Pret A Manger Los Angeles Reviews
1. this is the best spot at night their team is super on point and they are the most wonderful people 2. LAX has terrible night options and after missing a flight, this was the proverbial oasis in the desert, many thanks to Lavine for keeping our spirits high! 3. the coffee was fantastic! need more beer/wine selection
The pesto chicken salad slaps and it’s like 12 bucks. People bitching about the price act like there’s a cheaper alternative. Spoiler alert: this is an airport, they got you by the balls, there isn’t one. At least the food here is filling, tasty and healthy.
What an amazing place with coffee/food/treat options early in morning. The staff/manager recently opened 24 hours but few are aware on social media so without support it may be short lived 🫣 - it is accessible from terminals 4 all the way to terminal 8 if you have already passed security. The staff are dedicated, genuine, and I’m lucky to have ventured over here this early. The options to eat and drink are abundant!!
Nice place to get some quick food. They have ready made cold & hot sandwiches, wraps & hot soups, coffee, juice, bakery etc.
Excellent selection and friendly staff !

It's one of the best coffee shops that I've ever been in LA. It's better than Starbucks or other chains. You must try them!!

“Pret A Manger is the perfect spot for fresh, healthy, and delicious food on the go. Their sandwiches, salads, and wraps are made daily with high-quality ingredients, and the coffee is always rich and smooth. The variety of options, including vegan and gluten-free choices, makes it easy to find something for everyone. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Whether for a quick breakfast, lunch, or snack, Pret delivers great taste and convenience every time!”
Came here at 5:15am. I'm so glad there's something opened at this hour. Just glad to ladies were professional, and quick with the Chai Latte. I was pretty much in and out. Probably should have tried their other items.
Typical peer a manger but more expensive. Their croissant is really good. Sandwich always fresh and yogurt is thick.

I ordered a hot mocha and a double chocolate cookie and want very tasty. The cookie was hard and crunchy, but maybe that's the way it's supposed to be? The mocha was very bland. As far as airport coffee shops go, this one was nice enough and the lady who serve me was also very friendly and efficient. It was 9 p.m. but there was a long line of people so I doubt the cookie was crunchy because it was old or something.
Pret-a-manger at LAX could invest in Wi-Fi service for its clients. Instead the cashier told me to use #VinoVolo (I can mention them since the staff adviced me to do so). Coffee was slightly creamy with a little acidity, which I like and was reasonably priced $4.90 for medium. Place is clean, staff are friendly, good effective team. Glad there something else but the regular competition.

Ok for a quick bite. Dry sandwiches but limited selection. I guess due to high demand they can't keep up.
Watch out! no prices on anything, we bought two bottles of water two sandwiches and two pastries….$60. But nice lady serving us.
The chicken pesto salad is indeed good, but apparently it doubled in price since the last reviewer commented on it a year ago. $24 after tax?! Gimme a break, pret

We have Pret in London and it is my favorite chain there for years. I was very excited to find it here. First bite into my tuna sandwich I was like .. lol what is this. The bread is stale. It was 100% not baked same day. So much for "freshly made food". And you can see in the pic cucumbers are also kinda old. And those were sandwiches that just came out of the kitchen. Disappointing.

I'm just going to assume that there isn't a "street pricing" requirement on food at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) because $11.20 for an Egg Salad sandwich. $11.95 for a cheese and tomato sandwich and $9.49 for a can of Goose IPA is absurd. At 9:30 AM, shelves were well stocked with sandwiches, beverages and such. A queue had formed for coffee so I skipped that. They have a clever self-checkout that worked well. Don't get me wrong - Pret sandwiches are awesome. I got hooked on them when I lived in the UK for two years. Their coffee over there was great and these fresh sandwiches are delicious. But here at LAX? Overpriced by 100%.
Review for Latte only, did not try their food: Ordered a large latte with oat milk (cost $7.72 after tax) and it taste like a cheap house coffee from a diner with splash of oat milk that was frothed poorly (see picture, note the drink was not filled all the way up not sure if standard practice for them). Not sure if it’s their off day but I’m disappointed on how the latte came out. I would’ve been better off getting a house coffee from Starbucks next to it and save some $$ Pros - dairy substitute is “free” - tables + seatings available

Got a yogurt and it literally had mold in it. Got a refund, but they didn’t take any of the yogurts out, knowing full well that there’s a good chance that there’s other moldy yogurts that they’re selling. There’s no dates on the food so it’s impossible to tell if any are past expiration.
Pret a Manger at LAX is convenient, but the experience doesn’t live up to the price tag. The food is overpriced, even by airport standards — simple sandwiches running well over $11 and basic drinks costing more than they should. For what you pay, the quality just isn’t there. Service is another weak point. Several customers mention unfriendly or unhelpful staff, and my experience was similar. Even small requests can turn into uncomfortable interactions, which is the last thing you want when you’re already dealing with airport stress. Overall, this Pret feels like it’s relying on heavy foot traffic rather than delivering a good experience: high prices, inconsistent service, and food that doesn’t justify the cost. There are better options in LAX if you have the time to look around.
Been a Pret a Manger fan for 11 years because of their plant-based, organic & tasty offerings. Not at LAX though! Zero vegan dishes hot or cold. No salads, sandwiches, or bowls to grab. Lots of chicken items and mac n cheeses.
Very unfriendly service. I simply asked for a cup of hot water because I was freezing and had a long wait for my next flight. Even that costs $3 here, despite bringing my own bottle. Sad to see such a lack of basic human kindness.
I felt the staff member was not friendly and spoke rudely to everyone, even to senior citizens. His tone and attitude were impolite. People should remember that not words can hurt even it’s very important to maintain good body language and treat customers with respect. Also, they mentioned they had no change available, so I couldn’t get my return, which was quite inconvenient
