Rok Lauderhill Reviews
Regular food & the BBQ is really good. We rented the karaoke room and the song selection was pretty good but the room itself is a bit dingy. Would definitely go again, cheapest private room karaoke place in south Florida. Plus there's a great Asian Market next door.
I would sacrifice my first born child for ROK if they asked me to. Literally best restaurant of all time. All you can eat is great, my favorite is a bibimbap (rice bowl) with bulgogi and spicy pork. Mix it with gochujang and soy sauce and it's 🔥🔥🔥 service is also top notch and can't be beat. We love ROK!!!!
So I’ve been to many restaurants, especially Korean and this one is not bad. I will add this to my list of spots to check out but it could be better. For starters, they only have plain flavored Soju which was sad. Plain Soju is good but flavored is so much better. They do have hite beer on the upside. I really loved the presentation of the food. It’s buffet style and to sum it up, you select the protein that you want to eat and then they bring it out to your table in large portions. The best tasting was the pork belly. It was like bacon before it gets crunchy. Before the protein comes out, they will provide a variety of side dishes which are also buffet style. You can have as much as you can handle. If anyone is on a Keto diet, this place would be like heaven. The remainder of the menu are a la cart items. I em got the chicken wings and they have a very sweet sticky sauce. Call me crazy but I tend to take the wings and dip them in eel sauce, UH-MAZING. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat good for a good price. Another thing, if you are taller than six foot, I don’t recommend the booth seating as it is kinda tight.
I’ve been here more times than I can count. Amazing food and service. I leave satisfied and rested. Everytime I come in I feel like I traveled through tough terrain, and I come into this tavern to eat my first meal. It can fuel me for a few weeks.
Of the two Korean BBQ Ayce in the area (this one and Chow One), this one was by far my favorite. Chow One looks more impressive and allows you to cook your own food, but ROK simply was just better and the service could it have been more attentive. The Kalbi was excellent as it always is, but the other selections are where they shine. The Spicy Pork, Bulgogi, and chicken were simply excellent. The pork belly was crispy but admittedly not. marinated. Even the salad had us wanting more. We were beyond full when we left and thankful we made the right choice this time.
AMAZING!! When I tell you to get the salad, get the salad. I don't know what that dressing was but I wanted to drink it!! And the fried donuts with the drizzle..WHAT?!? I was scraping my finger to get every drop. Can't wait to go back. Our waiter was also great. Great service, fast and great food.
Rok offers all-you-can-eat BBQ (AYCE) with a set offering - no doggie bags. We did a la carte. Bulgogi, dol sat bibimbap, odeng soup (like japanese oden), and tteotbokki rice cake w/ ramen. Plus tea, milkis (Lotte brand, sugary carbonated milky/yoghurt beverage. Yoghurt reg or melon flavors. Smells likr bubble gum. 🍲🍵🍢 Oh, and funnel cake dessert. Every table gets ban-Chan? The multiple little dishes (ours were kimchi, sprouts, white jelly (I forget what it is), potato salad (helps balance out the spicy dishes), sweet beans (ive never seen these at a Korean place before, but they were great), egg (very intimately wrapped with diced veg - like the japanese tamago sushi 🍣), and tofu slices. Friendly service, menu with something for everyone. Its literally next to Manna in the shopping center. Will definitely go again.
Oh my goodness, it's past midnight.I can't even wait to get home to write this review. I haven't had korean food this good since I was in koreatown in new york. I am seriously so blessed to have stumbled upon this restaurant tonight. You can taste the heart that they put into their food. So much passion and love. My waiter joe did a fantastic job of taking care of me and giving me a little rundown of the restaurant. This is a family business who's chef is clearly putting everything he's got into his food. and let me not even talk about the kimchi. I've already decided.I'll be spending my birthday here in a few months. Highly recommend this restaurant. Wow
My friends and I absolutely love it here, it’s our go-to. Everything that I have ordered so far has hit the spot. My favorite is the pork belly, rice cakes, and side dishes! Sandy is also super sweet, as well as the rest of the staff!
Exceptional Experience! I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant last minute before closing, and it turned out to be an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, and the staff, especially our server Sandy, went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Sandy's service was nothing short of amazing – attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. She made excellent recommendations, ensuring we tried some of the best dishes on the menu. The attention to detail and genuine care for our satisfaction truly stood out. Now, let's talk about the food – it was a culinary delight! Every dish was prepared with precision, bursting with flavor, and served promptly. The chefs clearly take pride in their craft, and it shows in every bite. Overall, this restaurant exceeded my expectations, thanks to Sandy's outstanding service and the exceptional quality of the food. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience. I'll definitely be returning and spreading the word about this fantastic find!
We absolutely loved our time this evening. Sandy was our server and was such a sweetheart. The service was impeccable and the food was AMAZING, and we loved that we didn’t have to cook it! We both got the upgraded “all you can eat” and enjoyed everything! My fiancé and I are frequent KBBers and are so happy to have found this gem! Fresh food, amazing service and so close to our home!
Best AYCE Korean Restaurant at South Florida. They always welcome us in and make us feel like family!
Best Korea Food in this city! The owner and Chief from Korea for sure, and everything taste just like you were in Korea right the way 👏 Love their fish cakes ,hot-stone-rice and spicy seafood tofu pot which is super yummy for me 😙 those sauce was delicious and traditional. Don’t pay much attention about the inside decors, it’s not the main point for foody 🤣 And every dishes they were doing it’s down-to-earth! You can feel from their good family warm heart together. Price is more reasonable than others!Definitely recommend for Korean food lovers, and they open late, that’s super awesome to me!
Our family loves coming here. We have brought five different sets of friends and they have all loved it also. Service at times can be slow but the food never disappoints. Sandy and Mike are the best. Update... Still the best Korean BBQ restaurant in Broward county.
Delicious Korean BBQ, including all you can eat. Friendly fast service in a casual relaxed setting. Have tried several dishes from the menu and there is still a lot left to try.
The food is great and the staff just as great. They make you feel at home. Always ready to strike a conversation. I can't seem to stop going here every weekend.
Pretty descent place food was on pint service was excellent. Buffet was huge and regular items was great as well
Very friendly service and delicious food they entertain you with appetizers like black beans in soy sauce which is crazy taste loved it oh my GOD! 😍
Rok korean restaurant is a great place to go for Korean food, I ordered their Kalbi, A La Carte meal on the front page of their menu. The kalbi or korean beef short ribs were delicious . The sides were good, they come cold, and they give refills on the sides. They even have a karaoke room in the back to sing with your own private group for $25 per hour. Nice place to eat and have a fun night out.
My friend drives here from Miami for the All-You-Can-Eat special, wow what a deal! We love the Beef Bulgogi, Chicken Dakgalbi, Spicy Pork, and Pork Belly. The Ban Chan consists of really good kim chi, omelet roll, green salad, potato salad, fish cake, bean sprout salad, seasoned black beans, and soup. We’ve come here with her regularly for over 2 years and have always enjoyed it. The atmosphere is always relaxed and convivial and we like to toast with our soju and yell “Gombae!” It truly is all you can eat and it’s all delicious.
Great all you can eat Korean bbq. The food is cooked to order in their kitchen and brought to the table. Great service and friendly staff. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Different from traditional all you can eat KBBQ. It's a place where the food comes already prepared so that you don't smell like the food once you leave the place. I honestly think they make the best chicken here because chicken breast is so moist and perfectly cooked. Pork belly is excellent as well. Well, everything is pretty darn delicious. One star is docked because lack of meat option for the price compared to different competitors out there. I have not been to a kbbq place that doesn't serve brisket strips.
We walked in on a Sunday a little closer to 8pm. Waited 5min for a table for 3. The service was pleasant and fairly quick - noticed there was 1 server doubling as buser and 1 food runner on floor. The prices are fair. The portions are decent. We wanted to try the Kalbi rib option, but they were out. We went with the basic all you can eat BBQ option minus the marinated chicken - we tried the pork belly, spicy pork and bulgogi beef. All 3 meats were good - the spicy pork was a bit salty. The bulgogi had a sweet flavor, and the pork belly was delicious. BE AWARE : They don't have overhead vents, so you don't actually cook the meat yourself, it comes out cooked. A plus in my book because I love Korean BBQ but dread cooking it. This was a win win for me! The unlimited banchan was fantastic. My favorite was the kimchi, fish cakes, spicy cucumbers, potato salad, and the onions. Didn't care for the salad or black beans. The miso soup was good too, very different with a slight spice. The white rice was hot, soft and pillows very good companion for the meat and soup. Would come back and would recommend a visit!
Great Korean choices for any foodie located in an area with a lot of Korean options (two Korean restaurants, a Korean bakery, and a Korean grocery store in the same shopping center!) The servers are friendly, almost everything tastes fresh, and they offer pretty authentic side dishes. The soft drinks are canned, so pace yourself. Although they do offer all you can eat options for those that come extra hungry. Recommended: the spicy rice cake, beef fried rice, kimchi pajun, and the bibimbap. Not Recommended: their Korean fried chicken wings. If you’re looking for authentic korean fried chicken, this is NOT the place. Try the chicken karage instead. Also not recommended: Friday nights. Theres a karaoke room in the back that is not soundproof. Expect to hear loud singing during your meal anytime after 7pm on the weekends.
The service is amazing.very attentive and willing to explain the menu and dishes when arrived at table. The food was amazing, came from the kitchen prepared. I had the bulgogi and chicken the bulgogi was different from the thin steak I’m used to but it was still very good, the chicken was marinated well and the sides were good. Also the Pom wine was def a hit
There are 3 Korean BBQ restaurants in this same area, next to each other. We've tried all 3. Rok is our top choice. Food is good and affordable. We normally go for their All You Can Eat Upgraded Buffet. Which includes Bulgogi, Spicy Pork, Pork Belly, Marinated Chicken, and Ribs (Kalbi). Includes Miso Soup, Side Dishes (Ban-chan), Scallion Salad, Rice. All for $32 per person. They cook it for you and when you run out just ask for more. My favorites are the Kalbi and the Marinated Chicken. They also have a menu if you prefer this option. The only thing I don't like is the ambience. It's a bit depressing, gloomy, lacks cozyness and it's not the most welcoming one despite being ran by family. Service is a bit slow too. If you just go for the food, you'll enjoy it. Just don't expect a great atmosphere.
🔥🌶🌶yummy spicy food. The young woman who waited on us was very friendly and gave us good guidance for ordering. My 2 sons devoured the food. Slow burn they said, but loved it. Huge portions...... we shared 4 plates. The kimchee was very tasty. Our first experience eating Korean food went very well. The boys are setting a date for the next visit. Very cozy and family friendly. Service was quick and friendly. We will be back soon. 🌶

As much as I loved this place I had to stop going all together. The staff has always been super friendly and I love the late hours. Unfortunately I have gotten sick with a horrible stomach bug at least 4 times after eating the pork belly. At first I wasn’t sure it was the pork belly but after taking a break and coming back, there was no mistake. I’m not sure if the meat is being stored improperly or what. It’s always random too. This was my favorite thing on the menu so now there is no point in me coming back. Their rice cake with ramen and calamari is pretty good. I tried to give ROK multiple chances but risking being in pain all the next day is not worth it. Please cook your dishes properly before someone gets seriously sick.
I want to start off by saying that I love Korean food so despite a previously negative experience, I was really excited to come here again. The vibe was chill, the servers were polite, and the interior was organized and clean. I also like that they are open late, which allowed me to stop by after work. However, this time the meat was super salty and the service was again unbearably slow. Because of that I don’t see myself coming here again
The service was great, but the food was bland. I expected to taste the Thai flavors and seasonings. But I left unsatisfied. There was a nice atmosphere and I might visit again and order something different that may change my opinion.

Food was just very ok. We were the only diners in the restaurant the entire time. I won’t be back here there are other better restaurants.
New Year’s Eve I wanted to order something really good so I spend 140$ and was so excited only to get so disappointed, half of the dishes were so bad that we lost our appetite, when they charged you so much for a dish u expect it to be at least decent ,but only the dumplings and beef bulgogi were pretty good , but the rest made me feel ripped off. The pork had so much breading on and it was way to overcooked , the color of it was almost black , y not remake it ,if u make a mistake ? And the calamari was very tiny peaces and such small amount of it ,not enough that it was impossible to chew , it was like rubber ,I ddnt even eat it,and I was hungry i usually eat anything when im hungry. I only leave good reviews ,but im so disappointed it completely ruined my mood ! Never eating here again !

We ate here in the past when food and service was good. Quality of both has gone downhill fast. The server brought us our kimchi pancake appetizer at the end of the meal after we finished our entrees. She finally refilled our waters as we waited for our check and then had the nerve to charge gratuity. We will not be going out of our way to dine here again.
The restaurant was terrible, the food was overpriced and not that good. We got the unlimited barbecue option and after they brought the food once, it took 1 hour to get them to bring more. It was a terrible experience and I will not be visiting again.
Terrible service, only came to give us the food and we waited forever with only two other tables in the restaurant. We had to get up to ask for the check cuz the server never came back to our table and they had the audacity to charge an automatic tip for someone then never came to table. I think he knew our service was awful and charged us 20%. The food was average at most with the rice cakes being well over cooked.
I always order the soon tofu soups take out. The soup its suppose a large side. Put I just receive a small one. Also the soup have a egg. I ask the server, she told me its inside. Put there is no egg in side my soup and outside. This restaurant the price going up a lot. Each item price go up more than 3-5 dollar. But the food is not good. A year before is good, now every times I order is missing something. And all the food is taste worse than before.
Will not be going to this place again. Starting with service, there were two waitresses, it seems that only one of them was doing most of the work. The restaurant was almost full. One of the waitress had some long nails, which were in some of the side dishes. Okay, lets talk about the food. We ordered the Beef Short Ribs, Fried Rice and Salad. The salad came immediately, however, the rest of the food took about 30 to 40 minute to arrive. The fried rice was good, but the beef short ribs were terrible. It was tough, dried, chewey, and definitely not marinated enought. We could not eat the beef, we ask for containers to take the food and the check. We will recooked post photos. Will post photos of what we received and after it is recooked. Stay away from this place. Following day, we recooked, it turned out like it is supposed to be. Soft and well marinated.

It took 3 hours to get two plates of food, and we were the only party there. Our waitress was texting behind the counter the entire night. And then was rude about splitting the bill. Do not recommend.
