Tres Hermanas Winery Los Alamos Reviews
The guys are so great. The wine is even better. Love, love, love❤ AND they are dog friendly❤🐕❤
Our server,Brad, was incredibly accommodating and flexible with our group! Found us a new table on the patio so we could have more space and treated us like old friends! 10/10 service!
We tasted 5 still wines and 4 sparkling wines. And a wonderful hostess let us taste an extra sparkling! According to the hostess, this winery is very good at Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, and I feel so too. I liked the Bedrock Chardonnay the most.
Boutique winery. All the wines are from estate grown grapes, all SIP certified ( sustainable practices). We found both the Pinots and the chardonnays exceptional. They also make sparkling wines, which we did not taste. The tasting room in the funk zone of Santa Barbara had indoor and outdoor sitting.
Friendly staff, cool atmosphere, love the glitter bottles, and the sparkling flight was delicious. Server was the sweetest even making local reccomendations.
We had two Chardonnay’s and loved the atmosphere and customer service. Great place for your first glass of the evening.

In Santa Barbara for birthday weekend and went to Riverbench Tasting room in the Funk Zone. RB is small batch winery of Foxen Canyon Road fame. Had the pinot noir flight which was delicious. 2019 Palm, 2018 Mount Eden, 2018 Clone 115, 2017 Mesa and the 2013 Tributary. I'll have to go back and retaste these to tell you my favorite as they were all outstanding. The nose on all the pinots was quite distinct and perfumy. The best part of the whole deal was that I decided to join one of their wine clubs and learned that my tasting and my wife's was complimentary. So I had some great pinot, sort of for free (wine club cost was around $125 or so), and also get 9 bottles of their choice pinot per year. Brad our server was excellent and offered some excellent suggestions for thai asian food in the area. Side note. A couple came in while we were tasting and Paul the husband was originally from Rockville Centre, NY where my old boss, Denis Dillon, former Nassau County DA lived and I grew up next door in Hempstead. We went down the rabbit hole of high schools, Southside basketball stars of the 70s, Chelsea, Arsenal, etc. football in the UK. Great afternoon. The best news is that as a club member I can go back for more complimentary tastings.
Amazing sparking. 2nd favorite winery in Santa Barbara. Blanc de noirs is our favorite—fruity, bright and acidic, with a nice balance of yeast. Heather is an OUTSTANDING and super fun wine educator—the best we experienced in Santa Barbara.
Friendly staff and refined tasting room, but the wines really stand out here. Their sparkling selection is easily some of the best I've had from the area, but the rest of their whites are just as tasty as are the reds. Should be a hit with most people.
A lovely place to lounge and enjoy one of Santa Barbara's only sparkling wine flights. Don't underestimate the Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays, either, though - they're delicious and well made. Quality wines without pretentious pricepoints.
A beautiful tasting room in Santa Barbara to sip locally grown Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Santa Barbara sparkling wine made from the aforementioned varietals. Friendly, helpful staff always guides me through my sparkling wine tasting flight. My personal favorite wines are the 100% stainless steel fermented Bedrock Chardonnay, Mesa and Pommard Santa Maria Pinot Noirs and every one of their sparkling wines. Super perks for Santa Barbara wine club members.
I came in from out of town (Texas) to visit family and was brought here—and I cannot rave enough about the experience! We were lucky enough to have Venessa lead our tasting, and her wine knowledge absolutely blew me away. I learned so much and even discovered a new favorite wine. I highly recommend their summer tasting—it was phenomenal. I ended up going home with a bottle that wasn’t even on the list! (The Late Harvest Riesling is hands-down the best dessert wine I’ve ever tasted.) Out of all the tasting rooms I’ve visited, this one stands out by far. If you can, ask for Venessa—she truly made the experience unforgettable!
We hosted a private event at Riverbench. Brad & team could not have been more responsive, engaging & accommodating, both in the planning process and at the tasting itself. When the chilly weather thwarted our original outdoor plan, they were quick to pivot to an indoor tasting. The wines were great, the team was knowledgeable, and it was the perfect, relaxed setting for our event. Several walked away as new members of the wine club.
We hosted a large group tasting here and Brad and team were AMAZING! The wine was fantastic and he was super knowledgeable, hospitable and really made a great impression on the group. I look forward to returning!
Really enjoyed the wines & this experience! They had three flight options - all Pinot, mixed Chardonnay & Pinot, and an all sparkling flight. We shared the Pinot and mixed flights, but also tried three of the sparkling (the cuvée, Blanc de Blanca and Blanc de Noir), so got to try a bit of everything and have to say it was all excellent! The sparklings were elegant and complex, and we found the Pinots to also be diverse and also very elegant, but with a lot of character. The two chardonnays we had were great with one being oaked and one unoaked. They also had a carbonic Pinot Meunier which was so fun and surprising. All small production from their vineyards in the Santa Rita hills, and most of the wines we tried were 2017/2018 vintage and were tasting beautifully. Brad was our host and was knowledgeable, friendly and patient with our group. They have a relaxed tasting room and charming back patio area outside, next to restaurants and other tasting rooms. We were allowed to bring some outside food to enjoy out back, though I recommend eating before or after the tasting, since our food did interfere with some of the flavors in some cases. They had a charcuterie tray available for purchase that looked really good as well. I’m so happy we found this spot and hope to stop here again on a future visit
Thank you to Regan who gave us the best experience at Riverbench. Had some stunning sparkling which could rival champagne. Regan has great energy and is a natural host - thank you so much for making Santa Barbara memorable!

Glass wine price not on the menu, it’s around $20 a glass, just so you know. Just buy a bottle, it’s better value for money.

I was experiencing a day of sisterhood with 10 phenomenal proud Black women in Santa Barbara . We stop by Funk Town for some wine tasting. Our first stop was Riverbench Tasting Room. We were all smiles and laughter before we experienced a gut punch thrown in the form of Blatant Racism. We asked for wine tasting for 11 ,and were told, we couldn’t be accommodated. But wait…the place was practically empty, and the bar was certainly empty. A friend said, “you can’t even accommodate us at the bar”??? They looked dumbfounded for a minute, then said ,yes we can. At this point, there was no way we would remotely consider leaving our dollars at this place! So I would ask, if you are against RACISM and support love for humanity, DON’T support this place!!
With so many great places to taste wine in Santa Barbara, I recommend skipping Riverbench. Their pours are meticulously measured and so small, and our waiter knew absolutely nothing about the wine. It was her first day, and not her fault, but we were surprised she was sent out on the floor without any information or training. It took about an hour to be served four microscopic tasting sips that were mediocre and came with zero information.
I coordinated a day trip to Santa Barbara with 10 other women. While exploring the Funk Zone, we came across this winery. Upon entering, an employee asked what our group was looking for instead of welcoming us in. After we said we were interested in a wine tasting, the employee suggested a different location, Cutlers, which serves spirits, even though we had specifically asked for a wine tasting. Then she said they couldn't accommodate a group of 11. I noticed the bar area was empty and that there was enough room for our group to at least stand, as a few customers even offered to move over in the seating area. Feeling unwelcome and disrespected, I led our group out of the winery. We felt that the treatment was unacceptable, unaccommodating, and disrespectful, and I couldn't help but feel that out group was turned away so quickly because we were a group of African American women.
