Te'Kila Los Angeles Reviews
Wandered in here because the taco trucks weren't out yet and really enjoyed our meal. We had the chips and salsa, carnitas tacos, asada tacos, and the happy hour margaritas. Margaritas were fine, but the tacos and chips and salsa were excellent. The carne asada was one of the best I've had. Plump, juicy pieces, with a nice char on them. Just delicious. The carnitas were great as well. Very tender with some nice crispy bits throughout. The salsa had a great spice to it as well, which was a welcome surprise. I would definitely eat here again.
I’m not really a big sports dive-bar kind of girl, but I came to support my hubby and our friends. Turns out it’s an original Seahawks fan bar...and wow, the energy was unreal. So much momentum and nonstop cheering for the Seahawks. We grabbed some drinks and grilled shrimp, and honestly the service was great considering how packed and full of fans it was. 🍻🦐🏈
The food has always been so delicious, this was my go to during covid! We came here for a post bday celebration for my sisters 30th bday. My favorites are the Frozen Strawberry Margarita (slightly overcharged), Buffalo Wings, and the Carne Asada Steak Tacos. My new favorite is the Molcajete, this is enough for 4 people! I love this place, it’s always homey and a nice place if you are looking for a good atmosphere and Mexican cuisine. My sister is a chef and is amazed by how good the food is, being Mexican cuisine, is one of her favorite dishes to prepare, as she was a top chef in Universal at a well known Mexican restaurant and we are half Mexican. So it’s always a delight! Highly recommended!!
Listen. Go to Taco Tuesday!!! There is no better value and no better deliciousness! I don't like frozen fries as a general rule and those are even amazing!! I was so hungry that I forgot to take pictures but then the food was SO GOOD that I totally forgot to get my camera out to photograph what was left on my plate. My tequila-based cocktail was a work of art and also delicious.
Accidentally found this place when walking past - and it was great. Lovely service, tacos and nachos were delicious, but you really need to get the tekila lime wings as well, they were amazing! Margaritas were also superb. All in all really recommend!
Te’Kila is by far my favorite Los Angeles bar!! Amazing place to watch Seahawk’s football, but even if you’re not a fan, still one of the best restaurants and spots to grab a few drinks. I’ve been spending time at Te’kila for more than a decade now, and can’t imagine my life without it! A huge part of what makes this place so special are the incredibly lovely servers and bar tenders. Kat truly is one of the best servers that I’ve ever had. Even when the bar is packed, and she is surrounded by sometimes demanding and impatient customers (in addition to us loud and crazy football fans haha:) I see her work quickly, accurately, and with a smile on her face. Kat is a light!! and I look forward to her exceptional service and beautiful personality. Make sure to stop by Te’Kila soon and ask for Kat when you arrive!!
As I come here often, I can’t say enough good things about Alisha! She always greets us by name making each visit feel special. Her bubbly personality and great recommendations always enhance our experience. If you want a memorable meal filled with good vibes, definitely request Alisha. Shes the BEST!!! No one compares to her!! Great asset to the team !
Big shoutout to Ericka at Te’kila Bar in Hollywood! 🍹 She made the night an absolute blast — super friendly, quick with drinks, and always had a smile that kept the good vibes rolling. If you’re bar hopping in Hollywood, make sure to stop by Te’kila and ask for Ericka — she’ll take care of you right! Great energy, strong pours, and a perfect spot to keep the night warm.
I think this has been about the third time I've been here. Not sure why I never wrote a review before? Everytime was excellent. Good food, good strong margaritas, good service ( the waiters are really nice) . Nice decor and old school MTV type videos 90's, early 00's playing on the TV's . Nice to hear some songs from back in the day. Very good prices and large portions too. I always have sat at a table but the bar looks and seems like it would be lots of fun.
This place was very delicious! We went in Fajita Thursdays so I ordered the steak and shrimp which were scrumptious along with the rice, beans, and guacamole. My friends ordered the shrimp tacos and then the battered fish tacos which were also very yummy. The server was from Ukraine and she was so delightful and used Spanish key words. I had a mescal cocktail which was surprisingly very good. Very pleased with this restaurant! We parked around the corner at a lot which was $25.
Had the most delicious enchiladas I’ve ever ordered here. Sharp crisp fresh tomatillo flavor in the green sauce. So delicious. Also ordered coffee and expected plain diner flavor coffee and was very pleasantly surprised to have one of the much better quality cups of coffee I’ve had at a restaurant. I liked it better than Starbucks plain coffee. Definitely recommended.
Food was delicious, the quantity was adequate. The drinks were average. Service could be tad bit better, with more frequent visit to check in. There is a mandatory 18% gratuity added already for all orders.
