La Stua Ristorante Livigno Reviews
The staff was very attentive and precise. The food was excellent. We ordered a platter for two, two different first courses (the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms were highly recommended), and dessert (the apple fritters were also highly recommended). The quality and price were fair. Definitely a place to return to!
Excellent glutenfree cheese fondue!
Super professional table service, delicious food, lots of wines to choose from. We had sciatt, soup with bread-meat balls, risotto with mushrooms, salad with mozzarella & artichokes. All was very good. One thing might be improved - salad was too cold (feeling like just 'taken out of the fridge'). (By the way, they also have cheese & meat fondues, it was hard to find such place in Livigno).
Christmas day lunch. We didn't use the Christmas menu as I'm allergic to some products. But food was prepared to perfection and service was excellent. Btw this was the 2 ND time we visited. Definitely will recommend to go
Il filetto di manzo al pepe rosa (Beef filet with pink pepper) with home made fries was very good, "medium" was nearly med-rare, but tender, very juicy, not bloody. The service was also very good explained all questions in english. My wife had a Pizza "Crudo e Rucola" plus a mixed salad which was so big we could easy share. And for sharing the service recommend an extra plate. With a glass of wine and a big beer plus one Tiramisu and two espressi we payed about 50€ including tip.
Very welcome and friendly atmosphere, especially due to the attentive and nice service. The food was delicious and just the right size. Would go there anytime again. (Family with two little daughters)
Crowded evening dining. Great service to our table. This place good genuine Italian food without too much fancy stuff. They have an impressive winelist with a great variety within the wines from Valletelina.
Located in the center of Livigno, this restaurant is well-maintained and well-lit. The restaurant has a typical mountain hut atmosphere, with wood predominating. The furnishings are a bit dated (I'd redesign them, keeping the mountain hut/chalet concept intact). The table setting is beautiful but rustic, as it should be. The service is excellent; the waiters are uniformed, friendly, and kind. The food is also excellent; the meat was cooked perfectly, and the venison ravioli were exquisite. The prices are reasonable, considering the location, the quality ingredients, and the service. If I were to return, I would definitely do it again.
Nice food - and very nice service and friendly staff

A typical restaurant with well-prepared local dishes. The service was a bit rushed, especially considering the large number of people at the hotel. Unfortunately, we weren't told when we booked that there was no parking in front of the restaurant; you can park near the gas station, about a 2-minute walk away. The apple fritters were excellent, but €12 for three slices was perhaps a bit too much. Overall, not bad, but I think it was a bit overpriced for the overall price.
Tragic tourist trap - lukewarm food, sloppy overcooked pasta with canned mushrooms. Service was nice and attentive but this is not a place to spend time or money in.
Not a great experience. The service was friendly enough - although chaotic at times - and some of the pizzas looked reasonable. However, the gnocchetti, mixed grill (dry, basic) and especially the meat fondue (bland, tasteless) were very disappointing. We expected much better, given the price of both dishes. It felt that the kitchen was not taking any pride in their work. The poor acoustics of the room also meant that it was a tiring place to be. Acknowledging that we could have raised these concerns while we were in the restaurant, we preferred to simply leave.
