This is an absolute favorite coffee shop of ours in Long Beach. The staff is incredibly skilled, and wrote the book on customer service. We’ve never had a bad experience there. Overall, the coffee is on point, and perfectly brewed. Espresso is pulled just right, and the food is dialed in and presented with purpose. The location is really easy to get to, and we enjoyed their outdoor patio in addition to indoor seating once things cooled off a little bit. This is a great location to stop by on your way to the cruise port, especially if you’re up for a small walk across the bridge over to the cruise area. There are great bathrooms shared in the main building, and you just need a key from the cashier if the coffee shop. The food is incredibly great tasting, and healthy and fresh. They have a variety of alcohol, gelato, pastries, full menu for food, and of course great coffee.

The staff and building are very cute. The cappuccino was $4 for a small cup. However, the cappuccino leaves much to be desired for. Please coach your barista for doing it in a way that it’s actually a capucchino in the end. Today, it just was very hot coffee with a little bit of foamed milk on top. The beans were not very smoothly roasted. Anyway, customer service was awesome. Toilets are very clean. The interior design is cozy and modern at the same time. The coffee shop is only a one minute walk from the bus stop for the Dash express bus 142 and from City Hall.

Great coffee, breakfast and lunch option in Downtown LB. Better than other choices in the area including Starbucks. Plus they have fantastic wine and craft beer on tap if you're looking to do some day-drinking.

A gem! Great coffee. Had the breakfast panino with bacon and added “sexy” and house made chipotle sauce. Soooo good! And better priced than other breakfast spots in the area. Highly recommend :)

We arrived at the Catalina Express a little early, and we were starving. We wanted to grab lunch before heading to Catalina Island. The agents said that there was a café within walking distance of the parking garage, but they did remember the name. When we walked there, we discovered Aroma di Roma Centro. My wife and I decided to split a meatball panini. We were blown away! The meatballs were made fresh, and they used fresh mozzarella with a delicious red sauce! If this sandwich is representative of the rest of the menu, this needs to be your goto stop prior to leaving for Catalina Island!!

Came here since our go to spot on Second St. closed💔 I can still get my “Sexy” bagel (on everything!) with a delicious coffee! Great place to sit and read or catch up with friends

Today was our first time here and we had a great experience. The food was good, the iced tea was made to order, and our server was welcoming and friendly. If you haven't been, I highly recommend you visit.

I stopped by today, believing that I would have the same heavenly Americano, as I did 2 weeks ago, on a Friday. Disappointed indeed...Different barista, different coffee. I can't believe the difference coming from the same cafe. The Americano today was total opposite of what I had experienced, previously. I had to pour it out, I couldn't rescue it. Reply to Owner's Questionable Response: I am unaware of your remark, relating to free drinks and discounts...You are in reference to a totally different customer. Also, both baristas were male that had served me. Just as previous visits, I actually gave a $2 tip towards my $4.60 cup of coffee 👍 I'll be generous with the review, as well, and modify it from 1 star, because my previous Americano was superb😍 Have a pleasant day!

Love this place. The staff is so friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. The food is great. Wish the cookies were priced more appropriately as they are very expensive for what you get. But overall, I love the quality here.

I recently moved here and started going to this coffee shop. Overall, everything has been tasty and nice, but yesterday there was a different girl at the counter and instead of making the iced coffee (which I always order here), she made a strange mixture where the bottom of the cup was hot and the top was filled with ice. And it was even served in a cup meant for cold drinks. Total disappointment.

Atmosphere is a 5! ♥️ Food is a 3. Haven’t tried the coffee or drinks yet! Give it a try! Service can be a 5 or 4, depending on the person! 😊 This place is different from most coffee shops in Long Beach. It’s very clean. It’s calm. It’s secluded and comfortable. We only tried the smoked salmon bagel and it was tasty. Also, ordered a cup of eggnog with nutmeg. No one crazy seems to come here. The customer service (young japanese woman) was wonderful! Overall, I really like this place. I can’t speak on the drinks, as we aren’t coffee drinkers. We noticed that they serve wine and beer too! and they have a good variety of pastries! Hopefully our experience continues to be positive, as we hope to continue coming here. (: update: I went back for the same dish and it was prepared differently, which dropped down my joy for eating it a bit. It was still tasty. My recommendation to them is to keep the tomato the same thickness as the salmon.. this will make the bagel more enjoyable. When the tomato was cut very thick, it made the bite and taste ratio off. Still tasty, but could stay perfect like the first time (: Went back for a burrito. It was just ok. I was told it was good, it was more like a wrap. Service was ok today. A young, pretty girl with straight hair. There was a very loud man working too. He was talking so loud and his voice is harsh on the ears, so we decided to not order more and just go somewhere more relaxing. Overall, i would definitely go again! Will try a new meal another day.

Place used to be great til I saw they were getting a new menu at the new dead location. Biggest mistake they ever made. Everything is processed now and there selling wraps and calling them panini's. When I order a panini I expect bread not spinach tortilla (This is false advertising) I especially expect them to warn me when I have been coming here for 15 years. Man you guys really ran this place to the ground all just because you didn't wanna cook :( that's so sad.

Owner expects customer to be happy with wrong order 😂😂😂 I went in today around 2pm and asked for a shot of espresso with a splash of eggnog. Employee said “sure, an eggnog latte.” I told him I don’t want milk, just splash of eggnog. He said “I know what you want.” Then he charged me for a small holiday beverage. I watched him make an eggnog latte…with milk… confirming that he had completely misunderstood and overcharged me. When I called him out on it, he did not apologize or even try to correct his mistake of overcharging me. All I got was “here, you can have as much eggnog as you want” and handed me the carton to pour myself.

Really disappointing experience. The product was terrible. The coffee tasted bad and felt low quality, honestly not worth the money at all. The service was awful. Staff seemed annoyed, slow, and completely uninterested in helping. I didn’t feel welcomed for a second. The place was dirty. Tables weren’t cleaned properly, the floor looked neglected, and overall it felt unhygienic and poorly maintained. The owner was rude. Instead of addressing issues or behaving professionally, they were arrogant and dismissive, which made everything even worse. I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are plenty of better cafés nearby with cleaner spaces, decent service, and respect for customers.
