WeHo Bistro West Hollywood Reviews
Came for lunch and sat outside. It was very nice and relaxing. Not crowded at all. The service was great and we had no complaints! Definitely recommend and I wanna come back for dinner.
I cannot say enough good things about Weho Bistro. We had a party there & WOW was it everything we could have hoped for. Jeff is prompt & responsive & just really helps to create this welcoming comfortable atmosphere. The food is ALWAYS delicious. So many options on their standard menu! & our pre fix menu was divine. Also, the drink menu is next level- surveying the cocktails, you can tell how thoughtful the mixologist was in crafting each & every drink. Georgia was the lead server for our dinner & shes fabulous at what she does... so efficient & accomodating & kind. Literally all the staff was awesome. Just truly an absolutely rare gem of a restaurant.
Lovely place, outdoor seating available! Very kind, sweet, hospitable people at the service. Food is decent looking and delicious, fresh. We had crepe and shrimp pasta and both were tasty. Pasta had a little bit much oil. Prices are reasonable for this area. The best thing is free customer parking!
Excellent food and service. You get a lot of high quality food and large yummy portions. Vibes are good and they’re pet friendly. Good drinks too.
I would choose to spend my money here over any other restaurant because of how amazing the staff is. The fact that the food is also completely delicious is a bonus. My waiter sounded like a French guy and he had the loveliest personality. And when I could not find him anytime, I made icon with a different staff member, they always smiled and said can I help which is such a home run for me the bartender with the blonde curly hair was lovely the waitress with the blonde straight hair was so nice. The taller gentleman with the beard. Incredible. I couldn’t recommend WeHo bistro more for the fact that they make you feel important when you’re dining in they’re fine establishment. The epitome of the perfect corner bistro in your neighborhood.
I was visiting from Houston for my Birthday and I asked my friend and Los Angeles native, Jay, to suggest the gayest restaurant in West Hollywood. Jay delivered! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was exactly what I wanted. I had the hot potato leak soup to start because it was cold and rainy. I also, shared the macaroni and cheese with Jay. The chicken dijonaise was my main entree, and we shared the chocolate cake for dessert. The handsome and fit gentleman that sat next to me at the bar as I was waiting for Jay to arrive ordered a very delicious looking penne pasta. I think he was probably someone associated with the entertainment industry!
This place is an absolute treat! Food is excellent, staff is super kind and attentive, and perfect location. Our waitress Georgia made an incredible cappuccino with the silkiest foam I’ve ever had. The turkey meatloaf was delish, and the chicken piccata was wonderful. Cheers! Looking forward to the next time.
This place was absolutely perfect and the exact brunch experience anybody wants. Let’s start with the decor. This is SUCH a CUTE PLACE. There are lovely flowers everywhere there is the perfect amount of shade to make any outside dining experience a dreamland. Our waiter was so attentive and delightful! He gaves us great recommendations and was so nice. I got the Jalisco sandwich and it was DELICIOUS! The salmon was perfectly smoked, the sauce was rich with flavor but not over baring and the right amount of tangy. The potatoes were perfectly friend for a love crisp crunch and all of the fruit was FRESH! I also got a half order of waffles and they were the perfect side! The maple syrup was realllll and the waffles were fluffy and also accompanied by another little dish of fresh fruit. It was a PERFECT breakfast! I will be coming back next I visit!
Stopped at WeHo Bistro with my friend in the middle of our shopping day, and it was the perfect choice! We were seated outside to enjoy the beautiful weather, greeted by a friendly host, and taken care of by a kind, attentive server. The outdoor seating is such a great vibe for a brunch or lunch date. I had their burger with a glass of rosé — and it was every bit as amazing as it looked! I’ll definitely be visiting again.
So glad this was a second option! The first choice had a line down the sidewalk. This is a great spot for brunch. The chef specialties are mouthwatering. Fresh squeezed large glass of orange juice was exactly what my body needed. The bunch options were plentiful and so delicious. Make this establishment your number 1 choice.
Been here a couple of times! Very accurate with reservations, accommodating our group of 7. Excellent service and food is a hit each time. I highly recommend the hummus trio app and the avocado burrata toast was amaaaazing! They also have great salads and sandwiches, and make a great Aperol spritz. As usual, I can’t wait to come back!
Beautiful restaurant. The food is delicious and the service was impeccable. Blown away by the happy hour quiche bites (didn’t realize that is what quiche should taste like). Also tried the shrimp salad, the mac and cheese and the crepe suzette. All absolutely marvellous. AND I was with my friend from France who was very impressed. Highly recommend!
We went there for Valentines dinner, they had their Prefix valentines day menu. The food is quite good, well prepared and decorated. 11/10 for food. Personally I didn’t like the Pina Nojito but Moxie Spritz was good. Mushroom soup was too good. They have their own free customer parking, close to the restaurant.
We went for dinner. We found it a little too cold inside, due to A/C adjusted too low. We had a table outside instead, where infrared heaters were on, and temperature was perfect. A little noisy from the traffic, but the excellent service and food made it a good experience.
WeHo Bistro is a dependable spot with more hits than misses, and I’ll gladly give it four stars. The food is genuinely good, and some dishes stand out in a way that makes you forgive the rough edges. The Magic Mushroom Penne is creamy and comforting without being heavy, and the Escargots à la Bourguignonne show they know what they are doing with classic French touches. The Garlic Truffle Fries make a strong side dish, and the Cucumber Tzatziki Tartine is a refreshing open face option when you want something lighter. The bistro also leans into bold choices like Shrimp Al Ajillo and Bacon Truffle Mac and Cheese, which help diversify the menu beyond the usual. Service generally delivers. Staff are pleasant, helpful enough to answer questions, and not overly fussy. But it rarely feels exceptional. You can count on solid food and a smooth transaction, but not the kind of service that surprises you or elevates the whole evening. The atmosphere is more functional than magical. The way the restaurant is laid out with different seating areas, inside, outside, and patio nooks makes it feel a bit disjointed. None of the seating zones feels cozy or romantic, and it is missing a sense of signature ambiance or a distinctive identity that would make the space memorable. At times it feels like multiple rooms shuffled together rather than one cohesive vibe. Still, WeHo Bistro is a solid go to when you want good food, a good wine list, and a pleasant evening without fireworks. It does not quite hit the mark as a destination, but it is reliable enough that I would return without hesitation.
The service was excellent and the ambiance was warm and inviting—definitely a highlight. The overall value was fair, but the food quality didn’t quite meet expectations. The steak frites sandwich lacked tenderness, and the turkey meatloaf was underwhelming. Giving four stars purely for the exceptional service and atmosphere.
The food is quite tasty. The sweet options are a bit too sweet for my personal preference but I think for most people it's ideal. Portions are pretty generous and not too expensive either. The outdoor seating is in a beautiful little area out back where there's tons of greenery and it just feels very comfy. Great spot for brunch and dinner.
Great service, great food and diverse drink menu. A bargain (5/5 stars) if you can make it during their happy hour 4-6 pm as most drinks are between $8-11 as well as the food items. Another perk is on Halloway there is a dedicated parking lot next to the restaurant for free ! The only reason I took a star away is their food is not unique/innovative (mostly American food - Mac n cheese, fries, sliders etc). Having said that, still great quality to enjoy at a decent price in an overpriced area. Additionally, they are dog friendly and their patio has ample seating.
Great atmosphere, but service needs work. I love the cozy vibe at WeHo Bistro, perfect spot for brunch in WeHo. I had the Classic Breakfast. The eggs and potatoes were solid, but the bacon was soggy from sitting under the eggs (I love crispy bacon). I had to ask another waiter for a coffee refill and ketchup since our waitress disappeared after taking our order and showed up only to drop the check. I’d still come back for the atmosphere and the food.
Not only the worst food I've had in a long time but the owner was so rude and defensive clearly we aren't the first to complain. The onion soup was lukewarm and extremely salty to the point it was inedible. The bread that came on the sandwich was rock hard so who knows if it's even from today. And what they call a steak sandwich was I don't know know what but chopped mushy meat on dry bread with salty cold fires . The owner was so nasty about it even though our family has been coming for years it's a shame he's lost repeat business and deserves this nasty review for the poor quality of the food and attitude.
