Diablo Pase Wines Los Robles Reviews
Hands down my favorite spot in Paso. I was referred here by Stillson Cellars and Diablo did not disappoint. The server was super nice and gave us time to enjoy a variety of wines. The wines were all excellent. Left purchasing several bottles and glasses. This is one of those spots that are small now, but will blow up once people find out how great the wines are at such a great price.
My wife and I had a phenomenal tasting with Fernando! We learned a lot and tasted some amazing wine! He gave some wonderful recommendations for where we should visit after our tasting too.
I recently had the pleasure of discovering Diablo Paso Wines, and let me tell you, it's a story as captivating as the wines themselves. Be sure to ask for Deb when you visit the tasting room. She’s incredibly friendly and can provide expert guidance on the wine selection. If you're a wine enthusiast looking for something truly special, Diablo Paso is a must-try. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!
Diablo Paso is located in downtown Paso Robles. Great location and wonderful Spanish varietal wines. Deborah was extremely friendly and made us feel like family. We can't wait for our next Paso trip so we can visit again!
Wonderful little tasting room specializing in delicious Spanish varietals. While not being a huge red wine enthusiast, I really loved their reds: the garnacha, tempranillo, and the excellent garnacha/graciano/tempranillo blend called El Macho (such a cute name!). I even liked the roses, which I also don't normally drink. The place is run by a husband-wife team; we were served by the lady and had a great time learning about the wines as we enjoyed our tastings.
We enjoyed the wine tasting experience at Diablo Paso. Fernando, our pourer, knew what he was talking about the wine and made our experience enjoyable. The wines are made Spanish oak and had great flavor.
This place has the best dessert wine if you like sweet wine! I loved it so much I bought 3 bottles! Loved it!

Great wines! All Spanish varietals and all are exceptional. Enrique, the wine maker, is a great host when he is in the tasting room too. Enjoy!
Right in downtown Paso. Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, winemaker (Enrique), who thankfully is so ok answering all our questions and is so helpful and passionate about what he does. Only in Paso do you still belly up to the bar with the winemaker!! The wines also are soooo good - love the Albariño, Tempranillo, Chanaque, Cab Franc - but all are amazing and so drinkable and delicious! Join the club now!! You won’t regret it!!
We had a wonderful afternoon tasting wine with Enrique. We have a preference for Spanish wines so this is right up our alley. Our daughter is studying viticulture at Cal Poly and he was very kind with advice. But most importantly the wines were excellent! Our favorites were the rose and garnacha.
Last night on 1/9/25, was the first time I’ve ever seen this place empty, I couldn’t resist. Strolled in and had an enchanting dialog with Fernando about Tempranillo wine and how their American Oak aged vintages really do give you a true Spanish flavor and experience from start to finish. This is El Paso De Robles in a bottle, in the most decadent and yet refined way possible. Truly to me, there aren’t many better wines in California than the 2017 Reserve I was allowed to taste. This winery and tasting room make me grateful I was born in San Luis Obispo. As well continue to humble my palate as a chef every time I’m lucky enough to find a pour of Diablo.
The wines are all excellent and Enrique is so kind and knowledgeable!
Fantastic tasting experience. Loved learning about the wines. Bought a dessert wine. Can't wait to return.
Awesome little tasting room in downtown Paso. Loved the atmosphere, decor and music. Spanish wine varietals were amazing. I felt like I was in Spain. Debra was an amazing barista! I liked that they were open 7 days a week and stayed open later hours! Already planning our next trip back!
Very nice tasting experience, if a little prolonged due to a large party near us. Still, personal attention was provided, etc. Wines, in the Spanish style, were very good and a nice change from the usual Paso treatment of the same grapes.
On our first trip through the Paso Robles wine country, we experienced some very pleasant wineries and well-crafted wines. My research into those who deal in Spanish varietals paid off when we visited Diablo Paso. A small & charming establishment right in the downtown area, we were served by the charming co-owner, Nora Torres. Her husband Enrique is the winemaker and his approach was a welcome relief from some of the higher alcohol/hot wines we experienced in this warm terroir. He employs an old world approach with alcohol levels more in the 11.5-13% range, while extracting sufficient fruit, structure and varietal expression. His Albariño was delightful and we purchased. I highly recommend a visit to this gem. Taste what an innovative winemaker can craft without relying upon high octane and over-expressed fruit.
I have loved their wines from the first time that I tried them. La Gloria Dulce is a surprising favorite of mine. They've just started a new line of wines as well. I highly recommend going here for delectable wines.
I can't speak highly enough of Diablo Paso! Incredible wines. I ended up purchasing some tempranillo, albariño, and rosé. Cristina was excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
Nora is awesome! Tasty Spanish varietals in a cozy downtown location. Very close to the park and other shops. Highly recommend! We even became members.

Wine server was the absolute BEST, so sweet to our doggone, great tasting notes, and lovely recommendations for what to do in Paso. Wonderful experience!

OMG, Nora is AWESOME! She is the reason we bough their wines. She was knowledgeable and knew how to direct us to the wines we would like.
