The Lobby Bar Los Angeles Reviews
Our waiter was really polite and had a good sense of humor. He was very attentive and the food was really good. Highly recommend the fish tacos.
We came here to get a quick drink and a bite, and to cool off before our flight out of LA. The waitress who served us was so sweet and attentive. My wife and I shared the house special smoked brisket sandwich and they were kind enough to bring it in separate plates with extra fries. There are electric outlets everywhere so it's a nice place to get some work done as well. Prices are OK - what you normally expect from hotel lobby restaurants.
Tim was incredibly hospitable. Great service and great drinks and food. Keep these kind of workers.
Jean Paul is an artist when it comes to craft cocktails. Old Fashioned with Bulleit Rye came out better than I’ve ever had. Strongly recommend this sanctuary from the insanity of the city. JP knows his craft and will take you on an exquisite journey. Cheers!

Absolutely amazing service today! Came with the original intent to eat upstairs, but they weren't open when I showed. I wanted the experience, so I had the cheesecake at the bar. Absolutely amazing! Presentation was phenomenal! Service was phenomenal as well. Thank you, I'll definitely visit again.

I was at the Westin Bonaventure hotel for a conference and the Lobby Court restaurant and bar was a convenient place to eat. They have a good wine selection and a full bar. The menu is not huge but has a good variety. I got a half Caesar salad $9, and portobello mushroom fajitas $18. The fajitas came with a side of rice and beans and sour cream, guacamole and salsa. The salsa was Smokey and amazing, the beans for good but the rice left a lot to be desired. The portobello mushroom fajitas were delicious and the portion was very generous. The only reason I did not give the restaurant five stars is because I stood waiting for 15 minutes before I finally stopped a waitress that was clearing a table to find out where you go to be seated. Just an FYI she let me know you just grab an open table and then hope somebody notices you so you can place your order. Once you are connected with the waitress the service is great. I think they may need a new system or maybe even a sign to tell you to just grab a table but outside of that it was a pleasant experience and a great meal.
Not a terrible experience overall. We were able to sit immediately and were greeted promptly. Our dreams were delivered somewhat quickly. It was nice to see labeled vegan options. The vegan lasagna tasted pretty good even though it was a little cold in the middle. (It’s probably simple microwaved.) Also, know that it is not a filling protein source. We had to ask for the salad that it was supposed to come with because everyone forgot it. We loved that it’s open kinda late inside the Westin. Not my favorite experience but also not the worst. I’d try again in the hopes that the next experience is nice.

Usually I love getting drinks in the hotel bar. It's nice to have a drink while waiting for an Uber or before you hit the town. These cocktails were not good. I have never been served an old fashioned that was basically a shirley temple, gross. To make matters worse, my vodka soda was also gross. I didn't know it was possible to mess up a vodka soda, but apparently it is. It tasted semi sweet like maybe the glass was dirty? Not sure, but definitely disappointing. If you're staying here, skip the lobby bar and go to Bonaventure Brewing on the next level up.
