Aldebaran delivers a charming dining experience with its prime seaside location, providing a perfect backdrop of ocean views. The added convenience of parking right on the main road makes the visit even smoother. We started by renting an umbrella for 30 euros, which, although slightly expensive, was a fair trade-off for the comfort and proximity to the beach. The meal began with a pizza topped with pesto, which was more reminiscent of focaccia. While it was decent, it didn't quite meet our expectations for a traditional pizza. However, the mixed fried seafood was a highlight, offering a fresh and tasty assortment. The pesto trofie pasta also did not disappoint, capturing the local flavors well. For drinks, we had 3 beers, which complemented the meal nicely. To finish, we indulged in a slice of meringata cake for dessert. The cake was light, sweet, and delicious, drizzled with chocolate syrup that added a satisfying richness. All in all, our total came to 77 euros, which included 3 Amari to round out the evening. While the price isn't on the lower end, it felt reasonable given the quality of the food, drinks, and the stunning location. Aldebaran is a solid choice for those looking to enjoy a meal by the sea with beautiful views. While some dishes stood out more than others, the overall experience was pleasant and worth the visit.

Brainy quiz Pizza round for two, one pizza each in 1.40 hours: a Margherita and a ham and mushroom. The owner made random excuses, and after the waitress told us it was only one pizza each, he denied it. No apology, not even a drink offered. No more tourist traps.

Please note that this is not the menu listed here... there was only one fish-based first course, and it only featured anchovies, so check carefully. The dishes were small, which is a shame because both the first course (spaghetti with clams) and the second course were very good. I definitely won't be returning due to the limited menu.

Sunday, the June 2nd long weekend, no gorgonzola, brie, and not enough raw ham on the pizza because "they just reopened." It's a shame because despite the friendly staff, it's impossible to be unorganized and make pizzas without the usual cheeses. Excellent sea view.

I happened to be at the beach today! Hoping for a relaxing day!! But...unpleasant staff, poor customer service, hostile and unfriendly atmosphere!!! It's not as true as advertised...what more can I say...better not say anything else...not recommended!!

Unfortunately, we stumbled upon it today by accident, and while I'm sure I'll never return, I strongly advise against it. The establishment is old and neglected, bordering on dilapidated (1980s-style, with the latest renovations likely done around the same time), and the showers are practically unusable if you're concerned about your health, despite the service costing a fee. We had lunch inside, and despite the low turnout (there were probably 10 of us in the entire bar/restaurant), it took us an hour to eat a sandwich and a dish mistakenly passed off as fish and chips (not entirely edible, and especially not appetizing). We asked for lemon for our beer, which obviously never arrived, and 15 minutes after requesting coffee, we went to get it at the counter, where we realized that customer service is lacking because everyone is too busy talking to each other or on their phones during service. The glasses and cutlery are unusable (despite the cover charge), and given the cleanliness, I preferred not to use them. The outdoor shower didn't work properly and had a timer of exactly 5 seconds. The spartan beachfront location is fine, but a lick of paint every now and then wouldn't be a bad idea. Unfortunately, I can't give it 0 stars, but it would be deserved. The price is completely out of line with the quality and service provided, both in terms of the establishment and the food. To top it all off, what I believe to be the owner made some unkind comments to the poor waitress. She probably doesn't mind them (even if they weren't directed at us, they still bothered me) or she's simply used to them, but I think it's very unpleasant and shows extreme rudeness.

We had a reservation for 9:30 PM and arrived at 10:20 PM. Let me start by saying we called to let them know we were late. When we arrived, they sat us down at the table, then forgot about us for 10 minutes and made us wait for the menu. Once the menu arrived, another 15 minutes passed before they came to take our order, and when they did, they told us that the kitchen had sold out of practically ALL the dishes on the menu and that only pizza and a few main courses remained. That's not how you do it. You don't seat people by not communicating that the menu had unfortunately changed, thus forcing diners to opt for pizza (the only dish available). Poor communication from the waitresses towards the customer, and they didn't even offer us a discount for the inconvenience. The pizza was below par. They also messed up one of our fish dishes; it was supposed to be a tartare, but instead it was seared tuna. Total of €109.30, which they asked to round up to €110 so that the five of us could each pay €22. THIS IS NOT DONE EITHER. Round down, not up. Highly poor service with no regard for customers.
