We had a great experience at the Lubbock Walk-On's recently. The Boom Boom Shrimp was excellent— fried and tossed perfectly in a sauce that had just the right amount of kick. What really stood out, however, was the service. Our waitress, Zay, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. She provided great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. It is rare to find service that is both professional and genuinely friendly. Highly recommend stopping in, especially if Zay is on shift!

BROOK!!! She is perfect at making you feel special and she knows how to maintain professionalism as well. She laughed with us like family and yet made us feel like we were the most important in the room. Food was great, but Brook’s service keeps us coming back. We love you Brook.

We’ve been coming to Walk ons since we moved to Lubbock and now we consider it our go-to spot. The manager, Terrence, has always been great to us and every waitress we’ve ever had has been so nice. This tike around we had Ali and she was quick, friendly and responsive to our needs. We recommend Walk ons to any family that wants good food, great service and a fun place to watch sports.

She was one of the most amazing servers I have had at a restaurant. She was very attentive, she made sure we were taken care of before and after our food came, she also recommended one of her favorites off the menu which we got and it did not disappoint it was the “Lemon Butter Chicken” sooo good! I will definitely be coming back again and I hope Araceli can Serve us again because of the amazing hospitality she had with us! 5 stars! ⭐️

First of all, this place is really really good all the way around. The atmosphere is fun and very sports centered. If you want to see a game and grab a beer, this is a great choice. They have a really large amount of seating. The staff are all ultra nice and very helpful. I never saw someone without a smile on their face. The food selection is awesome but not overwhelming. Both food and drinks hit the spot and tasted great. Honestly, it was a fun environment and food was good. I highly recommend stopping here to snag some food and watch the game.

This place was surprisingly really good. We went for date night. The food was really fresh and delicious; I was honestly surprised for a chain sports bar. The kitchen was a tad slow, but the waitress continually checked on us and refilled drinks. That's acceptable for fresh food. We will be back! I hope the card vending machine is working when we come back.

We had a great experience with good friends. Your server Ameya was very nice, very helpful and her service was on point. She made very good suggestions for or appetizer ( I noticed fried pickles were on the menu anymore) Ameya said she could get those for us. Pickles were hot, fresh and delicious! My wife and I wanted to split a Black Jack burger Ameya asked if we would like to have it cut in half for us. Yes we did. Ameya also help out guest with her knowledgeable and understanding of menu items. She did a fantastic job.

Phenomenal Service: Ask for Raeleigh and Lilly! ​I popped into Walk-Ons tonight for a quick, mid-week dinner at the bar, and I was absolutely blown away by the service. From the moment I sat down, Raeleigh and Lilly were on top of everything, operating the entire bar with incredible speed, warmth, and efficiency. Despite the bar area being busy, they made me feel completely taken care of. ​They were attentive without hovering, ensuring my drink stayed full and my food order was placed promptly. Speaking of food, everything was delicious, but the service is truly what earned this five-star rating. Raeleigh and Lilly are a fantastic team—professional, friendly, and clearly dedicated to giving every patron a great experience. They kept the atmosphere lively and positive. ​If you’re looking for a fast, delicious meal where the bartenders treat you like a regular, pull up a seat at the bar and hope these two are working. Thanks for turning a quick stop into a stellar dining experience!

Had lunch today at Walk-Ons. The service was top notch. She was very friendly and knowledgeable! I had the Boom Boom Shrimp and their Triple Play Sliders special. Washed it down with a Raspberry Lemonade which was very refreshing on this 100°+ day! Food came out perfectly; fresh, hot, and quite tasty! My server checked back often enough to make me feel welcomed! Certainly in my rotation!

It's hard to find good seafood in Lubbock cooked right. Usually, Walk-Ons is our place to go. Started with boom boom shrimp that was real good and at Happy Hour $4.00 off. It was the star of our meal. My wife had the Voodoo shrimp and grits. Grits were delicious, shrimp good flavor, but cooked to long. They were tough. I had the Bayou Pasta good portion size, just needed more sauce. The blackened shrimp was flavorful and REALLY blackened to the point they were very tough. Service was excellent, our waitress was extremely nice. Big Question ❓ Will we go back. Yes, we will, hopefully the cook was just having an off night. P.S. the menus need to be replaced. Sections of it u could barely read, they were worn out

Went for Happy Hour and they don’t have menus? Food was good, service was good. Typical sports bar wit lots of tv’s.

We have really enjoyed this restaurant in the past, but the service has gone way down hill. We will not be back! We were seated in an area of the restaurant that is basically an enclosed patio and it was absolutely freezing. Our entire party (even the men who are never cold) was shivering and extremely cold. We asked the waitress at least 3 times to turn on the heaters on the patio. We overheard the table next to us asking the same. After 25 mins, we asked to speak to the manager and asked her to please turn on the heaters and let her know that we were all miserable. Again, no heaters were turned on. Most miserable experience I’ve had in a while! We will most definitely never be back!
