Carl's Jr was my go to for my U.S travel. They are consistently delicious and staff are always kind. This location had very quick drive thru as well.

Have eaten here several times passing through. Taking the time to post because this is one of the rare locations that seem to put enough bbq sauce on the double western cheeseburgers. Service has always been friendly and professional.

The best Carl’s Jr I have been to. Very good food. Quick service. Western Bacon Cheeseburger and onion rigs with a coke. It’s not healthy, but man is it good. Great spot for travelers on their way north to Bishop and beyond.

I have always liked Carl's Jr. Their 6 dollar burgers rate with the best!!! Always dependable service!!! They also have a good variety of things to eat. My favorite Carl's Jr burger is the Banzai burger. Their fries are also good. You always know what you are getting at Carl's Jr and that it will be top notch!!!

We were there the evening (11 pm-ish) of 9/25. The young man working was one of the most professional, polite, positive, hard working people I've seen in the service industry in a long time. Well done!!! I wish I got his name, but unfortunately I did not.

They were open Xmas eve when I arrived in town after a long day out in the cold back in 2020. Went back again last week, and it was just as good.

They don't have Beyond burgers anymore but they now serve a burger made with fried zucchini for vegetarians. It is surprisingly good - better and less expensive than the Beyond burger was.

This is Carl's Jr like it used to be. The burgers/food is hot and fresh. Just the right amount of sauce to to make it just right. No heat lamps. Made when you order. A must stop on my way to Bridgeport . I wish the ones around my home were like this one.

After a long night of working, day of going to the dog park, or just a drive through this small and quaint town, Carl's Jr doesn't disappoint with their fresh, made-to-order food. Their rewards app is a God send because of the points that I am able to build up and get a free treat or burger on a whim. The attendants are amazing, friendly, and takes their job seriously by listening and getting your order right...usually the first time for me, esp with my multiple food allergies. Sometimes, I find a little surprise of a cookie that makes my lonely days feel a little brighter. They make me feel like family, and I hope my interactions have shown them my appreciation of what they do. I recommend stopping while finding your way to this little, hole in the wall town of Lone Pine.

Service with a smile was outstanding. My 1/3 lb burger was prepared fresh exactly as ordered. The bun was tasty and the lettuce crispy. The French fries were awesome-thin and not soggy. This is in Lone Pine on the 395 in the Eastern Sierras. Definitely worth the stop. Oh, and the restroom was impeccable.

Got one of the best burgers I’ve had from Carls from this specific store. I ordered two burgers lettuce wrapped and to my surprise they were suuuuper heavy feeling and looked to be the same shape as a burger with a bun, but once opened up I come to find out it was EXPERTLY packed. Literally the most photogenic burger over ever seen. 😂 It was fresh, smokey, and juicy as all fresh burgers should be. So shoutout to whoever prepped my burger. I hope you see this, and you know I’m literally going to drive back to Big Pine Carls Jr. just to get another burger. Thank you <3

Danny is fantastic, his smile and welcoming manner are 1000x better than any ai or machine. Food quality is above average for Carl's Jr state wide. Restroom is above average for fast-food. Mixed use with fuel station in a small town is efficient but can be delayed during peak hours.

I always forget that fast food away from the city is usually, how it used to be. Fresh to order and not like it's been sitting.

Humberto at Carl Jr Lone Pine is the best! We stopped for gas and coffee but I accidentally left my cell phone in the ladies restroom. I couldn’t go back for it without missing a flight out of LAX. Great place to stop if you need some food, also I think it services truckers so it was pretty busy. It was a pretty bland interior but the food was great which what really matters. It took a little bit to get service I had to be directly infont of checkout for anyone to notice but again wasn't a huge problem.

First time eating from (any) Carl's Jr and was very impressed. Both burgers were phenomenal, with fresh, crunchy veggies, ample cheese, tons of meat that actually tasted like meat! Burgers were better than a LOT of gourmet pub burgers I've had. The (manager?) at the cash was very friendly and helpful. As far as fast food goes, Carl's Jr is in a league of its own.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Super friendly staff, always asked if we needed condiments. Short wait for food, cooked perfectly. Very clean restrooms. We ate here multiple times while visiting Lone Pine.

I order from door dash a lot. This is the one franchise location I can always depend on to make exactly what I asked for and do a terrific job at making a decent meal. Prices aren't too outrageous and can't go wrong with guacamole bacon burger. Life really likes the one with the poppers in it too

Stopped in during a road trip from Oregon down to southern California with my son. place was clean and organized. Staff was very friendly. Our food was served quicker than I was expecting. Everything was correct and the food was hot! I only wish the Carl's down here in the high desert was this good.

I am a huge advocate for Carl's Jr. I don't get it often, but try to get it while traveling. This was absolutely the best Carl's Jr. food I have ever had. The staff was all friendly and the restaurant was clean. If you are cruising down the 395 I highly recommend holding out (or eating early) for this establishment.

This Carl’s Jr. is pretty good. I say that because many places like this one, in the middle of “nowhere” tend to be neglected. But this is not the case here, This Carl’s Jr. is on your way up to Mammoth and or the Bishop area if you’re in Southern California and the location seems to be perfect for a pit stop on the long road ahead or back depending on which direction you’re coming from. We tend to stop here on the way back to Socal. We usually stop here for the bathroom because they’re clean and well kept but this time we also got some food. The staff is attentive and friendly and the tables were all clean and overall the restaurant is well kept. Something that is interesting is that the gas station cashier is also inside the restaurant. We sat inside to get a vreak before resuming the long drive home. We ordered a few burgers, fries and the usual “Carl’s” food and it was all good. I must have not been to a Carl’s Jr. in a long time because the prices seem to really have one up, but it is what it is.

We had the pleasure of interacting with employee Natasha while we were there and she was an absolute delight! She was super friendly and accommodating and brought joy back into our long trip home from Mammoth (our car broke down outside of Independence so we were exhausted and hungry). I have driven hundreds of miles to get here from the middle of nowhere because whatever buddy I was with wouldn't stop talking about burgers. Decent and have been coming by regularly for years never really disappointed. Quick. Easy, and doubles as a gas station.

So this is a Shell station and a Carl's Jr. combined. Its kind of strange. Good place to stop for gas and a meal. Both times I came here, the food presentation was great, good, flavor, and very satisfying.

There's a place just down the road with a different sign that says "Best Burger In Town." Carl delivered on the food as usual but, you know, it was probably not the best burger in town. Next time I'll give the local place down the street a try.

Stopped to use the Restroom and grab a breakfast Sandwich on the way north. Lady's were super polite and got us our order correct. So we got in and out fast. The restrooms are very clean.

I generally like Carl's Jr. and I haven't been there in a while. I couldn't believe I spent over $16 for a burger, onion rings and a soda. The burger wasn't bad but it was kinda bland considering it was an avocado bacon cheeseburger. The rings were hot and fresh but the ranch dressing wasn't good. Gotta say I was disappointed.

AI takes your order at the drive thru. It didn't work out too well for us but the humans were friendly and fixed our order.

When passing through lone pine on our way to mammoth, this is usually a reliable stop for us to get some food for the next leg of the trip. The restroom is usually well kept and the food is consistent. that is more than you can usually ask of a fastfood location. Due to its remote location I do find that their price is a bit higher than local Carl's we find in Bakersfield. However this is to be expected.

It's Carl's. You know what you are going to get. I like the breakfast burrito and that is why I stop. However, the bathroom is terrible. God please upgrade it or fix the thing. I know people just stop the use the bathroom but if it was a decent experience, they would would buy also.

LONE PINE: I was very surprised to see a gas station at the Carl's Jr. fast food. Puzzling. Anyway, I found service average, drinks average, wait time about average, courtesy to customers about average--neither ride, nor excessively polite. Everything seemed to be average--even the restrooms, were clean about average. This Carl's, nothing exceptionally good or bad.

A welcoming place after a long day of driving. Also a bit of a surprise, as this one had gas pumps. It's not a restaurant in a truck stop, it's an actual gas station. You pay for your gas at the counter where you order your meal.

Cleaning of tables took a little encouragement but after that they were very attentative.

Stopped in just to get a milkshake. I was immediately greeted by the manager. The employee questioned my order. I made the mistake of telling her of my dietary restrictions. I was there to break my restrictions by indulging in a Milkshake. She asked me 3 times if I was sure of my order. I didn't need a "mother" second guessing my purchase

The staff here can be hit and miss. I have had them screw up the order again and again, and then on other days get it just right. The food though has been good almost every time. I think the front staff needs to be looked at. Cooking staff is pretty good. Some of the front staff seems annoyed at the sheer possibility of you existing in front of them to order. Edit: was a slightly better experience than before and the staff was kinda friendly, but they forgot something in our order. The food also wasn't great...I don't think I will be back.

I love Carl's Junior so I will rate this compared to other restaurants of the franchise. Most have two entry ways to keep out the flies, this one only has one. Consequently we had to deal with flies while in the dining room.

Extremely overpriced pathetic burger. Long long gone are the Hardee's (Carl's Jr) Angus burger attempt at revival. This was one half step above a Whopper. Shame.

Came through the drive through. At the speaker we're told there's no soda or lemonade only tea. So we order tea. Ordered one of the combos with no cheese (#1). Get to the window and the guy says they have lemonade so we could have our original order of two Arnold Palmers. We say awesome and he closes the window. Girl comes up with our food and says here you go. As she's shutting the window I ask about our drinks. She looks at us like she doesn't know what I'm talking about. Finally she hands us 2 plain teas but with no ice. I ask where's the ice. Girlfriend checks food and finds cheese on the burger. So we give her the burger back so that can be fixed. Along with the drinks. Hand grabs ice cubes, granted she had gloves on, and drops a handful of ice into each drink. Doesn't add lemonade. Had us wait out front for the burger. Whole situation was a total sh!tshow

Service was good but food was poor. My burger tasted like it had been cooked hours before ordering and just wasn’t good. The fries were decent but still on the old side.

Quick stop in to use the restrooms and grab a small meal on our trip. Food was ok. Restrooms were trashed. No time to think about it, just grateful one stall was available. 🤷‍♀️

29 dollars for two medium classic burgers. No receipt given. Food was ok, but not twenty nine dollars worth. Highway robbery by staff. Hope they fold as money of these workers are on par.

This place is OK only if your starving and Frosty Chalet across the street is closed for the season. Your definitely headed down the road before you notice your order is wrong. Usually with a car full of Hangry kids. NOT FUN!... Definitely stop at Frosty Chalet get a good burger, stretch your legs, eat lunch at the park. You'll be glad you did!

Chicken sandwich was not put together well and fries were lukewarm. Ordering is 100% automated from the drive thru. When there was a mistake while ordering, I had to back up my car and then approach the microphone before the system would delete the mistaken order. That meant I had to place the entire order again. The system would not allow a deletion. Customer service was zilch zip nada during the ordering process even though I asked for someone via the automated system and it told me to wait. THEN, the drink I ordered was a large lemonade. The cup seemed to be the equivalent of a small cup of soda and I paid an exorbitant amount for it: $3.79. That is bs, plane and simple.

The fries were still I asked for a side of barbecue sauce and it was put on the burger instead which is fine but I like more than they put. I also find it ridiculous that people in the state of California are making $20 an hour and they don't even have to talk to anyone at the drive-thru because the speaker box is automated. When I made a joke about it the kid at the window seemed highly offended and had a snarky attitude. I'll remember to stop at Carl's elsewhere on my drive next time

It’s Carls so the foods what it is. If you go through the drive thru and expect to be parked for 10 mins, don’t want to mess up their times. So just head inside and don’t waste your time if you’re in a hurry.

Took three works and a manager to figure out the coupon situation the brain dead female before us had with a dozen coupons. After waiting 10 minutes as the second people in line, walked out. Drive thru took even longer. Slowest service at a fast food place ever.

Very poor customer service.. I sat and waited for 7 minutes at the speaker, and no one ever spoke. By this time, here are several cars behind me.. Instead of providing customer service, and taking my order at the window, I was told by the very rude cashier that I would have to drive back around and get in line, she didn’t have time to take my order.. I don’t care if your short staffed because of COVID, if you want to be treated with respect then give customer service EVERY TIME.. Oh, I get it.. I’m just one customer, and it doesn’t have an effect on the the employee, they don’t suffer financially, it’s not their business, so they don’t care.. But.. lose a couple of customers a day for a year, and someone is going to suffer financially! This generation has no desire to have a work ethic, it’s simply a job. Make them responsible for their actions and they will take more pride in their work. Make each and every drive off come out of their paycheck, and customer service will improve INSTANTLY! Guarantee it!

Horrible service! 15 minutes for simple menu order. Employees standing around looking lost & confused. Julie should not be at cashier. Greeted her warmly, she stood there unresponsive. Visited again months later...still awful service. Like someone else wrote, can smell diety restrooms in lobby. . Worst of Lone Pine!

This place was awful! I would give it zero stars if I could. Customer service was terrible and the diet coke & coke were flat! I know it's a small town, but lots of people travel through the 395. You would think they step it up a notch. Altough, they did have a "hiring now" sign, so maybe that's why. Never stopping at this Carl's again.

Consistently subpar. But hey, at 10PM it's either this or McDonald's, and they're both bad here. You can never hear the employee over the speaker that has been broken for at least two years, you never get your condiments, and you won't get them because the employees are too busy with their personal conversations to help you. I have never had a good experience here.

Passed through the city on the way hm from camping in the mammoth area. Not the friendliest staff. No greeting. Not helpful with items off menu. Asked beforehand what sauces were included on a particular sandwich and ketchup wasn't included. My wife didn't want ketchup on the sandwich. It was put on anyway. When I asked them to fix it, the manager told us that it was special sauce. It was obviously ketchup. We got blamed for the mistake but they did fix it.

It took 15 minutes almost for my small order was very frestrated the manger was not in the front the lady that was bagging the food looked at the screens like she was completely lost. And the doubble sliders were gross that my kids would not eat them and they are not picky. I asked for extra cheese on my side salad and got like the smallest amount. The gentleman that gave me my food was very apologetic for the wait . The manger needed to be on her game . I work fast food I understand some times it gets busy and u can't help it but they literally ignored front counter for drive thru and to wait 15 minutes for two lil sandwiches and fries was ridiculous

The automatic system and lack of a screen to let you see your order is a problem. It gave me more food than I asked for. I get to the window and it’s $52, I’m confused but I’m exhausted and emotional from just losing a pet in Bishop. The employee asks me to pull around and they will bring my meal out to me. They bring out three meals, when I only ordered two. Like I said I’m exhausted and don’t want to go into the restaurant to work this out, as my clothes are untidy from the vets, I’m disabled and was hurting too much to deal with it. We eat our food and it is not very good. My autist son can hardly eat it, not even the shake. I force myself to get it down cause I spent so much money for this meal. Get home and we both have major bowel issues. So worth the $52, crazy!! Never go back there again. What a rip off.

Rude staff. I was charged twice. They refused to help and said talk to your bank. The $10 chicken strips were old and hard. The iced tea was amazing. That’s the only good thing I could say.

We didnt order food. The lobby was filled with people high on drugs. We used the restrum an noticed that they had a container for used syringes. We ran back to the safety of our car. Could'nt get out of there fast enough

Sat in the driveway today at 10PM for ten minutes to get out order. Once we got it missing a bunch of stuff. Went in to get missing items and had to wait another 10 minutes for them to make it.

I ate there in the morning of April 3 and forgot my wallet with all my kids $ inside along with my wife ring before heading to Universal Studio. Came back 30 minutes and it was gone. Didn't have anything to get out of town, no credit card nor money. Thankfully, someone working next to CHP help out gas. Hope this get to the person that took all my belonging. I just want the ring back.

I was seriously amazed at this carls jr I've never been to a carls jr in as poor of shape as this one my 1 star review of the food isn't fair because I did not even ear here I came in with my wife and daughters the women's room according to my wife was appalling and I believe it because the men's room was rough as well I stood behind two other customers for quite a while with no acknowledgement from any staff member it was as if the dining area wasn't in service and Noone was notified 10 out of 10 don't recommend

The drive through is not family friendly, which is a ridiculous thing to say about a drive through, but it's very true. The main menu changed screens by itself to a woman in hot red wearing a low-cut, tight, red leather shirt biting into a sandwich. Obviously insuating something inappropriate as she slowly chewed down and closed her eyes... Why would they do that? Because they know their target audience will get a subtle but instantaneous dopamine rush that will increase the odds of them spending more on product. Everyone plays that game with the annoying switching screens but this Carl's Jr crossed the line by objectifying women at the same time. I don't want my children to see that. And it's presumptuous to think every parent would. Carl's Jr will have my business again when they return to reasonable priorities such as good enough food, that is reasonably priced, but most importantly, fast.

The drive through is a completely automated ai and it took my order completely correctly. BUT I've been here three times now and I always order extra sauce on my burgers but without fail the kitchen gives me no sauce. Dry burger. Not sure what's happening here the Ai thing can take the order correctly but they can't read the tickets, I guess. Keep going until you reach Bishop the carls there is much better.

Worst burger in my life!!! DO NOT GO HERE 🚫 ! Ordered the premium big char Angus chili burger with extra cheese. Received one piece of lettuce, a piece of meat no cheese a tiny micro piece of chili. Paid $9 for a junk burger. Whoever made it didn't pay attention to anything they were doing. They weren't busy at all. We went through the drive-thru We were the only person in line. Did know about the quality until I was 20 miles away. This place is horrible!!! Don't go here avoid it at all costs drive to another town. Better to eat anywhere else.
