Beanstalk Cafe Long Island City Reviews
Cute cafe with seasonal offerings of different drinks. The food has always been good there and the staff is SO NICE AND AMAZING. This fall 2025 they have this cute GHOST LATTE! it made me so happy! The staff put so much love and effort into this creation
This place is fantastic! Great food, fast service, and polite, friendly employees. We tried almost everything on the menu, and while everything was delicious, I highly recommend the chicken avocado burger, pesto sandwich, and the PBB shake. That combo has definitely become my go-to order. If you’re looking for a place with great food and excellent service, you can’t go wrong here 🤘🏻
This place is always a treat to come to. Staff is always very accommodating and food and drinks are prepared with care. It’s small but seats a good amount. Great vibe. Summer Watermelon slush was great
This is another one of those NYC gems. The food is beyond amazing and the coffee is of satiating quality. Not only is the interior aesthetic both rustic and steampunk, but the service workers are always so sweet and incredibly nice. This goes especially for Shao! I would recommend an Oatmilk Ice latte and one of their fantastic breakfast sandwiches. They also have plenty of other delicious snacks and breakfast pastries to pleasure your palette. P.S. It’s also conveniently located right outside the G train’s 21st-Van Alst. Station!
Had one of the best salads of my life at this Long Island City Restaurant. The fresh ingredients, combination and dressing were delicious. Cool atmosphere but limited seating. Server was very friendly. All made for a fantastic experience.
An absolutely adorable little shop! It's modest and reasonably priced. I thoroughly enjoyed the Cheesy Avocado Chicken Burger. The best sandwhich I've had in a while. I was able to work here for about 2 hours. There's 2 windows that have seating with a laptop bar, and there's 2 small high table tops large enough for a laptop and cup of coffee and your food. The staff was super nice, food was prepped quickly and was scrumptious!
It has become my favorite breakfast/brunch place! The wide variety of of drinks and food - and how yummy they are, always a delight to come here! Highly recommend bagels
5 out of 5 stars, Beanstalk Cafe' has never disappointed my colleagues & I. My favorite dishes are the Banh Mi (delicious, picture below), Pear & Beet Salad (is a party in my mouth salad). Delivery is always quick, and efficient. Hands down the best place to eat brunch/lunch, you will not be disappointed.
Really enjoy this cafe. Always friendly service. I ❤ their Lavender Latte. Healthy options for breakfast and lunch.
Best lattes and drinks in the area. I particularly enjoy the rose latte, lavender latte and matcha latte!

My favorite place to get chicken noodle soup. Their soup and food overall tastes homemade and like it is made with love.
Their food and drinks are good, a bit pricy though. I love the staff, they’re very friendly and understanding. The atmosphere is nice , mostly quiet which is great for studying. I love this place!
All day breakfast!!! Love it!!! We came in to this cafe by accident, since our subway stop was nearby and we wanted some late breakfast. We didn’t know we would have the most delicious breakfast sandwiches of our entire NYC trip! The egg in the breakfast sandwiches is so fluffy and warm. The service was quick and kind. The cafe had some cute Christmas decor up and we loved the vibe. Thank you to the staff for giving us such a good quick breakfast experience!

Decent iced coffee and food 4 ⭐. I'm giving a 3 ⭐ for service because I ordered the veggie egg omelet (this was breakfast) and when they put it in it showed rainbow veggie, so I called it out, and they said it was fine. I don't know it was because I didn't speak clearly or they didn't hear me clearly, but I ended up with a rainbow veggie which was a lunch sandwich. When the cook came out with my order, for some reason, before either of us speaking a word, she immediately went back in, as if she knew something was wrong 😄, and a minute later she came out again and told me rainbow veggie was a lunch sandwich, and gave me back $4. Frankly at that point I was disappointed because they got my order wrong even after I pointed it out, but once I got home the rainbow veggie was not half bad (as mentioned above I give it 4 ⭐), so that offset the 3 ⭐ service to end up with 4 ⭐ overall.
Falafel burger is quite tasty! Also enjoyed a cup of the mushroom coffee cappuccino. The brownie was just ok.

Cute and small little cafe that I chilled once to kill my time before an appointment that I had that day. I guess it’s not fair to judge them by just one menu one drink, but matcha latte I got didn’t really have its matcha powder dissolved very well and I had to swallow some small chunks of those, so it was quite unpleasant. Would be willing to try their food menu because I was intrigued but might not happen cause I don’t come to this area almost at all.
Ordered lemongrass chicken Banh mi, the portion is generous. I don’t taste lemongrass AT ALL. Bottom line is it’s not a Banh Mi, can be a ok sandwich

Love the oatmeal. Update: I stopped coming here when the person I’d pick my order up from, Kevin, always gave me shit about asking for a spoon in person. For one reason or another Kevin would say I’d need to request utensils on DoorDash even though id explain i only comes once a week because i drop my friend off at work and she orders it for me on her DD but either way DD doesn’t allow my friend to request anything, he’s expecting her to type in a spoon every time in the “request” section for reasons like “trying to save the earth or trying to save the time because they’re busy (store would be completely empty when I came in too) he’d then would proceed to waste 2 minutes each time explaining why asking for a spoon in person is harming the environment or wasting his time. What an annoying experience I allowed self to endure.
10/10 for friendly staff and vibes! 0/10 for the matcha strawberry latte. It tastes very gritty, artificial, and just…bad. Super cute place, but will not order this again.

They need better bread for their sandwiches. Sometimes it’s so small and it either falls apart or feels unchewable. The bread is always wet. It feels over, buttered. It feels like it was microwaved because it’s hard to chew.

These folks can't cook an egg correctly to save their lives. Every once in a while I decide to give them another chance and I always regret it. Way too pricey for a sandwich that isn't even that good Update, 8 months later I gave the same order another shot and they continue to disappoint.
