Zweet Cafe Los Angeles Reviews
Casual spot for Colombian breakfast. Their waffle breakfast is great. It was confusing though to order because their menu said "eggs with ham or bacon or chorizo", but when we ordered it turns out it was just eggs, and any meats were additional charge. Also the photo of the eggs had vegetables in it but the actual eggs did not. Overall pretty confusing, but the food was good. The waffle is by far their most expensive breakfast item. Also not everyone speaks English.
Everything in this bakery is good! Hands down, the only spot to have breakfast in the Heights. If you can deal with the slow service, it is worth the wait and you will not be disappointed. The avena (oatmeal), coffee and meals are amazing!
A great mom and pop bakery and amazing prices! They've been serving the community for over 20 years I believe. From a warm cup of coffee or oatmeal or freshly baked bread or cookies or cakes this is the place! Highly recommend this bakery👌🏼
So delicious 🤤 i loved everything ! I am still craving it but sadly i am 5 hours away hahaha ! 😝✨
Can't go wrong with Angel Azul. The breakfast and pastry snacks are on point and very affordable. Large cafe con leches for $2 and a full size breakfast for $4.75. If looking for a take out snack, the lines can get quite long but the cost benefit works in Angel Azul's favor. Great spot in JC Heights!
It's a must to stop at this bakery when I am in town! Pastries are always fresh and the prices are too good to be true!
One of my fav spot for coffee n chesse bun 😍

I love getting there breakfast were bacon, eggs and homefries. There pastries are delicious. Also, there coffee is amazing.
Angel’s is definitely my go to breakfast & cafe con leche spot. Their prices are super super affordable & the food is delicious!! My go to is either the #5 or the #7! My only issue is the table space in there, I wish it wasn’t so tight because this place gets super packed, and i get a little claustrophobic when i’m eating there.
Angel Azul holds a special place in my heart, as it's been a cherished bakery in my life since childhood. Countless memories of weekends spent here with my family flood my mind, making each visit a trip down memory lane. One of the things I love most about Angel Azul is its affordability without compromising on quality. The prices are incredibly reasonable, making it accessible to all, and the food is simply delicious. For breakfast, I highly recommend trying the "El Desayuno Regular con Papa Casera." It's a classic dish that never disappoints, with the home fries adding a comforting touch. And let's not forget about their coffee—it's a true standout. In fact, I dare say it rivals, if not surpasses, the coffee you'd find at Starbucks. Whether you're looking to indulge in fond childhood memories or create new ones with loved ones, Angel Azul is the perfect spot. With its welcoming atmosphere, affordable prices, and mouthwatering food, it's a bakery that never fails to leave a lasting impression.
Really love pandebono and coffee here. Gluten free Colombian empanadas are perfect for people with low tolerance. And very tasty
This is hands down the BEST Colombian panaderia around. I’ve lived in 4 different states and have tried other panaderías, but it’s just not the same. Every time my wife and I come back to Jersey to visit family, we HAVE to come here for the delicious empanadas, pastries and food 🥰 And the workers are always so friendly. Really happy to see that business is still booming for this place!

My absolute favorite place to go to on Central Ave and they have the best coffee ever.

The food is okay but not bad. They send the humita cold, they didn’t feel like warming it up.
Giving my 3 stars just cause of service. The food is amazing and affordable. The service just sucks. They have so many people working behind counter working on one or two orders. Had they been better at multitasking I would’ve given it 5 stara

Place looks nice. They need to hire someone to make coffee. Coffe was horrible. I ask for small late. They say we don’t do late small. I ask them to give me little be milk then. What I got was a huge cup of coffee can barely taste coffee. And was so hot that I burn my mouth. I recommend to hire a professional barista to make a good coffee. I can buy coffee somewhere else and came here to eat the bakery. Will that be other option to

It sucks that this location is one of the few Latin bakeries in the JC area. It never fails, every time I go I get terrible customer service. Latin culture is known for being warm and inviting. This bakery falls short in doing so. After my most recent experience I will not be going back.
Food is good! Personnel is friendly. I give only two stars because they are not taking any action to reduce their plastic waste. Plastic cutlery, single-use styrofoam plates and cups, plastic bags, no initiative at all to reduce their footprint and switching to more sustainable packing... I hope this review makes the owner consider the issue. if so, I will be happy to increase to five stars!

I go here in the morning to get breakfast all the time. I ordered an iced coffee they put a splash of coffee filled with an entire cup of milk. I ask for less milk they say it will cost me more to have a full cup of coffee when what I ordered was literally an iced coffee. Then they gave me half assed iced coffee they didn’t remake it they dumped part of the cup out, added whatever coffee was left in the pot then gave it to me. I said this isn’t a full cup they I have to pay extra for a full cup. Terrible service I go here almost every other day and will not be returning. Management is rude and penny pinches

The old lady with glasses worse guest service. Always messes up my orders I called for a pick up and she still messed it up and when I explained to her she was back talking about me to her coworker not knowing I speak Spanish too.
