Bella Roma Pizzeria Livermore Reviews
Best thin crust ever - go eat their pizza while you can!
BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD. Now that my all caps text has your attention, let me tell you about this place. It’s a hole in the wall, tiny spot. Not for large parties because it just doesn’t have a lot of seating. But what it lacks in large seating it makes up for in SPADES with its pizza. We travel constantly for work, so this “best pizza ever” is not said lightly. We have had pizza all across the lower 48. Today we had the garlic twists and the Italian combination pizza, and both were phenomenal. I could not recommend this place more. In addition to epic pizza, the service was spot on. I will never get pizza anywhere else but here when I’m in or around Livermore.
This place is FANTASTIC!! Huge slice for an appropriate price. Very tasty without grease. Owner is kind, friendly, and welcoming. This is a local spot you want to support. Will return again and again.
Consistently great. Good service too. They were very busy and still put out top notched food. The spaghetti for 7.99 can feed 3, especially if you pair it with garlic bread and a salad
Tried my friend's one of the best dinner options in the area. Tried Italian combination and margarita. They were awesome. Especially the Italian combination - surprised from the first bite.

We have ordered from Bella Roma for years and recently ordered for 25 people. The food is still delicious, and the owner is professional and extremely accommodating. I see complaints about cost, but I personally feel the quality of food is worth it. Prices have gone up with everything and for someone to stay in business, sometimes the price will need to be increased. The pizza is not your basic "all dough" pizza and we love it that way. Fresh ingredients and delicious! I have never heard a complaint when I order for our team.
The best pizza in Livermore! Been coming here for years. Great owners and very nice.
Oh my. Oh my. This is the best pizza I have had in a very long time. And I say that as someone who eats a lot of pizza. The service was incredible. The place smelled like I wanted to lick the air. The prices were low and I loved all their options for my picky kids. This is the first time my whole family ate for under $100 since inflation went nuts. And not only did they eat, we had at least half of everything leftover enough for another meal! Highly recommend!! What a hole-in-the-wall hidden gem!
Convenient, Clean, Cozy quick spot for fresh made to order for pickup, takeout or dine in.
WOW! I was amazed by a few things: 1). I only believed that I could get great pizza in San Francisco. I WAS WRONG! EXCELLENT PIZZA! Outstanding actually 👌. The BEST PIZZA in the East Bay Area for sure! 2). The CUSTOMER SERVICE is EXCELLENT! Pizza was HOT and READY at EXACTLY the time specified. The gentlemen who work at Bella Roma are extremely friendly and very professional. It's like they've known you for years but it was my first time there! BRAVO GENTLEMEN! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OUTSTANDING PIZZA!
Great pizza and the service, will be coming back!
I can't believe their rating is 3.6. I've never had a bad experience with their pizza, so can't rate there service if eating there (never have). But, if you want a great, fresh tasting thinner crust pizza, this is where to go in Livermore. We always get it delivered and it comes nice and hot. Reasonably priced is also a nice plus.

Visited this place for the first time. I dined-in, the workers and the owner were very friendly. The food was really good and affordable. Highly recommend the Garlic twist, best in the city.

Got a rude awakening after picking up a pizza from Bella Roma. Turns out more than half of the pizza I ordered was completely burnt underneath. We could only eat the toppings of that half and decided to throw the rest away. I don't know how a professional pizza pallor with seemingly good reviews does that. I paid $27 for it and if I wanted burnt semi-pro pizza I'd have gone to papa murphy's and attempt to cook it myself.
Ordered delivery, and food was over an hour later than estimated. Called the restaurant to check on it's status, and was told the driver already left and should be here "any minute now". 30 minutes later I called again, and was told the same thing by a different person. 30 minutes after that, the driver finally showed up with a cold pizza. Only giving two stars because the pizza was good, only after I had to toss it back in the oven.

This is not the pizza I remember. The flavor is flat, poor quality dough & minimal toppings. I’ve had better frozen pizza. I will not be going back.

I used to love this place and order from all the time as did my family. I believe they have changed ownership as ive heard other complaints. Anyways I was near by and decided to order 2 slices for lunch I was shocked when It came out to $13 dollars for 2 slices anyways ordered the food and brought it home. Hands down probably the worst pizza I've ever had. Thin as cardboard cheese tasted bad. I could have got a large pizza that was way better from Little Ceasars. I mean if your gonna charge top dollar it better be top quality.Over priced and not good. Since this incident last week I've shared my experience with others who have said they have had the same experience there.
We use to love Bella roma but so much has changed. We were ordering pizza by the slice (4 meat lovers slices and 1 cheese slice) the total came out to over $40! We thought that was absolutely ridiculous for 5 slices so we left & had dinner elsewhere. Last time we were here one of the workers tried to charge us an extra $5 for 1 ranch until we had asked why the total came out to so much... pizzas weren't good as they use to be. Not sure what changed :( Edit to respond to owner: I completely understand sometimes businesses have to raise their prices due to costs of rent/ingredients. The prices you are telling us didnt correlate with what the cashier was trying to charge us for today. She charged us for the slice then per ingredient rather than for a speciality. When we asked why the prices were so high she seemed a bit irritated too. I would recommend going through prices for the employees because your customers are getting ripped off. Thank you for your response clearing this up.
The new owners have terrible service, and the quality of the food has severely decreased. Not only is the phone service awful, the order of 2 slices I placed 40 minutes early still came out 20 minutes after I arrived on a slow day. On top of that, the slices have gotten smaller, and no longer have their signature taste. This was my favorite spot growing up, and it's sad that it's gone downhill. I wish the original owners the best.
Before the ownership change it was one of the best pizza places in Livermore now it’s horrible and I don’t even consider it a option of a place to eat at anymore save ur money and make a frozen pizza at home or something.
Who was in the kitchen last night? A trainee? That was by far the worst pizza we’ve ever had in our lives and this is our favorite place! Dump salt on bread, bake it and call it a pizza?
