I love it, you can order over the phone here. This place has pretty nice chicken bowl, it's always packed and that is a good thing. This place is relatively healthy and is decent pricewise compared to the other neighboring restaurants.

Got to say, im surprised the staff doesnt know me by name. Love this place for sure..ive noticed that the other ones in the vicinity dont offer brown rice. Love this place post workout or anytime. Cant go to wrong here. Even the terryaki chicken burritos are really good. Deffinitely the only one in the area I go to

So I've eaten at this place...many times, and also ordered take out. If you like the unmistakable and un replicated taste of charbroiled this is the place for. They serve teriyaki food, but not only do they serve chicken, but they serve beef and Pork....!!!!! Oh!! Yes you heard me right PORK.....they shaved the pork in really thin pieces charbroiled it to finished it with just the right amount of teriyaki sauce.....but the best is the servings are huge...one large can feed two adults. Plus you can mix and match....am telling you go try it you will Love it😉

Clean location. Delicious and filling, 1 large Teriyaki bowl is enough for 2 people. Sorta like a super Version of Waba Grill BUT better (No Offense to Waba) . The Teriyaki meat doest have alot of "Skin" so it doesn't have alot of fleshy fat on the white chicken breast. If you don't like Rice , no problem , the Vegetable substitute is equally delicious as well as healthier

Friendly staff only issue is on of the new workers need a hair net and hat he need to wash is hands after touching phone and grabbing his drink and he need to wash after everything he touch he had no gloves and the person who handle money should wash there hands and change gloves I have certified in food hvac solar and alcohol

So delicious and fresh, you can smell the charbroiler across the street! I highly recommend any teriyaki plate or bowl; my family's fave is the combo beef/chicken bowl w/brown rice. This place knocks every other teriyaki restaurant out of the park! Nothing artificial, no questionable mass-produced ingredients. I call my order in and pick it up 10 mins later, always ready, staff super friendly, win win!

Their food is fresh. Burgers , chicken teriyaki bowls, burritos, and plates. The ones I recommend the most are the chicken teriyaki bowls and the burgers.

Totally remodeled dinning area, nicely done. I was out with my niece and shared a beef & chicken teriyaki meal, hadn'tbeen here in forever.. I forgot to ask for brown rice, the white rice of course is delicious, but brown rice is healthier. This is my favorite location of other Golden Bowls.

We ordered the Teriyaki bowl with chicken and shrimp and also the shrimp burger. All ingredients were served hot and fresh. The large food portions are worth the price. The staff was fun and friendly.

This is one of my kids and mine favorite place to eat. The plates are well serve and the meat is so tender and tasteful. Im not a fan of teriyaki but I eat the one from this location its so delicious. Thank you for staying consistent throughout the years. Everything is the same since I started going 7 years ago.

Should upgrade the atmosphere otherwise they would've got a5 star there but other that everything else is a1 top shelf experience

Awesome to come get lunch or dinner a throwback because I used to come with my family all the time. Over it's a place I would come to get a bang for my buck. I always order the Teriyaki chicken bowl medium. sometime I can't finish it but over all I always come back to it.

Absolutely wonderful service. My husband is a very picky eater and has very complicated orders. They have never gave me a hard time. They are AMAZING! The food is beyond delicious each and every time! (PS: my husband says the chicken itself needs more seasoning or flavor)

The food is great. They cook all their meat on a grill. You can taste the smoke! For the price, it's an absolute value. Bang for your buck! You can go with a small bowl of rice, veggies and meat. Or a plate of rice, veggies and two choices of meat. There's always plenty of parking and several tables inside or outside to dine at. A hidden gem in the Bixby Knolls area. Doesn't have great curb appeal but it don't need it. The food speaks for itself.

Food here is exquisite 💯 Wait time is a bit to much but worth that wait. Yes I recommend this place out 👍

This is the best teriyaki for over 20 miles. I used to live down the street and went here several times a month. I moved away 8 years ago. I now live about 20 miles away and I still make the drive to this place when I am craving teriyaki. It’s the only place that satisfies the craving. The beef is thin and flavorful. They also have the best french fries and teriyaki burgers I’ve ever had from a fast food place. My daughter also used to enjoy the fish as well. The restaurant has been fully remodeled recently. New flooring and tables. It’s now a pleasant place to sit and eat!

This place has been around for a while and I’ve always loved them. I went from sharing a large with someone, to eating one by myself, and then back to sharing. My appetite has changed as well as life itself. I appreciate them being here along the way.

I come here when ever I have a craving for teriyaki, think of it as fast food teriyaki. Their sauce is super delicious and very umami. I definitely recommend the teriyaki beef and chicken combo, comes with a side salad. Also if you're not a fan of teriyaki this place also offers burgers and side dishes such as fries. This place has been a go to spot for a long time. I would give this 5 stars but the beef quality is a little tough

Clean, quick and relatively healthy spot especially if you add veggies to your meal. Not as sweet as other teriyaki joints, which to me is a huge plus. My favorite is the chicken and shrimp combo bowl with veggies

Always a great place for a straight up bowl of teriyaki goodness. The combo bowl with onions is so tasty, big enough to split with somebody else. Hot sauce makes it even better.

Haven't been there for quite a while. But the food was great es always and service was fast. Abit of sticker shock with new pricing but that's ok when it's this good 😊

Place is very small but that doesn't take away from their delicious teriyaki bowls (Beef, Chicken). My personal favorite is their Beef teriyaki 🌯 Burritos with all the fixings. I can do without the process slice cheese in it. Hey if it tickles your fancy then be my guest to indulge. I would rather have it with shredded cheddar cheese instead. None the less you won't be disappointed I highly recommend this place. For some on point teriyaki bowls and burritos, they have other options but for me it's the bowls or burritos. 8.5 out of 10

Tasty teriyaki grill with good portion sizes and lots of options from bowls and plates...to even burgers for the kids. The beef was sweet and a little crispy which was bomb and the chicken was moist. They have a good sized patio for you and you pooch that's covered so bring them along.

Ever heard of a chicken teriyaki burrito? Sounded kind of funny causing me to raise a brow in question, did I hear that correctly? Yes, you did, and after having one; well, I am a fan! If you've never had one and you can get through the initial thought of it; give it a shot, you'll probably be pleasantly surprised!

I am curious to see if this establishment stays consistent. Most of my work is around their area. I will eat lunch soon again. Keep up the good work.

The food is good, the place is ok, the service is good, but the price isn't cheap by far. $17 for the big chicken & beef plate w/veggies, no drink! It was good 'n fresh but that's pricey compared to other teriyaki places! But I may go back!

The food and service are nice, quiet, and friendly. Only thing preventing from getting a 5 star is the charge to pay with your card is equivalent to what a drink costs! Other than that, it's one of my to-go places :)

For a tiny counter service restaurant that looks like a converted taco joint from the outside, the food is quite exceptional and there are some interesting options on the menu that one would not expect to work as well as they do. The only thing to be mindful of is that with a steady stream of business and a smallish kitchen, it can take a while to get your food, especially if you arrive when they just throw a new batch of meat on the grill.

I admit I had low expectations when I first went here. The appearance on the outside is not anything special. But after I tried the teriyaki plate I became a regular. The portions are a good size. The prices are good too. I should note that for a teryaki place they make a pretty good burger.

A Hidden Gem: I do not know how many times I passed by and never stopped by this restaurant that was a former Taco Bell. Many. I chalked this place off as a hole in the wall second or third rate fast food joint. It is not. Being Bixby Knolls is lacking in name recognizable fast food places (good or bad thing IDK), I wanted something quick, yet different, and decided to give Golden Bowl a try. Although the dinning area is very much like former Taco bell, the food was surprisingly delicious and a much better value for your dollar than any other restaurant in the area. I have already been back there 3 times since first "discovering" Golden Bowl. Wish there were half star increments, as I would rate this 4 1/2 stars on fast food restaurant catagory. Top of my fast food list!

Been there about 3 times and very good. Their plates are a good size. Even there bowls are good! All my family likes it and eat there too. You can eat there or take out. They have an outside patio too. You order your food at the window.

Went in to get the charlbroiled teriyaki chicken burger ... make sure to NOT get the patty.. and was pleasantly surprised by the great taste but was shocked at the sheer size of the burger. I got it for lunch but could not eat all of it. Saved it for dinner where pulled the remaining teriyaki off and heated it up with steamed rice. Two great meals for a great price of underground $9! The picture on the wall menu is very appropriate. Great place to check out.

I've been here a few times and I think I'm ready to finally write my review on it. I'm a simple man, with simple tastes. I like good chicken teriyaki. I also really like chicken bowls in general. They're not the worst thing you can put in your body and they're really hard to mess up, so it isn't too hard to find a good chicken bowl, but when a chicken bowl is done well... let me tell ya... it's one of the best things in the world. Golden Bowl puts together a fantastic chicken teriyaki bowl. The sauce tastes great, the chicken is tender and juicy and the rice compliments everything really well. That's not what stood out to me though. They have a chicken teriyaki burrito. I'm a huge fan of odd flavor combinations which is why I get the weird Lays chips flavors and it's totally why I ordered this. It's a huge burrito, and they use the same chicken and rice that the use for their bowls which is awesome and is expected, but they also throw in some pico de gallo. It was a weird combo but it totally works. One thing that stood out as a negative, they also add cheese and it's your standard American Kraft Singles they'd put on their burgers. Not terrible by any means, but it's distracting. The flavor and texture of the cheese really took away from everything great about the burrito. If I ever find myself ordering this again, I'll definitely omit the cheese. I also had fries with my burrito because I figured why not? They needed salt. Otherwise they were average.

For a quick cheap bowl of teriyaki this place is great. It isn't fancy, it isn't the highest quality chicken/beef, but when you are hungry for some no frills teriyaki you have found your spot. This spot blows yoshinoya out of the water. I like to get my bowl with brown rice and a side of steamed veggies. You can also get half chicken and half beef bowls which is always nice to add some variety.

Tip #1: when ordering to carry out, make sure your order is set. If I did not decide to sit in to eat, I would have left not having realized that they didn't include my avocado on the order (and avocado is not cheap!). On to the food; I ordered a chicken and beef plate. The chicken was pretty good and the beef was partially mediocre. There was some good beef pieces and I don't understand if it's because of the way they dressed the beef that only some of it came out good and the rest was less than flavorful. The chicken was alright, but Yoshinoya probably could get it better. The beef is pretty good elsewhere too. I personally think Waba grill got the chicken set. Why did I order the plate when the salad dressing was ehhh??? The rice was plentiful but the meat portions filled me up already. The prices are okay for the amount. I just wish their beef and chicken was more flavorful and I hope to try the pork next time. No plate, the salad has no point. Better off ordering a side of fries. Wait wasn't bad but for the slow activity that went on by the time I arrived? Only so they could forget my avocado? Idk... well at least they managed to fix it rather quickly.

I had a med chicken bowl. The rice was different. I dident care for it. I only eat once in a while. Was a bit disappointed. When you have your taste buds set on something you know, and it's Not. I'll still go back.

Food is decent, service is quick. Just overpriced. 12 bucks for a medium chicken bowl and its smaller than you would get at flamebroiler.

Food is okay. Price is good considering the portion. Their service is below average. Never answers phone. Ordered 5 foods and only got 2 forks. Very stinge on providing napkins as well.

When it's good it is delicious but 15% of the time the meat is dry. The service is quick. Fair amount of food for the price. They used to have the best horchata, but they no longer have it available.

I'd love to rate them higher, but they make some common mistakes you see at chicken-bowl type places. The biggest problem is they act like their sauce is worth more than the chicken. Put a little more please, and don't give me a togo order this afternoon packed with old sause form yesterday or two days before. If it pours out like my grape jelly, it's too old to serve. Respect the freshness and they may be worth 4.5 stars.

I won’t be going back after tonight. I bought a couple of teriyaki chicken bowls and when I sat down to eat, there were not 1 but 2 long dark hairs in my food! 🤬🤢🤮 I would’ve gone back to return it and give them hell but I don’t live too close to the place. I called twice but they didn’t answer of course! It’s disgusting & a shame they don’t train their staff to properly handle food. Check your food before eating from there!

Love the food but the staffs indifferent attitude in helping people leaves much to desire. By 8 pm they altogether stop cooking vegetables and when you are given your order you have to fend for yourself because the entire staff in more interested in talking in the back instead of being present to serve their clients.

Everything was just mediocre, nothing special. My brown rice was dry, my chicken and beef got dry and rubbery after I had to reheat it. Portions were good, service was good. Their free pepper bar looked like they had it out for hours.

Their customer service is bad the girl that took my order took it wrong and all because she was to busy having a conversation with one of the other workers about her not believing him that he did not have a girlfriend. When they gave us our food it was cold and when I told them they got upset and started being rude about it..

This place used to be great. Service and quality have taken a dive and the cleanliness has never been great but it's even worse now. This has happened over the course of the pandemic but there is no excuse to ignore customers and be rude.

When I want good teriyaki I always come to this golden bowl. For some reason today there food was very salty I thought maybe because we were almost last customers and they were closing early, they did the food with there intentions of just getting us out. They claim they ran out of teriyaki sauce and the meat and chicken they had was the last but that is no excuse. I got a refund but I tbh didn’t even want my money back I all I wanted was to enjoy a dinner with my family. Last time I eat here

When I was pulling up on the parking lot it smelled like they burned something. Went in and noticed they did burned something. I ordered teriyaki chicken bowl and it tasted burned my bf ordered a avocado burger with bacon and the bacon tasted so old and was so rubbery, the Patty had no flavor (well only from the grill they had just burned) and the fries had no salt and tasted like they have been in the freezer for months maybe years. Definitely won't be coming back here again .

Their sign says they close at 10:00pm and on Saturday night ( usually a late night in cities) I leave the comforts of my own home confident to get a late night dinner, based on the that information. Knocking on Golden Bowl’s doors at 9:45pm to find the glass doors chained and the workers counting money ( all three) refusing to acknowledge me or the sign on their door Which said 10:00-pm. Trusting their information, I missed dinner that night, won’t happen again. There are many Teriyaki houses. The next time I want to get a chicken bowl, I will find a house that Does not take their customers for granted. Do you know who your customers are? Just the people that provide you with the money you close your doors early to ignore them and count... basically the ones who pay your salary.)

I always tend to call to place my order because they take long but they just let the phone ring or sometimes hang up & it’s funny because every time I go when the owner is there they seem to answer all phone calls. Very disappointed never coming to this restaurant ever again they need to do better!

I had a horrible experience and management didn't even care to help. They gave my food to someone else and I had to wait a total of 25 minutes to get my order while everyone else walked in and out. I asked the manager for a free drink for the extra wait and she laughed and turned her back. I don't recommend this place because of the service I received and the lack of respect for paying customer. Stay away, food safety questionable and management is even worse.

I was order 50, and had 49, and 48 waiting before me. 51 ordered and got her food first. We all had a bowl, so not sure why she got her food first. She was even surprised when she heard her number. I guess server was helping out a “friend.” First come first serve doesn’t apply I guess. The beef was also burnt!

Food is horrible at this location. Service is not any better. I asked for a Chicken and Beef plate with no rice or any side's as I was placing my order she said she understood and finished charging me. I received my order and there was a couple pounds of rice mixed with chicken and beef. It was a complete waste of money as I can't eat rice. I worked on seperating the meet from the rice and had some of the meat unfortunately. The flavor was horrible and tasted like burnt plastic. I have eaten at another Golden Bowl and the food and service was great, but as for this location I will never go there again.

I’ve been coming to this teriyaki house for over 4 years. I do believe I’m a regular customer and I’ve never experienced the horrible service I received tonight, not only the team but worst of all by what seemed to be the owner. It was 9:08 when I walked in with my daughter and boyfriend. My boyfriend orders and tells me that we have to take our food To go. I know they close at 10 so I asked the cashier what time they close and she said 10. I replied to my boyfriend and said okay we have enough time to eat in. It doesn’t take us 50 minuets to finish a bowl. What amazes me was that the owner was the one telling the cashiers to tell the customer that they had to take their food to go. So then boyfriend places our order and I place a bowl to go for a family member at home and asked the cashier if she can start on that bowl 10 minuets after, I wanted the bowl to be fresh. This cashier gave me such a bad body language with horrible facial expressions. I pay and sit and can see the team talking amongst each other making it super obvious that I was the one they were talking about. Our number gets called and they still gave it to us in a bag to go after we told the cashier we wanted to it in. I didn’t care we still sat down and ate there but then the owner comes giving us a stare and he starts cleaning around us picking up chairs. It was funny to see how the team was ready to close to restaurant before 9:30 but customers still coming in to order their food. Listening to their interactions telling the customers oh sorry we ran out of veggies we only have the regular chicken and beef bowls. I honestly didn’t even enjoy the food because I was so upset and I love golden bowl. I was very disappointed. I wish they still had the old team. As we were walking to our car the owner was outside and says bye to us. I looked at him in the eyes and just told him he had horrible service, what made me sad was that he SMILED and said OOH THANK YOU. That just made me realize that this business owner doesn’t care about his business nor his customers. It must be time to find a different teriyaki place.

01/14/2021 approx 11:30am. I have been a Golden Bowl customer since I was a kid and I have to say that every time the quality seems to go down. However this time it was the last straw. I ordered my typical large bowl chicken and beef. When I picked up my order I wanted some spicy sauce that was in the back and I was told no because it was for shrimp. Couldn’t I have gotten at least one? But the worst part was food itself. The chicken tasted old and reheated. It had that taste of reheated leftover chicken. We all know that taste. The beef was a bunch of meshed, ground beef look alike pieces. Moral of the story don’t go too early close to opening time because you might get leftovers from the day before or just find another teriyaki joint. Disappointing.

Meat was burned worst food ever. Meat is not marinated and no ginger. They didn't know what that was. I'm so surprised they didn't know what ginger was. Do not go here.

Walked in there cashier on her phone not paying attention. On 10/15/2022 at night imagine paying people to ruin your business. Great job. I left and took money somewhere else.

My mom used to rave on how this was one of the best food spots to go but recently having placed an order online her opinion changed pretty fast as all the food we received was burnt to a crisp. No joke I couldn’t bite into my burger without getting a mouth full of black bits. According to my mom the chicken teriyaki she received was no better. Good servers they were kind and all but the cooks have been lacking especially with the price we’re paying.

Food tasted like a dirty grill. Had a bunch of charcoal bits. I understand it's charbroiled but when you don't clean you're grill all the burnt flakes start getting stuck to the food. The food was kinda cold. Not good for the price

Came in with some coworkers to order lunch. One ordered and paid with cash, and i ordered and paid with card. After looking at my receipt I noticed I got charged a different price than what was on their signs. The receipt shows in small parenthesis(cash price). I got charged more per item for using card than he did for paying cash. Not a single charge for the whole receipt. Per item!! I checked his receipt and there's no parenthesis since he paid in cash. No signage stating that there's an extra charge for card payment, and no one said anything when I was ordering. I was referred here by a coworker and while the food is decent, I don't appreciate being charged extra for wanting to use a specific form of payment. Last time I'll be coming here.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would. I got greeted by Semora at 6:58 pm and she told me that their was only one cook and that’s why they had to close early on this particular day. Great! What I don’t understand is that the cook was already there, why not stay open until the hours of operation that are on the building door.
