Bru Coffeebar Los Angeles Reviews
Good coffee and good pastries. We got lucky because they were almost out of pastries in the late afternoon. We found this place when we looked for something with plenty of parking. They do have plenty of parking in the back so if you're looking for easy parking this is your place.
I loved it they have sockets place to sit without being embarrassed, bathroom and sandwitches.
I love the vibe when I got there. My cappuccino could have been better but I'm not complaining. The pastry that I bought was good though paired well with my coffee. The baristas were friendly and I did not feel any unsatisfactory customer service. Both were welcoming. Will definitely be back here for sure.
Nice place, try Ised Arancia (coffee)

I’m not going to dock a star or anything for this, but I’d like to communicate my only complaint about this lovely cafe in a review: y’all need to dust/sweep the top of the big iron beam and air duct in here. they’re really dusty. get a big long broom or something.
Great coffee and the door actually goes both ways when you think you should leave.
Sweet baristas and coffee is good! A few places to sit both in and outdoors!
Great drinks and great music. I came in on New Year's Day and the barista had a fun jumpsuit on and a "Happy New Year's" crown on and was really friendly. I got the Ginger Tumeric Latte and it was great. Edit: I came back here when the power went out recently and this place was a haven in Los Feliz -- the employees were very kind and thoughtful even when they had a line to the door, letting us use their wifi and power
Love love love this place! Good coffee, kind service, and a nice place to get some work done when I'm feeling couped up in my apartment. I moved into the neighborhood recently and feel so welcome here by Brent and the rest of the crew!

I got a standard drip coffee, for $5, which was fine. I think the appeal of this place is not their menu or their pastries but just the interior. There’s an outdoor seating, indoor and then separate area upstairs. There’s a small art section featuring local artist and some small goods.
Bru Coffeebar is a neat coffee spot in Los Feliz. I stopped by after a run in Griffith Park and enjoyed a good cup of flat white. The overall experience was nice too, friendly barista and chill atmosphere. They carry pastries from Friends & Family, one of my favorite bakeries in LA, so that's definitely a plus. Also worth mentioning is the beautiful large photographs on the wall. they are shot by a local photographer and add some colors to the space.
Stopped by Bru after getting some lunch nearby to get some work done, and there weren't too many options for a coffee shop with WiFi in the area, so this option was great. The iced Americano was decent and the WiFi was good, but it was just super busy and the upstairs loft section was so crowded and tight that people kept bumping into each other moving up and down to get their orders or leave.
I found parking on a paid lot about a block away. I sat upstairs where they have a few outlets to charge your computer. It was pretty quiet, everyone was either on their computer or reading a book. The tables were all occupied. The breakfast sandwich isn’t exceptionally good, it’s ok if you’re hungry but it didn’t change my life. They had pastries so I’ll try one of those next time. The coffee was nothing out of the ordinary.
Pretty crowded spot. My drink came out fairly quickly though and I liked my matcha latte.
cool place with a bunch of vegan pastry options. 🤙🏽 got an iced vanilla latte, wife got a drip& we snacked on their vegan coffee cake. pretty good, all in all.

I came here just to grab my high standard cappuccino (just as on the picture uploaded by owner) and got this “beauty” for $6 each. Do you think it’s fair? I feel cheated
Fantastic coffee and atmosphere but they have nearly no outlets yet there are covered outlet plates throughout the establishment that could be converted ... if that changes I'll edit this to 5 stars

This would have gotten a higher overall rating but they've recently covered all of their outlets! I usually stay for one or two hours, but often need to keep my laptop going... now... I can't. So, I have less of a reason to ever return here.
This was one of my favorite places to have a coffee and work remotely on my laptop, but after a couple of experiences of rude service I won't be returning. It's a shame because the coffee is pretty darn good. I believe kind service from the staff is setting the bar pretty low for a coffee shop and unfortunately Bru has failed a few times to meet that threshold.

Generally good experience here but consistency is unfortunately everything. This was the second attempt at a cortado today. Both were undrinkable and barista didn’t seem to care so I just went to Intelligentsia after.
