Jerry's Donuts Long Beach Reviews
The burgers, fries, and milk shakes are so good I dream about them. I'd go eat every week if I lived closer.
So delicious! Elevated fast food made to order. The inside looks like a fast food spot, but there is a sweet little garden with outdoor seating on a nice day. I’d live here, if it was closer to my home. Great service and killer plant-based options.
I came here for breakfast today and i am so happy that i did! The outdoor seating area was pretty; there's a little pond and waterfall. Everything inside and outside was clean. I got the chicken and waffle sandwich. The waffles were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The 'chicken' wasn't too greasy, and the maple sauce was delicious! The iced coffee with oat milk was great. I got a small and then went back and ordered a large This is the first good fast food meal I've had since i gave up meat. I just wish there was a location closer to where i live.
OMG THIS PLACE HAS MY HEART. Can you imagine getting HEALTHY, BALANCED meals at a fast food joint ?!?! I got a cauliflower bowl and it had greens, grains, fats and veg. It was so delicious, too, I was in love. I didn’t even get a chance to take a picture of the sweet potato waffle fries because I inhaled them. The best sweet potatoes I’ve ever had in my life - and I’ve eaten a lot. Highly recommend this place, hope I get the chance to go back!!!
I had such an amazing experience at plant power as a first time customer. I really want to highlight the incredible service I received from Daph and Beza. From the moment I walked in, they both greeted me with such warm and welcoming energy it instantly made the place feel even more inviting. Most restaurants now are not interactive with their customers or honestly respectful. Vegan restaurants are supposed to be this way. Daphne, in particular, was so kind, upbeat, and genuinely happy to help me. I was feeling a little overwhelmed by all the delicious options on the menu (so many things looked good!), and she took the time to walk me through a few choices based on what I usually like. She didn’t rush me at all and made me feel super comfortable asking questions. She recommended the Western Burger and honestly, it blew me away. It's now one of my new favorites too, and I can’t wait to come back and get it again.
So good omg!!! I'd rank it wayyy above veggie grill lmao. But this is such great vegan fast food for the quality alone not considering the price!!! So much more affordable than most vegan places of this caliber. Don't even get me started on the horchata milkshake. Be sure to try the honey mustard dipping sauce. So filling no way we could even finish everything we ordered.
I have been coming to plant power an embarrassing amount the past couple weeks and it’s always been good! I’m in the middle of a move and I’m vegan so the options for quick food are not plentiful! I’ve been going to plant power so much bc it’s so quick, it’s so easy and the food is consistently quite good. My favorite is the jr cheeseburger meal! I love to put my fries (with no salt) into the burger! Also, the staff are all lovely!! It’s just always nice to come and I’m thankful such a place exists during such a stressful month for me! However, a warning, it is quite expensive! But at least very good!
This place is next-level delicious! I got the buffalo “chicken” sandwich and it was divine. Super flavorful, ideal spice level, the right combination of buffalo sauce and ranch, and the lettuce and tomato tasted fresh. Great ambience as well, and super fast service. Will be back whenever I make it to Long Beach 😋
When you have a fast food craving as a vegan it’s hard to find good options and I was really impressed with this place. Everything was amazing. The “Bacon Cheeseburger”, the sweet potato fries, the organic lemon lime soda…. and the gluten free peanut butter pie was AMAZING!!! The whole menu is vegan!!
This place has great eats that vegans (and non vegans) will love. The Big Zac is for anyone that enjoys a good old fashioned Big Mac minus the animal cruelty. They have seasonal monthly milkshakes along with regular shake flavors. Their "bacon" is unreal and you can't go wrong with whatever you order. The iconic fries will make you forget all about In N Out. For the healthier folk, there are raw tacos, salads, and more. Parking is tight and limited so please be careful and kind to your fellow parkers. The restroom is outside and you need a numeric code to enter (ask the cashier for the code). Adequate seating inside as well as outside. The posters on the wall are cool and retro looking.
PlantPower In Long Beach, serving up amazing classic fast food. The shakes are top notch. Always would recommend to anyone! Sometimes the textures can be a little one dimensional but it’s usually because they add in too much sauce. If you’re not a bit sauce lover ask for it on the side!
We ordered the Big Zac Burger, the Bacon Cheeseburger, fries, and drinks — and every bite was outstanding. The Big Zac nails that nostalgic fast-food flavor with double patties, melty vegan cheese, crisp lettuce, and their special sauce on a sesame bun. The Bacon Cheeseburger was just as impressive, stacked high with smoky vegan bacon, gooey cheese, and all the fixings — hearty, flavorful, and completely plant-based. The fries were hot and crispy, and everything came out fast and fresh. What makes Plant Power Fast Food in Long Beach so special is how indulgent yet guilt-free it feels — all the comfort food classics, but 100% vegan. The space is clean and welcoming, and the team is friendly and fast. Whether you’re plant-based or just curious, this spot proves you don’t need meat or dairy to enjoy real-deal fast food. 🌱🍔🍟
Foods delicious! The building is so cool too! I love the wrap around drive-thru- random but fun/cool addition .
All vegan fast food at affordable prices. They have your classic fast food favorites like cheeseburgers and milkshakes, but also more “healthy” options like salads and pressed juice. Their milkshakes and ice cream are good, super creamy and real ingredients — no fake strawberry syrup here! The flowers are in full bloom right now so stop by and hangout by their waterfall and garden.
Went here a couple of days away went into order and they have Do it yourself ordering which was pretty easy to use, I got the 12 piece nuggets and iconic fries with a cola and it was SO good! Been vegan for 7 years and I used to love McDonalds and InNout and this really satisfied that itch! Definitely recommend

I ordered a ceasar salad which was outstanding. There is a variety of great options and definitely something for everyone. The quality of the food and taste were 10/10 for me, not to mention how clean the dine in is and how friendly the staff are. Definitely will be back!
UGH this place is fantastic. Everything I’ve tried from them has been delicious and flavorful, from the burgers, to the chicken items. Today I tried their breakfast for the first time and holy moly the bagel sandwich and original coldbrew was everything I hoped it would be. So comforting. Love the convenience of the drive thru, the outdoor seating area also is super cute. With all the vegan places that keep shutting down, let’s please keep this one (and all the other bangers) open 🥲❤️
Love this place so much, friendly staff and fantastic food. everyone can find something they want to eat here, and it doesnt taste like vegan food stereotypes. its ACTUALLY good and doesn’t make you miss non-vegan food! Price is a little steep but i still justify it
This has become my favorite fast food restaurant. My husband and daughter love it, too. We're not even vegan. I even got my sister into it, and she can't get enough of the blueberry soda. 😋
It's one of our few fast food go too. For me the Big Zac is the call. Nostalgic and very tasty and filling. The shakes are delicious too.
The problem on service is it may be too far away or the driver take on too many orders and arrive late and the lunch is from lukewarm to cold on both orders. But when I heat it up for plant beef it outstandingly delicious. Atmosphere sorry I haven't been to actual restaurant.

Love this place. But please for the love of god move the drive thru menu to where you order instead of it being so far on the other side, it’s so damn hard to see.
I love the food at Plant Power—easily five stars for that. The Buffalo ‘66 is probably my favorite but sometimes the mood strikes for a Big Zac. I would give them 4.5 stars overall because the food is so good, but I’m dinging a star because of the parking difficulty and the prices. Not much to be done about parking, but I’ve driven by twice and not stopped because the lot was full and street parking wasn’t available. Kind of a bummer but they picked this location. Secondly, the prices are comparable to similar vegan places like Veggie Grill or Native Foods, but since they call themselves “fast food,” I believe the price point should be a bit lower. The Big Zac is worth 9.95 and the Iconic Fries are definitely a good value, but the shakes/soft serve and some of the other burgers (e.g. Holy Guacamole) don’t seem to be worth their steep cost. Hopefully with more locations, they scale up enough to lower prices a bit.
All vegan, ecofriendly and quick service. Food reminds me of traditional fast food but better. I had the Big Zac and I would say is close to the real deal (even better) what I didn't like was that the sauce was too runny and the burger fell apart in your hands. Also ordered milkshakes which I didn't like but if you like the flavor of soymilk your good to go, coconut milkshake in the future?
I had the big Zac! It was tasty except the burger patty. 😒. I didn't like them. It ruined the burger. Fries were crispy and salty. I loved the blueberry soda!! Excellent options. I love the soft serve blizzards here with candy mix ins. Sweet atmosphere. Good service and a drive thru. Par
Good fast vegetarian food. Lots of flavor, decent quality, great customer service (Go Garrett!). If I had to compare them to another restaurant, they would be the "In N Out" of fast vegetarian food. The place gets packed and parking is limited. You might have to opt for street parking. I had their Holy Guacamole minus the jalapenos, with cheese and fries. The food was decent given that I love to eat meat. I would definitely come back here but not during rush time as it gets packed. I had seen negative reviews here but I realized it was from customers that showed up at 9:00pm and after, when the place is getting ready to close. I have seen In N Out run out of food before they close. It just means that they have fresh food for each day.
The food here was truly fantastic and had an amazing taste—it's definitely worth coming for the kitchen alone. Unfortunately, the service was inconsistent; I only had one genuinely friendly worker experience, which was a letdown. I hope the general staff friendliness improves to match the quality of the cuisine.
Finally got to try this place after finding out about it years ago. Everything in this review is gf and vegan. The menu is completely vegan and the gluten free options are labeled. The best way I could describe this place is like a vegan version of in N out and McDonald's mixed together. I ordered the "Big Zac," a vegan equivalent to a big mac, and subbed the regular buns for gluten free ones, the "Iconic Fries" which are like a vegan equivalent of the animal fries from in N out, a pumpkin pie shake, and a root beer float. Note: I went with another person so we split multiple items so we could try multiple things. Even so though I'd say this place is pretty expensive. I reviewed everything I ordered individually below. The Big Zac (with gf buns) - 2.5/5 : I thought i would like this more, but I think the gf buns made it less enjoyable than it would have been. The Iconic Fries - 5/5: My favorite besides the pumpkin pie shake. Delicious and tasted exactly like in N out's animal fries! was so worth it. Pumpkin Pie Shake - 5/5 Arguably one of the best shakes I've ever had period!! I assume this was a seasonal item, but it was amazing and I usually am not a huge fan of pumpkin things. Root Beer Float - 4/5 Pretty good! Hard to give it a 5 after trying the pumpkin shake but it's definitely still worth getting if you like root beer floats. PROS: Huge variety, great flavor, gf options, great packaging, good atmosphere, nice staff CONS: Expensive, not a big fan of their gf buns, buns tasted slightly burnt as well.
The Big Zac was good with avocado and f'acon. Avo just helps so many things taste better. I wish the patties were a bit larger to match the buns, but the burger was tasty. The staff was very friendly. There are a slew of other delicious looking items on the menu.

Even though I'm not Vegan the food here is tasty, especially the Breakfast Burrito and the Big Zac. Please use the app to get points the prices are more then typical but the food is always fresh at least. The atmosphere is refreshing with plenty of wood and living plants decorating the dining area and if it's comfortable outside, eat near the mini pound! I've never seen it at max capacity visiting it the past 8 years so there is plenty of fresh air and it is easy to have a conversation.
Has the best non dairy shakes. Also, if you’re craving different fast food burgers but want a vegan option, these are just as good if not better. You won’t even notice they are vegan.

This place is like Veggie Grills' less popular, clumsy little sister. The menu is basically comprised of stuff you can get from the vegan frozen section at the grocery store, at twice the cost. The service is fast, but everything else is just unremarkable. It's not terrible, but it's also not great. If you're a vegan / vegetarian and you're in the neighborhood, and you're also SUPER HUNGRY and wanna fill your belly for less than $15, this is the place for you. The fries & burger buns were a really cheap quality, the ranch sauce had the consistency of crunchy peanut butter, and the chipotle sauce was super thick instead of creamy and smooth. If they made a little drive-thru kiosk like Rally's Burgers and focused all of their money on GREAT quality food instead of wasting a big slice of their investment on the retro ambiance in the restaurant, perhaps it would attract more foodies and repeat business. Perhaps this is why there were only 2 other patrons in the restaurant and I had the entire place to myself as I ate my meal.

So I’m sitting here trying to figure out what I spent $16 on??? I ordered the crispy chicken Ceasar salad wrap with add pickles and add tomato. The lettuce is wilted, not fresh. Or maybe it’s just too much Ceasar on it. There were two pickles in my wrap. Like the little ones that McD’s uses. The chicken was not crispy. Just not what I would have paid $16 for. Very disappointing…
I should’ve trusted my gut. There aren’t too many good junky vegan/vegetarian places and this is my least favorite. The Big Zac was plain. The Iconic Fries are going to be hard to forget but for the wrong reasons! I‘m normally not too picky with food but the texture of the sauce and cheese is not pleasant. Thank goodness the raw tacos weren’t bad. They were packed and had good flavor. Most items are a bit overpriced too. If you like fake, refined vegan foods this place is for you. If you would like to enjoy more wholesome vegan food go to Under the Sun.

Waited approximately 20 minutes in the drive-through for the messiest, lukewarm burger I’ve ever had. To top it off I got the wrong drink and they provided literally one napkin. No condiments for the fries. For $15 (for one of their cheaper burgers) you’re better off going down the street to Carl’s jr for a beyond burger. Attached is a photo of the sad, cold mess.
We brought some vegan friends here for lunch. The ordering process is terrible. Why am I doing their job? A million questions make ordering daunting. The ordering process took forever. Far too many ootions and it came out with onions which I don't remember asking for. The burger is really not good. It was cold, tasteless, terrible texture, just disgusting. I took one bite and into the trash it went. On a positive note, the French Fries were edible, nothing special, nothing remarkable, just edible. Oh and as a bonus, this place is ridiculously expensive for what it is. Not going back. Good luck to you all
Dear, dreadful Plant Power, I try so hard to love this place, I really do. But this has been the last straw for me, and my hungry family. I had to wait a few days before writing this message solely to collect myself and recover from the horrendous experience I had. Being the husband of a busy wife, she doesn't have time to cook. So often times I order takeout. The food always arrives cold, fries scattered. This makes me really upset and wish for a better method for securing the fries. But due to the excessive costs for courier applications I was forced to drive down here myself with the kids. I attempted to order my usual. But the employee couldn't hear me over the sound of my truck. It's a beauty. She instructed me to come to the window, not too bad. However everything fell flat at the wait time. LONG! I told my kids to sit tight to hide my unimaginably painful urge to poo. After a grueling 10 minutes of idling in the drive thru I was told that my burrito would take a while longer because they made a mistake regrading the "sour cream". They can't get it right the first time? It's ridiculous, really. They get paid $20 an hour to ruin peoples day. That's commiefornia for you. My burrito was eventually given to me but the rest of my food was cold now. I double timed it to the restroom and found out I needed a code. Once inside I waited in front of the screen to be serviced. For some reason no one took note of me. I'll spare you the details, but I had to toss out my favorite pair of underwear. Though I will say, the restroom WAS very clean, and smelled real nice. I have to hand it to the staff because they're top-tier toilet cleaners at a minimum. The music was filled with classics too, great atmosphere
