Good Time Long Beach Reviews
I stopped by Good Time Coffee on a Sunday, and just a heads up, it gets really busy. The lines can be long, and the shop is definitely buzzing, so be prepared to wait a bit. That said, it’s absolutely worth it. The coffee here is really solid. I’ve tried a latte, a cappuccino, and a couple of their specialty drinks, and every single time they’ve been consistent and seriously tasty. It honestly tastes like they make their own syrups. The flavors are smooth, not overly sweet, and don’t have that artificial aftertaste you sometimes get elsewhere. Even with the Sunday rush, the quality never slips. If you don’t mind a little wait, Good Time Coffee is a great spot for a reliably good cup. I’ll definitely keep coming back.
Compared to most Long Beach cafes, one thing that stands out is how spacious the dining area is. It’s a good place to work on a laptop, because there is a lot of seating and a lot of space between tables. I haven’t been to any of their events, but they have things like a trivia night, craft night, mahjong day, etc.
Great coffee, good customer service, delicious breakfast burrito, host to one of the best smash burger pop-ups in LBC. Very good natural wine selection, fun merch
Rad indie coffee shop with the Rolls Royce of coffee machines called a Slayer 👌🏻 cool vibe and lots of indoor and outdoor places to chill. Local fresh donuts, croissants, BEER, wine and all sorts of popup food art events…and a hot crowd 😎
Great spot but horrible parking. Staff very amicable, good selection of items and fantastic ambiance. Clean establishment. Chocolate crossaint was great as well as the hot chocolate.
I love this place! Come to draw here almost every day 😁 Coffee, service, food, music, atmosphere and plants everywhere - that’s my paradise 🌿 So lucky to have this gem in the neighborhood!
If I could give this local coffee shop 10 stars I would! Newest local to the Long Beach area, and we discovered GoodTime as our spot. We were blown away by the set up, menu, and overall energy of this place. The menu is amazing! Don’t sleep on their breakfast burrito - we get this weekly since I work from home. The coffee and specialty drinks are truly what sets this place apart. From their Strawberry Basil Matcha to their Lavender Lattes, every single drink I’ve purchased from them, was enjoyed with love! Service is consistent and super friendly. Always good for a “how’s your day going” or “whatcha up to today”. (Which I personally love) Atmosphere? 10/10. Take a plant or simply enjoy working around them, and whatever music they’re playing throughout really enhances your experience!⭐️ Be sure to follow them on their socials as well, they do a lot of community based events(:
The type of place you want to post up with a book, or plan a coffee date, or just grab a killer coffee to go from the friendliest coffee slingers in town. I grabbed their cold brew collab w/ 311, (the Amber) and it was flavorful, smooth, and the right boost to push through the afternoon drag. I WILL be back for the gayest burritos in town!
MY GOD, the best burrito 🌯 in the world. Amazing Coffee , breakfast burrito 🫠🌴🫶🔥
I had a fantastic breakfast stop at Good Time in the Zaferia neighborhood of Long Beach. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy café layout, plenty of seating, greenery, and a friendly vibe. The coffee was top notch (I went with a red eye), and my breakfast burrito was delicious and satisfying, great value for the money. The staff were welcoming and efficient, and I appreciated the community focused feel of the place. If you’re looking for a relaxed, budget friendly breakfast in 90804 with good drinks and food, I’d definitely recommend Good Time.
🦋 I’ve lived here for a long time & never seen this place! Decided to give it a try & it did not disappoint! The coffee , the breakfast burrito the decor! It’s outstanding! I left due to some loud people in there! Maybe she wanted everyone to hear her conversation. Definitely coming back again! EARLY in the morning
I was told this place has been open for about three years! Wish I would have found it sooner. Pretty chill place. Lots of tables and places to work. Every 2nd Saturday of the month, they hold a vendor market. Baristas are fast! Coffee came out quick food was ok. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito!
The place hits all the right vibes alongside their awesome coffee. They don't offer decaf, which was a bit of a bummer for my wife but still got to order a drink. Also grabbed a shirt while I was here. I will note that parking is not great.
So addicting! I went with my friend yesterday , she introduced me to it, and I went solo again the next day it was so good. I bought two drinks , just one originally, another because the taste was amazing.

This place deserves 6 stars based on vibes alone! From coffee (of course) to beer, wine, and plants, they've got all your needs covered. Very spacious with indoor and outdoor seating, great music, and wonderful service. I've only been once so far - I ordered the Paloma-ish (espresso grapefruit tonic) and the breakfast burrito with chorizo. The drink I give a 10/10, it was sooo, but the burrito was a bit potato heavy. Good flavor, including the chorizo, so I'm willing to give their other food items a try. But back to the vibes! Very community oriented as they had flyers posted for various resources and events. I'm obsessed with the plant shop in the corner even though I can't keep anything alive. I absolutely can't wait to come back for an adult beverage and of course try their other drinks.
Our favorite coffee shop in Long Beach. Iced vanilla latte with oat milk just hits different. And I always make room for the breakfast burrito. They also host a cars and coffee the last Saturday of every month with All Makes Welcome that I never miss. Great people and good vibes at Good Time!!!
They have a cute little location that I just discovered today. My building has a power outage & I needed WiFi quick. Their coffee and tea is high quality. I had the iced green tea matcha and it was tasty. Great service by the staff.
As a mother of a toddler i have to confess i get so much anxiety going anywhere because idk how anyone will receive my son. The cashier Fransisco was so sweet and understanding. Beyond that he gave me options with my financial situation. Ill forever remember kindness like his. Thank you Francisco!
Alex bri and Francisco are Full of good energy I see these people every morning. This is where I get my coffee. Nobody here has a bad attitude ever everyone’s always very nice as a good way to start your morning. I will come check it out. Definitely try the pop tarts too. Go follow me on Ig Jacked_Like_Jess I’m a 🏳️⚧️ advocate and I stand up for the community And this place is a community friendly zone
I stopped by for a quick breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The place has a cozy, old-school diner feel with friendly staff who remembered my coffee order on my second visit. I tried their chilaquiles and they were fresh, perfectly spiced, and generously portioned. The coffee isn’t fancy but it’s strong and refilled often. It’s a great little spot if you’re looking for a no-frills, warm start to your morning.
This coffee shop is located within Vida Plant shop which even enhances the ambiance. The coffee is great. I just don't like that they serve in paper cups. The breakfast burritos are great and filling.

Love Good Time and their burritos and it’s a great place to sit and study for bit! The only concern I have is their matcha. I’ve gotten it two times and it always comes out very grainy. I know it gets super busy and baristas are rushing to get drinks out but I wish they would approve on this. I know they can do very well and make their matcha better!
I absolutely love this place and their mission and what they have done for the community here. I am extremely allergic to pork (I get hives for about 4 weeks after ingesting it). Unfortunately I have to mention that TWICE this week, they have given me a chorizo bfast burrito when I have specified that I cannot eat meat. I asked the staff politely to label it as vegetarian or something to differentiate the meat from the non-meat burritos. I tipped the highest suggested amount both times also, (not that it should change the experience, IMO) She said she would label it and it was mislabeled the second time and not even labeled the first time. Only leaving a review because this is a severe pork allergy that I have to deal with that can be debilitating for weeks at a time. Still love the company tho. Please be more cautious!!!!
My first experience here was AMAZING last Friday and I was so excited to come back this week. I got the same thing both times: Lavender latte, breakfast sandwich, and a side of "crispy potatoes." Last week, everything was delicious! Their spicy sauce is really good with the sandwich and the yolk was nice and runny as I bit into it. The potatoes were soo yummy and crunchy and I was stoked to get them again. Today however, my experience was very different. I got there at 7:30am. They didn't ask if I wanted it for here or to go and just put everything in boxes, which I would have preferred on a plate. The food came out really fast. The latte was still yummy, but they didn't do the cute design in the foam today. The sandwich tasted good, but the yolk was already broken when I got my sandwich and had soaked the bottom of the box making my sandwich soggy on the bottom and covered in sticky yolk. The potatoes were the most disappointing. When I got them, they were super soft and not crunchy at all. I asked if they could cook them a little more to be "crispy" which is thier description on the menu. I waited for about 20 mins and then started checking in. After 3 times asking, they finally came out at 8:10am and were still barely crunchy. I was late to my 8:15 appointment because of these darn potatoes. I just felt like things were either rushed today, or they didn't put in a much effort or care into their work. I would still come back because the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is great and the latte is yummy. I won't be ordering food though as 50/50 is not great odds for the possibility of getting well made food.
This place is awesome. Really good food, drinks & merch. The only complaint I have is I wish people with their laptops who sit at a 4 top table alone understood how selfish that is when this place is incredibly busy. I always thought cafes should have a time limit for people with laptops or a bar set up on the wall just for people with laptops. You literally are fighting for your life for a table there on the weekends. Will still go though lol
Came on a Saturday. 45 minutes for the burrito as it was so busy and they had a makers market. Burrito was so spicy, I could taste almost nothing except the salsa. I got the vegan burrito with soyrizo. I got some of the vegan cheddar halfway through, the edges where the salsa didnt get to had more flavor. The potatoes were crispy it was almost sad the flavor wasn't there. I got a champurrado iced latte, it was slightly watery and the champurrado flavor was just a hint. It kind of tasted like it was sitting there for a while. The espresso flavor was still there and it wasn't bad probably a good medium roast. So the latte is just OK in my book. I enjoyed the market and the talking to the vendors. Love the plants, wish they had notes on which ones are pet friendly that's unusual to do but still I wish instead of standing there trying to do quick research because cats love to chew on leaves. Parking sucks, didnt use the restroom. The place itself it really nice and cool vibe.

I love this place but today I ordered a burrito to go. The chorizo and cheese inside my burrito was burnt. If you can please pay attention when cooking and not serve customers burnt food. Please be more careful. saaaaad
