Cruzer Pizza Los Angeles Reviews
2nd review from my other account . Great place great food , perfect location off of hillhurst , which has a great vibe and other cute cafes, make sure to park in the residential area . This is the best place to go out of all the other spitz parking is easier , staff are great. Vegan and vegetarian friendly . They do have sangria there. My favorite is the loaded falafel fries and the pita bread in hummus its top tier
This was a delicious spot for lunch for a large group for fast casual. It is very fresh and tasty Mediterranean food with a big menu so lots of different options depending on your palate. My husband and I love the lamb and chicken shawarma dish, it was extremely good, the vegetable were really fresh and the harissa sauce on the side was very tasty. It was very filling and satisfying which was perfect for our group because we were hungry after a long morning spent exploring the Getty. I cannot recommend this place enough for lunch if you’re in Los Felis area and want something that’s tasty and fast.
This place is very well maintained and clean and I received great customer service from Gio she was awesome and they have a great selection of draft beers and sangrias, the food was so amazing and the music they had was great too! highly recommend this place if you like Mediterranean cuisine or if you want to try something new, really beautiful atmosphere and I’m definitely going to come back here when im in the area.
This kebab joint was recommended by a friend and now I'm recommending it!! Awesome atmosphere with plenty of room and light and patio space to day drink or meet up with friends! The food was great! The bread was crunchy and the meat was like butter!! I recommend visiting during Happy Hour if it's your first time! (Also the music playing was Awesome! And look how cool the restrooms are!)
During my stay in LA, I’ve been coming here almost daily. I found the best Mediterranean restaurant here, great variety of food, and you can also find VEGAN options! The ingredients are extremely fresh, and the portions are generous for the price. I highly recommend this location or any of their other locations, as they have multiple restaurants in LA. I’ve fallen in love with it.
The food has gotten better than it was a couple of years ago. The lemon-herb tahini dressing is lovely. The sweet potato fries and garlic aoili are great. And they remade my drink very sweetly and quickly when there was a misunderstanding. And now they have a gluten-free section in their menu. I'm so glad it's a place I want to come back to more regularly again now that it's under new ownership.
Top notch! The food is amazing! And I'm saying it as a Mediterranean hooman (Persian gal that spent half of life on the Mediterranean coast). It's just 10 out of 5! And beer selection is a separate respect! It's so rare to find a place with this kind of cousin and alcohol under the same roof. Guys, you're the best!
So glad I stumbled upon this place! The vegan gyro was generously portioned, with well-seasoned falafel and a delicious, tangy sauce. It looked like they had a great beer and sangria selection, so I will have to return for happy hour.
I don't have crazy, controlling, cravings, for many places. But this is definitely a place I get the cravies for. Their meat is savory and delicious. And I can get french fries in my gyro just the way I like it. Spitz is one of a few casual restaurants I can get lamb. They have a large, varied, craft-heavy beer selection. But most importantly, the staff is always amazing! They are always friendly, helpful, kind, and full of great energy and grace every time I've gone. I don't know if all their restaurants hire such exceptional people but the Los Felix location sure does. The atmosphere is vibrant, contemporary, funky, punky, and street inspired with murals of paper tile mosaics of Xerox imagery. And the lighting is boss. It's clever and arty but practical and inspires in that DIY way. In the outside world ( anything outside my house that is!), I often feel disconnected. Society, it seems hasn't recovered from the traumas and discomforts of COVID and seems more fearful and angry than ever. So, any reprieve from this mode, I welcome. And Spitz shines as a local, groovy, healthy, delicious, and comfortable place to have a meal.
Ninaaaaaa we love you. ✨ Literally spitz or nothing else. Doner salad every damn day.
Always great! Love that they have vegan options too!!
My wife is pregnant and was having a huge migraine when she came to Spitz. She was in so much pain she could barely drive but knew she needed to eat. The waitress could tell my wife was suffering waiting for the food. She was so sweet telling her it will be right out, her order is next, etc. My wife enjoyed the food and will definitely be back. Thank you for taking care!
Third time and the original gyro never fails! First time was through Uber Eats and it was so good and fresh considering a delivery, that I had to go in to see the place for myself. This is my second time driving to the Hillhurst Ave. location for take out. Although I’m in and out, Mike makes the visit that much more special because of his genuine hospitality and customer service. I wish the entire company much success and with an employee like Mike, you’ll always win!
Always consistently delicious and quality food and beers. Great happy hour specials. My favorite local haunt. Also always great music playing!
The best Mediterranean food you can get in Los Feliz, but with a modern twist. On top of that, their Sangria is top notch and the vibes are 10/10!
Love everything about this place including all the amazing VEGAN options. Modern mediterranean mashups on the menu and the zhoug and harissa on the side
Spitz in Los Feliz never disappoints! The street cart doner wrap is my go-to—packed with flavor and always hits the spot. The staff is quick and friendly, and the vibe inside is fun and casual. Perfect spot for a laid-back lunch or dinner. Bonus points for the sweet potato waffle fries—addictive! Great spot for Mediterranean street food done right.
What a great surprise. This place has fantastic modernized Mediterranean food. I’ll be back.
All around great Mediterranean food. Love the vibes inside too. Staff is chill and food comes out fast.
Quaint restaurant but it caught my eye on the road. It came highly recommended by my friends in the city. They had a great menu with some super tasty ingredients, especially if you're looking for a quick bite with vegan options. I loved the beers that had on tap and will for sure be back to have a drink at the bar. The service was quick and the servers were super friendly. The food portions were more than enough and I absolutely loved the decor. I will keep recommending this place to folks who are in the city.
What a LA gem, right on the bus line from Griffin observation. Spitz serves lot of different alcohol and the food is up there for price and amount you get so come hungry. We got the street cart wrap mix meat and the doner basket. The street cart wrap with mix meat took the wrap and layer each of it with taste it didn't overwhelm with just one saucy but they layer each without too much. The basket surprise me at how much was in it the mix piles on each other but each done well on its own it's good way to taste everything including their amazing falafel which was the highlight of the bowl. If I had lived near by I would just come everyday. It's got a bar vibe but every staff is friendly and working pretty hard. Don't miss this gem
It’s the amazing vibe here that won my heart. This chill, hip, relaxing, and fun atmosphere is totally worth you a visit. I came on a Friday afternoon and people work and study here. But I can see it will be packed will people at night. The staff is very nice. Street parking is relatively easy. They have a massive beer menu, especially for happy hours!
One of my favourite places to eat in town. Great Turkish doner based menu with a twist of Mexican fusion. Food is amazing. Great selection of beers and a nice bar, great for watching sport. There is a great weekday happy hour from 3-6pm. They also have a selection of board games!
I just stumbled in. The decorations really cool and the food wraps are awesome and little sauces to add to your wraps. I highly recommend I’m coming back.
Cool spot in Los Feliz/ East Hollywood. It's a Mediterranean type place. I tried the gyro with the lamb beef filling and it was solid. The gyro was good sized and they put some fries in it as well. Also tried the lightly fried pita strips and it was chewy but a little crunchy. They also have an Arnold Palmer drink which was a little plain. The prices are reasonable especially for the area so I would recommend.
I drove 40 minutes to try this place and it did not disappoint. Super friendly service, very cool atmosphere (casual but nice) and an extensive menu. Everything was very clearly labeled for dietary restrictions which I really appreciated. A lot of vegan options! I ordered a falafel wrap and a hummus/pita side and both were incredibly good. I ended up taking half home so the amount of food you get for the price was great. I will definitely be back again.
I kinda liked their menu, very diverse, flexible and friendly, quality of food good and nice staff, good vegan options
Greek fusion bar food - if you haven’t tried this place then you need to! Our street cart fries and wrap were tasty - they also two salsas and both go great with the food. They have a lot of seating with a big open space. This location is a bit secluded so I enjoy coming here to avoid crowds or long lines.
The food and drink here was really good. Highly recommend the Doner Basket and Sangria. Staff are also super friendly and accommodating!
The first place I ate when I stepped foot in LA, this is actually my favorite restaurant in LA, good memories and great taste, such a nice area, everything about spitz is awesome! I suggest literally anything on the menu!
The food is always so fresh here, we love ordering from Spitz. Crunchy lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and yummy tzatziki…can’t go wrong with the OG gyro!!
I love Spitz— employees are super nice, the food is consistently good, especially the gyros and sweet potato fries! only complaint is that a few times I’ve asked if the sauces are in my order and been told yes, and then there are no sauces.
The menu is packed with flavorful options—I especially loved their Döner wraps and Street Cart Fries, which were loaded with delicious toppings and perfectly seasoned. Their house-made sauces add an extra layer of flavor that really stands out. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a great place to hang out with friends. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring you have a good experience.
Liked the overall experience at this place. Lively surroundings, not much busy on weekend mornings and of course value for money food. Tried the wraps and bowl. Baklava was okay, not fresh I would say. Could see efforts in blending Mediterranean food with American touch (e.g. quinoa replacing rice! ) Ordering is easy, just go to the counter and order there, food will come to you (mostly self service). Here is the new format I'm trying now-a-days for a better review - Ambience/cleanliness - 3.5/5 Food - 4/5 Service time - 3/5 Value for money - 4/5 Parking is on the streets which could be tough to find. Suggestion- improve service time as it took 15-20 minutes without much traffic!
Fun place to to with decent food. This is a really good place for bigger groups since it is fairly large, parking can be difficult though. I did love the vibes inside, it is very bright and colorful, has good music playing, and board games lined up against the wall. The person at the register was pleasant. STREET CART DONER (7/10) This wrap was okay, the sauce on it was good, but the veggies didnt feel super crisp. The veggies were chewey and I felt like that there wasn't a ton of the meat I ordered in there. I don't think that it was bad, it just didn't taste super fresh. I would be more forigiving if the meal didn't cost $20. This is a decent place to check out. My biggest issue is the costs, most meals will cost $20+ and I know many other places I would rather go to, but the space and convenience of this location may be worth it for some people.
Definitely would come back especially for the sangria Tuesday. Not the best but gets the job done. Choose chicken over the beef/lamb. Go to halal guys for that. The Berliner fries are definitely a must, as are the sweet potato fries!
First time here and I’ll be back for sure. The Berliner and bowl we got were pretty tasty. Solid beer selection but a little on the pricier side for a pint.
Great ambiance. I was kinda worried when I saw the board games. I was thinking that it would be a while for our food. But, it was actually pretty fast. The food was just ok. We got the lamb wrap "a locals favorite" and it was boring. You can't even tell it was lamb. The tacos were just ok. I don't think we'll return. Great ambiance, food, not memorable.
I was really disappointed with this Medi Bowl. The bowl I received looked nothing like the one advertised. The presentation was sloppy, ingredients were unevenly distributed, and it was missing the vibrant, fresh look shown in the photos. It honestly felt thrown together rather than carefully prepared. For the price, I expected something closer to what’s promoted online. If you’re going to advertise a beautiful, well-balanced bowl, the actual product should reflect that. Unfortunately, this did not.
Formal Complaint Message Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025 Time: 9:30 p.m I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction and disappointment with the experience I had at your restaurant on SPITZ. From the very beginning, the treatment I received from the person in charge was completely unacceptable. I was spoken to in a raised voice, with an aggressive and disrespectful attitude. At no point did I act disrespectfully or give any reason to be treated in such a manner, yet I was met with rudeness and unprofessional behavior. A restaurant is not judged solely by its food, but also by the quality of service and the respect shown to its customers. Unfortunately, in this case, the service was extremely poor. The behavior of the staff member in charge created an uncomfortable and hostile environment, leaving me feeling upset and disrespected. I strongly believe that no customer should ever be yelled at or treated rudely, especially in a business that serves the public. I encourage you to seriously review how your staff, particularly those in leadership positions, communicate with customers. I am sharing this feedback not to create conflict, but in the hope that it will lead to reflection and improvement. No customer should have to go through an experience like this. I would appreciate a response and, more importantly, actions that demonstrate a genuine commitment to respectful and professional customer service.
I was picking up my order and asked to use the restroom, to which the employee with a tunnel earring in his ear told me that the restroom was only for customers. This was very insulting.
