Hamburger taste like pre-made burgers but the toppings are delicious. The shrimp pilaf is awesome. The chowder was really good. Just added a little salt and pepper. Pretty happy overall

I Had lunch at the Cafe at Getty Center today and ordered the chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Overall, it was pretty good. The sandwich came with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and crispy straw onions on a brioche-style bun. The chicken itself had good flavor, though I wish it had been pounded a little flatter because it was quite thick. Still, it was tasty and satisfying. The sweet potato fries were a nice side — hot, crisp, and just the right portion. My only downside was the price. The sandwich was $18, and the fries were a little over $3, so with tax the total came out to around $23. A bit steep for a casual lunch, but you are at the Getty, and the convenience of having food right there makes it worthwhile. ✅ I’d recommend grabbing a bite here if you’re visiting the museum. Not the cheapest option, but definitely convenient and enjoyable.

we tried the tofu pho and roasted veggie salad. the salad wasn’t anything spectacular, but it was average. the tofu pho is like instant pho but with fresh basil and mint. a very peaceful cafeteria but the food could be better.

As of late June 2025 seem to have shifted to picnic style wooden utensils, plastic plates and cardboard cups. No self-respecting quality cafe would do that. It writes down the quality of the place. Bad idea.

You know it’s perfect when it falls apart when you look at it”. Summary: order the Rice Krispie treat, you’ll regret it.
