mexican hot chocolate shake. Clean and warm, it's 24 degrees outside. Very convenient exit off I35 south and very easy to get back onto I35. Will definitely visit again.

The food was really good. The burgers and crunchy onion rings were prepared perfectly. They got everything in our order correct, and it wasn't much of a wait for our food, which was a surprise because they were super busy. The drive-thru was quick, which was also a surprise since most Whataburger drive-thrus take a minute. The only con was that the customer service wasn't too great. The gal who took our order was rather grumpy and not very friendly at all, but other than that, a great Whataburger!

Very slow at 12 am my food was not done
Pretty standard fare for Whataburger, as far as the food goes. But the dining room was a wreck. I know a storm had passed through prior to our arrival but the lack of maintenance was off putting. Check out the photos of what it looked like the entire time we were there. No one ever came over to clean it up or put out any extra warning signs as more water came in and it spread out.
Well they got my order right. My fries were hot. But the burritos I got the eggs look old and dry as hell. Usually I like breakfast cuz all that stuff I assume is fresh. I may have to try another place. At least they were nice.
Whataburger is definitely a Texas staple, My favorite meal is the Patty Melt, Fries and a Dr. Pepper Malt when available, it's a seasonal thing. For Breakfast I like the Breakfast Burrito with cheese please, And the size of the large is definitely as Large as Texas. Oh and the sweet tea is my 2nd favorite drink. What I like least after visiting some Whataburger's is the long lines, cold or refried fries, and old tea that has sat too long, or too sweet, sometimes the not sweet enough tea is ok, but it tastes watered down. I switched to the Patty Melt because My burger of Choice is A Cheeseburger, Mustard Lettuce and Onions only, but even after repeating it back it comes wrong in the bag. That was too frustrating to me, especially when the meal used to be 5 bucks and now it's three times that. I'm starting to move more to the MOM and POP spots for good burgers, my new thing is the smash burger joints, These type spots still make burgers to order just like you order it. Most have fresh locally resourced veggies. The buns are cooked on both sides on the grill and not in a toaster, And the meat is not microwaved to heat up. The grill marks are real and do not have chemically smoke flavor added. I like my fries just a potato diced and sea salt, not genetically modified Frankenstein Fries with 52 chemicals in them, I want my beef to be fresh ground beef, no added dies and chemicals, I want my chicken to be chicken, no hormones and antibiotics, don't die my veggies to look fresh, we all know it's shelf stored. YEAH I remember a time when you didn't have to read the Nutritional Value of a burger, It was Real Bread, Real Meat, Real Condiments, Real Veggies and Real Cheese, and don't get me started on the fake ice creams that have no dairy in it. It's too hard trying to keep up with who is trying to feed us at a reasonable price and which places are poisonous. Let's get better, let's do better, get this right, choose People over Profits, If the franchises from California can do it and pay the employees a liveable wage, Texas can too.
Pulled into the drive in for lunch during a road trip. Ordered 3 items: #6 with grilled onions, jalapeños, toasted buns with mayo & mustard, onion rings, a kids meal and spicy ketchup. The order was missing the grilled onions/jalapeños and spicy ketchup. I've never been to a Whataburger and I ordered this meal after being given the recommendation. The burger was good and it had the potential to be GREAT but alas, I'll never know because it was missing all that greatness. *sigh* 😢
I ordered a meal with a milkshake. They brought the food and tried to tell me I could come back another day for my milkshake. When I asked why, they said they had just put the mix in and that it might be a while. I said that's fine. Not two minutes later, another worker came over with my shake. Crazy
Long review alert. I went today for a makeup visit, the night before my food was not right. Well guess what the next night, it was the exact same which means "Houston we have a problem". Although the manager Sam was very courteous and helpful, the quality of food is still not to standard operating procedure. I have been a customer at this location for 6 years, so I know what good taste like. Ordered 2 Burgers plain all the way. I got a soggy, lettuce withered sandwich. Also got onion rings( half cooked). The only highlight was the strawberry shake, so I will have to get my burgers from In/out and my shakes from here. Please review the playbook for operating a whataburger, don't allow and short cuts and be what you are supposed to be. "What a burger"

Being that they're located off the highway it's always busy! Why wouldn't you have enough workers! Turnaround from ordering the food to delivery --- Needs drastic improvement... I order a single patty melt and had to wait 14 minutes -- I placed my order at 1223 and received my sandwich at 1237... I saw others who were waiting for extended periods of time as well.. I only waited because the sandwich is good
A larger woman who i think was the manager and a younger thin woman walked up to the front as slow as can be and we're both talking to each other before they even acknowledged us. We told them we had made online orders and the larger lady screamed to a boy in the back that we were there. The young Hispanic boy came and handed me my bag and went back to the back. We waited for almlst 15 minutes inside our semi after making order in the app before going inside and waited another 15 to 20 minutes for our food after going inside. We ordered a #2 meal large, honey BBQ chicken strip sandwhich MEAL Large, and the buffalo ranch chicken strip sandwhich by itself. I didnt even get my honey BBQ chicken strip sandwhich. I didnt check my bag because they took forever so I figured they gave me everything but they didnt. I drive a semi and cant just drive as much as I want. Im exhausted from work and wanted something quick to eat. I want my money back for the sandwhich I didnt get. Im not sure what is going on but they had full staff and it was dirty, the drinks were flat, the dining area was messy and it smelled like sour milk. The vooking are in the back was an absolute mess. Disappointing. I cant even go back because I only get a certain amount of time for PC. So either I get my money back or im missing out on money because these people. I spent 20 minutes in the drive through and there were only 4 cars ahead of me. I asked for no mustard but there was a trace of it on my burger and I hate mustard. Long waits for food seems to be very common at any Whataburger I've been to ever since the aftermath of Covid-19; they just never recovered, or maybe it's the crummy new ownership.
We don't normally come to this location, because the service is poor and the dining area always needs attention. There was trash and french fries on the floor. We wiped off our own table. There was no one tending to the dining area. It's better to drive farther to the location in DeSoto.
Any Whataburger fan who has visited a drive through has probably grown accustomed to longer than normal wait times for the trade off of higher quality food. This location has busted that myth with my last few visits. 20-30+ minute wait times in the drive through are the new normal with old and hard fries and burgers that are lukewarm at best. I can't recommend this location in good conscience to anyone who values their time, expects quality food or doesn't like wasting their hard earned money.

You know I understand everyone need a job and our generation worked as teenagers but this generation play too much and talk too much and more concern with social media and what's going on instead of working. I waited over 30 mins for an order where I was only supposed to be waiting on fries. And then the manager wanted me to wait how much longer to remake and whole order for 2 people. If it wasn't for my mom wanting her food then I would've left everything but the only reason I did that because it was just a plan burger but not just that there were 2 other people that came after me coming back to correct their order....I told them, "well at least you got yours." One lady I told her I seen her drive up and get her food before me, well it wasn't any better because she said she was in the drive thru and came in because the drive thru employee got.smart with her....these kids need some old school standards in their life. Rather this is just a paycheck to you....your work habits start there....check your attitude and your work behavior. I definitely hate to discriminate especially because us as a race have been going thru it since they stole us as people but sometimes I must agree especially with these kids today behavior and as everything else....it's not all.

I waited 30 minutes for two kids meals. Plenty of staff working there but they were just talking and taking their time. I worked at a fast food restaurant before and it’s obvious that those employees literally don’t care about their job.

By far my worst experience with a whataburger ever. People at the front counter made me repeat my order 3 times and they still managed to mess it all up. Ordered a #3 with cheese and a large fry and large drink they gave me a medium cup and medium fry and my burger didn’t come with cheese either. The lady that brought out my order asked if I wanted ketchup and then made me grab it from her tray. I ate my messed up meal didn’t then went to wash my hands in the bathroom and it was trashed and dirty all in the sink and urinals and then they were out of paper towels too. I don’t recommend maybe take the extra time to drive to a different location or go to a different restaurant because these people don’t know what they’re doing. My messed up burger was good tho.

If you are operating mainly by drive through or delivery you should make sure you get the orders right. When you pay extra for a slightly larger drink and ask for VERY LITTLE ICE that simple request should not be too hard to accommodate. This is why I am dissatisfied each and every time I have tried "youcallthataburger." They mess up the order each and everytime.
Today was my last try with this location. There are more than enough staff but there’s always a lot of playing and talking going! Management need to manage and create some boundaries with the employees! Today the location had 4 customers there’s no reason for my food coming out cold order incorrect! I was in the drive thru no one was in the lobby!
If I could give no stars I would , waited in the drive through line for 25 minutes then when I got to the window was told to pull up a little , waited another 20 minutes for just two regular #1 burgers … that’s it ! And 45 minutes later I walked in and asked about the food and it was just sitting on the counter . They had forgotten about us . On top of that no cheese on one of the burgers and the other one was supposed to be plain and was not . Horrible service. Should be shut down
I had a very unprofessional experience while dining with my family. A manager by the name of Jessica behaved very poorly with another employee. She yelled at him for not caring a third tray while he was already holding two full trays, as if he had an extra hand to carry more. She yelled at him in front of many guest which made my family uncomfortable. Do better whataburger !

I order via mobile app and had it take out, order went through at 4:39 and I got there at 4:47. App said it would be ready around 4:44-4:47. Check in tell them my name and watch 7 other customers order take out and get there’s before mine. I FINALLY received my order at 5:27, I am in a hotel tonight 3 minutes away and come in start eating immediately. EVERYTHING is cold. Worst experience I’ve had by far
Don’t even waste your time coming here. They’re gonna have you waiting for 30 minutes for a $10 meal. They didn’t know what they were doing and they had staff just walking around the restaurant and not helping customers out. Than when I went inside to get my food they just had it sitting on the counter and no one bothered to take it out to us after they told us to wait.
Hit or miss everytime i come here. Luckily they have a young man on the register that can make a burger the correct way. Has great work ethic. Shame that certain cooks there half make orders and slam your food down like it slop over there beside the grill.. last week i waited so long to place my order that i just walked out and went to wendy's..smdh

I arrived at whataburger at 11:50 pm I waited 20 minutes to place my order at the speaker . I ordered a shake was told they were not fixing fajita tacos . I waited an additional 15mins at the window for my shake . Drive thru / inside wait is horrible . It’s a lot of teenagers standing around playing instead of working . This location needs some serious help or they about to loose my business .
20 minutes for 2 biscuits? When they had no customers? Last time to come to this place. The manager gave a refund no questions asked when I went in to cancel the order. That was the only good part of the experience.
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. I now remember why I drive out of my way to go to red oak. Every single time I’ve come here there’s been an issue. The first time it was the sweet & spicy bacon burger missing the BACON and I just ordered breakfast and it was missing the sauce. Both times ended with a refund and going somewhere else or just back home to cook.
This location used to be a hit or miss,but here lately, it's just been a miss. The last past orders I've gotten from here hasn't been prepared right and just thrown together. And I would almost understand if I went when there when they were busy but the last couple of times I purposely went when they weren't.

This is the slowest whataburger I have ever been to. Sitting in the drive thru over 30 minutes without ordering and then waiting another 15 after ordering is ridiculous. Then once your close to the order box you are pretty much stuck because there's no way to exit. One car has jus been sitting at the order box 10 minutes.
Don’t even order your burger with no mustard or with extra pickles, etc. They will ignore it and just toss a burger in your bag. Never going back again.

I ordered (2) 3 piece tenders only. Menu price shows $5.19. I was charged $5.19 once, then $2x3strips. I questioned the change in price and the manager gaslit me telling that it's the same thing. She said when she puts $5.19 in her system TWICE, it comes up to $11.19 because it includes the tax. I was puzzled on why a cash register would defy all logics of basic math but the line was long and I wanted to be considerate to the patrons behind me so I accepted her reasoning and drove off. Of course when I got home, I looked at my receipt and sure enough, I was charged an extra 81 cents. I will be calling corporate to complain. It's the principle not the money!
Arrived at the drive through at 12:05 AM, it is currently 12:45 AM and we have just pulled off with our food. I'm usually not one to complain but 35+ minutes is kind of wild to me. The person at the box was very kind it's just the wait that had myself and those in the car slightly perturbed.
I just left here about 30 minutes ago. Waited almost 30 minutes then they put one small piece of bacon and left off the eggs on the salad. They need more trained staff and a manager who orders the correct amount of food! The young man outside was doing great and trying his best! 💪

We got dinner at 10pm, paid $50+ just to get home to find out none of our orders had fries. 5 meals with no fries. Spoke with the manager kayla who stated we could go back to either get the fries or get cash back. After I asked if she could remake our meals since we would have to go back due to a issue they made she claimed we could only get 3 meals remade. I understand it is better than nothing but how do you forget 5 fries for 5 meals. This whataburger needs to get their act together.
I’m actually sitting in the drive thru as I type this review…. It’s approximately 12:34AM Friday August 1st I’ve literally been sitting here 30 minutes in the drive thru….. I blame myself for continuously coming to this location. It’s staffed by teenagers that really don’t want to be here… their service is slow and god forbid you hold or add a item… it’s gonna be a struggle to get it made the way you asked…. and if it’s wrong do not tell them…the looks from them will burn a hole in your soul…. This was my first and last time coming to this location. Went to the drive through, had to wait 45 minutes for my order. After waiting 30 minutes outside. Finally got angry and waited another 15 minutes inside.They literally forgot to cook my order, the manager didn't try to refund my money or make things right only said she was sorry and wanted to make things hot and fresh for me. How do you forget to cook someone's order after u paid and given your name. Very unacceptable!!
The fries were not made fresh and my sandwich, while not ice cold, was Luke warm at best. Upon further inspection of the sandwich, it was of poor presentation. GUYS, the "just send it" mentality doesn't work. The first thing a customer does is inspect their food! The only decent thing about this order was the Dr. Pepper itself. My server, when I told her thank you, replied with "mhmm." As if either nonchalant or just don't care. I say again, when doing customer service, you absolutely can NOT have this sort of attitude. As a side, I'm from out of town and have been served better quality food from the store I visit back home!

Order two orders of the whatawings The sweet and spicy not only did they give us burnt chicken crusts with hardly any meat but they didn't even put the sauce on the chicken so we took it back up there and told them that they did not prep our food correctly and they proceeded to just give us a bowl of sauce to do it ourselves and told us that was the best they could do this is not the first time something like this has happened there either

This is the most horrible Whataburger I've experienced. The food at must Whataburger are made to order. At 11 pm my significant other went through the drive through, men don't check food. 7 mins away from the house, he arrived with cold burgers, hard brown fries. Everything was horrible. Then I call to speak with the manager Claudia, who's nonchalant about the order, ask me do I want to come back to get another order. no I'm at home now. As I'm typing this I go to drink the Sprite which is nothing but water down. Don't waste your time going over there. I told her that this is unacceptable and then they have no business sending this type of food out the window. Whataburger is held at a highest standard than most burger joints I'm so disappointed and I would never ever go to that Whataburger ever in life. Wish I had read the reviews before stopping at this location. It took us 37 min to get our order. When we finally did, one of the burgers was made wrong, and our fries were cold and dry. We were not the only ones waiting. There were at least 4 other families waiting for food. When they got their orders, we noticed 2 people take their food up because they were also given messed up orders. The establishment could have been a lot cleaner. It seemed as the workers did not care either. Many were congregating and dancing around. Will definitely not stop here again.

My entire order was incorrect. Only two of the burgers had cheese, even though I paid an additional $0.60 per slice and should have received it on all of them. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated that I waited in line, was rushed through ordering, and still received incorrect food. I had been out all day running errands and came home exhausted, looking forward to a meal I believed was prepared properly. By the time I realized the mistake, the store was already closed, making it pointless to return. Food is expensive, and money is not easy to come by. This situation is unacceptable. I understand that it’s Christmas Eve and employees want to get home to their families, but customers still deserve accurate orders—especially when we are the ones supporting the business. Please do better, Whataburger.
Placed order for breakfast 35 min before a meeting and never received order because I had to make this meeting. It's shame for 2 tacos they can't get it right. Breakfast food should be ready and to serve people. There was enough staff just bad organization and no respect for people time. It sad I can't spend money on my own community due to lack of service.
Waited an hour for an online order, ordered a shake, was told machine was down then see some order after and get there shake, manager seemed to be speaking rudely to employees, last time ordering from here. Manager read my order out loud was told it was someone else’s and another employee proceeded to check compartment manager put my order and handed me the same bag manager said wasn’t mine.
The staff is purposely slow and very rude. Whether I get food for myself or if I’m waiting for a personal, online order, I always wait 20+ minutes. There’s plenty of staff on but they move like syrup.
I haven’t visited this location in a year and now I remember why. They are slow and have no desire to work. You applied for the job and agreed to the terms of employment. We waited 30 minutes for FAST FOOD. The guy in the restaurant didn’t even get that chance. He stood there for 15 minutes waiting to even be acknowledged. He finally gave up and left. Who in the heck is nightime management?? The restaurant was also dirty. Is there no pride in doing a good job? This is why I’d visit any other location but this one. Spent $30 for poor service and overly salted fries. If we weren’t in a rush—this location wouldn’t have gotten a dime from me. Do better or get a new job.
This location is extremely slow. I waited almost an hour to receive my food. I waited a good 15 mins at the window, before I was asked to pull up and and another 20 mins or more after. My food was hot but the chicken on my honey chicken biscuits looks so old. Everything should've been fresh.
Everytime I want to come here and get a salad past 10 pm they lie and say they are out of salad when that is an absolute lie!!!! Salad should be the easiest thing to make and I know it’s a lie cause one day I came and complained and the manager came and answered and said they can make it, mind you this was at 2 am and the only time they made it at this time. I hate to complain but that’s lazy especially when yall are the only place open late at night to make food. Also last week I ordered a wrangler burger and got a whole sweet and spicy what was that even about?
