Bun-licious Long Island City Reviews
opened close to my place, very good and adorable foods.
The food and service is great. Reasonable price
I strongly recommend Soupy pork bun.
Super authentic xiaolong bao, shengjian bao, and jiaozi. Takes me back to China. Very friendly service. They also have the best Beijing style yogurt drink outside of Beijing. Highly recommend!
I love this place! This is gotta be my to go delicious affordable Chinese food in the neighborhood! The amount of food for less than 10 dollars is just unbeatable in this economy! Especially when it doesn’t require tipping? Wow I might as well stop cooking at home and just do take out here
Delicious and fresh food, clean, and wonderful service! Randomly stopped by and while the food took a little bit, it was worth the wait. I got the braised beef noodle soup! The atmosphere is small, quiet, and understated.

My partner and I were in the neighborhood and got really excited when we saw a soup dumpling spot around the corner. We ordered the pork xiao long bao and the pork and crab xiao long bao, both were super fresh and delicious, especially for the price (~$18 for both). We eat a lot of XLB and Asian food in general, so trust us when we say it’s worth checking out! The staff are really kind, honest, and seem genuinely hardworking. I definitely recommend trying this place at least once if you get the chance, whether you’re stopping in or ordering on a food app. We’ll definitely be coming back :) Excited to try their other dishes!
This is the late night spot! If you’re ever hungry and cold, they will be kind and cook you great bites! The value is there and they make most of their menu in house. I highly recommend the dumplings and the tomato soup! I thought their braised beef was fantastic. What you expect is exactly what you get, and i love it! Can’t wait to go back
The cook was alone. Regardless, he was kind and took our order. We ordered Pork Belly with rice and Beef Stew with rice. Both were excellent! Great Food! We wish the restaurant much prosperity!
Love this place! Like the other reviews mentioned, the food is super affordable but is incredible and in huge portions. The employees are super kind and helpful as well. Definitely coming back here!
Very good place, everything on their menu is very affordable. I would go here for my lunch because the portions of their noodles and rice are huge. Would recommend going this place, but they have a broken ac, hope they get it fixed fast.
This place deserves more attention! Tried it for the first time and the dumplings were delicious. Support local and try this place!
The soupy pork buns are really good, and this place is quite affordable. Perfect for a cheap filling lunch in the area
Great soupy buns and meat skewers! Open late as well, Tom rocks!

The food here is alright. Nice and cheap, but don't expect too much. Not as good as Flushing, Main St. standards. Came here to try it out cuz of all the positive reviews.

Some constructive criticism...I was excited to see there was a soup dumpling place near my job. But when I walked in during my lunch hour I was completely confused if it was opened or not. The lights where off and there was nobody manning the front. I looked at the menu and all the prices on the menu was crossed out and repriced. Honestly the atmosphere just felt odd. So i just walked out. Maybe its just a place where people order delivery or takeout? 🤷 I was hoping it will be a go to spot to chill out during my lunch break but unfortunately it turned me off and I didn't get to order anything.
I wanted to order dumplings but couldn't. It felt disorderly once I walked in. There were 2 people behind the counter, one of them seems to be with the seated family. Their kids were being playful but it didn't help the confusion I felt. There were 2 menus, one with price changes and the other seems to be for hot pot. I don't know if I'll come back.

Terrible. Order the beef stew noodle… there was barely any beef and the soup was so oily. I couldnt even finish the meal. Also the place looked abandoned and i was the only person inside eating. Very strange. Did not taste fresh
Ordered online for pickup, went to pick up turns out restaurant was not open. Despite being listed as open on Google as well as the ordering website. Please update accurate hours.
I came in at one point mid-day and starving, and was told that nothing that I wanted in the menu was available due to "no one placing orders." It was like, char siu buns, chicken skewers, and soup. Basic stuff. I think either the guy just didn't want to cook at that moment, or didn't want to serve me to be completely honest. If you don't have food available, why are you offering the menu at the door? Or why is the store even open, at that point? I was really excited to try. I haven't been back since because I'm not going to go all the way over there just to be told that nothing is available.
