Divino Los Angeles Reviews
I have been eating at soom soom for some time. It is usually through delivery but i have dined at this soom soom a few times. My family and I really enjoy their food. I often order chicken schnitzel, either as a plate or pita sandwich. We also order their beef and chicken shawarmas often. The chicken kabob is also very good. We very much like their thick pita bread, super creamy hummus, and tabouli. We think that you should always order a side of garlic paste per person.
I had the rib eye steak combo with fries and all was delicious! My friend had the chicken schwarma plate and it was excellent!!
This food I’d say is so fresh and delicious. I love coming here when I’m in the area. Worth it.
Such an amazing find. My wife and I are traveling from France and we decided to stop in. Between the kindness, the commitment to service, and the cost, this restaurant is a must visit for anyone in search of a delicious meal. The beef is beyond amazing, the hummus is extremely smooth, every salad is perfectly assembled, and the pita bread, masterfully made. I cannot begin to express how detailed this crew is in the way they maintain their service. They are well focused and customer oriented. I plan to return when I visit LA again. Thank you for your dedication to an inspirational and healthy meal!
Food always fresh and on point. Service friendly. Good prices. One drawback is it is often really noisy inside. Some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had.
I tried their special wrap and it was pretty good: flavorful and balanced, meat was just delicious. Service was attentive, it was nice and clean inside the cafe.
Wife and I had shawarma, ground meat kebabs and the chicken schnitzel. Delicious flavors and the prices were pretty good, too. Rivals the other Israeli places around Pico-Robertson. Good service too - friendly for a fast food place.
Really delicious and fresh! Almost like a subway from Mediterranean food. Quick and deficient! The guys working there were very friendly and helpful. Since we didn't quite know what to order, they made recommendations and everything they suggested was absolutely delicious. The food came out piping hot and I noticed that on the food that needs to be hotter, they actually cook it to order. So stuff like the french fries or the kabobs only get cooked once you order. Nothing sits around getting cold and you don't end up with a bunch of soggy french fries I highly recommend this place!
The food was awesome! I can't wait to go back again...

Close to my work place and honestly the best damn food I've had in a while. Good flavor good portions. A bit pricey but super worth
One of my favorite places to eat in LA! Their name is accurate in that everything is super fresh and always delicious! I usually get the falafel plate and a combo of different salads. ALWAYS get their garlic sauce, it's AMAZING! Whether u do pick up or delivery, Soom Soom never disappoints!

I highly recommend this cafe. It was very tasty, the portions were huge, we couldn’t eat everything. The plate had rice, meat and 4 types of salad and cost only $17. Delicious orange juice. The food was hot and fresh. Waiting time up to 10 minutes.
Food is good, could be a little better, I woul visit again
Convenient location. 7min walk from work. falafel was good. Cooked with the perfect texture. Not to hard. Everything was fresh. There isnt much flavor TBH but thats okay with me because I enjoy the fresh original taste of all the veggies. It was approximately $18 including a breaded dessert. Which is fine because its enough for 2 meals for me.

More salad, less meat. This such called Mediterranean restaurant is located off the west 3rd street. I can see people parked their cars in front of the restaurant and grab their food then rushed away. There is no free parking lot for this restaurant, so you do need to pay. I was searching for a Mediterranean restaurant so I can have some good kabobs or shawamas. First, I ordered ground beef. The beef was not fine grounded and it had very little flavor. The second time, I ordered the chicken and beef shawama. The both meats were dry and old, over cooked, or had been there for a long time and salty. I looked into the plate: there were 70 % of four different kinds of salads, then 15 % of rice and 15 % of meats. I really like the salads, but I am here to buy an entry plate and I want to see more meat and protein in my plate. I feel like that I was in a salad bar and forced to eat weight controlling diet. I can see this restaurant is not emphasized on providing good protein and Mediterranean meats, but a light, salad based meal. The entry plate will cost you about 20 dollars.
Food was okay nothing crazy. Felt like the chicken didn’t have much flavor and the $48 two plates seemed high for what they served us. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly but I would t return.
I visited Soom Soom on West 3rd Street in Los Angeles and ordered a falafel pita. Unfortunately, the way the ingredients were layered inside the pita made it difficult to fully enjoy the meal. The tomatoes, cucumbers, other toppings, and tahini were all placed at the bottom, with the falafel balls on top. This arrangement required eating through the bread and falafel before reaching the other flavors, which disrupted the overall experience. The ingredient placement in the falafel sandwich just didn't make sense and detracted from what could have been a delightful meal.

Everything was fresh just lacked flavor, parking was hard to find, staff was friendly, prices were on the higher end. Will probably not come back here, hummus was bland and chalky. So sad!

First time here, food not tasty, not worth the calories or money, extremely disappointed. I ordered the falafel and mushroom plate, 1st and last time here sadly. Employees were friendly and welcoming though.
Embarrassing that a Mediterranean/ middle eastern spot serves such a low amount of shawarma in my plate. We ordered yesterday via uber eats under the initials of J.R. I don’t think anybody cares about this, but the amount of meat I got was not even enough for 1/4th of a pita. This is an embarrassment. I basically paid for rice and salads with a bite or two of shawarma. I’ll always go back to Dr Sandwich and never step foot in this place!

This place used to be a favorite. The quality went way down. The food is flavorless now. The ground beef has pieces of bone in it. Nothing tastes good here any more. So sad cause it was amazing before. Now I’d never be able to go back…
