Acebo Madrid Reviews
Se come súper súper bien.
It's very well-known in Alcorcón for its excellent cuisine and the quantity, quality, and variety of its dishes and generous portions. The service is quick and friendly. I've known them since the restaurant opened, and the owners even longer. I can only say that every time we go, we feel right at home, and all our friends and acquaintances who know it are delighted every time they return. My wife and I go for lunch every Sunday. I recommend making a reservation if you want to eat inside. They have a permanent, well-appointed outdoor tent; seating there is on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on the day and time, and it's also very popular. In the summer, they have a large outdoor terrace, which also fills up quickly.
One of the best restaurants in Alcorcón, ever. Always try to order one dish less than you're supposed to; the portions are generous and delicious. We ordered croquettes, bravioli potatoes, cachopo, and two desserts to share between four, and we had a good dinner. Average prices. The only dish we didn't like and wouldn't recommend was the blueberry cheesecake. Get the baked cheesecake, which is spectacular! We'll definitely be back.
Love this restaurant!! Food is very authentic, and service is fantastic!
Good place with good quality of food and good price for business lunch. They are not accepting booking for bussiness lunch only for menu. A good place to enjoy a family lunch and big terrace too.
Cacho Cachopo
We had the set menu. It was good, a good portion, and a good price. The only weak point was the dessert, but it was still tasty. The service is very fast, and if you don't notice, you eat very quickly too.
I was looking for an Asturian restaurant in the area and called this place. It was Sunday, and despite being packed, they managed to find me a spot at the bar. I tried the cachopo; the meat was high quality and crispy on the outside. I really liked it, and it's also a good size, enough for two people who eat well. I tried the croquettes, which were also delicious, and the homemade pistachio dessert was a great choice. The waiters were attentive and friendly the whole time, even though the place was full. It took ten minutes for the food to arrive after we ordered. A great find, so I recommend it.
The portions are large. If you are really hungry, this is your place
Excellent service and a good selection of tapas
I went for dinner and we ordered tomato salad with tuna belly. When the waiter was about to bring it to the table, he spilled all the oil on a friend. He apologized, but couldn't even bring her a cloth to clean herself up, let alone a cloth; he just gave her his thin coat. The problem was that there was hardly any room to move around the dining room. Since it was the season for company dinners, they wanted to maximize the space, and our table was right in the middle. In the end, there was €6 left over in change, and we had to ask the waiter to please bring it back. He said, "Oh yes, the €6." It felt a bit strange. I usually leave tips because I recognize that working with the public is complicated, especially in restaurants, but in this case, we didn't leave anything.
I'm giving it 3 stars because I think we made a mistake, and instead of getting the portions, we got plates. Quite a few people recommended this place to us, and we decided to try it. We had octopus for starters, which was good but a bit tough; for main courses, we had top sirloin for two, a ribeye steak, and a turbot. We ordered the meat medium rare; it came out a little cold, so we asked for it to be reheated, but when they reheated it, they overcooked it and left it too cooked for my taste. The turbot was good. In short, I thought it was a bit expensive for what it is (speaking of the fact that we ordered plates, not portions). I think this place is more for tapas. We'll give it a second chance.
Normal
This is our second time here. The first time was okay, but nothing spectacular... the second time was a disaster. Last Friday, we arrived at 2:15 pm and were seated at 3:20 pm (we were the second group waiting for a table). We left at 5:10 pm. I don't know if they were overwhelmed or what, but there were only two waiters for the entire terrace (one of them, the younger one, had to be asked three times because he kept forgetting things and then got annoyed). The food was mediocre, except for a few decent items. We usually order takeout, and we'll continue to do so occasionally because the food is good, but eating there... out of the question.
I've been going to this restaurant for years. Yesterday I went with my family and it was a complete disaster. The portions were tiny, nothing like they used to be. The waiters were arguing loudly among themselves. Then, instead of saying they didn't have a cake, they brought me a slice that looked like it had been laser-cut. If I hadn't told them, they would have pretended not to notice. In the end, they charged me half price for the dessert. Awful, and incredibly expensive. Zero value for money.
We arrived at 2:00 PM. There were eight of us. They started bringing our drinks at 2:30 PM. They took our food order at 3:20 PM. There were only two lambs left, and we wanted six. Of course, they were gone. The second course arrived 45 minutes after the first course. On top of that, it was unbearably hot. The waiter apologized when it was time to pay, obviously because of the tip. We called them 20 times, but they didn't pay attention. Tables of two arrived, ordered food, and left, while we waited and waited. I won't go back.
Disappointing. We found a hair in the garlic prawns. The scallops, besides not being scallops, were cold inside as if they'd been frozen. The cachopo was so undercooked it was difficult to cut. They recommended a slice of "grandma's cake," which was €8 and completely dry. Prices completely disproportionate to the quality of the product.
