Good union keeps you busy with great rates for all the different labor work. Worth going through the apprenticeship. Trained for free and pit to work getting paid weekly. Gerald is a allstar. And the office is friendly with helpfull information. Worth coming to the 242 ill be a member for a long while.

Be careful. Doesn’t fight for their workers, while other unions are out there getting their hard working people the raises they deserve, here 242 is settling for 5% over 3 years. What a slap in the face. And don’t you dare need their assistance in anything, they won’t help you. Don’t waste you’re money

If you can join another union i would advise you to do so, these are are crooked especially the rep's!! Before the merge everything and everyone was fine! These Rep's are dirty all they do is steal money, They play power Tripp games especially that little short Hispanic guy that works the window... The Reps are useless they don't do their jobs all they do is steal money and if you call them out on their dirty tactics they WILL MAKE UP LIES TO GET YOU SUSPENDED from the hall and make it hard for you to get back in IT HAPPENED TO A COUPLE OF MEMBER'S! BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU WASTE MONEY TO JOIN THESE CROOKED DIRTY 242 OFFICERS....
