Feast from the East Los Angeles Reviews
My sister kept insisting I try this place — she said she had one of the best chicken salads of her life for a great lunch price. So I finally went… and she was right! The chicken salad was amazing — fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. We also ordered the sesame chicken (my favorite — so delicious!) and fried rice. We got everything in small portions and still had leftovers. The total was only $40 — totally worth it for the amount and quality of food. It’s definitely more of a takeout spot than a dine-in. They do have some tables, but the vibe feels more casual and quick. Either way, I’ll for sure be ordering again!
Delicious orange chicken salad. Efficient, helpful customer service. Good value.
Wow! I got a to go order tonight after work (just started a new job in the area) and was blown away at the quality and taste of the chicken and spring rolls. Can’t wait to return. Sesame Chicken Wings - 10/10. Flavorful and fresh. Has that somewhat sticky crunch that makes you want more. Spring rolls - 10/10. A perfect bite and compliment to the chicken.
This was always "the'' place to go for Chinese chicken salad when it was a "hole-in-the-wall"-- the salad is as good: layered flavors of crispy romaine, slivered almonds, the sesame dressing and wonton strips. Surprise is that the chicken (wings and thighs) are superb. Owner is on premise almost all the time so the service is maintained. I had a problem with a missing item, and it was taken care of immediately! Ignore the "Persian Square" chaos plus a Mexican hole- in- the- wall overflowing with people surrounding the modern "Feast" double store front restaurant.
Unassuming, tastey, and friendly people/atmosphere. Great place for lunch or takeout for a light dinner and perfect for catering a casual event. Thank you for tje tastey food and awesome service. ❤️
This place has been around as long as I can remember and has one of the best Chinese Chicken salads around.
Best chicken salad from what I heard. For me tofu salad no croutons with extra dressing.

the most delicious best Chinese chicken salad I've ever had. also if you want to lose weight this is the way to go! delicious low-calorie plenty of salad and chicken
I have not eaten here in years, not in the area as much as I used to. With that said, it is nice to know that some things are a constant in the world, one of them being their Chinese Chicken Salad. Forgot just how satisfying a salad could be. Thank you for not changing!!!!!
Best Chinese chicken salad around. We pick up an order whenever we're in the area.
I used to go to this place religiously when I was in college. It's good to know that they still have THE best Chinese chicken salad!
A great stop for some great Chinese food. I had the Teriyaki Chicken on white rice. Very tasty. Too bad Fried Rice is not an option in place of white or brown rice with your entreé. Fried Rice is a side dish. You order, sit down and your menu selections are brought to your table. Bathrooms are available. Parking is provided in a small courtyard next to the restaurant. The Chinese Chicken Salad is a popular selection! It was very tasty, especially with the sauce.
Their Sesame Wings are SO good. Fried perfectly. Very crispy. The skin has soooo much flavor. And when you bite into it, the meat is steaming and yet so moist! It's a MUST try here. They are also known for their dressing. I think their salad is okay... but their dressing is so good. You can get it at Costco though!
I've been going to this place for almost 30 years. Very nice people and the best Chinese chicken salad anywhere. I just picked up from them today and I was not disappointed. Great take out service for these difficult times. Thank you Feast from the East; I am happy to support your local independent business.
The food here is very good. In fact it sets the standard for Chinese Chicken Salad - as that's their specialty! Generous portion (for the large salad). They also have other Asian food like drummettes or wings (fried) either with a sesame glaze or wings in a sweet Sriracha sauce, as well as other Chinese-American type dishes. The salad dressing is so popular they bottle it and sell it at retail stores like supermarkets and Costco. Highly recommend!
Food is phenomenal. We placed a huge order to go for New Year's Eve. We've ordered from here several times before and the food is always great. Prices are reasonable. Although they have an eat-in area, I don't know if it's open as no-one was eating there and there is no atmosphere. It seems like it's a family that works there but I didn't ask. I believe this is their only location so as a mom and pop store, I'd rather give them my business than a chain restaurant. Anyway, highly recommend them.

I used to live in L.A. and I'd go here for my Chinese chicken salad fix! I moved away but always come back whenever I'm in town! The Best!

The place doesn't seem very appealing feom the outside, but don't fall for the bad look. The food was delicious! Not too many vegetarian options, but the two we ordered were very satisfying. If you pay cash, they don't have change; and our table had a weird scent around it, so we ate and left. Not a place to hang out, but definitely order to go.

Food is great. Been going there for 25 years. The only negative thing I can say is that the people at the counter have zero interest on giving a good customer service. But food is great.

I ordered a shrimp wonton soup to go . The amount is a decent size but to my surprise I had only 2 shrimp wontons ! This is beyond ridiculous . Lots of vegetables , bland taste and a lot of small wonton wrap dough . I do not want to pay $11 for 2 shrimp wontons .

Today, I ordered and received a chinese chicken salad. It started out delicious, until I realized I had hair in my mouth. It took a minute to get the hair out. Though concerned I continued to eat and found more hair in my salad. Now thoroughly disgusted, I couldn't finish the salad. Maybe hairnets should be worn while preparing food. My first and last experience at this restaurant. Too bad the salad was good.
