Healthy, tasty, and great portion! We got the classic poke bowl and mango chicken bowl. I was craving for something fresh and healthy, and this was perfect.

I hadn’t been to a Lemonade since I was in grad school about ten years ago, and I was just as happy with the food and drink this time as I was back in ~2013. I had the salmon, Mexican corn, avocado salad, and a cucumber mint lemonade. It was all delicious, thank you! It did take a bit for someone to help me, but everyone was very friendly and helpful (maybe people that have never been there need a bit more time to decide what to get?)

Just flew in and had a 2 hour wait til my next flight. Was walking the counter looking at the food thinking all of this looks amazing. I ended up with a hatch chicken plate that was just awesome! Spicy hot hatch chicken served up on a bed of steamed rice with honey roasted Brussel sprouts and a kale salad. Washed it down with a classic lemonade and sat there knowing I just ate the best food I’ve ever eaten at an airport! Awesome food, friendly service. It’s not fair to judge on the price because you’re at the airport for Gods sake! I think for the amount of food given it was totally fair.

They are open late! It was still open until 11:30pm on a Friday night. I love the choices of food and the ambience at the airport bc the seats are comfortable. It’s also a pretty sight w bright lively colors. Your eyes naturally go to this store. The avocado tomato salad is healthy and tasty. Poke meals and salmon meals are healthy and good. Nice choices of food. The Mac and cheese was good with lots of great cheese. The Brussels sprouts had sugar in it so it was strange but I liked to try a vegetable for the sake of being healthy. The staff were courteous and polite. Overall a really nice place for those waiting for flights,

I know I have seen a lot of complaints. One, everywhere in LAX is expensive. The staff was very nice and helpful. Nice getting a hot meal at 4am before my flight boards at 5:15 am. Been traveling since 11 am yesterday, so having a generous hot breakfast was a real treat. Not a great photo, but was a bacon egg and cheese on brioche with a side of potatoes. Definitely will hold me until 5:30 pm this evening. Good amount of protein on the sandwich. Table area was not open this early, but that was ok.

March 2024 I ordered a warm turkey sandwich and a side of macaroni cheese and creamed-chicken sort of dish. While airport food is so often disappointing, surprisingly I thought the food here tasted fresh and delicious. The sandwich was densely filled and both side dishes were rich and satisfying. However, it was very expensive, which is typical for an airport. My bill came to 35 dollars.

This is by far the best Restaurant on Terminal 5. The green hatch chicken was off the chain, as well the Mac & cheese. The strawberry mint lemonade was delicious, it just missed a tiny bit more mint flavor. The employees were very nice and helpful from the moment we walked in. They gave us samples to try it out before we purchased, without making ugly faces. This place saved us from spending $60+ at the other nearby restaurants in Terminal 5 that have terrible reviews. P.s. I finished the bowl and forgot to take a picture before, but that tells you how delicious it was! ;)

Good place to sit and wait if you have some time before your flight in terminal 5. Lots of tables and seating, gets very busy as flights come up. Food seems to be healthy but expensive. Heard of their locations outside LAX so tried the lavender elderflower lemonade. It was super sweet like the server warned but was good watered down. Was worth the travel premium to sit at a table and work.

At least there is a healthy meal to be had in the airport. I was glad to have since Rick and Brews offers 4 meals that looked like it was made for after-school lunch. Anyhoo, salad was good. Portion was ok and decent price for an airport bite. Sad news is the servers make you feel like it is a buffet as they all wait to be called upon and are not ready to MAKE MONEY. I think it is a good looking place, music was a bit too loud while I was there. I will say as a plus since a spoke and witnessed 2 couples leave because there was no real assistance or info on how to order…I personally received my dinner pretty fast

Located in terminal 5. My side caprese salad was fresh and hit the spot. This place is airport expensive but it's nice they offer so many hot and cold sides, healthy and not so healthy. I'm just glad I could find something small and something less than $10 prepared! Plenty of seating, service was friendly and fast.

Coffee was good. Everything else, not so much. Standard, expensive airport food. The quiche was ok, but the potatoes were low quality and the toast was stale and cold. They did not have butter for the toast either. The hot sandwich (roasted chicken) was pretty good, but the potato chips were way too salty and oily.

L
Lizzy

Decent airport poke. Not the most glamorous presentation but the serving was generous and tasty. Orange juice was freshly squeezed and tasty as well. A bit pricy ($27 for poke and OJ). Service was fast and easy to find somewhere to sit. I will continue to search for healthy alternatives in terminal 5. Nothing has quite satisfied me yet.

S
Sean G. Rosenstock

For what it is, it isn't bad. The Mango Chicken is fine, it has some seasoning, though it seems somewhat dry in part because it is white meat. The cauliflower is served cold and is influenced by Indian fare...not spicy, but it has some decent flavor. The macaroni and cheese is standard fare. I guess it is no more pricey than anything else you will find here at the airport...it is moderately priced. As for service, the staff are pleasant and if you ask their opinion about their dishes they will give you their highest opinion. In the end it is probably reasonably healthy food and you could do worse elsewhere.

R

This Lemonade outpost tries to mimic their off-airport model of assembling your meal when you order. This is a plus, because it means not everything is pre-made and refrigerated for days. Prices are high, but not quite into the absurd that the neighboring restaurant in the terminal has hit. The sandwiches we ordered were pretty good. I'm not sure I can rate this four stars, but that might be more about the location and price than the food or service. This may be the best option in T5.

X
Xmar S

Honestly a bit underwhelming. The place looks promising from the outside, but the food was just average and didn’t feel fresh. Portions were small for the price, and nothing really stood out flavor-wise. Service was okay but not very attentive, and the atmosphere felt more like a cafeteria than a place you’d want to sit and enjoy a meal. Wouldn’t rush back, but it’s fine if you’re in the area and need a quick bite.

F
Fang Phattha

Okay place for breakfast in LAX T5. Not very impressed with the food but everything else was ok. The ordering process was a bit counterintuitive for me as you can’t pick anything along the way and have to get everything at the till. It’s pricey and small yes but that’s LAX so we don’t have much choice.

M
Mengqi Wang

Flavor is alright. The rice is horrendous. You wanna make sure the rice is firm. The entire base of rice tastes like a starch blob.

s
stefan

The food was average, fresh food was great though, but the main takeaway from this is the absurd prices they are selling food for. Whilst this is pretty normal in all airport restaurants or stores, this one made me cry a little, but the body hungers. I would have at least expected more for a tiny sandwich if they were going to charge that much. Judge for yourself!

turkey BLTA was really good, except they had no avocado and i paid full price anyway. and a 10% concession fee is absolute BS. so many people waste food at this food stand when they get to the register and see that all ingredients cost $5,$6 each . i don’t know why this terminal didn’t have a dunkin or starbucks.

D

The food was good but too pricey for a small portion. The place has ample seating and is kids friendly. Yet, the staff is not really friendly and the noise is pretty loud.

So had only 1 hour left to eat a quick bite. They were pretty quick considering busy hour 1200pm. I had the poke bowl & it was fresh & good. There's no chop sticks so felt weird eating with a fork. my husband had the macaroni & some chicken & gravy that was not tasty. He had to throw it out. We ordered alcoholic beverages & they were room temperature. .the girl was able to switch it. Area pretty clean & utensils stocked.

Not sure why this place is getting a lot of hate. Look, it’s not gonna be a five star restaurant or a four-star restaurant maybe even a three star restaurant. But it’s going to be a restaurant the food that they have looks decent. I had the mango chicken with brussels sprouts and a side salad and it tasted very good. It was a healthy meal. Sure it was expensive, but that’s the cost of doing business in an airport.

Dr. Cassander Titley-O'Neal (Sandy O'Neal)

This review is based on their breakfast menu as that is what I had. There were not many eating options in Terminal 5 and it was busy. I tried Lemonade and I had a chorizo skillet with potatoes and a side of bacon which costed extra. The food wasn't bad bit it didn't say come back either. The lemonade was nice and tart, just the way I like it.

You will pay $18.62 for a Farmer's Skillet that looks like this. Don't blame the employees, they were warm and friendly. Blame the greedy owners who will extort the common traveler for every dime of profit. Quiche was not bad, good healthy option.

H
Hilal Abdessamad

Food is ok, can benefit from some more flavor. Portion is meh. For the lemonade, they have pictures of drinks that look very appealing, but they don't have them. They offer you other options, so u are forced to make a quick decision because people would be around you waiting. Service was horrendous. The lady barely answers with 1 or 2 words and a resting "bad" face. For example, when I asked about the price of a tuna avocado bowl (which she was very annoyed that I couldnt find because apparently I should know it is called pokeball), she answered "it is written there".

S
Stephanie

I mean it’s airport food and prices. But you have to ASK to get your food warmed up? Got a colddddd salmon and warming Brussels sprouts and white rice. Side of Mac . $30 with drink. Drink is good, sweet but honestly worth the $6 at the airport.

R

Really disappointed, the rice bowl had hard pieces of rice that made me feel like I would break a tooth. The curry meatballs were just ok. Please change out your rice more frequently and pay attention to the quality. Especially being that it is a rice bowl!

Cleary marked vegan options. I had the Deli Roasted Potatoes with paprika, salt and pepper and orange juice. Orange juice was good. Staff is rude. You don't have many vegan options in Terminal 5 at LAX so it may be one of your best options.

Save your money and just go somewhere else. Even Rock N Brews across the way. Staff is too busy on their cellphones to care that a line of customers are lined up waiting to order. Then when they see people bunched up in line, they proceed to yell at you like a child saying you need to order in the middle of the restaurant even though there signs say “Order Here” in a different spot. Even being told, “Did you read the sign???” No Thanks. Left the restaurant and went somewhere else while the lady at the cashier just laughed. Look I get it, it’s Airport food… not expecting a culinary adventure but you could at least try to treat your customers with respect. The Lemonades looked tasty at least.

Health food my 🍑 . They barely have anything gluten-free. The cauliflower is mostly raisins. The pineapple chicken has cheese and of course pineapple in it - there’s nothing fully healthy here. The food is cold. The food is mediocre. For what you see plus a little immunity shot I was charged $20. Never coming back and not going to one in the city either, ugh. They give you everything in plastic and don’t even recycle. Are you kidding? DO BETTER.

C
Cal DeJesus

The food here is pitiful and overpriced. The photos and signs of the food should be flagged as false advertising because it looks nothing like it in real life. After seeing the state of the "chilled, grilled salmon" and tuna, I thought the safe bet would be a sandwich. Nope, I was wrong! Dont bother with the sandwiches. The basil on the tomato mozzarella was old and it was drenched in so much sauce that the ciabatta was soggy. Hot sides are not included in the sandwich combo and they didnt have several of the market sides listed on the menu. I highly recommend to skip this place.

M

So expensive! Ripping passengers off are you serious? They also need to put prices and clearly stating we are paying for each.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!! This terminal has very little options for food so i decided to try this place. not only was it HORRIBLY Expensive ($30 for a BAD sandwich and BAD mac n cheese) BUT IT GAVE ME THE WORST FOOD POISONING before, during and after my 6 hour flight to miami. I was throwing up with a fever for 3 full days. Throwing up on the flight, delirious and felt like i was truly dying. I threw up more than 30 times. worst experience of my life. HAD TO GO TO URGENT CARE!!! Paid $30 to end up not being able to work for a whole week costing me hundreds of dollars, urgent care visit and the experience of being so sick I couldn’t go 10 mins without throwing up. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

Disgusting, despicable place. One of the worst meals I've ever had. The breakfast sandwich is over $17 with tax, and contains powdered eggs, a puny amount of bacon, and a stale oily brioche bun. The potatoes were dry, limp, and lifeless. The breakfast sandwich was microwaved as one can easily tell by its and its container's high temperature. Lemonade clearly doesn't care about it's food or it's customers - it's simply a money grab. I have no respect for this scam of a place.

After having an awful time dealing with American Airlines and getting flights, Hotels, and cabs canceled on us the airline tried to make right by giving my family and I some vouchers for food. After sleeping on the floor of the airport for hours we decided to go to this restaurant as it was the first one open. Once we ordered our food and I tried to pay with the vouchers we received just moments ago from the airline, the lady working at the front counter today 8/04/2025 told me she wasn’t going to accept the vouchers. She said “I’m not going to key all those numbers in and if you want to do it yourself you can only use the one voucher.” That is totally unacceptable and any employee that’s going to turn away free money and treat customers like that should be fired.

C
Collin Coon

Not sure what’s up but the staff should definitely communicate clearly. Told us they had no chicken left so we ordered sides, the next person behind me was able to order chicken?? The sides were communicated as regular or double, yet we are charged the same. Overall don’t waste your time.

K

This maybe a healthy choice, but you will surely get a side of attitude. Today when I went to purchase breakfast veggie quiche with a la carte bacon for $35.00 I asked for a coffee. The cashier had pre made a coffee and insist that it was just made. When I refused coffee . She huffed and puffed, rolled her eyes and stormed. Guess what I Hope you enjoy the breakfast that I left at her register. How dare she? Charging outrageous prices and a bad customer that’s what you get when you eat at this restaurant!! Unacceptable!!

p

The food wasn't good but that might just be because the worker working there was awfully rude to me and my sister. Food was uncooked and some of the greens were spoilt. (Worker was a black lady with short hair didn't get her name). She was rude and said we were not able to get a certain food as we were supposedly in “lala land” according to her.

Ivanna Vykhor

We never been there before and had no idea how it works, employees were not helpful. It has really hard to hear them, but they didn’t ever try to help us. I’m vegan, so my opinion were limited. And there were out of lots of stuff. I ended up eating a bagel with jelly for $6, and my husband got veggie skillet, which was just a slice of omelet. That’s it!! When I complained why it’s $16, they told us it comes with apple, which they sell it for little over a dollar. I know airport food is expensive but it’s ridicules!! Fight now sitting in another a restaurant where I ordered a burger with side of fries for $17, which is a full meal,

V

I understand that food will be expensive at the airport but it’s not even good. Rice has hard dry bits. In my opinion mandarins don’t compliment the dish. Overall the bowl looks very sad. No vibrant colors other than seaweed. Need more ingredients that blend well. Worst poke bowl I’ve eaten. Extremely low effort and a rip off. Filled me up with disappointment and not food.

Sat there for 2 min without any eye contact backs turned on me. A bagel, farmers egg slice, lemonade and parfait was $50. Unreal. The eggs are instant eggs…no nutritional value whatsoever. Bagel was clearly frozen and chewy. The parfait was maybe 7/11 quality. The lemonade tasted premade and the lemonade at Chick Fil A taste fresher. Absolutely nasty disgusting overpriced food.

I’ve tried this chain twice now, and have gotten food poisoning BOTH times! First time was the San Diego location a few years back, second time was this week from LAX. Pictured below was the salad I bought for $20. After two times, I def learned my lesson! Don’t even chance it.

One of the worst restaurant inside LAX Airport. Firstly, the staff was kind of rude. We were here for the first time, so we asked what kind of food they serve. The lady was rude. Anyhow, we were hungry, so we ordered their Farmer's skillet, Veggie Skillet, A La Carte Chicken Sausage, Potatoes on a side and Lemonade Mango drink. As you can see on photos, the skillet was overcooked and burnt. Also the amount of food for what we paid was way way way too much expensive. Don't go here. You'll waste your money and ruin your day.

Insane prices. $27 for a cold tomato mozzarella sandwich and a bottle of water. No meat, no sides, not even a napkin; just a wrapped sandwich and a bottle that costs $2 in a regular store. I get that it’s the airport, but this is price gouging plain and simple. Quality was average at best. Feels like they’re charging you for breathing near the gate. Avoid if you can.

R
Ryan

What you see in the photo was $20. I found the weight of the box of food very light for the amount of money they charged. There are way better options next door. Also, don’t post the breakfast/dinner menu together if you only serve one at a time. Whoever is making the decisions here is doing a terrible job. I also discovered that there is another “Lemonade” in LA which was surprising because all this particular place is is a one time dining disappointment cash-grab at an airport. Outside of LAX a place like this wouldn’t last a month. What an insult to customers and your brand name.

M

Overpriced: Bottled water is $8.5 and it's the only option. A tomato mazzarrella sandwich is $18.5. I understand this is an airport restaurant. So never mind. Impatient staff: I also understand cuz they serve a lot of people. But seriously...the cheese and tomato is not even defrosted... I can tolerate a lot of things because I'm tired and hungry and that I understand things are not perfect. I rarely leave a bad review but eating expensive FORZEN food after a long flight really is the last straw.
