Obregon's Mexican Restaurant #2 Laredo Reviews
Home style food, delicious. Friendly staff
Excellent food tastes like homemade. Tortillas are fresh and delicious. Will be back.
Stopped here on a whim while passing through the area and were gladly surprised! We tried the gorditas, guacamole, enchiladas divorciadas, and agua fresca. Everything was great! The gorditas were freshly made and the best I've had in a very long time. Although it was a little messy when we arrived, it seemed to be shift change, and the incoming server quickly cleaned up the place. The pricing was appropriate, so we definitely recommend trying this spot!
Is there anyplace more local and legit? Maybe Numero Uno? I had a Tostada Siberia to go. It took about half an hour to eat. It might have had 2 shredded chicken breasts, topped with fresh and thick Crema, sitting on top of wonderful Guacamole. Add some of that creamy orange Salsa de Chile Arbol, and call it a day!
The place was packed when I got there (Lunch Time) The ladies were able to sit me down quickly and get my other in. The tacos 🌮 were very good and good portions. Great place and good prices.
Just good eating here homemade flour tortillas and corn tortillas as well I like the ranch eggs breakfast here. I order gordita's one pork skins one sheared meat one ground beef. There good in size so order wisel. They a a good menu. Good service gets busy at times. It's on Market st near the railroad tracks. I hope you enjoy your time eating there. Thanks for reading this. Be blessed.
Corn tortillas seem to be home made, thick and not to my liking. However the tacos are nicely filled. Good customer service. Old school feel to the location. Would go again.
This is a cool spot, it is a small restaurant but gives that authentic feel. Anyways, I tried the Torta deluxe which was tasty but I knocked off a star because I literally only got 5-6 fries which still left me hungry. I also tried the tostada Siberia which I have posted a pic. I was more impressed with the tostada because it filled me up and it didn't have sides, compared to the Torta deluxe. The waiter was attentive and the food was out relatively quick. The staff A+++. The food is good but I'm gonna give it an A- just because I could count my fries with that torta deluxe meal. Parking is weird. There's few spaces in front of the actual restaurant. It shares with the Maquinitas place next door so you may not get the close parking because of people that go to the Maquinitas place. Although, there's a huge lot next to the restaurant but you have to drive around the barrier.
They have specials. Food is fast and good. Flour and corn tortillas are so good. They have someone making them by hand.
Our food was delicious. The portion was decent as well as the price. They have hand sanitizer available at the entrance for customers, and recommend masks. They still have laminated paper menu's, so hopefully they add some kind of cleansing after each customer. Other than that, it was a great experience!
Always go to Obregon's when my family comes from out of town, my brother in law always orders Chicken Enchiladas in Salsa Verde, he loves that dish. Excellent homemade corn and flour tortillas with great small restaurant atmosphere with good service.
Sorry but the beans were not hot, rice same. The liver was cut up but it was not fresh no flavor. It was hard to chew. Lemonaide was good, tortillas were great. Will not be back sorry.
Extremely bad service. Order was wrong. Lady was rude. Tortillas nasty and no flavor on taco a la Mexicana.
Got my order completely wrong. I called to let them know and the lady was very rude and did not care to even apologize for the inconvenience. Do not recommend.
Really need a much more friendly staff to be honest, not really a service with a smile kind of place. Then they I asked if they had a specific dish available they said yes took our order then came back a few minutes late saying they didn't anymore.
