Delicious Pizza Los Angeles Reviews
First time coming to this restaurant for takeout. Got their 16 inch "Ballin" lamb meatball pizza. Wonderful!!! First bite was just of the pizza, less the Lamb. Impressive! Add the Lamb sausage and it puts the pizza over the top. We also got a slice of their 4 meat pizza. Also brilliant. Quality crust, sauce, and cheese make an excellent foundation for their toppings. In fact, their crust is one of our top-ten all-time pizza crusts. Will be back for their other offerings!!! Street parking is limited. Have been back for various pizzas and all are wonderful! Got their Eggplant Parmasan. Stellar bread along which they put wonderful Eggplant and toppings. Will also do this again.
The pizza is amazing, especially the crust.
Pizza is still just as fabulous here and it's one of the few places I actually still like going in person (especially when we have friends in from out of town and want a fun LA experience) because it's such a fun vibe. Though it's getting a little chilly now, they recently added groovy patio space in the back, sometimes even featuring music and artists from their own record labels, Delicious Vinyl.
Wow, best pizza I ever had. That's not an exaggeration, the pizza was the best. I'd heard of this spot being famous for pizza in LA with its own slice of history and it didn't disappoint. I love how the place is infused with music and rap culture, they actually have their own music label called Delicious Vinyl which I thought was pretty dope. I actually saw a poster inside of a rapper I like being part of an event they held there so I was pleasantly surprised but I wish I was at that event.
Love their pizza. Went here for an event left satisfied with great food , service and drinks. Pizza was delicious
The supreme (fresh mozzarella, basil and sliced garlic) margherita pizza is the pie to beat in my humble opinion. Add a little bit of Italian sausage for more zing, but great on its own. A great local spot with a variety of topping options, I believe some of them are made in house as well, which is great! The bar space, the outdoor family patio, and on site parking accessed from the back alley!
If you want a delicious hot cheesy and meaty New York style pizza, this is the place to get it! I’ve ordered the margherita pizza with mushrooms and gawwwlee Sgt., I’ve never in my whole life in Los Angeles had a delicious pizza like it! I’ve also had a sausage and pepperoni pizza and I melted under the table. 🫠🤤 I never knew of this place until last December and babyy, there’s no other place like it! Make sure you ask for the chili sauce, too! 😋
Always a great experience and great food 😊
Nice patio with heaters on a chilly November night. Friendly and attentive staff. High quality salad ingredients in the chopped salad. What more can you ask for?
This place has great pizza. It has the most amazing dj's and dancing. The vibe brings life to your soul.
Came for a private event and the staff was top notch, very friendly and helpful. Delicious pizza too I’ll be back!!
We walked in about a minute prior to opening as the first customers of the day. We were quickly given a table, menu, and drinks, and despite arriving pretty early, got our order very quickly. The pizza itself was fantastic, and the wings were also quite good. We were seated in the outdoor area (all by ourselves) and it was a very nice space, separated enough from the street to feel private.
I've been eating here for 4 years now and I have yet to find better pizza anywhere. There's no reason I would try another pizza joint at this point because 99% chance I'd regret I didn't just get Delicious Pizza. As they say, "You want it, baby you got it!".
Went for J Dilla night, beautiful experience. I love delicious vinyl, I love delicious pizza beautiful environment beautiful people, friendly staff amazing pizza. I could have sworn I took some photos of the beautiful pie before I devoured it. Oh well, give me a reason to come back
This pizza is excellent. ❤️❤️🙏🙏 Great Crust!! I found out about them on Best Pizza in La online on YouTube I think.. they use an organic sourdough yeast starter made by Travis!!in their crust so it gets better as it it's out. This one tonight well done has a great crunch/ burn on the crust. The sauce is so great tonight, and Not 100% on which kinds but I think they use a high end sopressetta I think and a parmigiana, instead of traditional mozzarella
One of our favorite local spots, delicious pizza and wings and amazing staff! Come here almost weekly.
Walking distance from my place. Quick easy and affordable.
Our longtime go-to place for pizza cravings. Love the food and the vibe!
Great place, great food, great service. My first time here and I really enjoyed this place. We were here celebrating a friend's birthday and enjoyed our pizzas, salad, and the drinks. Had the California Love (BBQ chicken) pizza, the Pesto pizza, and the Pepperoni pizza. Also, the chopped salad and chicken wings. I had the Smoked Pineapple drink and it was pretty good. A good blend without being overly or under saturated with alcohol. I enjoyed the atmosphere and it was just a great time. And Happy Hour is great! 50% off pizzas and $2 off drinks.
Great service and environment. Will definitely be back!
I’m sure I’m not the first to say it and definitely won’t be the last, but hey, they live up to their name. The pizza was top notch by LA’s standards. I didn’t necessarily get a great feel for the atmosphere since I did pick up at the end of the night, but they had music on that I loved, the staff was cool, which as someone who worked at restaurants that’s saying a lot since they were closing down but they were still cool to me. We ordered a few different pizzas and they were all delicious. Only thing I’ll say was their ranch wasn’t the best I’ve tried, kinda weird, too thick and didn’t have that savory buttermilk flavor you’re looking for in a ranch that accompanies pizza. Either way, love the pizza.
The chicken parm sandwich was delicious and so was the slice of cheese! Cesar salad was super fresh, outside area is really cool too.
This place has been a staple of the community for many years, and their amazing food and atmosphere make it a place that you want to keep coming back. The staff is friendly, and Carlos, the manager, makes sure you're always well served
Delicious Pizza is For The People. A glowing patio for private events, a gallery wall of music’s iconic moments, a kitsch but cool bar for late nights or pre games and calendar of live events —this place is happening . Leave it to a record label turned pizzeria to offer so many options to get your swerve on. For me, it was the pepperoni slice at the bar while Marvin Gaye’s “Distant Lovers” played.
Great vibe, great customer service. Good authentic hip hop feeling. Ive been here multiple timea and im always happy with my pizza and my experience. Its in a great location and the employees are top notch. Great for kids or if you wanna grab a quick bite. The happy hour is damn good too
The pizza flavor is great, thin slices with a right amount of sauce. Tastes distinct, really good. I got a sausage and pepperoni pizza and a Snake Dog IPA. I’m a huge IPA fan and this one doesn’t disappoint. The vibes in the restaurant are cool too, hip hop music in the background, posters, boomboxes, and art hung up on the walls. It’s a cool spot to hang out!
Good pie in a casual environment that is always playing 90s hip hop. They're not overly staffed so the team can come across as inattentive at times but they frequently seem asked to multitask at a level I wouldn't be great at either. Good, solid lunch spot for the salad and a slice combo and their whole pies are tasty too. Beer and wine help make me a regular. When we order for the office, their vegan pie is a favorite with those who are inclined to order that way. The arugula salad is my favorite salad selection. UPDATE: For quite some time, the Manager, Juan Carlos has been handling lunch and he is on the ball and hustles. Service is better than ever. Now a five star review :)
"Delicious Pizza" Is it more than just a name? Well I'm glad to inform you it's not. I've tried many chains and I've never had pizza like this. My first visit I tried out a slice of cheese and another with tomato and basil. I never expected simple cheese pizza to taste as damned good as it did. The employees everytime I visited were awesome as well and really chill. This photo was from another lunch.
Delicious pizza definitely has some of the better pizza in Los Angeles, especially for the price. I ordered over the phone and the lady that took my order was very nice and took my order fast. The pizza was made right on time for when they told me it would be ready, and was still hot by the time I got home. I ordered a large Rosa pizza for $21 and it was really good and had great value. There were ample toppings and they all tasted fresh and amazing. The large was more than enough for 3 people, but they only cut it into 6 large slices so if you want smaller portions, you'll have to cut it more yourself. I will add that the extra parmesan that they give you on the side is legit shredded parm and not that cheap stuff most places give you. If someone was looking for pizza in the Culver area, I'd definitely send them to Delicious Pizza!
Even your go-to's have to figure out who they are from time to time. You ask most folks how they discovered Delicious Pizza and you'll get the answer: we lived in the neighborhood a long time. West Adams isn't staying the same. You will see new faces at Delicious Pizza. I've met folks from Santa Monica area. Others will come from out of state. Class remains the same as they have done some renovations. They've got the top Mexican beer on tap, but I drink the top German Beer they have. It's tiring for places to go with a cheap bartenders. You find with Delicious a bartender that keeps your glass full, orders moving, and who doesn't like one that can handle a range of conversations. Even down to the bartender, Marissa shows her refinement through her cocktails. Because class is important to them, this allows them to stay with the changing area.
Customer service was on point. The vibes is amazing.Dope art on the walls, clean establishment. The food was delicious ten out of 😊
We are practically family here. Carlos is the bees knees. And everyone else that works there from the back of the house to the front
One of the best pizza places in ALL OF Los Angeles!! The staff here is extremely helpful and they cook a pizza that is crazy good and I highly recommend it. I went in there kind of late at night before closing and they still were very helpful and got my order finished in a prompt way. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a shot. My first time visiting delicious pizza and the name is exactly what it is. One of the most delicious pizza places I've ever been flavor was so delicate and unique. The cheese is one of the best tasting cheese blends I've ever had in Los Angeles. So many layers of spices go into crazy. Such a wonderful blend of cheese that is featured on their pizzas!! Also the crust could be its own menu item because of how decadent and delicious it is!
I enjoyed the Pizza and the Dope Hip Hop memorabilia around the place. This spot was good!
Ask for Miguel. He's awesome! Did you know it's happy hour 4-6pm Monday through Thursday? Half off all pizzas! Total must! And on a side note, come back another day to try their breakfast pizza! 😋
Great neighborhood pizza spot. Chill atmosphere and great vibes. they have awesome pies. I love this place.
I’m literally writing this review as I eat this pizza. My God it’s so good. I’m trying to figure out why this tastes so good. I got the Wild Thing small pizza and now I wish I got the bigger size. I went in and ordered and it was a busy Friday night but I got my food pretty quick and it was hot. This was so good, I got home and gave my roommate a slice because I just had to share it. She LOVED. And only 5 min away! Will def be back
Great vibe at this iconic location. Great beats and beer selection. Solid interior with a nice assortment of historic OG photos. Pizza? It’s like the slices u would find in NY. Soft crust, fold over and chow down. Tasty toppings, Damn Good! Also cheap, 50% off pies during happy hour. This place is expanding, keep your eye out. Great location for bro meetups and cheap dates. 2 beers, slices -> $20. Service was great and real - Will be back
I’ve picked up Delicious a handful of times and dined in a few times. Recently had a party with 10 or so people and the staff went above and beyond, super attentive and helpful. And of course, excellent pizza.
Love all their options. When it was delivered to us, it was hard to take photos after smelling that steaming pizza coming out of that delivery bag. 🍕🌫️ I will continue ordering pizza from delicious pizza. They never disappoint.
Got delivery through Delicious' new app. Super easy and intuitive. We've been getting delivery for a few years from Delicious and always love the quality of the food. The pizza crust is fantastic!
the food was great! 4.5 stars for everything! We got wings, a salad, and pizza. only giving it 4.5 because i’d love to see some more creative/fun pizzas on the menu!
Yo! Why have I not been coming to Delicious sooner?! Unsuspecting pizzeria is actually the scene of West Adams! Great food and huge menu, music, dancing, drinks! But it’s great for families and dates, locals and trendy diners. And a smashing good happy hour!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Came to Delicious Pizza in West Adams on 9/11/25 with three friends and had a great time. We ordered the Wild Thing and the Soul Flower pizzas — both were solid, but the Wild Thing was the group favorite. The crust was spot on (crispy edges with a nice chew), and everything tasted fresh. Service was excellent — ask for Orlando, he really took care of us and checked in a few times to make sure we were good. The vibe is chill and fun, with hip-hop memorabilia and a cool energy, plus the Rock Well Lounge right next door makes it easy to grab a drink and turn it into a full night out. Overall, great pizza, great atmosphere, and perfect for hanging with friends. Loved it!
Delicious Pizza is a great name because it is Delicious Pizza! Very friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Big TV in the bar for sports. They sell pizza by the slice and whole pies. They have vegan cheese too! They have some nice combo deals, which is what we tried. I had a slice, salad, and drink combo. The salad was really fresh and well put together. Super tasty. Pizza was delicious, hot & fresh!

I love this place so much. They have a great selection of pizza pies along with other things. Like chicken sandwiches and wings. They also have a nice little selection of craft beer in cans. The staff is as efficient and helpful as can be. They were on top of everything. They also have an outdoor patio for you to chill and enjoy your food. And their happy hour can not be beat as far as the pizza goes. This place is an ABSOLUTE GEM in the West Adams/Mid City area.
I've wanted to come here for sometime since the days the Hollywood location was still in business. I'm also tired of Little Caesars since that's all I can afford lately. But once in a while I crave real pizza. I loved everything about my experience. The 12' pepperoni pizza was the best pizza I've had in forever, business seemed slow but comfortable enough for me to enjoy my time. I also love the atmosphere as there is rap music and hip hop based memorabilia all over the place and they play a lot of classic rap and hip hop music. This part of Jefferson Park is very lively as there are similar businesses on the street and is adjacent to Culver City and close to West L.A. As I told my server, I will attempt to visit as much as I can in the future. 🍕
Simple, high-quality flavors that leave a lasting impression. The true standout is bartender John — an artist in both service and craft. He recommended pizza flavors tailored to my palate and paired them with a bold Mezcal Bloody Mary to start and an Espresso Martini that took me back to a 4-star mixology bar in Japan — balanced and smooth with depth and layers of flavor. John’s attentiveness stood out from the start, showcased by thoughtful recommendations and inspiring personal stories that turned a casual night into something memorable. Great value, especially during happy hour, with smooth hip-hop beats setting the perfect vibe. Highly recommended.
Wow!! Walking into Delicious Pizza, I felt a vibe. They had me at the music and the Hip Hop Ledgend wall. The hold events at this location, they have a huge patio area and a hidden event space in the back. Who knew?!?! We were greeted by Monica and Miguel and with energy and smiles. They both offered history about the restaurant and encouraged us to experience happy hour and brunch, of which we will try very soon. No on to the good stuff. The pizza, yeeees!! The Barry White is what we chose. Cheese and more cheese with one half full of pepperoni with crispy edges and full of sauce (my personal fav). Thin sliced pizza with plenty of flavor for your pallet. Delicious is the perfect description! We also enjoyed bread pudding and cinnamon rolls. Oh, and the hot chocolate is full of rich chocolate flavor that made me want to curl up with a blanket. I'm telling you, if you haven't tried, just do it now. We are going back to hold an event in one of their spaces soon. We can't wait! Photos courtesy of Hype Off Life Magazine, female owned and operated! What are the odds that a hip hop magazine would bump on a hip hop dedicated pizza joint? Love it
Food: came for pizza by the slice and got a margarita pizza. Tasted fresh and amazing! I also ordered a meatball sandwich that came with a small arugula salad. The meatball sandwich was packed to the brim with homemade meatballs and the sauce was zesty. I also got a small doccini dessert and that was the perfect end to my meal. Service: The staff was friendly courteous and attentive. They were more than happy to provide recommendations since it was my first time. Final thought: This place is amazing for pizza and sandwiches. You're able to order pizza by the slice or get a whole pie. The building itself is really charming and has a cool soda shop 1950s vibe. Definitely coming back!
What can I say? The pizza IS delicious and I kept saying how good it was as I was eating it. We just moved here from NYC (pizza from Grimaldi's, Roberta's, Juliana's, Patsy's, Table 87, and more) and I'm not complaining about this LA pizza joint! We ordered takeout on our move-in night. Hit the spot. Pesto and ricotta with sausage and then the Rosa with soppresetta. Worth my 15 minute drive to pick it up. I'll be ordering again and I keep asking myself how often is too often?! Really nice staff inside too. Thanks all! Hope to dine-in next.
First off, I can honestly say that I have never been a fan of thin crust pizza, until now. Let me back track though for just one second. Our friend Karla recommended this place. I like the vibe right off the back walking in. The patio area is very relaxed. There is a screen on the wall for projected media and it has a great backyard beach feel. When I looked over the menu there were sooooo many choices that I had a tough time deciding. I tried three pizzas that night. The Slaughterhouse, Eggplant and Shot Callin Big Ballin’. All three very extremely flavorful. The crust, the crust though. It had just a bit of a char. That chat with the chili oil and rep pepper flakes combine for amazing pies. I definitely recommend this place if you’re a pizza lover.
Very cool spot owned by delicious vinyl records from back in the day. They play all old school hip hop which is phenomenal. Great album covers and photos on the walls. And the pizza and service and exceptional. I had the margherita pizza and a glass of wine and it was delicious. Loved it and will definitely go back
Nice patio. The pizza was pretty decent but not outstanding (this time). Good crust, good sauce. Good ratio of cheese. I always love the Hawaiian here but the mushroom was surprisingly only when i visited last. Sort of wet and less umami than usual. Overall, Delicious is one of the best pizza joints around West Adams. But that still leaves room to improve.
This little pizza joint has a bar with a good selection of wine and beers, which is an anomaly in this neighborhood. They forgot my ranch and the pizza took about 30 minutes for take out. But the pizza was good overall. They also have a nice variety of slices.
Cool atmosphere. Pictures of rap groups, and djs on the walls. Inside and outside patio seating.
Just as the restaurant name suggests, the pizza is indeed very delicious! We also had some pasta which was equally as good. It has a great atmosphere and very friendly employees. The only small issue I had was that the server was very busy and forgot to give me my dessert to go, so after 5 or so minutes of waiting, I had to walk up to the register to remind them.
Went for a soul therapy event. Parking wasn't too bad but none I could see that was specifically for Delicious Pizza. The lot adjacent has no parking signs so I decided to park on another street. Bar Service was slow and one of the bartenders seemed new. Pizza was great, but again service was slow. They were handing out numbers but they didn't match the number with the food order so there was confusion. Staff is friendly and bathrooms are clean. I would try again when they aren't hosting an event. It is def a cool spot.
Good local pizza spot. They naturally always have the best music playing and pizza by the slice with a variety of toppings. I personally love their bread pudding and think it's better than the pizza. I haven't tried their pasta or salads but next time I make a excuse to have a night out I will try them. Kid friendly!
The pizza is ok, but being from Chicago, it doesn't hold up. It's thin crust, which is fine and what I prefer. You can get pizza by the slice or whole pie. The wings come hot and fresh, fried with sauce--mild, hot, or BBQ. The seasoning wasn't quite there, but they were good with sauce and ranch. The service was good and Attentive. Our server did as best she could for handling a big group and another room with patrons. Free parking is in the back, but only a few spaces. Street parking is available, but can be pretty full as well.
I like the upgrades, it's been a while since I've been inside. 1 negative I ordered a fountain Coke, and it was $4.50. That seems pretty expensive. Maybe they are still paying for the upgrades.
I got the lamb meatball aka shot callin' big ballin' pizza. It was very good and not gamey. The meat and pizza was cooked well and it was good. The ceasar salad was also decent. The outdoors along with the cocktail bar is a nice touch. The service was slightly slow as far as the food delivery goes. But the waiter was very apologetic and helpful and nice. Overall good spot to have a beer and pizza. Parking is generally atrocious in this area though.
Crust was delicious but toppings were eh. The arugula salad was terrible, we expected tender peppery leaves, we got tasteless leaves that included a lot tuff spiny stems. While waiting for our order we enjoyed the old school beats and the great photos of legends that graced the walls. Maybe I'd go back for a beer , a slice and the atmosphere one day.
Our pesto pizza was pretty good, but one of the slices was strangely smashed. Both pizzas we ordered arrived cold and we ordered from the chow now site. The garlic knots were hard, but warmer than the pizza. The meat pizza we got looked like the meat was added on after the pizza was put in the oven and slid off the slices. The wings were also not very tasty.
Could have been decent slices, but they were extremely grease soaked. I don't mind a greasy slice but when it's soggy and all you can taste is oil it's a no go. Place seems to be a work in progress, outside is a construction site. Inside gives college town pizza joint vibes. Nice employees
The pizza is decent but their menu states “All sauces and pasta are handmade in-house everyday” I knew from the moment I saw the dish that the pasta was from a box. I called and the (very nice) chick on the phone told me the “recipe changed 6 months ago” Don’t get the mis-advertised pasta if you’re expecting more than boxed noodles. Try Pasta Sisters for actual handmade pasta that’s a lot cheaper and 10x tastier.
Banging music, great pizza Edit: new pizza recipe is really disappointing. Completely redesigned pie has good intentions but theres nothing it does better than the old recipe. Unfortunately the new "Pittsburg" style pie really just ends up being a firmer, dough focused pizza with an overwhelming crust that tastes just a step up from chain style pizza. If thats your preference you might like this, but I personally loved coming to Delicious and bringing friends in to try the beautiful large NY neapolitan slices... used to be best in the city and reminded me and my friends of home. The sausage is still fantastic.
$60 for two greasy, salty pizzas, and a beer. Parking sucks. Genuinely disappointed.
One of the pioneers of the gentrification of West Adams/Mid-City. Featuring a theme of Delicious Vinyl hip-hop nostalgia somewhat sets it apart from many of the more clueless and culturally tone-deaf businesses that followed its lead into the historic neighborhood but one step in the door and you'll instantly recognize it as a hub for community colonization... You will rub elbows with middle aged hipsters of all stripes. You will overpay for mediocre pizza. Sit on the patio and you will witness hipster offspring running amok with shockingly little supervision or discipline... The meatball sandwich is one of the better menu items.
Pizza is good! Unfortunately, the online order ahead system doesn’t make it to the restaurant, so they didn’t have our order ready or even in their queue when expected. Maybe remove this as an option if it’s too difficult to manage?
Guess what? They raised the prices again. It hasn't been that long since I was here. Small pizza, small pasta was $39, now I come a couple weeks after $47. Small pasta and pixa. Greedy much?
It's easily the worst food I've ever had, I honestly didn't think it could have gotten any worse until I went to this place. Whenever I'm unsure about a restaurant , I usually settle for wings/ chicken and fries if it's on the menu, cause in my opinion you really can't mess this up, and if you do mess this up, everything else is trash. The wings were stale and tasteless. Apparently, they microwave the wings, throw some "mild" sauce over it, put it in a dish with fries, and feel proud about themselves. Their service is just as nasty as the food. It almost feels as if you're begging them a favor. The young woman actually brought me the food without any cutleries, wish I could give half a star.
False advertising... They charged me $35 for an advertised $18 pizza, huge difference. The pizza was dry like it was cooked hours earlier, the crust was 3in at the end with skimped ingredients & then fresh uncooked arugula added on top, I felt like I was robbed!
They seem like greedy people, they still get orders even if they have a thousand, while the rest of the people wait at least an hour.
The good- hip hop nostalgia. The bad- the food and service. They served me two slices of pizza that had clearly been left out all day. My stomach tore from part of the first slice so I decided against eating the second plus it just didn’t taste fresh- like it had been left out all day. The very next day I called to give feedback and give them a chance to make it right and the person on the phone was not interested at all and stated “you should have called yesterday”. Ok fine but I’m talking to you now in a respectful manner in order to give your business a chance. They insisted on being combative. I don’t doubt this place was a hit back in the day but it appears the needle has hopped off the vinyl and the dj left a long time ago.
Honestly terrible pizza. The Hawaiian was awful, the meat was extremely poor quality, possibly undercooked.
