Bites & Bashes Cafe Lomita Reviews
Bites and Bashes Cafe has a very creative and amazing menu with tons of variety. Breakfast burritos loaded with juicy Korean BBQ beef.. home run. The food is as pretty as it is delicious. The pancakes are so big and fluffy with ube syrup that rivals anything you get in Hawaii. The menu has all sorts of creative breakfast and lunch items that make it really hard to order because there are so many intriguing items.. the salads and sandwiches look amazing and there are Korean inspired entrees, noodles, fried rice, and lots of fun appetizers. There are about 10 tables inside and more seating outside. The coffee and tea was also very good passing the latte test with flying colors. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes as this is a unique menu and they put a ton of care and love into the food.
Must try if you like good food! I was very happy I chose this place for my birthday breakfast. I was looking forward to it all week and the KBBq burrito did not disappoint. It was so tasty with beef bugolgi inside. Highly recommend checking them out.
Small and cozy cafe. Tasty mix of Filipino and American cuisine. Enjoyed the coffee and cocktails too.
Andrea is so sweet and attentive, the food was amazing, we got a free extra iced latte, and the other coffees we ordered were so yummy. we added on extra baguette slice later and the guava margarita which were all so yummy. 🙂↔️⭐️🤍
The BEST place in South Bay for lunch / Saturday brunch. Family owned and operated, plus a female-Korean chef/owner. Guava margarita, ube pancakes, a selection of different breakfast burritos, and my favorite japchae ever. Really can’t go wrong here. Seating can be limited so come early! Cute cafe and they’ll print images onto your latte. Street parking
I've driven by this place hundreds of times without thinking much about it, but decided to try it out today on the recommendation from a friend. Tried the Thanksgiving & Chorizo burritos with my partner. Both were fantastic!! I think what I like most is that ALL ingredients in each burrito go with whatever the flavor/theme is. There's no "filler" like with most breakfast burritos - it's not stuffed with hash browns or potato. Give this place a try when you want an amazing breakfast burrito. Great, friendly service and nice, clean ambience inside, too. Feels even better to support local business when they do it this good!
I tried the spicy chilaquiles burrito and it was delicious. Also the fruit was so good and the presentation was everything.

Came and visited this place last week. I went because a food reviewer had mentioned that it was the most underrated breakfast burritos in LA and in the South Bay especially, so I had to see what the hype was all about. I must say that the customer service was extremely personable. I’ve never had the opportunity to talk to the chef face to face who followed up with on the food that they just made for me. You can tell that this family really cares about not only their business process from A to Z, but how they an impact on every single person who walks through their door. The KBBQ Breakfast Burrito is highly recommended in my opinion. I’ve never had a BB that tasted like that before. A unique layer of flavors with a twist on what is now an LA staple in terms of what this city is known for. Their coffee is top notch as well! Local coffee beans if I recall from our conversation. Check this place out if you’re a South Bay resident or if you’re in the area for the day. You won’t be disappointed!
We're a generic white family, but I talked the others into trying this based on reviews. It was a little spicy for some members, but all found it delicious. Can especially recommend the shaksura and "Crack in the cup" coffee. Breakfast burrito very good for all members of the family.
We just hosted a design event at our showroom, BattagliaStile, and Bites & Bashes catered it. They did an amazing job! The food was as beautifully presented as it was tasty. They were a dream to work with and very punctual in both responses and setting up the day of. Our guests were thoroughly impressed!
Excellent breakfast burrito and the salsa was amazing!! Spicy and smoky. We got the Korean style burrito and it was very good. Everyone was super nice and came and checked that we were happy with everything multiple times! Very good service. Nice place too!
The food at Bites and Bashes is an exquisite experience: every bite is equally delectable as it is beautiful. I particularly loved the crack fries, Korean glass noodles with beef bulgogi, vegetable dumplings, and guava margarita. But what makes this place special is the Cosers. You are immediately greeted with warmth. You feel like you’re in their family’s kitchen. I could not be more in love with what they’ve created here, and I can’t wait for my next visit!
The original breakfast burrito was delicious and the crack coffee is so good!! very cute neighborhood spot.
It was my first time going here. They are "The" hidden gem in this area. Professional chef meets professional entrepreneur. The food was amazing. The caffeine selection is wow. You MUST try this place.
Chose this place because of convenience of location, but was so blown away by the breakfast burritos! So many options with very unique burrito styles. We shared the kbbq and chilaquiles. Both incredibly different but equally delicious. We're just in the area visiting friends but I wish this place was local to us!
Went with a small group to try a few of the breakfast burrito options, they were all incredible. Can't wait to come back

We went to this cute cafe to grab a breakfast burrito and they had a whole separate menu of breakfast burrito options. We got the classic and the chilaquiles - and both were excellent (the chilaquiles was our favorite). We also got the Ube Lava pancakes and they were incredible. Service was very nice, prices were good and we ate outside on the patio with our little pup. We will be back regularly.
This is suuuuch a cute local business. It’s owned by a mother/daughter pair. The food is amazing - especially the breakfast burritos. The lattes were also perfect and the ube pancakes were a surprise to see on the menu and so delicious. We went early on a weekend and had no wait. We sat with our dog outside and enjoyed everything. Easy street parking nearby. We will absolutely be back! Go support this great small business.
The Shakshuka was really good. Nothing to say about it. But the American breakfast was opposite 😭 Idk how but the bacon was way too sweet and kinda threw the taste off & the eggs came without any seasoned so the meal tasted unbalance. Hope this can be better next time.
The place is on the smaller side, half a dozen tables. Clean aesthetic though. Food is good, order at the counter and they'll bring it to your table. Food was good. My party got the Ube pancakes, munchie burrito, chilaquiles burrito, and turkey sandwich.

We tried the Mediterranean omelet and the All-American breakfast this morning. As someone who’s actually from the Mediterranean, I can say the Mediterranean omelet was nowhere close to an authentic version. The scrambled eggs in the All-American breakfast were honestly the worst I’ve had. The pancake came topped with colorful sprinkles, which felt unnecessary and odd. Other than the coffee, everything we ate felt low quality. It was a low-protein, high-sugar kind of breakfast that didn’t really deliver on flavor. I’ve traveled to many countries and tried cuisines from all over the world, so I genuinely don’t understand how this place has a 4.9 rating. The best thing by far was the coffee. The tables were dirty—I ended up wiping the one we sat at myself. I noticed other customers ordering sandwiches, so maybe their sandwiches or burritos are better, but based on this experience, it’s definitely not a place I’d visit a second time. But the staff was very kind and polite, which I appreciated.
