Volvemos fijo!!!
An exquisite place. The staff, both in the dining room and at the bar, are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is beautiful, with a fireplace that transforms the atmosphere into a perfect refuge for cold winter days. The food lives up to the setting: flavorful, carefully prepared, and made with genuine passion for the craft. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome, even if it's your first visit. A place to come and eat without hesitation.
My son, my husband, and I were returning from our vacation in the north. It was late, and we didn't have a reservation. The service was fabulous from the start; the food was wonderful, the meats were delicious, and the staff was spectacular. Thank you so much for your hospitality, see you next time!
Everything was delicious, the desserts were baked in a wood-fired oven, and the service was excellent. They were always attentive and considerate of our preferences. Very respectful and careful. They have gluten-free options. We loved the grilled sea bass; you could see the care and skill in its preparation and the quality of the ingredients.
A great restaurant for a family meal. Everything we ordered was delicious. I recommend the croquettes, the mushrooms, and the roast suckling pig and kid goat, as well as the mille-feuille cake. Generally, the service was very good, although some dishes and drinks took a while to arrive. The upstairs dining room had a bit of smoke from the wood-burning fireplace used for the roasts.
Today we ate at this restaurant, which has a family atmosphere from the moment you walk in until you leave. The food is fantastic and prepared with attention to detail. They have gluten-free bread and the desserts are homemade. A 100% recommended place, and we'll definitely be back. One of the best coffees I've ever had in a restaurant! 😉
My visit to Arandinos Peña Collaspino in Gascones was an outstanding experience that deserves to be highlighted. We ordered the steak cooked on a hot stone, accompanied by homemade potatoes and Padrón peppers, and everything was impeccable: the steak was tender and juicy, perfect for finishing to your liking on the hot stone; the potatoes were golden and flavorful; and the peppers had that slightly spicy touch that always surprises. The staff's service was exceptionally friendly and professional, the kind that makes you feel at home from the very first moment. Their genuine, personal touch adds an extra dimension to the meal. The restaurant's rural ambiance, with its traditional decor and tranquil setting in the heart of the mountains, creates an ideal atmosphere for enjoying a relaxed and charming meal. Overall, Arandinos Peña Collaspino is a highly recommended place, and I will undoubtedly return on future visits to the area.
Although we had to wait a little while to be seated, the experience was totally worth it. The food exceeded our expectations: generous portions, high-quality ingredients, and everything tasted amazing. The staff was also lovely and very attentive throughout the meal. In short, a place where the wait is forgotten as soon as the first course arrives. Highly recommended!
It's a real PLACE!!! without a doubt, come on, a true MUST in the Sierra, spectacular food, everything delicious, very delicious, and very good quantity!!! Then the place is perfect, a very pleasant and quiet terrace, as well as super friendly staff, charming and without any complaints, our true recommendation is that you go with time and take advantage to have a drink and then eat and enjoy this excellent place and people... As a recommendation of a dish... The steak, don't miss trying it!
We were having a walk in Buitrago and decided to go for lunch to Arandinos as we could not find anywhere in Buitrago open . And we were so pleased we did . Great little terrace outside . The food was wonderful . We had some peppers first and then the Torreznos and then Setas Rebozadas to share . My wife then had lamb chops and I had the fillet steak . What a great lunch . The food was so tasty and real portions . We forgot we were in the country and the portions are huge . To finish we had strawberries and nata . Real nata my wife said . It made her remember her childhood . And the service was great . The older people can really show the young ones how to work . A big thank you for a wonderful lunch . And also to the great family sat on the table next to us made the afternoon a really fun one . We will return .
We were on the terrace, which was shaded and had a great temperature. The service was very friendly. The food was excellent, the peppers were very tasty, the meat very tender, and they changed the grill up to three times, without us even asking for it. They were very attentive. The millefeuille was very good, I would have skipped the syrup. Complimentary shots. 100% recommended.
A place we enjoyed spending some time on a snowy day. Good service, fast, good products, good wine, and delicious desserts. Two dining areas, one on the ground floor and another upstairs, which is more cozy. The only downside is that if someone orders steak cooked on a hot stone, the smoke it creates is tremendous; you'll leave coughing and smelling like grilled meat.
Very nice country place very good food and excellent service.
Very good food in a traditional environment 1 hour from Madrid. The lamb is especially good.
The food was good and high-quality, traditional homemade, and the atmosphere was pleasant too. The downside: we ordered two red meat dishes (for two people) which come with a griddle to cook at the table, but instead of bringing two griddles, they only brought one, so we practically had to take turns eating. It also came with hardly any embers, so it cooled down quickly. We had to ask for a new griddle, and it took a while to arrive. Unfortunately, they only brought one, and it was also with hardly any embers and was cold in two minutes. We had to ask for a different one, and they brought another for the third time, in the same condition, although by then we were almost finished with our meal. The waiter apologized because they barely had any embers, while at the next table, a couple had a perfect griddle, full of embers to heat their meat. In short, we had to eat the meat in shifts, since there was a 10-minute gap between each plate, and because the meat wasn't heated through, it was essentially steaming. A real shame because it was good quality. Another thing I didn't like was the price of the bread. Charging €1.80 per person (including small children) for a small wedge seems excessive. Almost €15 for what is essentially a loaf, as you can see in the photo. Otherwise, everything was fine. The white beans were delicious, the "grandma's cake" was just okay, the homemade fries were tasty, and the croquettes were good.
Today, two of us ate there and we didn't enjoy the experience much. We had a reservation for 3 pm and were told we'd have to wait a little while. We ended up waiting 25 minutes standing up, with the excuse that a lot of people had arrived. Then they served us bread without asking, and when the bill came, we saw they had charged us for it. The waiters were nice, the food was good but expensive. We won't be back!
