Carry Nations Los Gatos Reviews
It's a neighborhood bar, no food! Best to catchup with buddies or nightcap. They have good collection of beers, liquor and wines. It's a big space so can handle large parties. Parking in the lot or street.
Great service great drinks and great atmosphere. The perfect ending point to an evening in Los Gatos!
Excellent pad to have a few pints very outgoing

Justin, Ray Ray, and Mike are the best! The drink prices are reasonable, and they have coffee from Los Gatos Roasting Company. It's nice to be able to hang out and get work done in a brightly lit place, where the bartenders are kind, and no one cares if you get a coffee and jump on the wifi. Some people go to coffee shops, I like being able to chat and hang out with friends while getting computer work done. Thank you, guys, for being top notch bartenders and all around good people. :)
Great local bar. Must vist in Las Gatos!
Carry nations is a great place. It's chill and not overruled by hoodlums like in san jose. So people mostly are chill for a drink and not super ego driven.
Casual bar with good pours and decent prices. Would recommend!
A nice local haunt with the best whiskey sours in town plus rotating special microbrews, and a nice selection of booze. Nice tenders and nice peeps. Gets a little crowded and skews young Friday and Saturday nights🤔but what great place doesn't?
Very cheersy local spot that gets a hipster vibe during the evenings. I'm not from the area but have frequented this spot on my visits to the cats. Great place for good drinks and hanging out, knowledgeable bartenders especially in the mid afternoon. Will continue to visit every time I make a trek down to Los Gatos.
Great location, staff is nice. Music is nice. Just an overall enjoyable spot for a few elements of relaxation in any otherwise busy life. They don't serve food.
Great local bar. Not upscale, but definitely not a dive. Friendly staff and reasonable prices for drinks. Very popular on Friday and Saturday nights.

For the most part a consistent, reasonably priced establishment. Tiffany during the days is awesome and welcoming, I've always had a good time at this place during the day shift. At night, I've had mixed experiences. Ray is really cool and it can get crowded so show up early if you want a guaranteed seat. Attracts a diverse, eclectic crowd. The one bartender Garrett is a total jerk and had something to prove, I refuse to go in there when hes working the bar.
A nice bar with a varied crowd. There's plenty of seating and they have happy hour drinks and food. One side benefit of Carry Nations is it's right across from Pizza My Heart which makes it easy to grab a cheap slice between drinks. I've been there with larger groups and it didn't seem crowded. The bathrooms are downstairs which can be tricky after a few drinks...watch yer step. The drink prices are a bit higher than I usually pay but it's Los Gatos so...Lo$ Gato$ Price$.
So the basic criteria for a bar: CROWD: Decent crowd, a little bit older, but fun and lively. DRINKS: Good choice, they pour them strong. LINES: Gets too busy sometimes, which is frustrating. DECOR: Not bad. I like the rustic atmosphere. Guess it's a matter of personal preference. I give them 4 stars.
This is a cool little neighborhood bar. Staff is super friendly as are most of the customers. The kind of place you can have a conversation with anyone in there. Some out-of-towners are not as friendly but still not rude.
Odd strange little bar in LG. I've been in it only twice, seperated by nearly 30 years, and it hasnt changed. Is that good? Is that bad? I don't know, but the beer selection was good and they had sports playing quietly on three monitors. A good place to actually meet and talk.

Been a Los Gatos resident for 40 years.. tried to get a drink here tonight and was denied. It is currently 1:20 am. Supposed to be open until 2 and I only wanted one beer. What has become of my old town?
Pretentious and arrogant is the vibe here, along with extremely over priced watered down cocktails, why did I come here again, it's just like it was in 2001? If you want over priced drinks, arrogant staff, and a bunch of entitled patrons, this is your place. Someone should let this place know, just because you are located in a city where most people are rich, doesn't mean you have to treat anyone that isn't a regular like a second hand citizen.

Super strange experience with the host who wouldn’t seat our group even when we were okay splitting into smaller tables. The host was okay leaving multiple tables open just to make sure that our group wasn’t able to be seated. It felt like he was annoyed just by the fact that we didn’t call to make a reservation even when the bar wasn’t busy. An odd power play by the manager.
Waited 40 minutes for someone to come to my table and ask if I wanted a drink or a menu. There were four people in the bar. Worst service I have experienced, genuinely just a waste of time
