I bought Thanksgiving traditional meal for take out with their delish blackberry cobbler and it was very good and zero work on my part except to reheat and make a couple of sides. Ez breezy, so worth it!!! Turkey was tender, dressing better than most restaurants, good gravy and comfort dish sides like squash casserole and Mac and cheese. And rolls and cranberry sauce included. Everyone enjoyed it.

This is my second time at a Cotton Patch Cafe. I have very much enjoyed both visits, their Catfish and Shrimp combo platter is great. They have a lot of down south sides that are also delicious. If you are near one and looking for some good eats, then by all means give the Cotton Patch a try..

The waiter (Rose) was d best waiter I've ever had. She was very sweet, kind and friendly. She make u feel really special ✨️. I just love her. And d food OMG was delicious. Everything was hot and fresh. Noooo complaints from us. We will definitely be back very soon.

This was my first time here and I have to say I was extremely impressed. I'm vegetarian so I chose the vege platter. It's $9 and you get 5 fixins. The fixins include all kinds of sides. I chose a house salad (most delicious ranch I've had in awhile), loaded baked potato (minus bacon), steamed veges, Mac n cheese and tomato Basil soup. They also gave us 2 rolls when we first sat down. It's such a huge delicious amount of food. If I went to taco bell and ordered a black bean Crunchwrap Supreme and 2 bean burritos it would be about the same price and way less nutritious and flavorful. I was so full! I will definitely come back when in the area. The staff is super fast and friendly. The patrons were classy and respectful. 80s music playing lol.

We already like to come to the Cotton Patch as the food is pretty good. However, we decided to be adventurous and go on a Saturday night for their steak special. This isn't a steak house, so we weren't expecting much. However, lately, most of the steakhouses aren't much to brag about either. We found out this is one of Longview's best kept secrets! The steak was tender and flavorful. The salad was as pretty as it was tasty, and the baked potatoe was perfect! I haven't had such a good baked potatoe in years! Much better than what we've been getting at the local steakhouses. Service was great! (We had Lucas as our server) It was quicker, and quieter than going to any of the steakhouses around here. It all was so good that we tried the butter cake desert. It was good, but I think we will try the peach cobbler next time. My husband asked me if this was going to be our new Saturday night thing as we enjoyed it so much. I think it just might! Excuse the photos, I got my half of the potatoe and cut the onions up before I took the pictures.

A couple weeks ago, I went to the cotton patch in Longview. It was my first time ever at a cotton patch. The food was very enjoyable, and the value options were terrific. Our waiter, Xander, What is superb. He kept coming back to our table to make sure our drinks were full, that our food tasted good, and that we had everything we needed. He also made sure I had a cobbler to take home with me. It was delicious! If you’ve never been to cotton patch, I would suggest going.

Xander was absolutely incredible! He truly made our entire dining experience unforgettable. He was attentive, kind, and gave us honest recommendations on what to order and he was completely right, everything was amazing! You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and takes pride in what he does. We left not only full, but so impressed by his service.

Great food and Jaylon was real attentive. My parents always take me to the Longview Tx location and the food is always good. The service is too. My parents eat there regilarly and said Jaylon is one of the best servers in all of Longview which is quite a conploment since they eat out seven days a week.

Jay was our waitress and she was exceptional! She had a lot going on as far as meeting the needs of her customers but I never felt she wasn't being attentive to my requests. She was great!

I had the $9.99 Special...BLT with 2 sides. The sandwich was exceptional!! The bacon was thick cut and cooked crisp with reasonable fat. Atmosphere very nice, all staff friendly and appreciative we patronized their establishment. It was a great first impression for a person who had never eaten at a Cotton Patch Cafe! BTW, parking is free and abundant. Access is right off the main road.

The restaurant was much cleaner on this visit. The food was fresh and hot, unlike the past two visits. We could tell that changes have been made to try to restore some of the old Cotton Patch flavor. We hope they will be able to continue to make changes as new carpeting is badly needed and some paint would help. Joshua, our server, was attentive and professional. It was very crowded today. Our server Niya, did a very good job taking care of us. I had their new brisket sandwich with Mac n cheese. I found it delicious. We had the Dr Pepper cake for dessert, and splitting it was no problem for our server. We found it a bit sweet, even with the ice cream. Next time, I may try the peach cobbler.

We planned a get together for my 96-year-old great aunt and my 83-year-old uncle and other family members. I called and reserved the back room, and the manager was very helpful to me in doing that. Our visit there was perfect! Our server was attentive and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious. When we got ready to leave we wanted a picture of all of us and we asked one of the employees to help. She very enthusiastically came outside with us and took several pictures of our group. This place has everything a tourist from New England could possibly want for classic southern comfort food. Steak fingers with the jalapeño gravy was awesome, so was the brisket queso. Local East Texas restaurant that has grown to many other locations We Only had one problem and that was with the hostess who tried to squeeze our party of four into a tiny table. The restaurant was pretty much empty because it was during lunch. The two people before us were given a nice big giant table and the single Diner that came in just after us also got a big giant table with no problems. After this interaction and getting a normal size table to use the celebration started. Appetizers and entrees were ordered along with the drinks and everything was delicious. I wish this restaurant provided appetizer combos like all the other restaurants do but unfortunately they don't and you're forced to order each appetizer individually. So that's what we did fried pickles, fried green tomatoes and chicken fried bacon were ordered and devoured by our group. For main entrees we had grilled chicken salad, brisket quesadillas, and 2 chicken fried steak meals. Grilled chicken salad was served with balsamic vinaigrette which was absolutely amazing. Brisket quesadilla came with salsa and sour cream and with equally as amazing as chicken salad. The chicken fried steak meals were served with mashed potatoes that were out of this world delicious, green beans and side salads. These meals were also just as amazing as the other meals.

The food was wonderful. The steak and shrimp were both great and cooked to order. It was extremely busy today. They were not quite used to that level of business. The wait time was 20 minutes to be seated. We were not assigned a waiter. We used to go cups and to go silverware because of the back up. After approaching a waiter, he jumped in and did a great job. Again, the quality of the food was wonderful. The restaurant was clean and conducive to conversation. The bathrooms were clean even with the large crowd. Over all it was a great place to get comfort food and worthy of another visit at a less busy time.

I had the shrimp basket. The shrimp were on the small side & not very tasty, compared to other restaurants of the same price range. They ran out of baked sweet potatoes on Tuesday at 5:45 pm, right when the dinner crowd arrives. What?? Was going to be 30 minute wait. No thanks. Husband enjoyed his chicken-fried steak. Granddaughter enjoyed her chicken & dumplings. I would be willing to try a 2nd time and order something different. I DON'T recommend the fried shrimp.

Comfort food at its finest. My wife and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, the servers and our food as well. I didn’t rate it a five star imo due to the fact that we ordered deep fried mushrooms appetizer while placing our drink order so that we could snack before or meal and about 10 mins later we placed our dinner order. The appetizer was brought out and about 30 seconds later our food followed. For us, it kinda defeated the purpose of and appetizer. We would recommend it though because the food is good!

Haven't eaten here in a while. I must say the customer service was the best 👌. The food was good, a little salty 🧂 for me. The chicken fried chicken tasted like the need to change the grease. Overall, all we left full and satisfied. I will try them again.

I was on a business trip on 12/09/25, my wife and I decided to try out the Cotton Patch in Longview. It was a great choice, food was very good and portioned very well. Our waitress Tabitha was phenomenal, she made our dinner experience extremely comfortable. Tabitha was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She was always ensuring that all of our needs we met. I never leave reviews for anything. But I needed to express how bad the food was here. I only left two starts instead of one because I don’t want to affect the staff. They were perfect. The food, however. It’s been a couple of hours since I’ve eaten there and the taste is still in the back of my throat. My buddy and I went and right upon entering, a customer brought some bread rolls to the hostess saying they were raw. They were indeed raw when we got ours. I had the meatloaf with broccoli and fries, and my buddy had the chicken fried steak with green beans and mashed potatoes. Oh and brisket queso as an appetizer. Everything tasted terrible. The brisket queso looked like someone threw sloppy Joe meat into some white goo and microwaved it, and I couldn’t even swallow it it tasted so bad. The meatloaf was gross, i genuinely don’t know how you can mess up fries or broccoli, but here I am writing this review. I won’t write about my buddies food because he’ll probably do that himself. In summary, the worst restaurant food I’ve ever had. Made me feel like I shouldn’t have eaten that. Staff was great though!! Just want to make that known. Hostess and waitress were amazing. We came in to the restaurant, excited because I had not been there in a year, and my husband had never tried it because we’re new to the area. When we walked in every single server was hanging over the counter where they place the food for the service to take to tables. The host began taking us to our table when we stepped into the dining room and almost lost our shoes due to the stickiness of the floor. The floor is covered in foam squares and the entire place is so sticky that with each step it tried to remove your shoe from your foot. It was disgusting. There were only a few patrons in the restaurant at the time and yet all the tables were dirty with all of the servers standing at the counter. They wiped down the table, and I went to the restroom where I found the toilets full of pink, mold and mildew from not being scrubbed in so long. I walked back to the table, trying to keep my shoes on my feet, got my husband and we left. The fact that a restaurant would not take the time care and money to properly clean. The establishment is disgusting. Someone needs to call the health department because if the floors are that disgusting out in the dining room, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like.

Store mgr Ashley refused to believe these items weren’t in the bag when it left the store and blamed it on DoorDash driver. She insisted she packed the bag herself and stapled it. Photo of bag w/order prove otherwise. Never getting their food again. DoorDash’s response was also terrible. What a waste of $59.58. Never again.

Careful if you come here with food allergies I told them I was allergic to tomatoes yet they still put cocktail sauce on my plate. You could kill someone being so careless.

Got the All you can eat fir 15.00. Only serve two things. Fish and french fries. Fries were very limp greasy fries. Fish was ok but certainly not close to the best. Oh yeah they did give me two small hush puppies. Overall i simply thought it was terrible. The waitress was very sweet and the tea was very good.

Oddly, we were not greeted at the entrance as we arrived. We stood in awkward silence wondering if we were to seat ourselves. Our appetizer, the chicken fried bacon, was excellent. From that moment our experience went downhill. Both of our orders were incorrect when they arrived. My wife's unsweetened tea was refilled with sweet tea. The manager on duty was summoned by the waiter, didn't Introduce himself, and didn't seem to know what to say. My fried okra was very oily and the bowl it was served in was partially filled with oil.
