Stopped here for brunch on a busy weekend. Despite the line, we didn't have to wait too long since there was quite a bit of outdoor seating. Breakfast options were great, and our vegan friend was also easily able to select from several options that for their needs. Parking is tricky, but that's normal for the area.
We went during a weekday and there wasn’t a line so we got a table pretty fast. I Loved everything about this Cafe! Service was awesome & attentive! Food was excellent and the iced chai latte was delicious! Will definitely be coming back.
I’ve visited twice, and the service has been amazing both times. The food is excellent, and I truly can’t stress enough how attentive and friendly all of the waiters and servers are. They go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. Highly recommend this place for breakfast!

One of the best restaurants experiences ever. Came with my family of 6 including 4 children and the service as 10/10 from the time we sat down till the time we left. 1. Wait time was about 10mins max and it was busy!! 2. Food got delivered in 10mins max after sitting down! (We ordered Usual Breakfast pancakes eggs, sausage etc. 3. Quality of food exceptional! 10/10 4. Atmosphere 10/10 music was a vibe. LA rap & r&b early 2000s 5. Price was worth the experience. Good job to who ever was apart of the morning crew. Definitely hit flow state. 5 Stars across the board. By the way we are also in the food industry so I know how hard it is to pull that off. We will be coming back most definitely!

10/10! The food was absolutely delicious. I strongly recommend the huevos rancheros and the tuna melt with sweet potato fries. The service was amazing very attentive and helpful. Janet was amazing with my allergies and our questions. She had some great recommendations too. The menu is extensive with a lot of different options for vegans and vegetarians. No wonder this place is always busy!!😋
This place was packed out for a late breakfast on a Friday, so I assumed it would be awesome. I was right. Huge menu, almost anything could be done vegan, some cool and inventive coffee drinks, and super fast. Service was great, food came fast, and everything was great. Street parking was plentiful, we got a spot right out front and it doesn’t look like enforcement is high. Definitely a must if you’re in the area.
Just had breakfast here for the first time. We ordered pistachio latte, California Benedict, country fried steak breakfast, and blueberry french toast. Everything was delicious, service was super fast. No complaints.
The Breakfast for Champions! Don't tell anyone, especially tourists, how incredible this restaurant is. It's already busy enough. You will ALWAYS wait. Always. But it's WORTH it every time! They have the fluffiest cappuccino foam I’ve had so far. My friend got patty melt and it was good. Mine was pork belly benedict and it was legit. Hollandaise sauce complemented very well with pork belly. Really tasty and flavorful. Service and ambience were nice. Only downside was parking spots.

Fantastic service, great food options. They have a regular menu and then an entire vegan menu with vegan egg Benedict options! So delicious, I think they could use better quality vegan meats but all in all it absolutely hit the spot for my Benedict craving I have been having as a long time vegan. Millie’s Café on Sunset is a gem! First visit after a Griffith Park hike and we were blown away. Friendly staff, amazing food, and a menu full of vegan and vegetarian options — perfect for us, but great for everyone. As LA locals, this one goes straight to the top of our café list. I almost wanted to gatekeep it, but everyone should know about this spot!

I was happily surprised coming here. I knew it was going to be good, but everything that hit the table was very delicious. The fact that they had fresh coconuts sold me immediately. Oof, this place is sooo good. Plentiful vegan breakfast food. Totally worth any wait in a line you must endure. Quantity and quality in abundance here. The vegan pancakes were fluffy and flavorful, but due to automatically being gluten-free you may be a tad disappointed if you, like me, are looking for that classic diner pancake taste and feel. Let’s talk about Millie’s because this one hurts a little. 😕 I’ve been coming to Millie’s Cafe on Sunset Boulevard since after the pandemic. Over time, I’ve seen a mix of familiar faces and newer staff. Some of the newer team members are genuinely great and welcoming. Unfortunately, I’ve had repeated experiences that make it hard for me to continue coming back to this location. There is an older gentleman who has served me a few times, and each time the level of service has fallen below expectations. On those visits, I wasn’t offered drink refills or checked on, and basic steps of service felt consistently missed. It’s noticeable, especially compared to other servers here. There’s also ongoing inconsistency with the menu. Servers will often say they are “out of hash browns,” which feels surprising for an establishment like Millie’s and seems to happen far too often. When this happens, roasted potatoes are offered as a substitute, but I often come to a diner or café specifically for hash browns. Millie’s rosemary hash browns are genuinely good, so it’s especially disappointing when they aren’t available. Some servers also appear distracted or unsure, often walking around without checking in or providing updates. When back-of-house staff come to the front, their demeanor can feel rushed or disorganized, which adds to the sense that standards aren’t being upheld consistently. I’ve also had repeated issues with the lavender chai latte. When I first started coming here, the drink included lavender seeds and actually tasted like lavender and spice. More recently, the seeds are no longer included, and the drink tastes overwhelmingly like plain whole milk. On one visit, I raised this concern immediately after tasting it and asked the server to pass the feedback along. I hadn’t consumed the drink beyond a small taste, but I was denied a full refund and offered only half off instead. While I accepted that, it was disappointing given how quickly I addressed the issue. Beyond service, the food itself has been inconsistent. The breakfast meats, particularly the sausage and ham, don’t taste the same from visit to visit. When you come back expecting familiarity and reliability, those inconsistencies stand out. I’ve been dining here roughly once every couple of months over the past six months, and after multiple uneven experiences, I don’t think I’ll be returning to Millie’s. Consistency in both service and food is important, and that’s been missing for me here. I’m sharing this feedback constructively. This place has a strong reputation, but tighter standards, clearer communication, and more consistent execution would go a long way.

They were bothering us and the table next to us saying “are you all done? We need the tables” we politely told them several times “WE WANT TO FINISH OUR DRINKS PLEASE LEAVE US ALONE” and we were only there for 45 min at this point anyway . It’s 9:30 am be angry and aggressive someone else not with ppl who are paying customers .
