5 stars for a fully gluten free menu! Delicious! We had to seat ourselves due to the short staffing, but we were served and everything was great.

Have gone there several times. Fun environment, friendly servers, and delicious food. Chips and cheese are so good! Their french fries with house made ketchup is so good! Try their time out margaritas with a tajin rim! The owner is also very welcoming and makes sure everything is running smoothly.

This place is an amazing local hangout. Very friendly staff and guests make for a fun time every time. Come early for the Bloody Marys or stay late for the after party. All the food is gluten free and they are always doing things to make it a good time. They do sing along bingo; karaoke, crawfish boils, and a weekly Queen of Hearts drawing for your chance to win some serious money.

Small restaurant off of Crystal Falls with a great outdoor patio, and bar! The happy hour has a ton of good deals on it and they have plenty of TVs to catch a game! I have been a few times after golfing at Crystal Falls GC and it’s the perfect place to get a cold drink and some pretty good food! Definitely worth checking out for a margarita and a quick bite!

The soft shell fish taco was fantastic. Chicken quesadillas and chicken wings were loved by the gluten free child. Chicken nuggets and fries were a favorite of our youngest. No chance for cross contamination!!

Our party of 5 dined at noon today and used the outdoor seating for dining, excellent service, food and atmosphere, our server Gracie was fantastic, if she keeps rockin' that positive friendly personality and that big smile she'll go far in life! We took our older cousin there on his recommendation, we'll be back

Late afternoon GO! Order a sauce and chips sampler but MAKE sure you get a ranch jalapeño, bacon bean, and queso dip in there and upgrade to Cauliflower Chips! You wont be disappointed.

This is our 4th time to Guaco Taco. The food and service was great. We have never gone on a Saturday mid day and never eaten inside. We always eat outside on the patio. We picked the wrong day to eat inside. The Texas Longhorns were playing and of course the game was on. It was very busy and the TV was extremely loud. So loud, that we had to shout to speak across the table to family members. It was very difficult to carry on a conversation and my head hurt. I won't do that again.

Great find! We were just passing through going to the airport and stopped here for lunch, and were pleasantly surprised! The best salsa I’ve ever had was served with my carne asada tacos. So much meat came on the tacos, and very fresh!

5 stars purely for the size of these tacos! Very chill place, good service at a random 2pm afternoon. Queso is white cheese with very mild pico. The individual serving was perfectly portioned. Definitely get the medium or large for more than one person. Taste was great, and the chips are fried tortilla corners, with very light seasoning. Mexican Gumbo is a fun and flavorful concept. Basically a Mexican soup with rice and taco meat, corn, diced peppers, I opted for carnitas, and whooo boy, the carnitas here is sensational. Probably not worth the cost, but it's fun to load up onto a chip, and it's a pleasant texture experience. The Cure comes with a hard fried egg, I'd opt for bacon and soft fried next time. The sausage wasn't worth mentioning. The Angus Beef was pretty mid, if I'm being honest. Meat was decent, not a lot of flavor, better than some. I'd skip it in favor of the other options. The meat monster was wild. I understood why they included a fork with my meal. Carnitas, shredded chicken, and ground beef, loaded with cheese and pico. Freaking phenomenal. The most cost effective taco, and sampler of most of the meats. Again, the carnitas being a real standout, but the ground beef has a very strong, very good seasoning. Will likely find an option just to isolate the ground beef option next time. All of the salsa options were incredibly tame. Not my preference, but were fine. Green sauce has a small tingle. Red sauce is pretty typical, but has the appearance of bite, though it has none. Hawaiian is pure candy - not my preference, but probably really good with a sausage taco. I'll be back simply for the quantity of food. A couple of meat monsters and I'm good! And I would be curious to bring my kids to try the kiddo options, given the outdoor area for them to wander about.

I was determined to visit this place on my recent trip based on all the gluten-free reviews, but was surprised to see regular beers on their menu. This prompted me to ask about their gluten-free protocols and I was told the kitchen is a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, but the bar is not. I did make a reservation ahead of time, but when I arrived on a Friday evening it was not super crowded, there were still a few tables open. My server, Hunter, was super nice and even encouraged me to try some new things. I'm not a fan of anything spicy and Hunter recommended I try the jalapeño ranch as it "wasn't spicy". If you don't like spicy or jalapeño flavors then I don't recommend the jalapeño ranch. I did order a side of sour cream and it came in these really cute packets. I didn't need the sour cream as their Mexican slaw was delicious and improved upon the yummy tacos. I ordered the fish taco and shrimp taco, both were good, but needed the help from the Mexican Slaw to make them tasty. I decided to try the churro chips for dessert instead of ordering any more tacos, and it was good but very messy. The place has a chill vibe and even has areas for dogs. I would go back next time I'm in town.

Guaco Taco is one of our go-to-for-grub-places in Leander for happy hour and patio dining. They have wonderful food and yummy drinks. Checkout the picture of my BeachBum daiquiri Amanda made for me. It tastes as good as it looks! The patio is huge and has plenty of shade to keep you cool. It’s also pet friendly - which is a perk for us because we take Cuatro and Rita with us everywhere. Wes is a great cook! I love their loaded fries with carnitas. They have a cauliflower quesadilla option that is super filling and a healthy alternative to the boring tortilla. Guaco Taco is also very supportive of our community and hosted several podcasts for the Leander Lions Varsity Football Team. Basically, If you haven’t tried Guaco Taco, you just aren’t cool like me. Soaked plans to go to Guaco Taco 🌮

Very inexpensive food. Margaritas were very tasty. Food was good and plenty. We would definitely come back.

We both enjoyed our tacos: chicken and shrimp, respectively. The queso was really good, too. It wasn't mustard-yellow like you generally see--it clearly was made with real cheeses.

Great drinks and the tacos are good. I am not too satisfied with the pricing of a few items...a large fry is $12 and they changed the box size to a smaller box but upped the cost. I also paid $12 for a kids tender w/fries but the menu says $7. I asked how my cost increased to $12 she said because I got fries. So for a kids meal theres an additional $5 charge. I should have just gotten a regular adult size meal. and on top of that the amount of fries and tender was not worth $12. Not satisfied about this. But I will return for drinks because it's close to my house. Very unfortunate to post about this.

Guaco Taco is just around the corner, so we gave it a try on a Friday evening, with delivery via GH. As general observations, I would say the food was very disappointing. The red salsa was fresh and good, but that's about it. It's way too expensive for the amount and quality of food provided. We ordered 5 different tacos, a sampling from across the menu. First issue, all the tacos were smashed into a single to go container. The food bill was over $50, you'd think a second to go container would have been in order. We asked for extra sauces on the side, we got 1 sauce per taco. Again, given the cost of the order, what's a few more ounces of sauce? Quality of the tacos was just OK, we've had much better many other places. It's not real easy to tell from the picture below, but the special bean dip was to be adorned with "a generous portion of chopped bacon and jalapenos. Served with parmesan chips." The dip had perhaps 1/3 of a piece of bacon and 2 sliced jalapenos, in other words, not "generous." The bean dip itself was nothing special, just cooked pinto beans. And, we're not sure what the "parmesan chips" are supposed to be, the chips we got were the same chips served with the salsa. Those chips, not fresh, obviously bought from a food distributor or a grocery store. All in all, a huge disappointment, especially since the place is so close to home. No need to try it again! Stopped by Guaco Taco for lunch with a colleague a few weeks ago.  We shared a basket of chips and the trio of sauces, all of which were unique and especially good.  We also shared an order of guacamole, which was also on point.  For my entrée I dined on several fish tacos, which were great.  The fish was lightly fried, with a light, almost non-existent, cornmeal batter.  Outstanding!  My colleague had a quesadilla, all beef (beef, not ground beef), and said it was delicious!  After a shaky start on a home-delivered dinner, I am now a huge fan of Guaco Taco.  It consistently delivers high quality, great tasting fare, modest prices, and always great service.  Do your taste buds a favor, get you some of that! We stopped by a Guaco Taco on a recent Sunday afternoon. The place wasn’t that crowded, so we were seated immediately. We started with the chips and salsa sampler, the green and red sauce is where our favorites. The ranch dip was just that, ranch dip. LOL There was a sweeter, habanero salsa, that wasn’t very appealing on chips, but was a killer combo with the fish tacos. We both ordered a couple of tacos for lunch, we both had the grilled shrimp, one had the certified Angus beef taco, and a fish taco rounded out the four. All of the tacos were delicious, prepared fresh, super fresh ingredients, everything on point. That said, I would give a special hat tipped to the certified Angus beef taco, that was fantastic, with a bit of both the red and green salsas on top. A jumbo margarita hit the spot in the libations category, huge, delicious, and not too sweet. Jules was our waitress, she did a super job, attentive but not intrusive. She brought out a few extra cups of salsa to let us try combo sauces on our tacos. Reasonably priced too, our meal was less than $35. We’ll definitely stop by again …

Decent but nothing outstanding. Unless you like strong drinks. Wife says they make the strongest Capitan and coke ever and she likes em strong, so high praise indeed. Chips and queso were good but chips were mostly small pieces. Not busy at dinner time on a weekday. Shrimp taco was good if a little to much citrus flavoring shoestring style fries were really good. My wife enjoyed her quesadilla. Portions are not super large which honestly is refreshing. Large covered patio with some games.

First time going to Guaco Taco and it won’t be my last. I love that they have sooo many gluten free items. Makes it easy when trying to avoid gluten. I got the GT plate with one of each taco. The carnitas and ground beef were great. The chicken was very bland and had almost no flavor. The white rice also tasted nothing like cilantro lime but more of just plain white rice. Hubby got the fish taco and said it was wonderful. I enjoyed all their salsas, chips and crispy taco shells. We sat outside at the bar and enjoyed the weather. Pro tip, make a reservation for dinner. This place fills up fast! We got there at 5:30 on a Thursday and had to sit at the bar, however, the bartender ladies were very nice and attentive. Lastly, do not miss out on the little free ice cream you get. It’s dairy free and tastes great after some tacos!

Our family was craving tacos, we decided to try outside of liberty hill and drive to this place. We ordered online. Right when I got there to pick up our order it was nice and hot. The front hostess was very nice. They got everything we asked for right. The kids loved their kids meal and it was all fresh and really really tasty. Great job!!! We will probably be back every week. 😉

Let’s start on a high, my 🐟 taco was delicious nice & flaky great with the slaw. The slaw is the star of this place. The chips were nice and crispy, can’t go wrong with queso. I would add cilantro and garlic to the guacamole and a splash of lime. I tried to ask the servers name 2x but I didn’t get it. She didn’t introduce her self or give us options for our sides lol. We ended up sending back 75% of the food. The chicken tostada was 1/5 the chicken was cold and lacked any flavor. A squeeze of lime would have brought it to life along with a pinch of seasoning. That Taco cheeseburger didn’t do it for me. But maybe y’all will like it. The manager took off the food we did eat. Which she definitely didn’t have to do. I think this place didn’t match my taste buds. I was expecting more Latin American flavors because that’s what showed up in the search engine.

Horrible experience today as first timer. This by no means is mexican restaurant. It is more like bar w some appetizers. Waitress was slow to take order when it was slow and another waitress had to come and take order for her. The queso and guacamole appetizers were served on a clear plastic tray as if I was at a baseball game. The taste on both was nothing to brag about. The fried fish and shrimps were mediocre and thin sliced fish. My chicken bowl was ok but the beans were horrible. For a total of $36 bucks w tea and a soda definitely not worth coming back.
