What I love most about EP + LP is the level of customer service that this establishment maintains. The staff are always very attentive and friendly. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. You can see all of LA in any direction from the rooftop, which is decorated with lights and lots of pretty plants. As far as food & drinks go, I usually opt for some type of margarita (always super refreshing.) The tacos are my go-to entree--try the mushroom/vegan option!

Came here on a weekday for a networking event and was pleasantly surprised by the nice view, fun drinks and good service of the rooftop bar. We used some tables and high tops and it was perfect for 20 or so of us. The drinks were good and so was the food, I tried the chips and guac and it was very fresh and reasonably priced. Would come back again!

Went for happy hour (4-6pm). Staff was friendly and attentive. Sitting on a rooftop as the sun sets in Los Angeles is something everyone should experience. Ordered guacamole and chips and cheese burger (comes with fries or side salad) off the happy hour menu along with non-alcoholic cucumbery drink that was refreshing. The food tasted good and fresh but pretty basic. Guacamole was just mashed avocado without anything else. Cheese burger looked lacking with just bun, meat and cheese but the sauce they put on saved the day. Great place to bring friends, out of town guests or on any beautiful LA day by yourself.

Oh my gosh this place was so much fun! I was invited to a RuPaul party where we roller skated most of the night. They had great food served. The drinks were tasty the bartenders were very attentive and the wait staff was also very attentive. I would love to go back here and bring a few friends that like to roller skate! I'm not sure about parking but I did street park for 2 hours at a time.

This was my first time at the rooftop (LP) and I enjoyed it very much. Absolutely fantastic drinks! I wish I could remember the names but I at least attached pictures of them - each one a tasty delight. Their menu wasn't large but there were options for everyone whether you're a meat eater, vegetarian or vegan. I had the mushroom tacos and they were delicious. The tacos pictured are my friends asada tacos. Another is my friends burger, regular meat but you can swap the patty for an impossible patty. Very cute aesthetic!! I will want to visit when it is night time because they have string lights and a great view of the surrounding city.

One of the good options around this area. The coffee, food, the service and customer experience is awesome. The store design is comfortable as well as the location is great, easy to be found. In overall, good food and good service. Keep up the great work!

This place has good service, employees are honest and kind. My drink got to me quick despite the fact that it is Friday in LA. The atmosphere is unique, a dark wood and ominous lighting style interior but music hits like pitbull playing in the radio considerably loud.

We tried the lobster roll with fries and had a beer. The food was definitely tasty, but the portion was on the small side, especially for the price. Great flavors and nice vibe overall, but a bit pricey for what you get.

Stopped by on a weekday and really enjoyed it! The rooftop was super chill, music was solid, and the food and appetizers were actually really good — not just your typical bar bites. Only heads-up: bring your physical ID. They don’t take photo or digital versions. One of our friends had to walk all the way back to the car to grab theirs. Besides that, it’s a great spot to hang. We’ll be back!

We are looking for a cute rooftop spot for a drink and light bite while we wait for our dinner reservation at 6:00. And found this is a cute spot online. Unfortunately they had screen covers covering all the walls, I imagine for the chiller weather in the evening, although it did harper the indoor outdoor appeal of being on a rooftop. Nonetheless we still enjoyed our time, I loved my Mezcal drink, I ordered "where love lives." I love the vibe, lots of plants and really nice view of the Hollywood hills. Great spot for a sunny outdoor vibe.

Nice rooftop bar with an awesome atmosphere. Music is great and the drinks (we got) were delicious! 2 bars upstairs so there’s no major wait. Staff here super friendly and accommodating, security let us in but informed us next time dress code applies no shorts after 9pm. As It Was, Mr Roboto, Blinding Lights were our favorite drinks of the night!

Visited this rooftop with standard LA decor and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly server who swiftly resolved a minor order mistake. Although the Saturday afternoon brunch menu was on the smaller side, everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We ordered the breakfast hash, burger and avocado toast - all good but nothing to rave about.

Extraordinary rooftop bar/restaurant! The scenery at night is pleasant and has an enjoyable vibe to it. It would be a great choice for a date. We had a group go on a Thursday evening and there was a line to get in. Wait was approximately 15-20 mins. The staff were friendly and the drinks came out in short time. The drinks were also extremely expensive but that's the trade off for the rooftop environment. Can’t say much about the food because we did not order any. Portion sizes looked smaller while the prices were a lot higher.

Smoothie and health food chain with a cool vibe. Came here post-facial with a friend and we both got smoothies. I was a bit disappointed with mine, as the smoothie wasn’t well-blended and for $13, I was expecting more. They do serve food. It took about 25 minutes for my friend’s vegan sandwich to come out after we got our smoothies. Single occupant restroom available in the back. Indoor seating only (no outdoor spots). Metered street parking. Overall, the vibe was cool but the actual drinks/food were not it.

The bread was not crunchy. The Santa Monica location does it better. however, they did prepare very fast. But it didn’t taste as fresh as the Santa Monica branch tastes.

The juice is okay though expensive.... And there's a million people working and somehow they still have bad service. About half the times I come in I get to the cashier and they don't even greet me. They just look at me with attitude today. There were three people at the crash register and they were all talking to each other. Well, I just approached and I had to interrupt and say hello. Are you ready to take my order?. The music is way too freaking loud and it's obnoxious. When I went to sit down there was a new employee doing her training with volume on with no headphones on and it was obnoxious. Expensive and low quality is not a great experience.

Ambience is nice but the drinks take really long to come out, especially if it's a hot drink. Smoothies and sandwiches seem to come out faster. I think we waited about 20 minutes for the hot drink on a Saturday afternoon. I think the operations behind the counter can improve drastically.

The views are amazing! The rooftop esthetic is beautiful! Now, if the service and drinks matched the following, this place would be unstoppable! The matcha tasted like frosting, and the sandwich bread was thin and hard like some kind of twisted crossbreed between a loaf of sourdough and a saltine cracker. No wonder it’s BOGO. You couldn’t give this sandwich away for free to me next time.

This is my first time leaving a negative review, and as a business owner myself, I understand how hard it is to run a business. However, this place truly needs to improve. Last year, my husband and I visited after work, not dressed up, and had a terrible experience. We were ignored by one of the girl, waited over 30 minutes for food, and even a simple request for napkins was dismissed. Meanwhile, another table that looked “fancier” received friendly, attentive service. Everyone can tell if you was there with me. I recently came back with friends, and while the food was served faster, the service still showed the same attitude. Customer service should treat everyone equally—appearance or wealth should never matter. Tips reflect the service provided, not how customers look.

Arrived the location exactly at 6:20 PM. Me and my three daughters. We asked the manager if we can use the bathroom to wash our hands before we order our food. She said bathroom are already closed. Strange so we just left. We’ve been good customers to that location, but I think no more They don’t want customer to use the bathroom so they Can close and leave early we want to close the street to Earth. Café was a good experience in a way. We glad they attend us that I joined the Juice so we can discover something else. Manager was not polite the way she spoke. It’s like she don’t care.

I love Joe & the Juice, but i tried this location last night Monday 2/23/26 and be very careful. Maps says this store close at 10 so me and my bf got there at 8, looked for parking for about 5 minutes and had to pay for the parking and they ended up being closed. There were no signs of it being closed but there were workers in there and they just shook their head no at us. I don’t know if they actually close at 8 and they just need to update it on maps but call first so you don’t make the same mistake and waste time !

I had a very disappointing experience with the customer service here. I placed my order online in advance. When I arrived, I showed the employee my name on the phone. Without even checking properly, she immediately said the order was not ready. Meanwhile, the bag with my order was literally right in front of her. I waited for about 10 minutes, thinking they were still preparing it. Eventually, I approached another employee, and it turned out my order had been ready the entire time. This was not a system issue — it was simply a lack of attention and professionalism. It takes just a second to actually look at the prepared orders before telling a customer to wait. Very disappointing service.

The Holly Jolly Christmas Bar at E.P & L.P is a complete disappointment. I do not recommend it at all; it is a waste of money and not worth it for the decoration, the food, or the overall experience. The decoration is very basic and completely different from what they advertise on social media. There are boxes stacked among the decorations, everything looks dusty and poorly maintained, and there is nothing special about it. If you are looking for a place to take photos, this is not it: the few available spaces have tables placed in the way, and the paper covering the tables features images of women in bikinis, beers, or other designs that have absolutely nothing to do with the Christmas theme. The food is very simple, nothing extraordinary. As for the drinks, the hot chocolate looks nothing like what is promoted. You are served a small plastic cup with marshmallows, which is extremely basic and far below expectations. The service was not terrible, but it was not good either. The staff is not particularly attentive or proactive; there is a clear lack of energy, enthusiasm, and engagement for a place that sells itself as a festive “experience.” If you are thinking about going, don’t do it. In our case, we paid $125.00 for a table for two, which was completely wasted. We left feeling disappointed and, despite having a 90-minute reservation, we stayed only 50 minutes because it simply was not worth staying any longer.

I visited during the Christmas holiday season and purchased a ticket that included entry and a drink. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The service was very slow, and the menu was extremely limited—only three or four drinks and about three food items were available. When we asked the server, we were told that was the full menu, yet the table next to us was served different food. The server did not return to check on us, and we had to look for her just to get our check. Overall, the experience was not worth the price. The drinks were underwhelming, and the cost did not match the quality or service. I will not be returning during the Christmas holiday season.
