Five Guys Liverpool Reviews
The burger and fries are top notch, It’s a little expensive though, a meal would cost around 17-19 pounds. I don’t really like the concept of unlimited refills on drinks. They give lot’s of fries you can add unlimited toppings to your burger.
The food in here is 1000 times better than McDonald's, real chips real burgers with a variety of toppings. It is worth paying that bit more for the quality and you can see the staff working really hard cooking the food to order in front of you. Brilliant.
Kirkuinely the best burgers out there counting or not counting menu variants. The cook with the curly hair deserves a pawjob on Jeffrey
Visited five guys last month for the first time and been visiting often since then. Kuddos to Mr.Mark, one of the most enthusiastic person ever met. He knows the menu very well and always suggests me a good thing with the preference of my taste...would highly recommend everyone to have a visit!
Just had an awesome experience at Five Guys! The food was absolutely top-notch — burgers cooked perfectly, fries hot and crispy, and everything tasted super fresh. The staff were outstanding friendly, upbeat, and clearly enjoying what they do. Special thanks to Mark, the tall old gentleman, for his genuine kindness and great energy. He really made the visit extra enjoyable!
The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Mark, who went above and beyond to make our visit extra special. Can’t wait to come back!
Great experience at Five Guys! The food was fresh and tasty, and the service was excellent. Special thanks to the Manager Mark for being so kind and helpful — he really made the visit enjoyable. Will definitely come back! ❤️
I loved my dinner tonight, the burger was deliciousss and fries were fresh and tasty. The staff were absolutely amazing and friendly and I would like to extend my thanks to Jane she was the best, great customer service. Would come again for sure.
Decided to fo to this store as the other one (L1) was really busy. This one was nice and quiet and calm. We gor a hot dog and a double cheeseburger meal which were lovely. Great customer service when my daughter didnt like her fries(the seasoning was too strong). Staff member called lou helped us outwith new ones, without hesitation. Would pick this store again for how friendly the staff were and good the food was.
Incredible service from both Lesli & Manager Ryan. Both extremely professional & friendly, went above & beyond. Our milkshakes were perfect & by l both staff members made sure my daughter had the perfect milkshake ❤️ The place was absolutely immaculate & although it was almost closing time we never once felt rushed & the service was still perfect, thanks guys we will definitely be back 🫶🏼
I shamelessly enjoyed a solid burger as an American missing something familiar. I loved it.. maybe it was the desperation of not eating normally for 2 weeks, but either way it was great. Balanced and tasty. I have never been a fan of their fries but thats cool. Fast , friendly service. One of the guys working there is from TN... he is awesome. Definitely recommend
Waited approx 30 mins for 2 burgers, it was reasonably busy so understandable especially as they're made fresh to order, good customer service from the guy serving, who apologised to customers for their wait however colleagues cooking weren't so professional, heard a bit of casual swearing coming out of them amongst each other which I don't normally pay any attention to however there were families with young children, I think the staff who are cooking need to remember the customers are right there and can see and hear everything.
Burger was a bit dry, buns are not the best even though they use millers which is a great brand for making buns. It gets left on the grill for too long making it dry around the edges. It’s not consist enough, had better in Manchester and that shouldn’t be the case.
Went into store, placed an order, wanted to use the toilet, code on the receipt wasn’t the code to the toilet. Had to ask staff for toilet code. Paid for bottle of water £2.70 wasn’t given the water called store spoke to Aaron ( had audacity to spell his name out to me, as kg I couldn’t spell 🙄) who ask me for the details of the receipt. Then gave me a speech about how customer take advantage of store which wasn’t the case. Kept contradicting himself regarding being to have a refund. Then ask me what I wanted him to do, which I stated I wanted a refund which said he cannot do anything so why ask me what I want. Terrible as I class this as theft as I have paid for something I haven’t received which he agreed. Told him I would be contacting head office which he agreed. Which I weren’t asking for his permission. Wanted me to travel over an hour from my house for £2.70 bottle of water. I want a refund for the bottle of water. Perhaps train staff to make sure they have customers orders correctly. It weren’t like they were busy or rushed off their feet. Chips were overly salty, shake was nice but could suck the contents through the straw, Oreo not being blended enough and the cheap quality of the straw.
Not the best experience and I’m actually quite disappointed as I love a five guys normally. Walked in and the place was so cold we were shivering. Both doors were wide open and it was freezing inside. Everyone was sat down eating with all their coats on including ourselves. Waited 25 minutes for our order when there was about 2 other people. When it came the food went cold within about 5 minutes due to how cold the place was. I ordered a hamburger with lettuce, tomato and ketchup. Out came a cheese burger with bits of onion, mushroom and bacon all over the sides and in the wrapper. They were happy to swap it to my actual order (as I can’t eat that cheese) which was great. However the bun was so so dry, not like your typical five guys burger bun Not a fan at all especially when we paid £30 for 2 burgers, chips and 2 drinks. Will stick to the other five guys stores in future
So for a back cheese burger with chips and a bottomless drink £15,00 Restaurant is clean and service was fast from the time we ordered to the time it was served. Drink was flat had to try 3 different flavours till I found one that was good to drink. The chips where spiced and there was a lot of them for a small. The hamburger, no where close to the hamburger I had in France, this one had a thin bum and was not holding it all together. As for the 2 patties, I think they where dry. Also the garnish was falling out the burger, so I was eating a deconstructed hamburger by the end my meal. And the flavour was like having a BK Hamburger not good for £15.00 this burger does not make it in to my top 10.
Waited 25 mins and had to complain. The staff were poorly managed - the place was quiet, but they were poorly managed and co-ordinated. On the 2nd complaint, the manager told me not to be rude or disrespectful and offered me a full refund and told me to leave. We accepted the refund, left the food and left. Too many precious, poorly trained young adults working there with no sense of good work ethic or customer service.
If I could give no stars to this extremely awful place, I would. I had severe food poisoning from ordering a double patty burger, cajun fries and a hot dog. The place is unimaginably dirty, they cook and bag their food in inhumane conditions. There's grease everywhere in the cooking area, cross contamination at its peak, not to mention that nobody cleans the tables nor the toilets. I work in the hospitality industry, trust me, this is one of the places to avoid.
My order took over 20 minutes to prepare, and the food was absolutely disgusting. The team is severely understaffed, I watched the few employees and even the manager juggle multiple stations at once, yet they still refuse to hire extra help. Stop bleeding your customers dry with overprices and excuses. Fix your staffing levels now!! or shut the doors!! I will definitely escalate this further.
